2041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term investment suggestion on: April 29, 2022, 10:43:12 PM
Guys, any suggestions for short-term investment?

No short term investment can give good return, it is nothing more than a gamble. Shitcoin projects are an option for short-term investment as they are mostly created to hype and then disappear, so when you invest in shitcoins you have to accept the risk.

I think you should think again because short term investment really never give profit, you can become a day trader to be able to make daily profit instead of investing in shitcoins.
2042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: April 29, 2022, 08:00:27 AM
I have never used it, but my advice is not to use it. Really should avoid using bots, and copy trades. It just makes you fail and lose everything. Depending on others will make it impossible for you to stay in the market for long. Even though they're experts, that doesn't mean they're always right and don't fail. So develop yourself and make yourself a professional trader, will take a lot of time and effort but you will definitely get well-deserved rewards for your efforts.
2043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: April 29, 2022, 03:49:49 AM
Nothing is available for free bro. You must have to invest something, it could be your knowledge or your labor or money. Now if you don't have anything in it then you have to start acquire knowledge first . Or you can do a bounty campaign and then you can start investment or trading from bounties profit. But it would be a end suggestion

Exactly, nothing is free here. If OP wants to find a job that doesn't have to cost money to start, then OP should take the time to learn and supplement knowledge to have the opportunity to make money in market. There are many forms of making money such as airdrop, bounty, learn to earn from exchanges also requires knowledge, so OP should take the time to find information, learn.
I think learn to earn is the most interesting because it helps us earn money and gain more useful knowledge.
2044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 29, 2022, 03:33:22 AM
~snip
The bear market seems to always be side by side with the bull market, the two of them take turns to form a market, and sometimes the market is tired of moving so that it forms an area of consolidation. actually it is not difficult to invest in cryptocurrencies, we can choose the top coins without in-depth analysis, unfortunately many people want to get big profits immediately so they are looking for new projects, without realizing this is a high risk, therefore using a little funds would be better, at least to unleash the monster inside us

Not every top coin will be profitable or will always be, whether it is new projects or top coins, you should do thorough research before investing. You can look at the topcoins in 2013, 2017 and 2021, and you can see there has been a lot of change in the top coins, a lot of topcoins have been replaced by new and better altcoins. Especially when the bear market lasts, many projects will not survive and will be forgotten.
2045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So Many Exchanges out there on: April 28, 2022, 03:56:05 PM
Picking any exchange would be hard, I will give you that much. Even if you are dealing with places like Binance or Coinbase, it could become a difficulty because they require KYC and they could still get hacked in a way that your KYC could be shared with the world.

It's not always the money that gets stolen, the hackers would steal anything they could find, even if it is just staff names type of simple stuff. This means that we need to be careful when picking them. This is why I have suggested my friend who got in recently to use p2p, then use DEX and when he wanted to get out, use p2p again. This is the best method for your own privacy to stay intact.

The exchange on DEX exchanges does not require KYC, but I think doing the steps on it is more complicated than CEX and the gas fee will also be much higher. As a newbie to the market, perhaps CEX is still a safer and easier to use option. Binance can be considered as the best and most reliable CEX exchange but if you are afraid of KYC then you can use Kucoin, they don't require KYC but if it doesn't KYC then you will be limited per transaction.
2046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can newbie become rich with trading on: April 28, 2022, 03:43:05 PM
Trading look like a hard to understand game and for any new person in trading making profits is always hard that is why am here to ask how can a newbie make profit trading coins and what manual can be followed.

As a newbie, do not rush to find profits instead look for knowledge and accumulate experience. Most of the newcomers just want to make a profit without having to learn anything. Professional traders, they also start like you are a newbie, over time learn and hone their knowledge even  they have to spend a lot of money in the market to get the success they are today. sSo don't expect profit but focus on knowledge first.
2047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: April 28, 2022, 03:21:51 PM
remember trading is like a gamble you either gain or loose.
Do not trade with everything you have, your egg can not be save in one basket, I have lost but I have gained more in trading with the help of research and mentorship programs.

If trading is like gambling then you will not need research to gain your profit. It is not a gambling. You lead to learn like your have said that you got mentor that helped you. You also need to study your indicators which are very many depending on what you choose. You have to adopt trading pattern that you will rely on like using stoploss incase you are losing. You have to study your chats to understand the market direction. You know gambling don't have these type of technicalities and you don't have any particular direction to follow.

