2421  Economy / Gambling / Re: Telegram Betting group : Proven Winning tipster on: January 13, 2021, 03:34:32 PM
Random guy offering "betting services" for free. I would be very extra extra careful when joining that group. He probably won't charge anything for his "service". After getting enough people he might ask for a "small" fee. Once people get comfortable with him, he might start asking for money from people to bet on their behalf.
As long as you are playing those bets, don't have to pay for anything and are able to use your brains, then join that group. Or else don't!
2422  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla overtake Amazon? on: January 13, 2021, 08:18:17 AM
Elon Musk becomes world's richest person, Tesla becomes world's most valuable.

I have seen this news on Bloomberg and I think it’s about four days ago that Elon musk became the world’s richest man. But, yesterday I saw another news on Forbes that he has dropped from the first position after losing about 14 billion dollars value; this is what I saw on Forbes and I know whether this is true or not, but we all know very well that Forbes is the source that most people relies on for information like this.
-snip-
Yeah, it was true for a short period of time. This probably happened when the stock price dropped by 8% making him lose around $13 billion few hours before the news was published.  He is once again the richest person taking over Jeff Bezos when tesla stock already rebounded.

Anyway, this isn’t really a type of news that I like to follow, I really don’t have the time to care about who is the richest and who is the poorest man in the world, it really doesn’t make any sense to me lol.
You would follow and care if you were into stock trading. Looks like you aren't. Following them helps you to know what's going to happen next on the stock market. Like look at the wrong "signal" (signal advance) stock market lol. It just skyrocketed when Elon wanted people to Signal messaging app.
2423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you day trade with bitcoin these days while it is full of stress? on: January 13, 2021, 08:04:48 AM
I don't know why most people enjoy the heavy rise of bitcoin while it is only good for long term holders. How long do they want to hold? Forever? They have to sell at some point and exit the market. For day traders like me, expensive bitcoin is not attractive at all because it not only reduces my profit, it also increases my stress.

I have to buy at $40.000 and sell at $40.200 to gain daily profit (This is an example). This is much less profitable than when I used to buy at $8000 and sell at $8200 the same day. Apart from this, whenever I buy at $40.000, I am worried about a big crash right around the corner because the prices are too high now.

How do you cope with this situation as a day trader? Do you dare to buy $40K bitcoin for short term trading?

When you buy at $40,000 and sell at $40,200 you make $200 profit. When you buy at $8,000 and sell at $8,200 you still make $200 profit. How is this less profitable? In fact when the price is high, the price rises (or drops) are significantly more. When you see a 1% increase, you will see higher rise when the price is high. But yeah the loss is also more. But you don't make any loss as long as you don't sell!
The stress should be a bit more when the price is high since its risk to do short term trading when the price is high. But those who know the risk are probably less stressed about making a loss.
2424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Debit Card (internationally available) on: January 13, 2021, 07:37:27 AM
Hi,

I know of bitpay but it is not supported in my country (UAE) also same goes with crypterium (cant seem to get past the sms notification section)

same goes to crypto.com and binance unfortunately,

any other REPUTABLE alternatives providing a prepaid visa/master card which can be topped up with my crypto (accepted globally in ATMs etc...)

thanks,
I thought you represent Ibandirect based on one of your post or were you just advertising for them?

(Banners can be found in the “Referral Program section” in your own Ibandirect account)
Looks like your company does offer virtual credit cards. Why not use them? Or are you just trying to find out what other services are out there. In that case, use google lol.

AdvCash may be working for you, but you'll have to do some research yourself (including the fees, which are not all of them listed and visible). I didn't find UAE in the prohibited countries list from the FAQ.
Also they use to be quite active on this forum too, hence you can ask them about UAE.
Didn't know they started offering plastic/virtual cards again. The last time I checked they had some problems with their providers and was offering to only EU regions.
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 12, 2021, 08:43:41 PM
Not really. I have witnessed all those volatility for years, so I am already pretty much comfortable with all those drops. But, I have seen and heard storied about people who starts panicking when they see the price drop. Slight fluctuation creates a huge stress for them. They become nervous when they see a sudden huge drop. And then they finally break. They sell at loss thinking its not worth the "risk".
Unfortunately, if they had patience to hold, they could have made profits. But we can't blame them. It is how their mind and psychology works.
2426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: January 12, 2021, 09:22:20 AM
More like don't buy if you can't afford to lose. You can invest as much as you want, and sell whenever you want as long as it won't hurt you if you make a loss. Another thing, if you do plan on holding, keep a fixed goal of profit. Once you reach that goal, take your profit and then make a new goal.
And yeah, patience is very important in this case. If you don't have patience and "overthink" a lot, crypto currency investment isn't for you!
2427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Read this before doing any investment on: January 12, 2021, 08:59:33 AM
I am sharing few steps by which you people can minimize you risk and can get better return.

1 It's mandatory that before doing any investment you must to your own research about that

2 If you don't have much knowledge about crypto market then you can go with top alts, but if you want to get maximum return then should go for new project which have some potential(but you should  have strong fundamental analysis for this ).

