2141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 03, 2022, 06:03:55 PM
Previously I had convinced myself that I expected Atalanta to win, but the truth is that Napoli can lead by two goals in the first half. With this defeat in the first half, I currently doubt that Atalanta can win the match, even though the statistics show that it is clear that Atalanta can still dominate the match but the final result is still not promising. Because Napoli itself is not a weak team and also, competition in the title race makes Napoli will try hard to be able to maintain this temporary victory.

Napoli did end up winning the match in the end and the score was 3-1 in the end. They played like they were multiple steps ahead of their opponent. Atlanta did try to play well and give them a competition but it was not enough. I like how Napoli played in that match by the way because they got the first goal and they did not look back. They did not just sit on the lead and defend. They went for more goals which I really appreciate.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 03, 2022, 06:00:36 PM
with yesterday's surprising away defeat of st. pauli at hansa rostock (0-1), werder bremen can become the sole leader of the table with a home win against sandhausen today with then 54 points.
the match between heidenheim and nürnberg will also be interesting - both teams need to win to avoid losing contact with third place.

Weirder Bremen could be the team that has the fairly comfortable lead from others but they unexpectedly could not win their last match against SV Sandhausen and came out with a draw. They do have 1 point lead from the later teams but that could be 3 points. St Pauli is not going to be bothered by Nurnberg or Heidenheim too much because they are still 5 points away.
2143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 03, 2022, 05:16:06 PM
TBF I don't think Rudiger will leave Chelsea and many Chelsea fans share this thought too. It will be quite easy for him to renew his contract with them when the ownership issue is sorted. I think that's the only disturbing factor for him and most players in the club at moment. It is actually laughable that Manchester United thinks Rudiger would consider joining them, if he is leaving Chelsea, he will go a club that can actually win trophies. PSG and Real Madrid are worthy options at moment.
It will be fine if Rudiger remains in Chelsea because he is a big structure in the club. Infact Rudiger is an asset to any team he will go. Due to his fine form, every club will like to have home at the defence line. But since his rumor keeps coming up it can be like he will leave Chelsea because everything is possible.

Rudiger to go to Manchester United is possible, forget about the trophy or going to champions. Manchester United is still a big club that every player wants to join and make money and add value to names. After all that is what football is for...

I think PSG is also out of the equation because a player who seeks greatness cannot achieve much if he goes to PSG other than the league title in my opinion.

Antonio Rudiger damning Barcelona meeting sends Chelsea double transfer reminder Tuchel regrets

This is some interesting news.  but I still think that Antonio Rüdiger will still stay at Chelsea.
2144  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: April 03, 2022, 05:07:59 AM
I don't think a world war can happen. In any case, I do not think that this will be the time for crypto.
If you read the news especially from different sources, you can see how tense the relations between superpowers and rogue nations are one snap is all that it takes for a war to burst out. If ever a war was to break out, I don't think that bitcoin is going to be the first of the things we have to worry because war claims any lives it can get its hands on so your life is the priority more than bitcoin.

World War III will be a war of technology and nuclear, so if it happens it will bring the world back to the stone Age. Everyone's life may not be saved, not many people will survive. So currency and bitcoin or any other asset will no longer be a concern of people. Our lives come first.
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 03, 2022, 04:51:45 AM
Many times I had come accoss this topic, the simplest way to understand this was easy.We need to teach the kids above 14 about cryptocurrency.Because it was not clear to the new kids below. They don’t clear with money making principles at the age of 14.They will know how to spend money with their friends.Because they are just playing kids and not a experienced traders

When they grow up and have enough awareness will be the most appropriate time. At 14, I still don't think it's appropriate to teach them finance or invest in bitcoin. They should not be taught to invest because they are not yet aware of how risky investing is. 18 years old will be most suitable when reaching adulthood and finishing high school. This is the time when children should step out of their parents' comfort zone to become adults.
2146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LTC for BTC...? on: April 03, 2022, 04:32:49 AM
If you compare LTC with BTC or ETH in terms of parameters and development process as well as achievements, it is not comparable. But LTC also had significant growth reaching an ATH of $386 in May 2021.
Currently, new blockchains are constantly appearing and there are significant improvements. But LTC is still considered a good asset to accumulate when the market fluctuates along with BTC although the returns won't be as high as the new blockchain.
2147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel if satoshi back on: April 03, 2022, 03:50:31 AM
Satoshi won't come back, I certainly won't. With his reappearance this is not necessarily a good thing, instead of it bringing glory to him he will be in more trouble. While bitcoin is falling out of favor with national governments as it threatens their traditional financial system. His return will leave him hunted and tortured rather than glorified, he has chosen to remain silent for many years, which is perfectly reasonable and should be kept that way.
2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: April 03, 2022, 03:34:28 AM
Bitcoin remains to be adopted by every country in the world for various reasons. Here are my thoughts on why..