The OP's point is that they are the same here which means that, although we have the knowledge to do thorough research before investing, we cannot be 100% certain that our statements will be correct there will be risks that we do not anticipate. Investing is not the same as gambling but both have in common that it is risky and unpredictable, so always allocate investment capital appropriately and be willing to accept risks.
2048  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: April 28, 2022, 03:04:16 PM
Personally, I think the latest order to stop supplying oil and gas to Poland and Bulgaria is a tough move by the Putin administration in the face of growing pressure from sanctions.  Once again putting the US and Europe in this important supply shortage problem when winter is approaching.  It is precisely the right time that Russia is aggressively trying to strengthen the ruble… In terms of benefits, I think they will gain more than they lose by taking firm and decisive action.  They must make the most of their right to “dependence” to maximize the benefits of resilience for a weakening economy.

The cessation of gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria shows that Russia is getting tough with unfriendly partners, which is a warning to Europe.
Russia has an advantage in the gas war with Europe, if Europe accepts payment in rubles, it means they have lost the war, if they refuse, they have to find an alternative to Russian gas. The gas contract is about to be renewed, let's wait and see who will give way.
The cessation of gas supply by Russia to the two EU countries will trigger a protracted war between Europe and Russia, which will have a strong impact on world oil and gas prices.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 28, 2022, 02:25:05 PM

I'm hoping we won't see a "Twitter coin".

This is a bad idea, I think Elon likes to hold and shill what he likes rather than creating a coin. If he wanted him to have done it before instead of he hold Doge and shill them. Doge will definitely have leaps when Twitter belongs to Elon, it can become a means of payment for Twitter. Now he will shill Doge whenever he wants because no one can stop what he wants to do on Twitter.

We don't know yet the real reason why he bought Twitter other than what he said in some interviews of wanting free speech simce many issues of censorship and being biased were labeled in Twitter before especially when it comes in politics. Now being a private company owned by Elon it may have a larger impact not just in what he wanted Free speech but also into crypto since he is known for voicing out what coins to shill like how he is able to make Doge coin popular. Whatever his motive is it for sure will benefit his compnies as well he see it as way to develop or gain more profit in the future.

He definitely has a plan for Twitter not just free speech, it's probably one of the reasons. We all know him as a talented person and the richest man in the world right now and $44 billion is a huge number.

He won't spend such a large amount of money to own Twitter and give  joking tweets, other than using Twitter to shill coins, I think he has a big plan for his business. But whatever the reason, his twitter acquisition will be a good thing for crypto as he is also one of the crypto lovers.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 28, 2022, 01:57:30 PM
DC owns the toss and chooses to bowl,

The win probability says that it is going to be a 50/50 between these two teams but I believe DC is in a better form than KKR. KKR has lost four matches in a row now and things really don't look good for them. But, I believe they will be determined to prove themselves in this match and so will be DC.
2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 27, 2022, 04:12:56 PM
If Virat Kohli decides not to play in the IPL, it will be a very bad decision for him. Maybe his career is over. He has not been in form for a long time. There was an opportunity to return to the fore with a good performance in the IPL. But he can't. He should practice more. And should continue to try to return to form. If he cannot return to form in the IPL, then he needs to rest. He must be mentally strong. If you are not mentally strong, performance will not improve.
Virat Kohli struggling, not passing a good time in hid entire cricket career. Summarizing his last several games which is exceptionally bizarre, not suite any level of cricket. People suggest, he should take rest and play domestic cricket. With this form Virat really deserve to be in the Bengaluru's squad or in the upcoming T20WC team? That's the big question.

It is really hard to decide because you don't want to have a player who is not performing at all in recent times for the world cup and at the same time you have to remember it is none other than Virat Kohli. we all know that he has the capability but in recent times he is not in a good form at all.  the last thing we want to see is Virat Kohli being a burden on the Indian national team.
2052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: April 27, 2022, 04:19:04 AM
I am disappointed with the project in crypto, many bounty projects cheat their members, they make sweet promises to members after their project is successful they are free from responsibility for making new regulations and there are projects that don't want to distribute their tokens because they are afraid to distribute tokens to bounty hunters the price of their tokens down.

That's why people always advise to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum instead of greedy looking for big profit from shitcoins.

You should avoid participating in new projects without doing any research, cryptocurrency is an open and evolving environment so there is no way to prevent scams here.

The only way is to be fully equipped with knowledge and best of all to stay away from the temptations of new projects, focusing on Bitcoin and top altcoins.

2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 26, 2022, 10:51:31 PM
I understand that the stage of international cricket and club cricket is changing. and I think it is happening for the good of cricket because it might increase the popularity of cricket altogether.