3. According to me this is one of the most important thing, that rather than investing in a single token we should go for multiple token, By doing this you may get less return but chances of loss also decreases.

As we had seen in case of xrp
No one knows what will happen so,

DON’T PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET

All the best for this year
Some of the things you have said here are just common sense. But people still fails to follow those.

1. Sadly some people just looks at the market and see "how much it is rising". If they see the coin is going up 5x, they think they have got the perfect coin to make quick profit.

2. Almost all of those new projects are worthless/scam. You are saying the opposite thing here.

3. Investing in one good token is better than investing in multiple shit tokens.
2428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: January 09, 2021, 03:56:26 PM
Oh yes it does. Look at dogecoin. It was just a joke/meme coin when it was made but it still has a community. Even Elon Musk is in love with doge coin lol.
Memes does help a coin to go viral. Not only coins, memes help literally everything to go viral. I mean a new meme comes out featuring a song that no one has ever heard of and boom... The next day everyone is listening to that music and has thousands of views in YouTube. Never underestimate the power of meme media. Though most of the  time, the fame is short lived but gives enough time to boost their presence.
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now? on: January 09, 2021, 03:41:34 PM
The XRP price has been insanely unstable the last few weeks ever since the SEC lawsuit emerged. Prices dropped from $0.6 USD to almost $0.2 USD and ever since been fluctuating between $0.2 USD to $0.3 USD.
Would be a huge risk if you wish to invest in XRP right now since the future of XRP is unknown. If SEC proceeds with the lawsuit, pretty much sure the price is going to tank even more. I have read somewhere that it would make XRP totally useless since as no one will be able to trade it or something.
2430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling on real gaming equipment: Testing technology on: January 09, 2021, 03:24:56 PM
If investors are gamblers who hide their money from their passion for gambling, then the value proposition of our project is completely irresistible for them. Saving money that would otherwise be lost at the casino!
Project looks interesting. How is the project going after a year? Still in test phase? Didn't visit the site, but looks like real slot machines are going to be connected over the internet and people can play it, right? In that case, how can people proof that it is a "real" slot machine and the machines aren't rigged? If you guys are really legit, make a business model and approach investors. Some might be interested.
By the way, what's the difference between a live casino and this one?
2431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 09, 2021, 03:04:07 PM
-snip-
I only think that if I prove fairness, that can consume my time instead of playing gambling in my free time. And I will end my time just to prove fairness without enjoying the games. That is not what I want in my free time.
Checking if your bets gave the right result is not a time consuming activity. It takes like seconds I guess. Most of the casino will have a short and easy to understand tutorial which you can follow and verify your bet results. They allow you to do so directly through the casino and also by using any third party sites.
Why should I prove the fairness of games? I trust the casino will not cheat other members or me. As long as you play gambling on a reputable casino with a good reputation, you don't have to prove fairness. But you can try to prove fairness if you want to make sure that the casino is really not cheating on their members.
Some user when they lose can't accept the fact that they lost everything. So its not about the reputation of the casino, its more about psychological peace. Some people even take it as a last hope to get back their money by trying to prove that the casino is rigged (even though it isn't).
2432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is FOMO why people interested in FOMO on: January 09, 2021, 07:47:01 AM
FOMO which stands for fear of missing out is more like a psychological thing. It is where when people feel like if they don't take an "action" they are about to miss an opportunity. This mainly happens when they start seeing the price skyrocketing and start taking abrupt decisions. Also happens when they see the price dipping. Usually FOMO leads them to a disaster. When they start investing because of FOMO, they end up losing everything. FUD and FOMO is one of the key factor that causes a "crazy" market!
2433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold out my satoshi on: January 09, 2021, 07:26:15 AM
Having no other options, you had to sell it. So there is nothing to regret about it. It is not like you sold it because you feared that the price is going to crash. Looking at the price and feeling contrite about it won't get you anywhere. If you can afford to invest now and plan to hold long term, then start all over again. It is never too late.
Once again, if you can't afford (don't have enough savings or liquid money), then don't invest! Or else you will be facing the same problem all over again.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 09, 2021, 06:32:42 AM
We can't conclude on the ath of bitcoin. In no time the growth could happen as well as corrective changes will happen. As the market is manipulative people with large volume of holdings tend to manipulate the market. This time it hasn't happened, maybe the network isn't supportive for the same. Every day Bitcoin is making a new history, and I expect the same to be carried forward.
Anything you say here doesn't make any sense. I guess you meant the market is "volatile" not manipulative. And would be better to stop spreading fear by saying that the market of bitcoin can be manipulated by someone holding large amount of coins. It is not as easy as you think to manipulated the market of bitcoin. If it were some random altcoins, then yeah, it would have been easy. But in case of bitcoin, it is not. Sure, they do get manipulated a bit, but the price quickly gets corrected.
The current rise is not from manipulation, but due to high interest of various large scale companies in bitcoin.
2435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin has the most investment value in the cryptocurrency field? on: January 08, 2021, 09:45:05 PM
From the coinmarketcap, we could see lot of coins and tokens listed on daily basis. Some have potential to give investors good returns while some are just shitcoins that drain one hard earn money. This year is anticipated to be a bullish year for crypto, what is the best crypto you will stockpile outside Bitcoin.  before the closed of the first half of the year.

