But more likely that locked Russian reserve assets will be used for it. So what? You really comapre world 100 years ago and current things? Just because something happened between these countries 100 or 200 years ago it doesn't shows that Poland have intentions to invade Western part of Ukraine. It doesn't even make sense when Poland is giving to Ukraine billions worth hmanitarian and military aid. Anadolu Efes had a terrible regular season after being the champions last year but in the playoffs they were surprisingly good and after defeating Armani Milan 3-1, they qualified for the Final Four. It is not rather surprising actually because they have a good team and two big stars, after their regular season results I don't think anyone was expecting this. It is of course still questionable how successful they can be in the Final Four but as the last champions, we can still expect a success from them.
It's not something new - Efes had bad start of regular season, but eventually they started to play well and reached Final 4. What is surprising that Barca struggling against Bayern, we will have Game 5 tomorrow. Bayern on paper isn't something special, they don't have big names in their roster. If they will eliminate Barca, it will be huge sensation. Monaco - Olympiacos is another series which reached game 5. Games between these teams is great to watch and even Kevin Durant liked it. He was in game 4 and planning to attend Game 5 to support former teammate Mike James. Meanwhile Real didn't had any problems against Maccabi and won 3:0. |

Difficult to say these words for me, but well deserved. About Barca win tonight - finally. It looked that we can win confident, but that Mallorca goal in 2nd half didn't let to have calm ending. Good to see Fati back, I hope that this time it will be for long. And forgot to say it yesterday - probably it's time for me to stop backing Villarreal even when they play against bottom teams. They simply can't play in La Liga and Champions league a the same time and I'm surprised that they're still in fight for spot in UEFA tournament. the person who will most likely win the yellow cap in this round predicted four correct scores so far and all of them were 1-1 draws... yeah, someone actually had the balls to predict four draws  well done! 👏 And probably none of these 4 draws weren't big surprise, but yeah, you need to have some balls to predict four 1:1 draws in one round. |

Independence of Donbass and Luhansk, recognized by no one, backed just by Russia with their army in region. It's same like referendum in Crimea. |

I'm just reading about buway and LTU not getting good service for UCL, I'm shocked this is happening. Are you guys in Europe? I always assumed so since you seem to be able to watch games.
Yeah, from Europe. I think that if you live in big European country like Germany, Italy, Spain, or like Trofo who live in Balkans where sports is big thing, watching it isn't a problem, but all these services costs good money. In my little country sports coverage never been on great level. Just few years ago just some selected games from EPL, La Liga or UCL were shown on TV, so, they didn't left other choice than to look for illegal streams. Now with OTT services things is getting better, but there is lot of room for improvement. For example they give just 3-4 Bundesliga games with commentary each round, delay from real time is close to 1 minute and so on. I am paying for my internet (flat rate, 500/250 optic)+ TV all sports package about 50 EUR per month. That includes Sportsclub 1-10 and Arensport 1-10 which are local sports channels. I have most of the games from Premier League, all games from Serie A, La Liga and Croatian league, all games from Champions League and Europa League, most games from conference league. Also a lot of games from Belgium, Portugal and Serbia but those I am not watching.
Sportklub and Arenasport is good channels, I wish to have something similar in my country. I'm paying about 15 EUR for decent internet and I would have to pay about 20 EUR for subscription to get all sports included (TV3 Sport, Viaplay and Setanta), but I'm not satisfied with streaming services, especially Viaplay. |

I also hate that Europa and Conference league semifinals is played on the same time. Both Conference league semifinals were very attractive teams to watch, but West Ham - Eintracht were my first pick on priorities list. Leicester - Roma, 1:1 result probably resembles game very well. More or less it was game of equal teams. Feyenoord - Marseille it was awesome game, sad I didn't saw this game in full. Interesting stats - Feyenoord made 2 shots on goal, but somehow scored 3 goals, I don't know how they count stats  . Important Feyenoord win at home, but 2nd game is going to be great too. |

Damn, how good Eintracht is. After all, it's just mediacore Bundesliga team, but they kicked out Barca and now they had very solid performance away and win against West Ham. Before tournament not many saw that this team have potential to reach final.
Paid less attention to Leipzig -Rangers game, but from what I saw Leipzig were more solid.

As I understand today's games were rescheduled from previous rounds because I already had predictions left on it. I haven't changed anything today. How someone in right mind would predict Inter loss against Bologna or Fiorentina at home destroyed by Udinese 0:4. Only Atalanta draw was somewhat realistic, but definitely not 4:4. This is my main complaint of my current country of residence. There is NO English provider, just a local one. They want you to pay extra for Fox, which I wouldn't mind, if they showed every game (and not even UCL actually). AND they don't even have ALL the games, plus their broadcast isn't even the fastest (about several seconds more delay). The worse is sometimes you get the dreaded Switch version where they just run through all the games, and badly, when goals are already scored.
I went through this last years already, hunting IPTV shit and what nots... so sad there's no (legal) provider exists except these fools... I've been tempted for some time now to get an (not so legal) tv card/dish... Dazn arrived finally a few months ago but? Only boxing. Haha.
I understand your problem very well. In my country this season Champions league broadcasts moved from TV to streaming service and it's terrible. It's expensive, poor quality, not even Full HD, just 720p,half of games without commentary and these with their picked local commentators - better don't hear it. And on most important games it start lagging, so, this is why I always prefer traditional TV over streaming services. So, I don't have other option than to use some IPTV, so far it works well. If local services don't satisfy you, maybe it's worh to try something with VPN, DAZN for example. I remember from EPL thread hilarious mentioned that he use it. |

