2421  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex continues to fucking suck, despite Circle buying them (14 day withdraw) on: April 13, 2018, 06:13:06 PM
I've been waiting on a "Pending Approval" withdraw for 13 days now.

I've had a support ticket open for 13 days without a single reply.

Super frustrating.  You would think with Circle buying Poloniex out, that Poloniex would start to suck a little less.

Fucking trash.  Canceling my whole account once I receive my coins.

And the bold part is the best decision to take. I cannot imagine my funds hanged somewhere for a whole 13 days and there is no hope in sight whether there is fault somewhere causing the delay or there is need for any form of verification or confirmation just a total silence. The excesses of Poloniex is one too many that didn't even abate with the new management team coming on board by way of acquisition. It's time yo ditch and wait for them to sort themselves out.

I'm so fucking annoyed with myself for trying them again.

They hung some funds up in January for me as well... took forever to get sorted out.

I'm not going to let it happen again.

PS: Still no funds or response
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: April 13, 2018, 06:10:39 PM

Ponzis are based on someone's promise of payout out... no one is paying out here like that.

The "promise of a payout out" is the PoS generated "free Clams." which aren't free because as you just described you need to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in order to get a single one.

BTC isn't proof of stake for one. Since its PoW, BTC doesn't offer anything for "free."

There is no "promise"... there is as much promise on staking clams as there is for mining Bitcoins.  You might spend a million bucks on a Bitcoin miner and get nothing.

I personally like PoS much more than PoW because at least the focal point of the economy.  Bitcoins focal point isn't only coins, but fucking mining equipment that is next to worthless & becomes outdated a month before the company ships it to the individual.

PoS is much more company structured and you can sell your "miner" off without using the postal service, face to face swaps or whatever else is possible. You can also sell your miner in whole chunks or infractions.

and

Our savorier Smooth? BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!!! How dare you come before Sir Dooglusith and call this "Smooth" our savorier!

Fucktard.  Scram and let us spend out money mining cryptocurrency however we want.

If you owned Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin on May 12, 2014 then your address was given free clams.

There were 3,208,032 sets of 4.60545574 CLAM given away across on those three networks.

People would be MUCH better digging their free CLAMS than buying.... you do not have to buy this coins to become involved.

Ponzis are based on someone's promise of payout out... no one is paying out here like that.  You have no promise and you don't have to come play ball either if you don't want to.  The market is what the market is.  Anyone can contribute (if you can fucking stand to use these shitcoin exchanges).

Your free clams will be there forever... so if you ever "get it" then you can come on over. <3

Why Asia? Is it to get away from American regulators?

Asians are less stupid and lazy than Americans as a whole.

It is an odd one. If they're thinking of trying to dominate Asian markets that would be a big old task and they could throw infinite money at it and get nowhere.

2431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex continues to fucking suck, despite Circle buying them (13 day withdraw) on: April 10, 2018, 10:29:20 PM
Quote
When the Poloniex-Circle integration began in late February, together we faced a backlog of 159,000 customer issues. Over the past 6 weeks, we have resolved 76,000 of those issues and added 6 new agents to our support team. We have tripled the number of engineers working on our wallet infrastructure and streamlined the process for notifying engineering when technical support is needed.

This is promising.... I'm REALLY just hoping I get this fucking deposit before next month.
2432  Economy / Service Discussion / Poloniex continues to suck, despite Circle buying them (paid after 42 days) on: April 09, 2018, 10:23:27 PM
I've been waiting on a "Pending Approval" withdraw for 13 days now. (EDIT: Over 20 days now. EDITEDIT: Over 40 and customer support answer about 10 business days turned out to be bullshit.)

I've had a support ticket open for 13 days without a single reply.

Super frustrating.  You would think with Circle buying Poloniex out, that Poloniex would start to suck a little less.

Fucking trash.  Canceling my whole account once I receive my coins.

