2422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if Satoshi Returned ? on: May 12, 2016, 02:10:30 PM
Nothing special except if he start selling the bitcoins that he might have (which i believe that are millions of bitcoins) by this the price of bitcoin will be go very low comparing with the actual price, i saw a suggestion from theymos to destroy satoshi's bitcoins but it's not a good idea.
selling bitcoin?are you kidding me?i think if satoshi return,he will not sell any coins, because he already done it on last 2 or 3 years ago, they have many profit for sell bitcoin in higher price than now. i guess if satoshi return,he will explain why he hide and so mysterious.
2423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Civil War on: May 12, 2016, 01:56:43 PM
I don't understand the choice of people here as it does not make sense (as I've watched the movie < 12 hours ago). I don't even recognize some of these faces, mind listing them all?

2424  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: May 12, 2016, 01:51:41 PM
Who here doesn't care what happens with bitcoin as long as you can use them to make money, all the other drama doesn't really matter right?
All I care about is getting that $$$$ in my hands at the end of the day, everything else is irrelevant
so many people still not care about bitcoin, they have many reason why they not interest on it,lack knowledge about bitcoin, and anonymity of bitcoin are some of reason why people not care and not use bitcoin, and i'm sure several person here care about bitcoin because it can use for earn money.
2425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why arnt we seeing more bitcoin ATM popping up? on: May 12, 2016, 01:49:05 PM
Honestly, I haven't seen any BTC machine in my country, much less had the need to use it. Maintenance would surely be an issue because of the operating costs associated with it. If it ain't a necessity and people are not looking for it, why bother having one?
where do you life?i have same situation here,i know in my country have some bitcoin ATM,and its sound great when i first time know about it,but until now i dont see people talk about bitcoin AM,and look like not enthusias with this, yes might the problem is cost on maintance and distance.
2426  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need a new Dice site. on: May 12, 2016, 10:50:33 AM
I don't know where this thread belongs, in here or in project development but ill post it here.

I've been interested in BitCoin dice games longer than I've been playing them, I like the original kind but sliders, the names and the fact that they didn't use Dice still annoy me.
Then i found Pokcetdice. Im tired of that too, rolling the numbers 1-6,No more of that!

We need a site that used two d10 dice, and replaces the ten with a Zero, just to make things interesting! Rolling a win isn't enough, there need to be more combinations to roll even if that just means more ways of rolling most numbers.

Its probably the least worst ideas you can get for a new dice site,  It doesn't matter to me who takes it and uses it, in my mind i want to play it, now!
is pocketdice legit and fast?never hear about that site before,so many dice site has been announced here, and some of them very good,if you want to try another dice site, just check one of many better dice site like primedice, fastdice and many more.
2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: May 12, 2016, 07:34:50 AM
The biggest issue with bitcoin, ie why it hasn't reached household adoption yet, is that it's just too damned hard for the average bloke to use without a good reason. If you can understand how to use a wallet, that's half the battle, but most people don't take cyber security seriously enough to entertain holding any significant value in bitcoin.  Unlike a bank, there is no fraud department to chat up and get your funds back. After that transaction hits the chain, it's gooone baby  Grin
if we talk currency,we can't leave that one "houshold" yes that was one of most important part of currency, people in this world not only young man,and any people who really know about internet payment, and this is will become bitcoin problem to spread to houshold and how to teach mom or another houshold person to use bitcoin.
2428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs sex workers on: May 12, 2016, 07:27:19 AM
Sex workers and the users needs bitcoin, they don't need to give they card identity to pay for porn/sex, otherwise bitcoin don't need sex and worker, it's need mass adopter.
another illegal activity need bitcoin as perfect payment, bitcoin with it anonimity will give so many benefit for activity like this, gambling, porn, terorist and another illegal activity  need payment like bitcoin, but its not the main purpose of bitcoin,i'm sure there are so many better and legal activity that need bitcoin as payment.
2429  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is not the currency of the people and likely never will be on: May 12, 2016, 07:20:32 AM
Well mate I agree that Bitcoin is not perfect in any way and it is still a 'niche' digital currency but my intention was not to state that Bitcoin is better than fiat in simple every day real life offline transactions because I am well aware paper money is still the fastest way of doing business at gas stations coffee shops etc. I meant to say that Bitcoin can be used as a currency when people see fit to buy stuff with it or pay for services. I am not forcing myself to use Bitcoin in unnatural situations just because I am a Bitcoin enthusiast - far from it.
of course honestly we will answer like this, answer that bitcoin is not better than fiat in offline payment, still become a problem for people to use bitcoin as simple as they use paper money, but dont you think this all only matter of time?i believe in future we have better technology, better economic and more comfortable to use bitcoin as we use paper money,i believe on it,hope its happen soon.
2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: May 12, 2016, 07:10:41 AM
IS there any Bitcoin Bank that really works like bank that provide interest for customer that available in this world?
i think not need long time for bitcoin to create their first time bank, full of operate with bitcoin as assets, but not this year, might it need more than 2 years for bitcoin to create it first own bank, and might blockchain will lead this technology.
2431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to store your bitcoins on a mobile phone? on: May 12, 2016, 06:48:32 AM
If I backup the keys onto my phone's sdcard, don't other apps have temporary access to that file before I delete it? I'm using a Micromax phone and I'm concerned that the phone contains pre-installed malware.

