Indian openers struggling to even rotate the strike. Once in a while the odd boundary run pops up. The current RR is less than 4 and if this continues then India would not be able to set a target of 250+ runs. India has scored 59 runs after 14 overs. The first ODI between these two teams starts in just an hour's time. Shikhar Dhawan would be captaining the Indian side and I expect the team management to give Sanju Samson & Umran Malik a chance in the first match. India vs New Zealand and later today Sri Lanka is playing against Afghanistan. I'm waiting for the Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan match. As it is ODI, Sri Lanka takes the lead to win the match. However this is going to be something interesting. After a long ODI matches gives the audience the real cricketing experience. Because with T-20 agressive scoring makes match interesting, here agressive and playing to the situation is necessary. T20 is a completely different format than ODI. It is fast, agressive and full of ups & downs. Wherein ODI is a battle of nerves and skills. Newzealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. Shikhar Dhawan would be opening the batting with Shubman Gill. Umran Malik has been included in the squad. It would great to see him bowl 10 overs today. The stadium is full of Indian supporters and looks far better than the empty stadium when Australia and England plays against each other. |

Portugal beats Ghana 3-2 in their first group game of the Qater 2022 world cup. Portrayed actions evolved the game in the both halves. The G.O.A.T doing what he does best, which is scoring the opening goal for his country with additional of breaking and creating records. He's the player with the most MOTM in FIFA world cup and also the first player to score in five different world cup tournament. He's 37 years and already add more trophies to his gallery, only the World cup exceptional for him to add.
The last 30 minutes is where all the action happened. First it was Portugal who win the penalty and scored the first goal then in just a few minutes Ghana scores the equaliser. Portugal were completely dominating the match after that and they then scored 2 goals in quick succession. The last goal by Ghana happened because of bad defense by the Portuguese. Overall a good & exciting game of football. |

Uruguay was dominant in the first half but they were not able to score a single goal. I felt they missed multiple opportunities and some were so easy, if they had a star player. Although South Korea is struggling as seen in the first half I think they will come back very hard on their opponent in the second half. Uruguay is a favourite in this match but it seems they are not coordinating properly.

Cameroon are playing well, but so far Switzerland look a little better and they were lucky to get a goal...
No, Cameroon were good in the first half but second half they have been worst. They created numerous opportunities in the first half but failed to score a single goal. This match is over and as there is only few minutes left and clearly Switzerland will win. What I pity the most is B Embolo is from Cameroon who is playing his first world cup and who scored his first goal against his home country. |

I am expecting this match to be extremely competitive. You never know anyone of them can win today. Although the chance of Switzerland winning is pretty good but you cannot underestimate Cameroon. Another big shock in the world cup after Argentina it is now Germany. Germany are four times world cup winner and getting defeated in their first match in this world cup would hamper their confidence. They were doing good in the first half but in the second half Japan was a different team all together. I think the Germans underestimated the japanese and which resulted in two late goals.
I don't see this result as a "big shock", as Japan is a very strong team in football that usually manages to reach the round of 16 of the world cup. I believe that people are placing too much favoritism on Germany and forgetting that Japan is not "anyone", so I consider the result of Germany and Japan to be acceptable. I'm looking forward to Brazil's game, I hope he scores 7 goals like Spain did today  Considering the FIFA national team ranking & the past world cup records I felt suprised when I saw Germany getting defeated by Japan. I knew that the Germans would face tough competition but I never thought that they would get defeated in their opening match. I am waiting for the match between USA and Iran as in my opinion it would be very exciting and anyone team can win the match. |

i can't even believe that germany lost like that and just lost against japan, it's clear that germany is losing the reputation it had for years and that's due to the fact that germany doesn't have many good players playing in the big teams, in the team From Germany, for example, I didn't see many great players, and Japan, even without having the great players, managed to play better, and it's a case to say that Germany has no chance of winning the World Cup.

