2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: More good news for Waves and... on: September 14, 2019, 11:26:12 PM
Price doesn't show it.

Is cryptoworld dead?Manipulation?Accumulation? Huh Shocked

https://cointelegraph.com/news/alfa-bank-launches-bank-as-a-service-platform-on-waves-blockchain

I am sure Alfa-Bank shares price increased. They started crypto, that is in now. Same as it happened with Burger King shares when they issued a token Whoppercoin.  Oh the Whoppercoin was issued on waves. How is that working now two years latter? Any success?
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: demands on Ethereum on: September 14, 2019, 10:47:23 PM
Prominent Muslim scholars ...

I dont believe you can put scholars and religion in the same sentence. Are thsi teh same scholars that dont believe in evolution? The same that believe that world was build in 7 days?  LOL  Let them first figure those two things out and leave block chains for others to judge.

Bobby Lee Suddenly Makes $200,000 BTC Price Prediction

Who dont think that Bitcoin will ever be $200k is delusional. His prediction is in next few years what is most possible scenario. By far biggest chance fro that price for happen is 2-3 years from now.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 13, 2019, 06:42:31 PM
I forgot how it ended. Now when I watched again I had to make a screenshot of it:

2445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: September 13, 2019, 06:07:49 PM
Worrying is subjective.

The truth is, you don't know.

Exactly! We have no ideas how will this play 20 years from now. Considering that would be super dumb to have only Bitcoin and not having alternatives. To 20 years from now say: "Oh I wish I knew this back then."
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] Zcash Speculation on: September 13, 2019, 05:42:57 PM
After almost 3 years of constant price decrease ZCash managed to got to 600k sat. Where will this end? will we see 100k sat ZEC? Will we see similar story with Grin?
What is the reason for the constant drop in the price of Zcash in satoshi? I always thought that its price would rise in dollars and in satoshi, because this coin has a large community, a number of advantages and anonymity. But last year the price is only falling and it is not clear how the team plans to increase the popularity of the coin.

What community does it have actually?  There is Electric company that get 20% of mining reward. There are rich bitcoiners invested in that company. That is all. There is no community. Just a lot of money to spend for different employees.  Price decreases because there is still high emission inflation. It is 35%. And no use case to use this coin.

Meanwhile the drop continues

Is there any speculation where can this end? 100k satoshi?
2447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (Even Newer!: $2483 bottom 19 Feb 2021 MtGox said so!) on: September 13, 2019, 05:04:09 PM
CSW keep doing threats not only against bitcoin, but against the entire cryptospace. So the general dislike for him is not that irrational as you believe.

I understand exactly why people dislike him, and I understand why they think that is a rational position.
He is attacking every coin that isn't Bitcoin, because they are not Bitcoin. That's a massive threat to their "money".

Yes he also know Monero ZCash and Litecoin will cease to work until end of this year.  There is not much time left unless he was somehow wrong this time. How could he be?  Shocked

Do you have any internal information when will this happen? He said until end of 2019 that is almost ending. So his prediction/threath is dangerously close to fail. Is that even possible? Was he ever wrong so far?

Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX

What coins can you trade on first and what coins can you trade n second exchange? Can you list them please.
2449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: September 12, 2019, 08:07:10 PM
I understand the concept, I get it there will be lost coins because people die and their coins die with them so we don't want to end up with dry supply after 10 years?

But bitcoin will be having block rewards till the year 2140... I mean the supply won't dry off at all at least in the next 100-120 years.

What grin does is, taking it a bit further by removing the supply cap and let the inflation go forever.

But... if you think the block rewards from mining bitcoin wont be enough for the world population in 2100, how do you know if 1 grin per second will be enough?

Bitcoin will have very limited emission after 2040. Like 160000 BTC left to mine for next 100 years.  We mine that now in three months.
Everything that is around Gold mining emission is fine long term. Grin will have it over that in next 50 years so I am not worried to not be enough.
2450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bch - halving on: September 12, 2019, 07:28:01 PM
bch - halving

Miners will get less coins and those with old miners will stop mining.
2451  Economy / Economics / Re: Negative interest Rates around the World - Bitcoin as an alternative on: September 12, 2019, 06:54:52 PM

OK, where's the catch? Argentina's >30% can't be real.
Their inflation indeed seems to be around 50%, but I find it hard to believe that the actual interest rate can be at 86%. This must be either a short term thing, incorrect data, or banks doing exit scam.