Not some, like literally almost all of them are shit coins. Only few of those listed coins are actually worth something and has real use cases. Again, you will see other coins that are clone of the current coins having nothing new to offer. I consider those coins as a scam coins. Don't even bother looking at the market capitalization. Some shitcoins have good value, only to make an exit scam soon.
Don't go looking for coins that has "investment value". Look for coins that have potential and invest in those. You will make profit.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can reduce our chances of loss on: January 08, 2021, 09:41:29 PM
I am writing this specially for newbies

Rather than investing in a shit coin to have 2x 3x profit within a day,If we invest in the top alts when it is in the Deep, then it can give a good profit.
Specially in a case of newbies, they always run behind 2x or 10x profit and in maximum cases they loose their money , but my friend's 10-20% profit is also very good.
And please don't enter in market when everything is pumped,if you miss this opportunity then wait for the other one.

So what does this "in the deep" means? You mean when the price crashes or when the price is undervalued? Two different meanings over here.
But yeah, sadly those people look for making quick profit. They don't care what coin it is. If they see that the price is getting pumped crazy, they invest in those and try to make some quick profit. Only very few people are able to make some profit while most of them loses everything.
If you hold well known coins for long term, you will be making more than 10%-15% profit. But, you know, people are greedy and they don't have patience.
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regret in cryptocurrency investment? on: January 08, 2021, 07:18:55 PM
obviously i also made the wrong investments having bought edo (now pnt) and not having sold them at 2.20 $ now they are at 0.30 $, having bought jrt and not having sold them at 0.20 $ now they are at 0.07 $ and obviously having sold ethereum at 400 $ and not having waited long enough, obviously no one can predict the future and mistakes are part of this world and i have to accept them
So you regret buying shit coins and not selling them while buying "legit" coins and selling them? Lol. I am pretty much sure you invested in those shit coins so that you can make some quick profit. Didn't work out as you planned I guess. Never heard of those coins that you have mentioned. It is probably those coins are used for just pumping and dumping. The developers keep on pumping the price and once people starts to invest and make the price go higher, the developers start dumping it.
Make sure you invest in coins that are well established and has good reputation. In long term, those coins will always yield profit!
2438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fraud on: January 08, 2021, 03:44:09 PM
Thanks for the replies!

I can provide more context -
I have transferred BTC, over multiple transactions, from my Binance account to a BTC wallet on a fraudulent exchange website. I realised that I've been scammed when
- I wasn't allowed to withdraw any further from my account on the fraudulent website (though initial small withdrawals succeeded)
- asked to pay 40% of my assets' worth as personal income tax(!)
- another account created on that website (for verifying) ended up having the same BTC wallet address

I have the TxIDs in case they could help in any way. When reached out to Binance support, they just mentioned they couldn't help since the destination wallet address is outside their platform. (Binance is not regulated in my country, but registered)

Wondering what options I have.

Not sure if sharing the fraudulent website here is common practice (could certainly help others!)
You moved your coins from Binance to another exchange which turned out to be a scam, right? If so, there is nothing much you can do. Your coins are lost. You can report it to your local authorities but I doubt they can do much about it. If the amount is significant, it won't hurt to give it a try.

1. The initial withdraw succeeded because they wanted to gain your trust.
2. Lol, that's bullshit. Why will you pay them tax?
3. Scam confirmed.

Like I said, nothing much you can do other than being very careful the next time. And yeah, please do share the name of the website.
2439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find best Airdrops? on: January 08, 2021, 08:06:41 AM
Don't waste your time looking for airdrops. You will just collect dusts that are worth nothing at all. Remember, those coins or tokens are given for "free" to everyone. Chances are the value will be really low. Even if you collect those, dump them as soon as you can to get the best value since this is what everyone does. The more you wait, the lower will be the price. There are some coins that ends up being somewhat valuable, though finding airdrops like those are extremely rare.
Stop collecting shit coins and start investing. Or at least spend your time earning those coins by offering professional services.
2440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should newbies pay attention to when trading with virtual currency? on: January 08, 2021, 07:41:54 AM
The first thing they should do is learn about the market! A lot of new traders jumps into the trading market, invest thousands of dollars and loses everything. Eventually they end up frustrated and quits. This all could be avoided if the user at least tried to learn the basic. Basics can be learned by investing few dollars. Start trading small with those few dollars. You will make mistakes while gaining experience. Learn from those mistakes and try to avoid them. Get familiar with different situations and eventually you will be ready.
There are lots of threads over that provides/guides newbies to the trading world. You should probably read those. Might help you.