But I don't see why a player who is not retired from international cricket, is supposed to prioritize franchise cricket more than his national duty. I understand that that pay is really good but I still don't think that franchise cricket can offer what International Cricket can. or maybe I'm just a boomer who enjoys international cricket a little more than franchise cricket.

Cricket is just like any other profession. You can't force the players to turn down a high paying offer (just like the case with any other career). The salary levels in IPL is 10x or 20x of what the players receive in international matches. Given this, can you really force the players to opt for international matches, when the IPL is ongoing? It is extremely unfair. Some of the cricket boards, such as the one in South Africa has done this and in the end many of the players were forced to take retirement.

The money is really good in the IPL. Because it generates more money and that's why there is more money to give to the players.
So this brings me to another question.
why is not the international stage able to make so much money? And
why is a player more likely to retire from international cricket just so that he can concentrate on IPL and franchise cricket?

obviously, there is a big communication gap between the players and the cricket board and that is obviously not helping the situation.

I believe the answer is simple a player gets more attention, respect, and most importantly more money in league matches then he ever would while playing in international matches. Also I’m not saying that international matches aren’t important now but cricket has evolved and so has cricketers lifestyle, and hence they need these leagues money to keep up with their lavish lifestyle, and honestly I see nothing wrong with it if they prioritise playing more T20 matches over ODI.

I don't know about attention or respect but I am sure about the money and that is a big reason why a lot of older players retired from international cricket and play franchise cricket only.
Because at that stage of their career they have achieved most of the things that they could have, and they need assurance for their future days in their life, and you know, playing IPL certainly grants them that assurance.
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's approval of BTC on: April 26, 2022, 03:13:06 AM
On the note of China, they are in fact conducting bilateral transactions with Russia without using USD outputs. So on top of the Russian currency reserves being emptied, China is willing to do business with Russia on their own terms.

Interesting side note, Israel is a major U.S. ally, and for the first time, they've adopted Yuan into their own currency reserves dropping their share of USD. It isn't just Russia that is diversifying their assets.

It's going to be a problem if the CCP's currency becomes the global standard.

China's Yuan becoming the global standard will be a total nightmare for sure. If that happens, communism/socialism will win. I'm pretty sure the US won't let that happen or that will mean the end of democracy for good. Russia may be falling, but it still has China (and some allies) by its side. That may not be enough to help rise its economy from the ground up, but if the US and its allies continue to show weakness, then the tables will turn faster than you can imagine.

On the issue of approving BTC, I don't think Russia will take such measures since that will mean going against China. The Russian government will still use BTC in secret, but it won't be approved for use by the people. It really doesn't matter which country approves or disapproves of Bitcoin since regulations can't really be enforced. That's the beauty of decentralization. Who knows what the future holds for Bitcoin as it becomes too big to fail? Just my thoughts Grin

Looking at the present, USD is under threat and weaker than ever, but I believe that the US will do everything, regardless of not losing its position as a leading power. China and Russia are creating a new alliance that restricts the use of USD and EURO in their transactions and they want to overthrow the dominance of USD and EURO but it is still difficult to say whether China's Yuan will soon replace the USD.

Bitcoin is only one method in Russia's choice of means of payment with its counterparty, so it will not affect the relationship of the two countries. Yes, bitcoin has become too big to beat even if China gets rid of bitcoin.
2056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: April 26, 2022, 02:58:03 AM
For sure Dogecoin now has a place to hype.

Ain't know if this is good or bad news for crypto or Bitcoin itself but it seems the intention of Elon Musk towards this platform is good.
But I tend to agree above, it could be also a misuse that could benefit him and make a hype of any coins that he wanted to pump.

Whatever the hidden agenda why Elon Musk bought this platform, let's hope that's good and based on his proposal, and here's what he says he'll do next.

Doge's price increased sharply after this notice although the market dropped, the doge is up over 18% and is trading at 0,15$. We still don't know if this will be bad or good but he will definitely use Twitter to hype the projects he holds for profit. In the past he always complained about privacy on Twitter because it made him feel uncomfortable not having freedom of speech. Back then, shareholders were said to be very adamant about not letting Twitter fall into the hands of Elon, it is difficult to understand how this deal happened so quickly.
2057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: April 26, 2022, 02:39:00 AM
This may be due to many factors, but my thinking is that when people with lots of bitcoins start selling at those high prices, the price drops just like any other market.
and unprofessional and weak investors see this drop and start panic selling thinking that it's all over or falling deeper which only causes the price to drop more and causes more people to sell. This leads to an unavoidable decline and is a reality that will not go away including FUD.
and the things that happened to bitcoin will happen again, but in the end the price will go up even more than the previous price. Most importantly, be patient.