(Topic is updated with how many days it has been... fucking insane)

I would HIGHLY advice not to deposit on Poloniex.  This is a absolute fucking nightmare.

tl;dr:

EDIT:  I've received my withdraw today. 5/8/18 (took a little over 40 days and around 21 days after support said 10 business days)

2434  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Advertise] FreeBitcoins.com - Round 12 - 10 bid / 10 BIN! ICO & noob friendly! on: April 09, 2018, 03:53:16 AM
It was nice for small businesses when the minimum bid for Top was .001, only ICOs can afford big amounts for advertising. At least I could try and bid to get some slots heh
But yeah its business and you also want to make as much money/btc as possible Smiley just some feedback from my site!

Feedback is always appreciated.   Roll Eyes (lol jk <3 We are "small business" as well.)

I'm just tossing different ideas out into the pond and seeing how they come back as well.  Us (freebitcoins) using our owner banner space is really profitable at the moment as well and it gets better every week as I get ideas from everyone.

Next round I run... I'll be sure to include a .001 spot because I like the idea of bidding back n forth, but I think it becomes a problem when it bounces too hard like that.  If we were to scale from a .001 BTC start with a .001 BTC hop each bid... I fear it could be a clusterfuck.

This auction ends in 1 hour and 6 minutes!

Does anyone know what happened to the presstab chain explorer for CLAM?

Not sure.  I noticed in the Google search description of the CLAM website it said that there was a payment due.  I made that payment:

a0a8664206501713f40e1ed46852c8b551187ae73a9b3cc08b388069145073ec

"Clams's block explorer service expired on Mar 15 2018. To add another 3 months of funding to the block explorer send 0.00244152 BTC to 17L7awpjvxqFf649wGJ3kVMhF9H3osMPRQ · Contact presstab on bitcointalk to renew for a longer period of time with a lower rate."

I've paid the asking price <3

I'd like to inquire about a longer contract perhaps as well.

Respectfully,

BAC

I've not heard back yet... I'll message again.

Had a disk failure that took down my OS as well as many coin daemons. Getting things back up and running now. Having trouble getting any connections for clam. Does anyone have a list of nodes?

Edit: also... you sent bitcoin to a website that was down... by finding a bitcoin address on google and then were surprised that the explorer wasnt up and marked my account with a negative trust rating? WTH... lol you can take that off now. At this point just send me a refund address and I will just take clam off my site.

Um no... that isn't what I did.  I sent payment while your website was up and then your explore crashed.

I'll take my refund though: 1E5KzNmranaW1yyUxtyCbP32aF3NGvVxun

I left the feedback as a way to prevent folks from deposits into a broken website with an owner that is AFK.  You clearly aren't AFK and by your own words you "don't use Bitcointalk much anymore".  I thought I was pretty clear in saying what I was doing and the negative feedback was removed immediately after it was confirmed you're still around.

Edit: Refund received.

At this point just send me a refund address and I will just take clam off my site.

Sorry to see you go!  I'll have your website removed off Clamcoin.org shortly.

I didn't mean to get your panties in a wad trying to make sure no one double paid your website.  We can use every dollar we got on this side of the altcoin street.  CLAM isn't large enough to piss off good blockchain explores either... sorry about that.

i am in so disbelieve but i see my coins finally arrived thanks for the angel that gave them to me..

happy life good wishes and all, gl with the future with your company. wont spam for a while.

Congrats.

Poloniex usually works shit out, but holy fuck the wait... I have some CLAMS pending approval since Thursday now.

Thank goodness I'm not in a rush.
I think no one has trusted this exchange. The issue of deposit and withdrawal is a basic problem and they can not fix it?
Members will definitely run and look for other, more secure exchanges.

Do not risk your money in this exchange, move on and invest in other exchange.

This is the current best exchange for CLAM.

Hopefully the CLAM market will shift towards a different exchange in the near future.

I've still not received my CLAM or had support reach out to me... really hoping this gets settled this week.