1. Government policies: Most government and financial institutions round the world seem not to want bitcoin cause of the financial freedom it gives to its users. They would want to control and tax the flow of finances of individuals and they probably fear the anonymous nature of its transactions. Some policies even go as far as criminalizing its use.

Government is the root cause, they never accept something they cannot control. Fiat will remain their favorite tool and will do whatever it takes to stop the growth of bitcoin, if they cannot stop bitcoin their power will be lost.

Once the government accepts bitcoin, I think other problems will be solved soon. If the government recognizes bitcoin and encourages people to use BTC, people will be more interested in it, fraudulent acts will be strictly controlled by the government and the bad news about bitcoin will be gone if the government accepts it.
2149  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising inflation forces investors to look for defensive assets. on: April 02, 2022, 02:12:40 PM
When talking about defensive assets, everyone thinks of Gold as their first option, Real Estate investment as their second option and some people with a very low percentage think of BTC, despite the fact that BTC has a much faster growth than gold itself , but it has an impediment that has been highlighted by the big news worldwide, as well as by some economists and, of course, by bankers and some governments, when they say that it is a very high-risk asset and that they do not recommend it.

Unfortunately many people still faithfully believe in the news and manipulation systems where they do not think for themselves that an asset can be bought at $44k right now and then reach $100k more, that is very difficult to see, however many people already is waking up and they are looking at BTC as a safe haven, this is to be admired.

A lot of population are still sticking to the traditional assets because they want to see their assets. Whereas, with bitcoin, most of them are hesitant because it is new, and the truth is most of them don't know how to transact with crypto. So they prefer to be on the safer side, which are the tangible assets. We can't blame them because people are used to these assets. But for those who discovered crypto, they feel they are lucky to be in this market. Patience is needed here and understanding of the market, in order to gain from this market. So yes, this market is not for all.

Because it is a new market and to be honest, there are too many scams around crypto. Many people haven't entered the market when they hear about cryptocurrencies, the first thing that comes to mind is bitcoin. Because this causes misunderstandings that make them not really fully trust bitcoin.

Along with the short-term volatility of bitcoin is also what makes them fear their wealth will evaporate when investing in bitcoin, only those who have been in the market long enough can feel the difference between bitcoin and its true value.
2150  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia wants to build a new world order with China on: April 02, 2022, 01:47:59 PM
it will be difficult to shift America, which has long been a superpower in the global economic system,,,, but that does not mean it is impossible, the possibility that will shift America's position in the future is China, but it will also take decades to come
Right about that, the word knows for sure that America will not be ready to give up the power easily. They would also try as much as possible to make sure that they retain their status as the world’s superpower. And there is no doubt that they are seeing what is happening, and it’s clear that they already see China as an opposition, so they would fight as much as possible to make sure that their economy and everything keeps growing so that they stay on top.

I’ve seen some analysts who have predicted that by 2030 to 2050, that China would be the world’s superpower. But, one thing we also have to know is that these predictions are based on what we are seeing presently, but we can’t really tell what would happen in the future.

Of course they will do everything to prevent this from happening, no one wants to lose their throne. Russia and China are two major rivals of the US from military to economic. The US has made the mistake of taking wrong actions to push Russia and China closer and closer together. they will have to fight to prevent the rise of these two great powers.

Russia and China really need a long time to pivot the world economy in their favor, but they have been doing it.
2151  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay in rubles or have your gas shut off by April on: April 02, 2022, 01:29:32 PM

I'm 99% sure that the EU will refuse to pay with rubles, but will the Russians stop the gas and get rid of their number one income source? It has been said, that Asian countries cannot fully replace European countries as natural gas buyers.

I guess if the EU refuses to pay in rubles then the Russians will also stop supplying gas. The EU has already imposed almost all sanctions on the Russian economy and there is no reason for Russia to continue to make concessions. Pay in rubles, this could have been too sudden a Russian counterattack against the US and EU that they didn't think of and they were slow to react.

It's hard to predict when the war between Russia and Ukraine will stop unless we can read Putin's mind. even the president of ukraine has several times proposed peace mediation to putin but always rejected by him. What I'm worried about is that more and more countries will eventually lift their sanctions on Russia because their oil and gas is scarce. Victims of the economic impact that will occur will explode.

I guess, Russian president Putin is fully ready to give peace a chance because his last interviewed show, he is not happy the way the war is eliminating people and their properties in the country. Ukraine and Russian will not reject peace this time around because this war has caused many damages to their economy and to other countries too which other countries are fully prepared to end the war soon. Putin is ready to embrace peace because the suspension they got from sports, import and export has made them to decide to embrace peace with Ukraine, so that it will not cause more damages to their citizens and their economy.

