2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 01, 2021, 09:37:56 PM
Its a personal problem because you are the ones who do make such action and they wont really be blaming out those institutions out there because of that and you havent forced to play on the first place and also talking about increase due to pandemic then it isnt surprising because we do even have more free time on engaging on online things including gambling and  for sure this isnt really just talking in
UK but also in other countries as well but the havent been tallied up until now which i do really believed that theres still more out there.
This is actually a very common problem.
agree with you that this problem is not only happening in the UK but also in other countries

btw, It is true that gambling addiction is a personal problem but it is natural for the government to provide health facilities for addicts to treat their citizens' opium, especially gambling addiction, it is an obligation because citizens have paid taxes
We've seen several countries do really mind off about their citizens condition towards possible addictions which they are creating these kind of facilities for them to protect or able to recover to those people who are

really in big problem. For some people it might really sound nor look being a stupid move because this is something a personal kind of choice on making such action which leads them on being addicted.

If they had attained this problem then they are the ones who would need to solve out but honestly having these kind of benefits or something like this is such a great help on
a problem which is focused on this one.
2402  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: October 29, 2021, 08:54:30 PM
It all comes down to what suits you more and where are you more profitable with. There are good investors and good traders who both make a lot of money. We can't just say that one is better than the other. The two are very different from each other, so a good investor you would not necessarily be a good trader as well. As an investor you focus more on long term trends and the big picture, whereas the trader takes advantage of short term opportunities and profits of price anomalies. As a trader you need to have a good stomach and be able to sleep well with taking higher risks. I tried both myself and find that investing suits better my risk appetite. The younger you are the easier it is to get used to the fast path environment of trading. Why not try both yourself and see what is better for you?

Very good point, it ends up from how you see your opportunities and how deal with it in the right manner,

Both are good if you see the value of the business, people who knows how to make good money out from this industry use either trading or investing, and some also combine the two and still gaining decently.

All that matters is how you understand and make a good use of that knowledge to turned it to cash making strategy.
Doesnt matter on which one you are really dealing with because as been said that things would turn out to be beneficial if you do know on what you are doing. Not all would really be that good on handling out things thats why they are really hesitant in doing so.

Be mindful on various source of income because the more we do have it the more better it is.It do vary or depend on how you do tend to do good.

Experience is a must before achieving these things though but take it slowly step by step.
2403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Nigeria to finally launch Enaira today on: October 29, 2021, 07:55:03 PM
Well congratulations to Nigerians and the leaders as well, they have tried on lunching their first digital currency. I believe it's a sign that cryptocurrency will be fully legalize in Nigeria. I hope the entire Nigerian citizens use the this opportunity to make good use this digital currency.
I think it is naive to think that this means that the government of Nigeria is going to welcome with open arms other coins that are nothing more but superior competitors to what they are offering, if anything this is going to be used as an argument to try to ban them, they will argue that there is now no need for the use of bitcoin as now people can use their digital currency, so I expect the opposite, most likely we are going to see a ban on cryptocurrencies, but I think the people of Nigeria are smarter than that and will keep using their bitcoin despite of what their government says.
Everything cant be known until we do see on what are the steps and decisions that they do made out but you did actually said a solid point that whenever they do tend to create something their own coin then its normal to think that they will really be focusing more than on this one compared on
other coins existence.

If they do still welcome out other options then it would be great but its most likely there would be some prohibition because  basing off with the
very basics on how government do handle things up then i wont be surprised if they would really stick into that.

For now lets see on how this would end up.
2404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 29, 2021, 06:54:13 PM
This is another thing, it's an exhibition fight and they have to ensure it's entertaining.
the only way an exhibition can become entertaining is if two actual fighters are fighting. not a wannabe boxer vs a boxing legend. that being said, I'm pretty sure this fight will be entertaining to logan paul fans. I visited that dude's youtube channel after I found out that the fight is over to see what people and his fans have to say. and god damn, some of them even think that logan paul won the fight.
Got Curios about your reply and also look from Paul's YouTube channel. I was thinking that you are referring to Paul against Tyson but seem not, as the last updated video is regarded to both fighters agree with the exhibition fight.