Half Time: Morocco (0) vs Croatia (0)
Both teams played to a goalless draw in the first half. There were several mistakes made by the Moroccan players in the first half which almost led to a goal for Croatia. In the 7th minute the throw-in came loose due to poor control, Kramaric almost made the mistake into a goal.
Then in the 16th minute the chance came from Perisic who almost scored when Hakimi made a wrong pass.
A good opportunity as well as a shoot on target for Croatia in the 45th minute or the last minute of the first half through Modric who took advantage of the rebound ball.
The second half has started, we will see what strategy the two coaches will do after in the first half they have found the weak points of their respective teams.
In my estimation, it was a fair first half. Croatia had a lot of opportunities in the first half but they lack a proper finishing. Modric was everywhere in the field and I was totally impressed with his play, although it was expected. The Moroccan side have to show more aggression in the second half if they hope to win. Kudos to the Moroccan goalie he made some good saves. I hope it is sustained. This one player was really quite good service throughout the first half and in the second half Luca Modric still continued his role on the field. It seems that Croatia coach Dalic has given advice to Brozovic and Kovacic to close the position left by Modric who continues to move to create chances. And finally Kramaric was replaced by Livaja. While the Moroccan midfield still couldn't control to make it easier for their attackers until the 70th minute. Game about to end and still score is 0:0 ,seems like this is going to be a draw . Both teams are playing aggressively and they both got many chances to score but failed in that. I felt both the team didn't even have the urge to win the match. Croatia wasted a lot of time deciding whom to pass and Morocco did not know what to do. A complete waste of time for fans of both the teams. Ball possession for Croatia was more than Morocco and still they were not able to capatalize. The next game between Germany and Japan would be full of entertainment and excitement than this game, I am confident of that. |

Hardik and Hooda were still batting when the rain had interrupted the match. If these two had form a partnership then they could have chased the target easily. If one of them had gotten out then it would have been hard to chase the target. I also think that India were aware of the weather condition and wanted to go ahead of the DLS score that was the reason they were going after the asking run rate. Hardik was batting well, but Hooda never looked like he was in good shape and struggled against the Kiwi bowlers. And if one of them get out, then the next to come was Harshal Patel, who is not very good as far as batting skills are concerned. And all the New Zealand bowlers were being tidy, perhaps with the exception of Adam Milne. So I would say that New Zealand had better chances of a win. But then, it is T20 cricket and fortunes can change in a very short span of time. No one can predict the outcome of this match with 100% accuracy. I also agree that the chance of Newzealand winning the match was pretty high. But, it is very hard to predict a T20 match as anything can happen. What I did not like is that one and half match got abandoned due to rain in this series. If all three matches were played without any abandoned then the result of this series might have been different as the Indian team was being experimented. |

During this season the matches need to be conducted in some other venues. India is more likely to win, but we can't be sure of it. India already lost 4 wickets and more 85 runs required to reach the target of 160 runs. If India have continued after rain interruption surely the wet outfield would've changed the match. I find the match scenario have moved in favour of India through the DLS method.
Difficult to predict such scenarios. 85 runs needed from 11 overs, with 6 wickets in hand and most of the top order and middle order batsmen were back in pavilion. The in-form Suryakumar Yadav was the last to get out and Hardik Pandya was the last recognized batsmen out there (not considering Deepak Hooda, since he is inexperienced). IMO, New Zealand could have won the match. Anyway, New Zealand need to focus on their bowling. Adam Milne is proving to be very expensive, despite his raw pace. What just happened?
Saudi Arabia never thought in their wildest dream that they would defeat Argentina in the world cup. This might be one of the biggest upset in this world cup. Messi magic did not work at all. A defeat by the Arab team might harm Argentina moral in the upcoming game.
What a win by Saudis they were in control of the ball throughout the second half. I felt they were more accurate in their pass and coordination than the Argentine team. Good to see a new country raising it rank in this world cup.

One of the worst performance by the England ODU squad in this bilateral series against Australia. They will lose the last match too and Australia will win this series 3-0. A complete whitewash by the Australian team. I hope the test squad of England doesn't perform inthe same manner. I am hoping to see some good entertaining test cricket between these teams.

What a disappointment one a half match got abandoned due to rain. I am confused why exactly these matches have been scheduled this time of the year. Do not know how many upcoming ODI matches will get abandoned due to rain. As per DLS today's match was a draw and India won the series. Bad luck for Newzealand they were bowling really well.

