You people are so stupid. Unbelievable
Still waiting for that signed message to prove you own the 3BTC You have to see this from the other side. 1) you are new 2) you have red trust rating 3) you have no trade history 4) you want someone to send a complete stranger £300 5) you have provided no proof you even own 3 BTC6) you are avoiding using escrow All the above are red flags for a scammer You should know all this already from your previous BTC sales thread that did not end well - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1077020.msg11504293#msg11504293

Mate doesn't work like that. PayPal payments can be reversed. Once I receive payment first and it has cleared I will release the bitcoins simple Lol never judge a book by its cover.
So why not place the coins for sale in Escrow for buyer protection. When you have the funds you can then give the OK to release them. p.s. post a signed message from the address holding the BTC to proove you own them.
This is the point most scammers go offline

Im the one taking a risk for selling through PayPal mate. Iv heard about people reversing the payment.
The old "you send first because you have paypal protection" scam. Think you need to go away and come up with something new, also when scamming try to price the coins at just below market rate in the future, stupid prices = red flag p.s. using Escrow adds no additonal risk to you but protects the buyer just encase you choose not to send the coins and run with the money but im sure you are fully aware of that.

Gold is supported by governments and rich individuals who like power and control.
Bitcoin at the moment in the big scheme of things is a small market cap minor distraction to these people. Should it start to grow to a point where the people above feel threatened or start to loose some power or control they will simply ban Bitcoin.
Some may say you cant ban bitcoin etc. but if the government do decide to ban it a large % of population will cease to use it preventing it becoming mainstream causing the price to crash.
Russia and China are buying gold as quick as they get their hands on it for a reason, the same cant be said for BTC

I also cheated a user EvBitcoinFan(1.77 BTC) and took my money ((( I do not know what happened with the user Romanko .
very much hope that he will be released on bond and will return all the money...
You said you cheated a user Anyway next time use escrow even if the user is trusted, better to be safe ~ Obviously a bit of a language barrier, he was also scammed of 1.77 BTC by EvBitcoinFan

I take it the sovereigns are boxed proof versions at that price?

He is alright...I will let him explain whatever details he wants. I was just trying to get OP an answer about when he gets what is owed.
Xestr - all I have is a few texts with little more info than I posted. I was asked just to pass on when he will be back to settle up his debts. If what I was told is the truth then I understand the delay. I agree though stuff like this is not good when trading.
Blazedout419 it looks like Maidak hasn't repayed anyone anything or that he intends too due to lack of contact or forum activity. Why not post his phone number so those that have been scammed can get in contact directly? It would be a useful piece of information to help the authorities track him down. Dont think its right to help keep a scammer hidden.
|
|
|
Looks like Maidak has gone in to hiding or is too ashamed to show his face again here.
He's not been on for nearly 2 weeks now, personally I would post every bit of info I had on him, his family and friends.
Contact as many of them via facebook, phone and txt and let them all know exactly what he has done followed up by passing all that info on to the authorities.
$400 is bad enough but the other guy who posted in the scam accusation thread is down $5k.
If he does show up with some sob story I hope no one falls for the shit as there is no excuse for stealing from others.

This user's password was reset recently.
probably due to the security breach. A lot of users recently changed their password.

I have a fair bit of gold stacked, actually I converted all my BTC in to the yellow shiny stuff.
All of it huh? You don't even want to hedge a bit with BTC? Seems pretty risky. When I swapped out my BTC for gold it wasn't that far off a 1:1 ratio, now its over 5 BTC to an oz of gold, more than happy with my decision. You get to stare and digits on a screen, I get to play pirate with my treasure chest -

much better pic thanks, the detail in the steps now looks legit.
The fake 2013 panda does not have the patterns in the center of the steps which you could not see in the first pic.

It's either a really bad photo or I'm calling fake on the panda. The detail on the temple steps does not look correct.
Could you post a clearer picture along with your username in the shot.

If there was only 1 bitcoin in existence but it is infinitely divisible it is not scarce.
You are wrong. If you were on a desert island, and the only food there was a piece of bread. If the piece of bread was infinitely divisible, you don't think it is scarce? Bit of a pointless comparison because the value (calories) of the bread is fixed. The value of a division of a bitcoin is not and can be valued at any price people agree on.

Seems a very small sum of money to piss away a legendary account.
Even if he does pop up and settle I think the negative feedback should remain to warn others.