Interesting things happening in Transistria. It's likely that it was some kind of provocations from Russia side to justify potential invasion. It kinda reminds things in Crimea and Donbas 8 years ago where Russia justified their actions by saying that Russian populaton there was opressed. But I don't see which scenario with Transistria would be real. Attack Ukraine from Transistria? With 1500-2000 troops and mainly old stuff remaining from Soviet Union times? It doesn't sounds like plan. More likely that Ukraie would try to liberate this region. I think that Putin would like to open land way to Transistria through Ukraine, but it would be difificult, considering how much progress they made in over 2 months. On the other hand, can we be certain that Putin has showed his full potential? Russia is supposedly one of the largest military superpowers, while it appears that Putin is ahead in the war, he seems to be struggling, it took weeks to conquer Mariupol.
Nope, that's not their full potential. But they simply can't send whole their army to Ukraine and leave other regions uncovered. Then they would have to make martial law and announce mass mobilization, what would raise some questions in society about why this ''special operation'' have failed and haven't achieved initial it's goals. |

For Villarreal it was difficult to achieve positive result with parked bus. After all, they're not Atletico to defend that well. Even against Bayern they weren't so defensive. Things isn't over yet, but Liverpool is one feet in the final now.

Ukraine has been actively preparing for its attack on the Donbass all winter. There was a lot of talk about the possibility of a Russian invasion, but however, it turned out to be a complete surprise for Ukraine, NATO intelligence simply overslept it. IIRC, few days before inavsion, USA intelligence warned that inavsion can begin at any moment, on 23th February state of emergency started in Ukraine. And I'm not sure why you're saying about too small forces, when there was close ti 200k troops near to Ukrainian border. Putin’s famous long table, which has already become a meme, was used by him only for face-to-face dialogue with those politicians who refused to take a test for covid-19 to Putin’s doctors (apparently out of fear of giving Russia their DNA sample). This is a common precaution during a pandemic, if you have not forgotten about this word. Politicians who agree to and successfully pass this test are much closer to Putin, including direct physical contact through a handshake when appropriate. And lonng table is in action again . Damn what a game, it was difficult to expectsomething better. What a powerful start City had, in first 15 minutes they dominated completely, but later Real returned to the game. I would say that one of goals that Real conceded (4th I think) was Courtois mistake. It was his corner and he didn't even reacted.
And that Benzema penalty - you need to have lot of confidence to make Panenka in such important game.
At some moments it looked that City can bring quite confident score to Madrid, but Real was able to respond and with 4:3 score most interesting things is still ahead.

Serie A has good competition on both ends of the table but I can't say I enjoy watching Italian clubs play. There is just something missing there for my taste. My first choice is always Premier League or Champions league followed by LaLiga, Bundesliga and only then it comes to Serie A and my local HNL. I like to bet on Serie A with my staple both to score but I never watch the games  I have similar feelings, don't know exactly why. I rarely watch Serie A games in full, unless Milan, Inter and Juve is playing each other or there nothing to watch from other leagues. I can't say that I don't follow league completely like Ligue 1, but that long Juventus dominance and boring catenaccio in past played negative impact in my Serie A interest. Despite that in few recent seasons fight for title becomea thing again and it's not low scoring league anymore like it was 10 years ago. Probably Juve gonna loose 1:0 so I loose both my ticket and what is left of dignity in the pool.
I went with draw, I have nothing to lose on Superbru table, so I can go a bit will with my predictions. And offcourse, Juve won . |

We couldn't really say how much are dead on Ukraine's side. Only the Russians has the time to count their dead mean since they have this war in control. Ukrainian dead were even left on the roadside to rot. And the infrastructures that are destroyed are in Ukraine. If they want their country to be still like remains as is which they can pick up the pieces and resume back to where they are before the war, they could just go on with the peacetalks. Putin still offer the peacetalks afaik.
If Zelensky has care for the country he should be accepting the peace talk that Putin is offering. Its been two months, no one is going to go to Ukraine for war. Regret always happen after things are over but they can stop it while its yet not too late. They may even given opportunities after. Heck Russia has more gas and oil to offer to Ukraine if they make business instead. They may even help rebuild the country.
I think you confused something. Ukraine count their dead men, few weeks ago Zelensky mentioned estimate numbers of dead and injured, but they reasons not to give frequent updates about it. While Russia really leaves their dead troops to rot in fields and to be eaten by wild dogs, despite that they're saying ''Svoikh Ne Brosaem''. Porto 58 games undefeated run come to the end. Last time they lost league game on October 30th, 2020 and today they lost to Braga. It's new league record.Despite this loss, for Porto it's almost impossible to throw away title - they lead by 6 points against Sporting with just 3 rounds remaining.
By the way, last season champions Sporting also had just 1 loss in whole season. And in XXI century Porto were able to make Invincibles season 2 times already.

I have to disappoint you, but Imola is on calendar until 2025 at least . Yeah, this track isn't perfect for overtaking, but Lewis stuck behind Gasly is more Mercedes problem than track. I still prefer tracks like this instead of these fancy street circuits. We will see one of such tracks for the first time, Miami GP in stadium parking after 2 weeks. |

I would say that it's time to start thinking about upcoming season, it's not big difference we will finish 2nd or 3rd, but then I realized that with such perfromance we can drop out from Champions league spot. @Harko described our season very well - from terrible to good and then terrible again. After all, our biggest achievement is beating Real 4:0 in Madrid. Sweet, but meaningless in general. now that Real betis secured Europa League the 7th place in La liga will go to conference league. Bilbao and Villareal are the main candidates for that spot
Don't forget that Villarreal still can qualify to Champions league by winning this season Champions league  . yep, but let's be completely honest here, winning the whole thing? really now? I mentioned it more like possibility, rather than real thing, but you never know |
