We are only two days away from the El Clasico now. Maybe Barcelona have an advantage as they are going to play home. Roma, Union Berlin and Tottenham have lost their matches today. No Premier League team takes any Conference League match seriously. However, those of us who bet are betting on these teams and lose money. Roma has conceded six goals against Glimt today. I never imagined it. Union Berlin lost 3-1. Tottenham played better than these two teams. They conceded just one goal and lost 1-0.
It's really disappointing to us. I lost the bet in all three of these matches today. My guess in Tottenham's match was that the match would be a draw. @ leea-1334 I like that AC Milan has recovered from their worst days. Even a few seasons back, people considered them dead. But to everyone's surprise, they are back from the dead. I wouldn't say that they will decay once again very soon. They are getting better season by season and I'm optimistic that they will keep getting better. Maybe a title run within the next few seasons? Why not.

Kemba is not the same anymore, even during his time with the Boston Celtics, he is already inconsistent and that's the reason why he was traded to the Knicks which I think he would do well as there's not much pressure on him compared to when he signed with the Celtics where he was coming from a team that he always leads. Maybe joining on low tier team can improve his career stat just like what other players did and wait for a star player to carry that team. So much true, Kemba was a prolific young talent as a rookie. But as the years passed on, not saying that he started playing worse, but there were other young talents better than him. Last season was somewhat ok for him as he scored an avg of 19 points a game and as a point guard that's quite good in my eyes. Let's see how he does with the Knicks. |

I admit that Ramos is the perfect defender for the defense of a club, but for now, I am a little doubtful that he will be able to play optimally for PSG, apart from his old age, of course the injury that has been received by Ramos has made his performance will decrease from day to day, as a defender performance in guarding the defense is important and now ramos no longer has that, in fact I believe that ramos will spend more time injured with PSG this season than he has played.

Overall his presence brings light to the team and motivates them. And still, he is far away from decaying his form. Consistency of not losing is still not as good as consistency at winning but losing every now and then. Just like Juventus almost every season. They can lose 3 or 4 games but win the majority of the rest. 2 wins and 2 losses is still 50% better points than 4 draws  Considering how they have started the season I hope they can be consistent throughout the season. Italian league this season has been very competitive with the likes of teams like Roma, Napoli, Inter, Lazio playing very well. Even Juventus after starting the season badly have found their rhythm back. So if Napoli coach tries to progress match by match and if they can win the away games against the big 4 or 5 teams, not all of them but if they can win the majority of them, they might have a chance to be the titleholder. It has been more competitive than "normal"actually since about 4 years ago with the rise of Napoli and attacking football,,, and AC Milan coming back from the ground, and even to look at teams like Sassuolo and Roma where actually Salah also began his rise. I wish I followed it more carefully from there but now to watch them play is quite interesting too. Hope to see a Leicester there one day! Italy was not so long ago considered the Juventus-League only. But things have changed within a very shoprt period of time. We are seeing the rise of AC Milan from the dead and Inter and Roma are also gradually playing well. And nothing to say about Napoli, they have been phenomenal this season. I kind of regret not following Italian League so much last 2 or 3 seasons.

As everyone expected, Manchester United's victory over Atlanta will not be easy. Firstly Atlanta is a team experienced enough, secondly Manchester United is going through a very bad time. If today they can't do it then that's okay because I think it's time they gave up on the Champions League early. Having won an important game over Valencia at the weekend, Barcelona returns to the action. In the Champions League they must win consecutive games, so today 3 points are very important. If A. Griezmann wasn't sent off the pitch the game would have ended a draw. Athletico Maldrid was a bit more nervous and frustrated after he was given red card. Sallah is just a one sticker of its own kind too. I enjoyed both Sallah's goal for Liverpool and that of Griezmann for Athletico. Liverpool took advantage of their lapses