Catch is that people dont trust Argentinian banks and rather keep their wealth in Gold or in foreign banks. That is why they offer good exchange rates for your money since they lack of it.   You see that people trust Switzerland banks most so that is why their interest rate is lowest.
2452  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto, Universal income and cryogenics the redistribution of wealth on: September 12, 2019, 01:07:02 AM
...

Because I'm tired to read about stuff to help the poors to get free money but nothing for those working.

Universal income will fix that. Also those that are working will get it. For everyone the same. For Trump the same as for the beggar. Both get exactly $xxx and not a cent more. That is the point. Right now some get a lot and most get nothing. In my country people dont marry just so they are single parent to get money from country. Now that will stop since all kids will get the same.

2454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: September 11, 2019, 10:46:52 PM
Re: My greatest crypto regret

I have no regret. If I would change some things on better. Lets say buy Bitcoin earlier or sell all in December 2017, I could also turn things on worse, so buy much more expensive and spend when price was low. Regretting things to have them perfect is waste of your life, since is impossible to make anything perfect.  Go play basketball right now on World championship then. You think you can do things perfect why cant you play basketball perfect then.
2455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: September 11, 2019, 09:09:46 PM
It looks Wall street dont like Bitcoin that much. Apparently is not that much interest. Hopefully just yet and not at all.
Based on what? The price that's going down? Bakkt hasn't done anything to promote itself as a price driver. No product, no actual sign of demand for physically settled futures, etc. The price shouldn't react to this.

The reason for the price not to go up much more is because we're stuck in a bearish pattern, and the fact that little to no fresh capital is entering the space (read; no influx of stablecoin inflation).

When Tether was printing tokens the price kept going up consistently. Now Tether's printing has almost stopped, so does the bullish momentum that we had. It seems that we're due for months of bearish price action.

It seems I mixed another ETF with BAKKT simply because they were one launched other starting whatever at same time.

2456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 11, 2019, 06:39:56 PM
If we are here to observe, iŽll do it..

I observe more blue each period.. more blue dots, and with a higher slope
I observe green and yellow dots having lesser slope..
and i observe less red dots each period..

so, my l33t TA skillz tell me to join the peaks and... hmm.. expect a 2000% by 2021 ?

Thats the best i can do. I just got meal and my stomach is having all the blood. My brain is idling.

So $200k.... I'm OK with that...

2000% of $3500 is $70k.  That is a bit pessimistic prognosis to me.

I posted this a month ago with all other talks that day of Monero Defcon27 Village. If I remember right slides did not work back then. So here is full presentation. For those that hang in this thread for years is nothing new, but fro those join crypto in recent years and new to Monero is a must see. Also a really good source to convince a skeptic why crypto and specially Monero is important.

Any plans to add more custom games like the blackjack you have?

You have other table games like roulette, poker, ...  under slots.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last 3 Months of 2019! What is your prediction about the Market? on: September 10, 2019, 08:34:09 PM
Last three months of the Year 2019 (4th quarter)is fast approaching! Do you think the market condition will be improve in the last three months of the year! are you still positive that the market will be gaining momentum to return its former status as it was before or just missing all the prediction in this year. drop your insight below!

Sideways. In 2015 we went sideways and at end corrected up. In 2019 we corrected up at start of year and end of year go sideways.
2460  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: September 10, 2019, 07:14:41 PM
The average personal amount of savings are between $ 2,900 for the USA and „ 5,806,554 for Japan. The USA comes last in our ranking, but their neighbor Canada is one of the richest countries regarding personal savings.

https://www.expertmarket.com/focus/research/countries-that-save-the-most-money

Problem is that whole Keynesian economic model is build to promote debt and punish savings. That is what governments did in last 50 years and more. Of course that people slowly took that as the truth and started doing same. Now with negative interest rates will be even much worse.