It will be entertaining indeed if both fighters do have same calibers, but a 55 years old former world champ against a younger wannabe boxers/streamer.

More on how the script has been written and how they will act accordingly, in the best interest of making good money. Cool
Exhibition means entertainment and those fight organizers are totally aware about those HUGE differences in terms of power and experience.

I agree with that boxer wannabe and this guy do really love on making these fights to make some good money which i cant really deny that this man is a bit clever.

I dont see for it to be entertaining though since you do already know the outcome. Wont be surprised if t his one would be ending up on DRAW.
What can you say?
2405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 28, 2021, 11:43:18 PM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

It's still a joke even it's worth real money. As long as it has trading volume, there are people who will trade it.

But to hold DOGE because of its fundamentals? I doubt the majority thinks of it that way. They are trading that joke coin because it's good for short-term trades and easy to manipulate. With just one action to make it hype again, the DOGE market reacts right away. That's the risky part of trading that coin.
DOGE coins from them we can learn memes are not always considered jokes, sometimes jokes are painful in reality , just like DOGE coins have serious value and they keep it hoping to break $1 dollars back even more
Yeah its a meme coin but this one had survived how many years compared into those so called good project( scam coin) which owners been trying to
advertise or make people believe but still ending up on a demise or simply died out without getting that much attention thats why DOGE is something
which is way more useful or relevant compared into those coins that arent even getting that much value or recognition.
2406  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: October 28, 2021, 10:40:05 PM
Quote
If we have continuation of bull rally into 2022 then we may have bitcoin prices to be trading above $100k levels.

Of course its all base on the news. I hope we keep getting positive news and no untimely FUD spread out till year end. I really would love to see Btc @100k flag off.
FUD and FOMO would always be part of this market on which there are really situations which the price would heavily react on current market sentiment

which is very common or do really happen anytime neither expectedly or unexpectedly which its just sensible that you should really be observant on things.

Bitcoins price is something not can really be predicted thats why questions like these wont really be getting any precise answers.
2407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 28, 2021, 09:45:38 PM
~quarantine )
5. You can also bet internationally easier than betting with fiat hands down.
There are many more things as well, for me I prefer betting with cryptocurrencies since fiat doesn't come with much options.
You do have a lot of advantages, but not those that are on your list.
~~

of course 5 makes sense.
Depending on the country you live betting may be forbidden or some games may not be available
if you include varietis of betting (like elections, as an example) there's even more possibilities
One could be able to bet on the outcome of US elections even if they live in France, Japan or South Africa.
There might be some restrictions that could be seen on other countries but doesnt mean that the market isnt really open on almost everything.

Betting on other events on other countries which is indeed possible due to accessibility of those services/platforms which are providing for people
to be able to make out some bets which is the real beauty of things.

About choosing whether crypto or fiat then it will vary on your needs but you could really notice which one is really better
in terms of anonymity and easy access. Wink
2408  Economy / Economics / Re: Simple reason why crypto is preferred over fiats on: October 28, 2021, 07:52:36 PM
You don't get this with Fiat nowadays. While rewards on crypto are good, the risk of loss is certainly a lot higher than it's the case with Fiat.

Its still much better to hold crypto in long term rather than holding fiat. Look at crypto's return for the last 8-10 years and compare that to fiat's inflation rate. That would give you better insight on crypto return rather than comparing it to the short term roller coaster. Yeah we had massive drop from 18k to 8k or something in 2018 but overall its still much better to hold portion of crypto rather than fiat
We dont know on what future holds thats why we had able to say that crypto is better because things do already happen on which it did really have some significant increase of price which is way more higher compared when you do hold fiat.

Yes, in general sense then crypto would really be worth compared to fiat but of  course it would have corresponding risk because we cant be sure if a particular coin that we're holding is really making out some potential movement or increase in the future.

So its a matter of choice and risk taking.
2409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: October 27, 2021, 10:50:54 PM
~snip~
You can easily earn $ 5000 per month if you understand the signals and trade futures on the Binance Exchange. If you want to trade futures, you must maintain the signal and trade.
Not a really good piece of advice considering on how risky to trade up on Futures./Leverage or options which not all people would really be that good on making up trades even you're provided with some signals or hints or tips then that wont really be giving out an assurance for you to succeed on.