I guess that the game of the week was absolutely Leicester - Manchester United. Maybe the first half was not that bright but we watched two great goals in it. And both of them were the candidates to be the goal of the week also. But we had a much different second half. Especially the last 15 minutes were insane. We watched 4 goals in this time period. And it was another great highlight that Vardy answered Rashford's goal in only one minute. A 4-2 win for Leicester must be satisfying. To be honest, I would expect Manchester United to get one point here at least. Their terrible form continues.
So united's poor form continues. I don't know what's wrong with their defense. Seems like Maguire is making mistakes after mistakes and on a whole, you know, their defensive positionings have been worsened throughout the season. I expected Leicester to give a fight but not this good that they'd win the match. Leicester was having a bad form lately both in the EUL and the league but seems like United couldn't take advantage of that but instead lose 4-2. Leverkusen journey in the league this season has been quite good and consistent so that they were able to be in 2nd place in the standings (before losing to Munich), but indeed the difference in quality and squad of the two teams too far so that leverkusen was easily defeated, actually I personally really hope that the two teams can play a draw, so that then we can see fierce competition will occur in the league in fighting for the champion this season
Leverkusen have good start in Bundesliga but this defeat presents the fact that they can not fight against Bayern for the title. If there is a real competitor with Bayern, that is Dortmund. Dortmund have more experience to fight for the title with Bayern and are stronger in match against Bayern. Dortmund can lose but they don't collapse in a few minutes too easily like Leverkusen. I think Leverkusen will not win against Dortmund to end Bundesliga in the runner-up position. Dortmund will take it if they can not beat Bayern and take the title. @DU18, This is exactly why EPL is so interesting to watch. AS there are a number of teams competing for the league title and the competition gets fierce at the end of the season, unlike German and French league. PSG's clash against RB Leipzig will be without Neymar because he was injured on Brazil's international duty. I will miss him, since he is still one of the best players in the world. Ever since he joined PSG, he hasn't played an entire season without getting injured. This guy and injury are living together and have cursed his career. I wish him a speedy recovery nonetheless! I honestly don't see why neymar is still at PSG, besides he doesn't play almost anything all season, he doesn't score many goals at PSG, he has a good performance in the Brazilian team. i think neymar would be in teams like barcelona (ex his team) or real madrid or chelsea or city due to the style of play that is similar to his style of play. Just look at what's happening to messi on PSG, Is how if messi isn't even on the field when he play I don't think PSG has any game strategy. The team is still unstable. The coach does not or cannot fulfill his responsibilities properly. Neymar is not able to play well in PSG. But he is talented. The coach should keep an eye on him. I don't think PSG will win against Leipzig because Neymar and Mauro Icardi won't play.
I might have to agree that it's definitely won't be easy for PSG to win, so avoiding betting on them to win is most likely to be the best choice, PSG are not playing very well even with almost all the squad, and with some key players missing it could be really tricky, maybe both teams to score is a good option here as we saw PSG's defense not doing well in a lot of matches against average and week teams. If Leipzig would be in a good shape themself then i would agree with your prediction but so far the performances of Leipzig in this season where just as disappointing as the ones from Paris. For many experts Leipzig was the big contender for bayern for the Bundesliga title and now they are only on the 8th position. It's the same in the Champions League where they are in the last place and even lost against Brügge. So yes PSG is not in good shape, but it should still be enough for Leipzig. Leipzig is not in a good shape now. They are playing badly in the Champions League as well as in the Bundesliga. They are 8 points behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. This suggests they are a weak team this season. PSG will play without Neymar today. However, Neymar is not performing well in the PSG team. Yet his presence was needed in the squad. I do believe that the unbalancing issue is from the distribution of the money as well. La Liga winners and runners ups get a ton of money and suddenly by the third team you are getting a lot less money and the problem is that real madrid and Barcelona is a worldwide team whereas other teams are not doing marketing to whole world. I do not know many people in the world who are fan of villareal, getafe, bilbao or whatever because it just doesn't make sense at all for them to do something like that. I believe that there is a good chance that we are looking at a finance issue and nothing else.
EPL still is unbalanced but that is based on the owners and there are too many owners that are billionaires and that is why we are in a situation where City is better because they have a lot of players that the owner could afford to buy. They are worried about newcastle to turn to the same thing as well. Both unbalanced but the reasons are different.
Yeah and if you see how much Barca's money came from the sale of Messi shirts and how that alone is bigger than any other La Liga club's income in the past years (except Real of course), then you see how impossible and unbalanced it is. If Barca had been smarter, it would have used all of that money to build better, improve stadium and youth and expand. Instead they threw money away to get Coutinho and others. That is true. Messi alone brought more than half the revenue of Barcelona. Messi himself is a brand and after he left there was already a huge gap in Barca's revenue. Milan vs Verona game yesterday was one of the very interesting games. We watched nearly the same game as the Milan vs Verona game in the last season. Verona got 2-0 ahead then also and Milan drew with them by 2-2. This time, Verona were again the side to get 2-0 ahead and even the first half ended by this score. However, there were a much different Milan this time. Because they made a huge comeback and defeated Verona by 3-2. It is really hard for a team to achieve a this kind of comeback normally. Now, Milan are the provisional leader in the table by one point. Maintaining their position will be dependent on the result in the Napoli vs Torino game.
It was an overall exciting match. Although Verona gave a good fight to Milan last season, but I hoped that this won't be the case this time and though Milan might win it easily. But to my surprise, Verona again did give a very tough time to Milan. Even Verona had an own goal which gave Milan the win in the 78th minute. Overall, I'm enjoying the Italian league this season so much. Every game has been very enjoyable so far. |
