BTW: Lately I've had this urge to ditch my smartphone completely, who wears an "ankle tracker" willingly when all you get on it is propaganda and useless notifications in return?  I've been calling these things personal trackers since the 90's. Almost never take one with me, it would be stupid to make a pattern and then break that pattern one day!  with cameras automatically tracking license plates, using any credit card or show any ID at any location they already have you pegged if they want. they sure know my favorite weed dispensaries lol the phone "tracker" has far far evolved beyond just tracking. I seem to remember this code was paid to be audited.
I was not one person writting a code, and code auditers are also humans and not super heroes that don't make mistakes. Bitcoin is most audited code ever and it still had many bugs that got fixed in due time. I am well aware of this and still want to know. I'd also like to see the code in question bur haven't looked at that codebase since 2014 do to the lack of documentation. |

I waited a couple of days after the news started talking about things and was worried I was going to be too late but while the stores were busy, they were not stampeded and there were plenty of goods on the shelf. I picked up one of those big packs from Costco which was more than enough to get my family through the rush. It was a few days later when the predictable calls to lockdown came and everyone entered panic mode while I sat on my couch metaphorically eating popcorn. 24HR Trading volume and transaction count are both up about 50% since I looked this morning. What news? I mean, about time, but why today?
No se. But the transaction volume is nuts. And the Fluffy news?? No press is bad press? I really don't know. But it is being used for sure. The volume is following it's normal weekly pattern, but has rocketed up to 2x what it was for a couple months (!) and in the midst of all time volume highs. I don't see why fluffy pony's news that is even unrelated to crypto as far as I know should have any impact on Monero. Even if you are an evil dude from an evil newspaper, coming up with a plausible connection between Monero being used for evil and Spagni having done some shitty stuff ages ago is quite an interesting effort I guess! I'm of the opinion TPTB thought they would get a nice dump on fluffy news and once they didn't it struck them that this is the floor, there are no weak hands left and all their fractional reserve dumping is about to come home to reap their ass. |
