2421  Other / Meta / Re: Create new account to make revenge. on: September 16, 2018, 04:43:53 AM
I know the risk of reporting someone who do not follow the rules of the forum.
Honestly, this one scared the hell out of me right after I've read OP's post. I suddenly feel nervous while thinking of the possibilities that the users I reported before might also take revenge on me. Also have a doubt that my name is showed every time I report someone's post.

But I'm now relieved after reading this reply.
I mean did you reported him/her as spammer or something using the "Report to Moderator" button? Because if yes, how did s/he knew that you're the one who reported him/her?
I knew it! What I thought from the very beginning was right — your name will not appear after clicking the "Report to Moderator" button. I just overreacted, my bad Grin.

does my profile information affect what he did?
Since I haven't seen any red-colored text in the summary of your profile then I am (others as well) sure that this doesn't affect your account at all. To avoid this kind of cases again, better if you will just directly report the bad posters to the mod instead of posting in a plagiarist accusation thread.
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) Price on: September 16, 2018, 02:58:44 AM
1. Bounty hunters dump their coin
In my opinion, this is the gretest factor which could affect the price of a particular ICO righ after listed on an exchange. Usually, the majority of bounty campaign participants never wanted to hold their coin for a long time because of FOMO that's why they choose to dump as soon as possible. Well, I can't blame them at all since I also have the same mindset.
2. High bonus on Presale phase
On the contrary, low sales before the official start of the coin despite of having a crowdsale is another factor too. Imagine, what outcome do you expect if there are only few holders of that coin? Low price as well since there are only few circulating in the market.
2423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: September 15, 2018, 04:59:47 PM
Don't worry too much, just hold your coins and stay positive. Good things come for those who wait Smiley. Furthermore, do not be deceived by the dropping price of your eth in terms of fiat. The value of your coins remains the same. So if you have 1 eth then at the end of the day it's still 1 eth in your wallet despite of the fluctuations happening in the market. Change your perspective on how you look at things, it may help a lot Smiley.

By the way, eth's price is now increased by 6.32%. See? Eth is not constantly dropping which means there's a hope for all of us Smiley.
2424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy or Not on: September 15, 2018, 10:09:23 AM
Hey guys how are you all? I think not good all because  all cryptos are too low now even ETH too.

Nope, not really. As long as you are holding your coins especially in bearish days like this then there's nothing to worry about Grin.
But now i want to strat trading again. Can i buy coins in this situation or not.
Of course, everyone of us can buy. The question is, do you have the will to do so? If I were you i'll grab this current bearish market as the opportunity to hoard coins so that I will earn bigger when it soars. But if you do not feel the same then don't, if you feel a single bit of hesitation then stop because pushing it might cause to disappointment sooner or later as the situation getting worse. Remember, ask yourself couple of times before investing because you must be really sure when it comes to money.
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is most ICO creator from India on: September 15, 2018, 07:50:04 AM
Well, it's your opinion so I respect it. But according to what I've noticed, ICO's team is usually composed of people coming from the European and Western countries. Well, this is not a constant happening so maybe I'm wrong too Grin.

Anyway, it's no surprising that there are Indians in the devs team of a particular ICO. Indians are good in programming as well as engineering, no doubt about it. The problem is they are just underrated by other countries because they came from the Third World and may also because of their weird culture/way of life.
2426  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) - thread on: September 15, 2018, 06:26:02 AM
Maybe there should be some sort of special archive or a sub board of Archive for truly memorable/classic threads that deserve a place in bitcointalk history.
I agree with you because I'm also thinking the same thing. A compilation of memorable threads would be a better option instead of sticking only the thread given above. Besides, insisting to stick it might cause others to think that there's a favoritism happening here. Others will probably appeal and tell us "How about the first thread made by satoshi?", "The story of HODL", blah blah blah.

So in order to be nice and fair, hilariousetc has a good point. I think all of it should be compiled in a single thread and pinned to a particular part of the forum, the advantages of it is not only for being well organized but also provides convenience for all the users because digging to those threads one by one will be no longer necessary.
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you sure the market will come back at end this year? on: September 15, 2018, 03:37:26 AM
Almost everyone talking BULL will come back at end this year like last year.
Of course, what happened last year is part of the history dude. You can't blame others if they are talking about it more often since we are now coming to December again. Some of us have a positive outlook and some are on doubt, but one thing is for sure, all of us are now excited and nervous on what will really happen in the market before this year ends.
Or maybe We have been waiting so long... so that we are delusional to something that is not real.
The word "delusional" is way too much much. We are not considered delusional because those are only who expect the impossible. Since its not too impossible to reach a new ATH — the chances are always there — then we are just too hopeful (IMO). We are really hoping that btc will skyrocket again thinking that it makes us all wealthy once again. I don't see anything wrong of dreaming nice things Smiley.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This year proved it There is no Crypto Expert! on: September 15, 2018, 01:53:21 AM
This so called "crypto experts" are not real experts at all because they are also predicting the price like we did. The only difference is they probably got a higher knowledge or experience on some of us which they use to predict as close as they can to the actual. In short, they only not simply guessing but smart guessing. However, they are still humans who are vulnerable from committing mistakes and got no precognitive abilities at all so it's not right to blame them if someone loses money. The one who must be blamed here is that "someone" because he let himself accept their influence and rule out his own decisions.