Is it better to just move the money to a wallet on my PC?
mobile phone or smartphone has become one of most secure devices to store your assets, bitcoin or other currency set up to safe and secure in your smartphone, its why almost all online wallet have good feature in mobile developer.

2433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: May 12, 2016, 01:09:41 AM
I just introduced earning bitcoins via Signature Campaign here in bitcointalk to a friend of mine and he was so inattentive. I don't think he is interested at all. Apparently, we have a local computer shop here whereas the gamers are playing and at the same time they earn bitcoins by faucets and posting here in forums.
great way to introduce bitcoin is tell people about bitcoin earning, not about what bitcoin was,yes its also work for me,i introduce bitcoin from the way i get it,like join signature campaign and other task, they will easy to understand,so they never think bad or negative about bitcoin.

2435  Other / Off-topic / Re: I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke on: May 12, 2016, 12:57:56 AM
well i have good news or bad news, this week i took out all my saving from my bank 3500 and bought some bitcoin

i now have a total of 6 bitcoins,

last night i bought 5 usb sticks and 2 waterproof boxes,  i put the box inside of the other box then the 5 usb sticks in the middle of the box,  afterwards i went into my backyard and dug a hole underneath the bird fountain,

i dug the hole almost 3 feet under. Then i buried it back and placed the bird fountain back.

The bird fountain has been in the same spot for many years so i am not worried about forgetting where i buried it, and grass doesn't grow underneath it.

so there we have it,  I buried a total of 5 bitcoins, i plan to keep it there for 20 years. The 5 bitcoins cost me about 2300USD

The 6th bitcoin i keep it on my cellphone and i plan to spend it online,

Now i only have 100 dollars left in my bank,  i am basically broke,  my whole saving gone!

Was this a bad idea?   after i buried it i was starting to feel like it was a bad idea,

i also did not put a hard password on it because i thought i would forget

but i wasn't planning on using my saving for anything, and the bank doesn't give me any interest for it,

i've never invested in anything , possibly because i don't have much money

anyways.. it's just money.. i'll save some more

i figure in the future, it might be way too expensive to own even 1 bitcoin,

i am now a proud owner of 5 bitcoins

this is my bitcoin story,

here are some pictures of the box and bird fountain, its not the exact ones that i own but similar

do you think its was a briliant idea?have you think about security of your 6 bitcoins?i think you should find better place to burried your bitcoin, becuase your spot might broken because earthquake Grin
and people mentioned about usb stick that not working if not used for long time.
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: May 11, 2016, 05:57:43 PM

2438  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is PrimeDice fair? on: May 11, 2016, 05:54:30 PM
I only rolled with faucets it gave but I'm not sure if I should Deposit my own BTCitcoins.

2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4 types of Gambling on: May 11, 2016, 05:46:14 PM
I have a theory that there are basically 4 types of gambling:

1) All Chance (highest risk): These are games that are basically all left to chance and no skill is involved such as dice or roulette.

2) Mostly Chance but some Skill: These are games like poker or spades where there is some skill involved but you are at the mercy of the cards dealt.

3) Mostly Skill but some Chance: These are games or sports where it is mostly the player's skill that controls the outcome such as golf or bowling where each player plays against the game with the opponent facing the same game independently and under the same conditions.  In these games you can't directly affect the opponent's performance.  Could also be true for a video games where you play against the computer and not head to head against an opponent.

4) All Skill (lowest risk): These are games where you play head to head against an opponent and can affect the opponent's performance and you both are playing under the same conditions.  These are games like chess and pool or sports like basketball.

This is just a theory on how risky betting is in some games or sports.  This doesn't include betting on sports or horse racing where you are just an observer.  What do you think?
Not sure all gambling game can use any skill, and i'm on first list,i'm 100% use chance, and just try my luck on gambling, have no skill,i have no strategy.
but,i'm sure people with good analyze and strategy will have better luck.
2440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: May 11, 2016, 05:43:49 PM
Think about people who are having thoughts about suicide
never hear about people who try to suicide because lose on gambling, but i'm sure some people ever to try this, when you lost anything because gambling, its hurt and you will think nothing gonna be fine again after that.