You could make out 5k a month but its not an assurance and if you do play or trade up with bigger capital and have less risk management percentage
then its plausible but dont make yourself that too confident because this market isnt something you could predict on.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 09:35:18 PM
lost 20k in 2 days , used up all my profits from my portfolio , and i just wanted to keep on going . how you guys stop yourself from betting/gambling on casino ?

looking for ways to bet on sportsbook but not on casino , but stake does not provide the option for that .  Undecided

Not that you're going to listen to anyone at this point, but you really need to cut your losses and run. That money is gone now, you have to accept you made a mistake and do not chase your losses even further. With the destructive cycle that you're in all reason and rational thinking has gone. You need to stop gambling completely because it is clear you are fully tilted right now and are just leaking money all over the place. Avoid the internet entirely if that is where you're betting and find a new hobby that can take your mind off it. Go find some books to read, or visit some new places to clear your mind. Only you will be able to beat this addiction but forget about all the losses that lead up to this point - those memories will only hurt you if you keep repeating them, accept it and let your bad mistakes go.
Most of people do suggest the same thing but this is actually a problem that can only be resolved out by himself which means that neither he do listen

out or would most likely ignore and go ahead on what hes been currently doing.Gambling addiction is something that hard to resist once you had
been shackled with it.

Leave when you do see that you are spending too much because if you dont able to stop then for sure you would suffer
big problems that lies ahead.
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy to carry on making money when Bitcoin turns bearish on: October 27, 2021, 07:53:49 PM
My strategy is to continue to accumulate. DCA. You can never know for sure when the bear market is going to come, and Bitcoin is profitable enough that you don't have to go crystal ball gazing to see when you get it right.

If this cycle repeats past cycles, I may spend a little more Bitcoin at the peak, and if next year or the following years there is a deep dip, I may buy more than usual, but in general I will buy the same amount periodically. Rise rinse repeat.

Lets put up some links about on whats DCA(Dollar cost averaging)
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/profiting-big-from-bitcoin-dca-2021-08-15

This is indeed the best time on making this move on where you do slowly making out some accumulation
while the price turns out to be bearish.

Somehow this isnt something simple specially if we do talk about emotionally engaged kind of actions.
2412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 27, 2021, 06:54:21 PM
I've followed airdrops and the results were disappointing, just a waste of time and filling groups on telegram, and now prefer to follow bounties on this forum, airdrops are no longer appropriate and are only a means of finding followers on telegram, twitter or other social media for developers.
Back in the past that it wasnt really that totally worthless compared on now where most projects are totally shit or not relevant anymore.Going back

on where you could at least find one or two projects which are good for you to engage on but basing up on the numbers that you are seeing then

it would really be hard to determine which is good and which is bad. Also, surprisingly that there are still people who do still get engage with airdrops
despite of the condition.
2413  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 26, 2021, 11:36:59 PM
The more coins the better but it would be still depending on them because having a few or mainly focusing on top coins like Bitcoin and other top alts

It is indeed depending on the demand and if they do saw that there's much more demand with SHIB than with DOGE then theyll surely
be listing SHIB.
More coins and tokens are helpful, but BTC should remain the priority in my opinion since majority of the gamblers including me depend on BTC for deposits and withdrawals since it's easier to convert to FIAT and vica versa when compared to other altcoins.

Shiba Inu recently fell in price thanks to Musk stating that Dogecoin is the people's cryptocurrency though it still remains popular based on the crypto ranking list.

Honestly, I would choose Dogecoin over Shiba Inu any day since it's not just a meme coin anymore and history has proven that.

Dogecoin is a great coin! It deserves to be around and I'm not sure why it is not used more, especially for gambling. I'm not surprised it is in the Top 10 and it would surely rank up higher if more people used it. I'm not the only one who appreciates it. There are many casinos who accept it for deposits. But due to it's name, a lot of people just look at it as a joke, a meme rather than looking at it as a currency.
As for Shiba Inu, I consider it to be merely another Ethereum token. It's no different from thousands of others.