Actually, there's nothing wrong on listening others' prediction. Just remain responsible when deciding what is truely good for you.

I have been following some crypto experts, now I unfollowed them! If you have experience then you don't need to follow any other crypto expert!
It seems that you already made a realization now and I hope that you already learned your lesson also. Good for you Smiley.
2429  Other / Meta / Re: Deleting posts on the forum on: September 14, 2018, 11:55:00 AM
I look into your post history and here's what I've noticed:
1) Your posts are usually 1 or 2 liners only. You are not expounding the thought making your post looks like generic/insignificant.
2) Some of your posts are found on the megathreads.

These are the factors or reasons I think of that's why your post count is decreasing. Well, you also have a point about your guess. Grammar is a big factor as well. If you have a poor grammatical skills in writing then there's a large possibility that a certain member here report you to the mods since your post seems nonsense at all.

If I were you, I'll improve my grammar first before going to international boards. For now, stay first in your local boards (I'm pretty sure that you're more comfortable to use your native language) while studying at the same time Smiley.
2430  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Matters on: September 14, 2018, 08:18:13 AM

So please, before you sermonize me that money is not everything or that money is no big deal...
Exactly! If you don't want to hear a sermon from others then don't do the same. Do not strongly emphasize that "money is everything" like your pushing others to absorb it because first and foremost, each one of us got own perceptions about this matter so you should respect it.

Nevertheless, its's awesome because you are a practical and realistic person. Believe it or not, we have the same sentiment about this issue. I also see Money as one of the most powerful things in this world, I am not that hypocrite type to say that Love matters the most blah blah blah. With this, you can buy everything you wanted, it makes you famous instantly, and also makes you an influential person. What are you wishing for while having a life like that? Nothing Grin. But of course, I still do believe that money is the only source of happiness because as long as I can see people who are still smiling despite of their hard times with financial aspects of life then that's enough reason to conclude that MONEY do not run this world alone.
2431  Other / Meta / Re: Post images as Newbie on: September 14, 2018, 12:48:45 AM
Ok so why I see images here?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2737347.0

He has newbie status.

How did he do that?
Yup! He could post images despite of being a newbie because that's the privilege of becoming a copper member but of course you should first put a little amount of btc to have it. Here are the other details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote
2432  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Dedication needed to support crypto community? on: September 13, 2018, 04:00:06 AM
Not tolerating the abusive users here such as the shitposters and spammers, giving tips for the newbies and sharing the knowledge I already acquired from past experiences are also form of help. This is my way of showing care for others. I believe that it is not only beneficial inside our forum but also contribute somehow to the crypto world in general. Though my effort would be insignificant for others but if all of us do the same, then I'm sure that many will become enlightened and more productive resulting to an ideal place for all crypto enthusiasts.
2433  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How to get my BTC money refunded? on: September 13, 2018, 02:55:39 AM
I don't even know what a PTC site is.
NewLiberty and I have the same idea on what PTC stands for. Maybe OP invested to a faucet or HYIP where you can have a higher hashrate of earning (to earn faster of course) by depositing a certain amount of money. If my assumptions are right then sorry for him, because in this kind of cases, reclaiming money is nearly impossible.

@OP ~ Did you invested a lot? I hope not. Whether big or small, you don't have any choice but to forget it even how hard it is. Well, I guess you already learned a lesson from this so from now on you should become more meticulous in choosing the investment platform you're joining in or better stop it now and just engage yourself with crypto trading/hodling.
2434  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If you're still in crypto, what's your background? on: September 13, 2018, 02:00:40 AM
I think this is not the proper board for this one. This should belong to the Off Topic section so better move it.

Anyway, I'm a 5th year college mechanical engineering student which is graduating this year, Hooray Smiley. I know that cryptocurrency is much related with computer engineering but who cares. I'm proud to say that I'm the only crypto investor in our class (maybe even in the whole ME program).
2435  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MOST COMMON QUESTIONS [FILIPINO GUIDE] on: September 13, 2018, 01:09:08 AM

Q - Bakit hindi lumalabas ang larawan sa mga thread?

