However, no one was able to contribute much with Surya Kumar. He had done alone in the last match. Even the Hardik Pandya batting has noticed some changes. Since he is now the captain of the Indian team, he must be responsible for the responsibility. However, I would like to have this continuation of their victory in the upcoming match.

In fact, both teams have a lot of talented and experienced players in their squads for the T20 format. And so there is no reason to think that New Zealand will be defeated in the second match as well. India won the first match very easily. But apart from SUryakumar, no other batsman ever played well. If India's top order performs this badly in the second match as well, it will be difficult for them to win. On the other hand, I do not trust the Indian bowlers. Their performance in the World Cup was poor. But they played brilliantly against New Zealand. But there is no guarantee that they will do well in the next match.

Pakistan have better bowling squad which is an added advantage. India lacks bowling and most of the time it looks like an one man army. In this match if Suryakumar Yadav have failed to score, what would've been the situation of India. In one way Pakistan and India can be compared, dependence over particular players. Failing in performance from those players will make the team loss badly.

He should be but management must give him a long rope at the top order as it suits his batting in LOIs, for tests he's already one of the best in the middle order but IMO He's pretty much useless in the middle order as far as T-20 is concerned.

If management still treats him as a middle-order batter in the T-20 (to some extent, In ODI it's okay) then it would be good to drop him from the squad. On KL Rahul, well he was an exciting middle-order batter but Sikhar Dhawan's injury in ODI WC gave him a chance and after that, he got f#ucked and he returned the favor by f$cking team India with his batting. He's actually beautiful to watch when on a song but with the kind of bench strength India has for the top-order batters, he doesn't deserve a spot in T-20, even in the squad. Rohit is getting old now and his fitness is bad so not much hope for his T-20 career. In ODI and tests, he still has a future and at least 5-10 more beautiful 100s are waiting for him.

As far as the series is concerned. It's a testing ground for both teams, especially India.

I can't fully agree with you because if you see the ranking of icc t20  you will see that India is on the Top position on it on the others hand Pakistan at the 3rd place . India's advantage is that their player pool is so huge. They can send their 3rd or 4th string team, and still win matches against the top teams. And that is not the case with teams such as New Zealand. Some of the smaller test playing nations even have the same squad for different formats. England is the second best when we talk about player pool, partly due to their strong county system. But even their performance has gone down recently and are struggling to compete against teams such as India.

Totally agree with you because if we watchout Rohit and Rahul
Performance in opening batting they has absolutely no comparison they are strong and attacking player his performance against Pakistan in Asia Cup is strong example where they score more than 50 runs in starting 5 overs which is quite fine. So pant has to prove himself in these matches in order to get select in squad , not in opening but in middle order.

Performance in opening batting they has absolutely no comparison. So pant has to prove himself in these matches in order to get select in squad , not in opening but in middle order.

Defiantly India need to try someone other then KL for opening slot. KL throughout the last WC and in Asia cup struggle to score runs. India batting is not an issue then have issue with there bowling. Right now only recognized bowler is Kumar. They need to bring in more pacers to the team.