I cannot say Doge coin is a good coin but It deserve to be added compare to other selection like Shina Inu since compare to that token Doge is more establish and we can say that it will last long and little much away to be manipulated so for sure many will suggest that this is more ideal to be added since its more safer to rollbit if they choose this. I don't consider Shiba Inu a good option for now maybe this token needs more years to convince me that this is a good option to.
Why do always end up on being an issue whenever a casino tends to add up a new coin? This isnt something a big deal for us to discuss on.

Whether they do addup the most shittiest coin in the market as of this moment then theres nothing we can do,It wont really be that

a big deal if they would be adding lots of coins as they desired.
2414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: October 26, 2021, 10:38:03 PM
This rule can generally be considered one of the main ones. When I started working with a broker from Amarkets, I worked on a demo account for a long time, so that I could work out this skill.

I have tested this in the real market and it is true that we often lose trade when we are in a hurry to buy or sell. When i started trading, i always buy in a hurry because of fear of missing out but later i realized that price always retraces back to support. So even if you do not miss an entry, always wait for the price to move back to the nearest support and place limit orders on support only.
Most common scenario is that whenever we are on the verge on bursting all of our capital is that we do make out desperate measures which a result of hurrying up yourself on making out decisions because you cant really able to avoid on no to think that you might able to get those losses back if you
had done something like this which its a mistake because you had already forgotten on how things should be done.
2415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is more important Hype or Utility? on: October 26, 2021, 09:26:59 PM

If you are a trader or investor, what is important to you in choosing token or coins to invest, coins depends on hype or coins with utility?
For short term = HYPE
For long term = Utility

When you do have sufficient knowledge and experience in the market then you would really be having the same insights just like
on what i have said.

You would need to play with the waves even though some people doesnt really like hypes but you could actually make money on that.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 26, 2021, 07:37:15 PM
Despite being an exhibition fight, I'm anxious to watching it.
Mike Tyson was a great boxer (perhaps one of the best in the sport's history).

I saw some videos of Tyson training and he really is a monster! He's more than 50 years old, he's still fast and technical.

One question, is the height of Logan Paul and his wingspan that could make a difference against Tyson? Even though it's an exhibition fight?
Wouldnt be that effective since Tyson could easy block and avoid those sloppy jabs from Logan and also we've seen that stamina is really way too far off even Tyson had long time retired but
those qualities of being a great boxer does still remain and also he's still in shape even he's already old.

Just like on what others been saying. How long he could last or stand up if he would be hit that signature uppercut of Tyson?
Well business is business as usual.
Exhibition fights do really automatically means money and which is really an entertainment even those non-boxers would tend to challenge with those pro boxers whether active or retire it doesnt matter.
All they do just need is to make certain hype on which they could create because the more noise it has then the more money that they could have.It seems that Logan isnt still contented on
how much he did get on that Conor fight? And now we are seeing that he do set up some fight again against with the greatest boxer? LOL!!!!!!!!
This happens because of the people response in the last exhibition fight of Mike Tyson in which gathered so many bets and fans watching.
but the thing is many also got disappointed with the outcome as the Draw happens when it is clearly show Mike tyson wins in that fight.

Now here we are again in the same manner but different opponent and they give a twist as putting Younger than the last one.

but i don't think this will be successful like the previous one .
There's no such thing about winning or losing on an exhibition match since these fights are arrange for entertainment purposes only thats why you

shouldnt really expect for guaranteed win because decisions could either be justifiable or not on your part thats why dont expect that much.

Success will vary if they had pursed out good revenue on this one and since Logan is much more popular than with other which Tyson fought
then expect that there would be still significant profits for this one.
2417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 26, 2021, 06:28:12 PM
Bitcoin as a Decentralized Cryptocurrency has no physical structure just like the bank. It’s basically stored in a digital wallet/account being operated from a mobile device and its security embedded there also. In creating Defi wallet or block chain account no available section for next of kin or third party details Its always advised to keep Recovery Phrase details secret  in save location, these will help in recovering the wallet.