The last T20 match will be played today. Newzealand will be captained by Tim Southee as Kane Williamson because of a pre-arranged medical appointment. He is expected to rejoin the team ahead of the three-ODI series which will begin from Friday. Except SKY all other batters failed in the last T20 match. I hope most of them if able to bat do not repeat the same mistake in today's match. I am also certain that Deepak Hooda will get to bowl all his four over today due to his performance in the previous match. Newzealand would like to win today in order to draw the series and India would like to win today in order to win the series, expecting a entertaining T20 game between these two teams.
After winning toss New Zealand is on batting with good start for India Arshdeep take early wicket of Allen which is surely big one now Mohammad Siraj takes second one and after five overs New Zealand is having good start of 44/2 today they are playing without their captain Williamson right now Chapman and Convey on crease they need good target if they want to level the series after losing second T20i through SKY amazing batting. Look like today Convey is going to copy SKY but much behind as right now he is on 23 after playing 17 balls, hopefully things could be good for them if they are able to have nearly 180 runs on board because this could be good fighting target for the ruthless Indian batting lineup. @wiss19 it seems to me that New Zealand are taking a cautious approach in this game, because it’s almost the 10th over and they have scored just 68 runs. Furthermore I’m kinda disappointed that team India did not experiment and tried their bench player’s today, so does anyone else feels the same that this was a good opportunity and that the management should have taken a bold approach for this game by changing the playing 11?. The way Newzealand were going when Phillips and Conway were on the pitch I thought they will easily reach 180 or more. Then the Indian bowlers namely Arshdeep and Siraj brought India back and now the Indian batters have a target of 161 runs. In my opinion it will be not that easy for Indian team to chase this target if they rely solely on the performance of SKY. I feel the openers need to stay a bit longer and form a partnership rather going after the bowlers. |

Australia V England
The third and final ODI match between Australia and England will take place shortly after. Australia won the first two matches quite easily. And in the first two matches we saw England batting badly. If England's batsmen can't bat well in today's match then I don't see any chance of them winning. Because the Australian players are very confident today after performing well in the first two matches. If England wants to win, they will have to perform well.
It would be a shame for England to lose all the matches in this series against Australia. So today the players of England will try their best to win. But the players are not in good form, it is very difficult for them to win.
Australia has already won the series and hopefully would end up winning the last ODI too. Pathetic performance by the English squad. I cannot believe few days back they won the T20WC. At the end of 13th over Australia has already scored 81 runs and have not lost a single wicket. The CRR is more than 6 at the moment and if they are able to maintain it till the end of 50 overs then Australia will easily set a target of more than 300 runs which I presume would not be easy for the English batters to chase. |

India finally managed to make a good target of 191 ,what an outstanding batting by Suryakumar Yadav 111 runs just 51 balls . What a fine batsman he's, now it's Newzealand turn and they will definitely have tough time in chasing target . Right now they are on 53 for 1 wicket RRR is 12 so this seems like a win for India.
India wins whenever Suryakumar Yadav is performing since his debut he is one of the most consistent performer in the team. India won by 65 runs and India does perform in bilateral series but during ICC tournaments they always fail to win the tournament. Rishabh Pant was sent to open the innings and i had my expectations to be the next Adam Gilchrist from India to take advantage of the power overs and he failed miserably once again as an opener  . The selectors should accept the fact that Rishabh Pant is more of an ODI and Test player than a T20 player. It looked like Suryakumar Yadav was literally batting on a different pitch. His strike rate was 217 and the next 21 batters SR in this match were averaging just above 100. That was a shocker! Pant batting at the top order is a nice move due to his gameplay, just give him 5-6 matches if he fails then others are waiting in line. SKY is the only batter who has scored two centuries in a T20I match within a year. Lockie Ferguson looked so helpless when SKY started going after him. The poor guy tried every available option in his last over against him but everything failed. If it was not SKY then India would have given a target of Max 150 runs. Good thinking by Indian team management in promoting SKY on the batting order. |

India bowlers dominating the second session with great success. The game is slowly drifting away from Newzealand and in just couple of overs India will win the second T20 match. Very clever captaincy by Hardik Pandya, created pressure using the spinners and letting the Newzealand batters take unwanted risk resulting in the loss of their wickets. 192 runs target did gave india a psychological advantage which also is responsible for the failure of Newzealand team.