Looking at the current decline, there will be a lot of people starting to lose faith in bitcoin that they forget that this is how the market works with bulls and bears.

This only happens to noob who do not have much experience on the market but this is what Shark wants it to happen, causing weak hands to sell panic, dumping. It will be an opportunity for them to collect Bitcoin at low prices. When the market decreases what we just need to hold and wait patiently, this is simple but not everyone can do it.
2058  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth as the major religions in world. on: April 26, 2022, 02:24:45 AM
Money or wealth is the dream destination of many people in the world

Religion is the total believe of a group people on a particular being.
Most or everyone in the world today in which I am included believe in accumulating of wealth and making money.

More than Half of the life span of the human race is centred on making of money or wealth.

Making money legally or illegally, accumulating of wealth is the believe of most people in the world.

I stand to be corrected or cencitize
I was once insulted by someone and she said me is a poor, it really broke my heart...

money is now a benchmark for respecting someone to others (this is how the world works), without money, your family will find it difficult to get treatment, go to school, go to worship and even do other activities. Religion is a spiritual need, while money is a primary human need.

In today's society, money is considered the measure and standard of life. Without money we will never be treated properly even it happens in our own family, our parents, our spouse, our brothers and sisters.

People these days don't notice or care how hard you tried, what they care about is your results. And they will look at what you have and treat us the way they see it. This is the sad reality of today's society.
2059  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits USA on: April 26, 2022, 01:42:39 AM
I'm skeptical with the inflation numbers.  With my naked eye prices for the everyday things I buy have gone up significantly higher.  Will be interesting to see what the fed does next month when they meet.  Expecting a 50 point raise in the interest rates to help combat inflation.  Gonna kill mortgage rates, and stymy housing price rises.  Feeling very 2007-08.  Not that we have scammy lending practices but house prices can be upside down and foreclosure surging could happen just like it did.  Watching all this closely to see how it pans out.  Either way looks like we are gonna see some hard years ahead.

Inflation in the US is growing at alarming rates. We can blame the politicians for letting this happen. If only salaries went up, things would've been different. But rising prices without any increase in your pay, will only make you poorer in the long term. There's only one solution to this and that is Bitcoin.

I'd suggest anyone to invest some money into Bitcoin over time in order to reduce the negative effects of inflation. Bitcoin should've been worth a lot more in terms of Fiat (USD), but for some reason it isn't. Good things only comes to those who wait so I'm in no hurry of seeing higher prices on Bitcoin anytime soon. Just my opinion Smiley

Inflation is increasing not only in the US but it is happening all over the world and the solution that everyone is applying is to work overtime to generate more income to deal with inflation. They forgot to note that investing in bitcoin will be the solution to help them avoid future inflation because bitcoin price will always increase over time.
Bitcoin is not the only anti-inflation solution, but it can be seen that currently bitcoin is the most profitable investment so it will be the best place for us to avoid inflation.
2060  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: April 26, 2022, 01:33:16 AM
It is fairly obvious, but there are people out there that have written 200 pages self-help books and made a fortune out of them by simply stating this simple fact of life: "you can invest your savings. If you ainīt got any, you ainīt gonna invest". (I admit you could argue that you can borrow but still nobody ainīt lending ya if you ainīt gonna givvet baksh).

The basic concepts that will save you a 15 bucks book:

- you invest so that your money works for you. Even if you cannot drop your job, you can still live a bit better with extra income.
- Investing is sacrificing something today to get something tomorrow. This is just a definition. You save x today because you want 2x tomorrow or in year or whenever.
- The first step to invest is saving part of your income. No savings, no future.
- If you have credits unpaid (other than mortgages or other asset backed credits), you pay those first because they charge you a lot.

And from here we could start speaking on how are you going to save regularly, if it is going to be 10% of your income, or 5% or 50%, how are you going to learn about investing, etc...

Savings are needed every day. We can't get good capital if we don't learn to save. As a result of the savings, funds are collected that we can invest. If we save now, then we can make investments that will allow us to have a great future. Money in a bank account can be profitable, but it is more about saving. This is a very interesting activity, in this case, even saving money can become an investment.

Investment is always risky and we will not be able to predict everything, so saving is extremely necessary. Savings will be the necessary supplement for us to increase our investment ability, we can deduct part of our savings to invest. This will be safe for our finances. For me, savings is also an investment, although not as profitable as an investment, it will be safe and can be used in urgent cases.