A - Kung ikaw ay newbie pa lamang...
You are right but that's not the only reason. Another reason why the image you uploaded didn't appear despite of having a middle-ranked or high-ranked account is that you copied the wrong url. You must copy the direct url from the image uploading website (e.g. Imgur) you used.
Q – Maaari ba akong magkaroon ng ilang libreng bitcoin?

A - Sorry pero hindi...
That's right too but advising them to go through bitcoin faucets is not a good idea at all simply because it such a waste of your time and effort. In short, it is inefficient way of earning crypto. Much better if they will engage with long term investment to btc as a start of their crypto journey.
Q - Pwede pa ba akong gumawa ng bagong account kahit nabanned na ako dati?

A - Maipapahintulutan ka lang magpost sa meta para magpost patungkol sa iyong hinaing...
Actually, this act is called ban evasion and not tolerated here in this forum. Check this out, number 25 in the Forum Rules:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.msg7955645#msg7955645.

So for the future evaders out there, be fearful Grin.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it really mean that someone who hardly hodls does not believe in a project? on: September 12, 2018, 11:09:15 PM
I am a total HODLER but not because I have 100% trust to my alt but because I don't have any choice, I think risking it 'til it skyrockets is the best option to do thought its not all I wanted.

I once bought $1 worth of ETN on its crowdsale last year and remain waiting until now hoping that it will soar high. But I guess there's only a small chance that it will do come true. Actually, I already admitted to myself long ago that I'm not yet preapared for dealing not so famous alts that's why it seems I almost forgot about it. Well, it's just a small amount of money so there's nothing to whimper for Grin.

I learned an important lesson after all, you should attained two vital things to achieve success: 1) Make sure you have the knowledge and skill in trading, and 2) Choose the right coin. So for the hodlers out there, do not only listen to what you are believing because being too ambitious might get you blind. Learning to "dump and never turn back" or to cut loss is somehow a good decision (but still depending on the current situation of course)
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will become zero value? on: September 12, 2018, 10:22:22 PM
Who said that Ethereum will drop down to zero? (Yeah, very obvious that is you). But you know what, I understand your fear of losing and actually this is quite strange for me because I got used to eth having green arrows as well when btc rises. Nevertheless, there's still no need for worrying. It's just a .77% drop not even half of its price Grin so do't be stressed out. Eth is preceding next to the king remember that, it will not easily fall as what you think of Smiley.
2438  Other / Meta / Re: Selling Bitcointalk Account -SCAM on: September 12, 2018, 01:29:47 PM
I feel pity for your "friend" but well that's what he deserves for being opportunistic (seems primari6 because of money) Grin.

Actually, there is nothing wrong if you are joining signature campaigns as long as you're not acting like a cancer cell here inside and work really hard from the beginning 'til you make it there. But saying that you coming from nowhere will buy an account to just earn as easy as 1-2-3 and don't care at the essence of this forum and cryptocurrency as a whole, I am definitely against with it because it's really unfair for the others.

Tell your friend to find another means of earning money, not here in the forum. But if he really insist then tell him to start from the very beginning, study and experience what we encountered — there is no shortcut for success.
2439  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Rises Into Philippines Towards Legalization of Crypto Exchange on: September 12, 2018, 11:09:43 AM
I noticed lately that good news for the Philippines regarding cryptocurrency adoption keep coming and one of these are the entrance of crypto exchanges in the market including this one Smiley. I'm sure that this will be beneficial especially for all the crypto investors of our country and our economic status in the long run.

I just really hope that this kind of news could bring a positive effect (somehow) on our current situation where all of the commodities' prices are increasing (in short, inflation) and weak dollar-peso exchange rate, which sad to say, happening simultaneously.
2440  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LoadCentral.ph - buy eload and epin using Bitcoin on: September 12, 2018, 03:00:57 AM
para saken mas maganda pa rin ang coin.ph after ko mag transactions ng load ...

No doubt sir janvic31. Di hamak talagang mas maganda ang coins.ph kasi malaking kumpanya yan at matagal na sila ....

I admire you for being honest and humble to admit that coins.ph is better than your service. That was good in a sense that you are not biased at all and never attempt to impressed your prospective buyers by saying false promises, props to all of you Smiley. I knew that it's hard to compete with coins.ph since they already established a good reputation throughout their own journey but don't give up and strive harder.

Actually, may nakikita naman akong advantage nyo sa coins.ph. Mas marami kayong option for payments compare sa kanila which is DASH and LTC. Tsaka ang pagkakaalam ko ay hindi pwede direct na ipambayad ang XRP, ETH at BCH sa pagbili ng load sa coins.ph. You should convert it first to BTC or PHP before availing (correct me if I'm wrong). Use these things for keeping inspired and improving further Smiley.