Literally bitcoin details remain secret and personal to me. If I continue to keep my details secret of what use would it be to me when I’m no more and my love ones can’t benefit from my bitcoin? Here is my question what happens to the bitcoin of someone who died and didn’t disclose his/her wallet details to anyone? please I need response . Would the bitcoin be abandoned in the wallet forever?? Would it be a waste of bitcoin?

If you die today, your bitcoin will remain in your wallet. Yes, it will be forever left in your wallet if you die especially if you didn't give your child a private key to pass your bitcoin. But if you will give your child the responsibility to access your account then your child will inherit bitcoin and not be burried on your wallet forever. Your child may earn through this to help your family.

I don't think it's a good idea to just hand over the key. The better, in my opinion, is similar to a will and testament. It's as if you'll put it in a box with a lock and hide it or put it somewhere out of the way and tell your family or children about it, but only say that they'll open it when you die, with no further explanations, and make a note that it's really, really important. But this is just my opinion if I have a bitcoin, and we all know that we will die at some point, so we should be prepared.
Just tell them at least with the basics or you had put up some instructions on  that will on how they would able to access it even though its a bit technical but make it at least simple as possible for them to understand.

If you dont like for them to be totally illiterate then it isnt bad to consider on telling them on earlier but of course its all about crypto
and how do wallets work and how to make it as a fiat.

Aside from Will suggestions there are still one which is that timelock thing which is mentioned on earlier page which i do see
this method to be somewhat ideal.
2418  Economy / Economics / Re: How to identify high-quality projects in the primary market? on: October 25, 2021, 11:32:39 PM
So far what I've learned, it's hard to find a really quality project. but one thing comes to mind, that's where the project is advertised. because where to market the product is very important, not only on bitcointalk but also on crypto-related websites. But choose an existing project like bitcoin or other coins that have launched their project and have a history. You can see what they have achieved so far on their website to analyze it further and decide if it is the right project for you. This is my sincere advice for you to be a wise investor.
Really hard to find due to lots of projects in the market as of this moment which means that it would really be a hit or miss but of course it would be good if you do know on how to choose or do make out your research.

Identifying might be hard but when you do have sufficient experience on this market or had actual engagement about project investing then you do have at least the idea.

Its up to your own jurisdiction whether it do passes up on your criteria or not.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 25, 2021, 09:59:56 PM
Don't have any idea about Conor and Logan but did they fight before?

What event where Logan Paul did get much money from any related event with Conor? If I remember it right, it was just a plan but never got pushed.
Yeah it was just an attempt but never happened, maybe he do talk about Mayweather instead? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez-VyzxMuwE

That's correct, it means money but it doesn't mean that exhibition fights are scripted or rigged, it's not like Wrestling where there's a script that they follow. IMO, although this is called an exhibition fight, it's still as dangerous as professional boxing, so they also deserved to make money here as they are risking their life.
Dont know if risking their lives is an appropriate thing or words to used but its a bit exaggerated.

I dont really see any chances for some upset and of course exhibition is just for pure entertainment.
2420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: October 25, 2021, 08:55:07 PM
we are not too late to buy Bitcoin because the price of bitcoin will continue to rise from year to year. Bitcoin has reached $66,878 and now the bitcoin price has dropped to $60,813. we still have the opportunity to get bigger profits in the future, so don't delay buying bitcoin if the price goes up again then we will regret it later.
I agree is it late depends on what time period you watch. Long term now is good chance to buy since the price will move up with time.
actually I agree with what you say, all stay relative and carefully observe what we will do for the purchase.
if for bitcoin it is never too late to buy because it will obviously continue to increase again in the future. if indeed at this time if it does not happen according to the analysis that says that bitcoin will increase by the end of this year.
There's no such thing about being late on investing specially with bitcoin since we know its future potential capabilities which could really give out some profit into those people who do really believes on it

but somehow this is something which cant really be guaranteed. You could choose up to have some alts too but of course their price potential in upcoming months or years to come isnt guaranteed.

So its up to you whether you consider this one out or just simply stick on whats common.