I agree with this view, both want the war to stop as soon as possible because it is clearly not in the interest of either side. I think there's a third person who really doesn't want this war to end anytime soon. The deeper the two became involved in the war, the more rapid and irreparable the economic fallout became. So they find ways to prolong this war that can kill Russia and Ukraine is just a pawn on the world chessboard.
2153  Economy / Economics / Re: When Will This War End? on: March 31, 2022, 05:51:41 AM
No one knows, if Ukraine does not become a neutral country then Russia will continue to launch its aggression. You know that Putin is a person who doesn't give up easily, no matter the victims on both sides. As long as Ukraine position on Russia threatens Russia balance with NATO, the war will continue. Btw, I almost left out all the latest information on this, because I was tired of the news, that war is murder by legal means. Terrifying

The negotiations on the 29th showed that Ukraine is ready to become a neutral country, not joining any alliance and not allowing other countries to establish military bases in Ukraine. There have been several ceasefires and the opening of more humanitarian corridors for people to move out of the war zone. But by agreeing to the independence of the two territories of Donetsk and Luhansk from Ukraine, it is almost impossible to compromise and Putin is not one to give up easily. The war is not over yet.

For that action they made and decide to be a neutral country they might change the mind of Putin towards his aggression. We know that this is the root cause of the war and the only thing left for them to retreat or end this war and that is Zelensky will officially declare his defeat to Russia.

Putin is not one to give up easily, he will not stop until his goal is achieved. He called this war a special military operation. The only way is for Ukraine to surrender, but every country has national pride. as I said they can accept neutrality but not accept sharing your people and part of your country with others. If it's Russia in return, I think they will too, cannot lose even a single piece of national territory.
2154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie choose a better stable coin on: March 31, 2022, 05:11:45 AM
I'm looking forward to store some stable coin for future investment, maybe probably when a harder bearish market takes place to buy coins for lesser price but I can't seem to figure with stable coin can make me have a good night sleep at night with zero worries, USDT? BUSD?

No need to store stable coins you can buy anytime you want and any exchange, you can still hold your fiat while waiting for the bear market to happen. Buying stable coins is not too difficult so hoarding we don't think is necessary.
If you still decide to hoard then my advice is to find yourself a decentralized stablecoin like DAI instead of using USDT, BUSD.

2156  Economy / Economics / The first country in Europe to pay for gas to Russia in rubles on: March 31, 2022, 04:16:00 AM
According to media reports, the Vatican Bank has accepted payments for Russian gas in rubles.
The source also said that the Vatican bought rubles from the Central Bank of Russia for the equivalent of 10 million euros and that the Vatican has completed all the necessary steps in the method of purchasing gas in rubles.

Currently the news has not been confirmed by either party, but if this is true and creates a domino effect. It can be said that European sanctions against Russia have failed.

2157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opera integrates Bitcoin in there Browser on: March 30, 2022, 03:19:08 PM
If it's google chrome or microsoft edge that's probably good news. Currently, the opera browser market share is only a small and insignificant part, so there are not too many expectations on it.
If you are looking for a web3 browser, you can use the brave browser. I'm using brave at the moment, which also has a built-in crypto wallet and what I like about brave is its privacy and doesn't track users as current browsers do.
2158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There any other country except El Salvador using BTC as legal tender?
 on: March 30, 2022, 02:42:13 PM
Russia is still one of the countries to put in consideration although no official statement yet was made on the adoption but reports shows that Russia is looking for crypto (Bitcoin) to byepass sanction, and of which with all indications the only available means to that is in making bitcoin a legal tender. Also many countries make make the moves and pass the bill but none is set to approve it while we have some other countries as well going against bitcoin placing a ban.

I think on the contrary, Russia is trying to find some solution to avert the economic collapse in the country and crypto is just a small one of them. Before the war, Russia proposed banning crypto-related activities such as using and mining crypto in their country.

If the war ends and sanctions are lifted, I'm not sure if Russia will continue to use crypto. IMO, Russia is using crypto this is a must look like they are not sympathetic to crypto.
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value more if no Altcoins or not on: March 29, 2022, 03:37:37 PM
Even with the existence of several altcoin bitcoin still possess it's own dominance making it's value unaffected by altcoin price or fluctuation rather the opposite is the case. When ever there is a pump in bitcoin price it reflects on altcoin and same thing happen when there is a drought. But if an altcoin experience an upsurge due to hype or high demand it has no effect on bitcoin value
It is true that regardless of how many altcoins are created, in terms of volatility bitcoin is largely unaffected by altcoin hype. But without altcoins, I think crypto wouldn't be as popular as they are today.
Bitcoin creates the market but it is the altcoins that make the market grow and become vibrant attracting investors when creating trends in the market. So altcoins play an important role in the market, without altcoins people would have nothing to compare with bitcoin and we wouldn't know bitcoin is special.
2160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia to legalize Crypto Mining Soon on: March 29, 2022, 03:11:48 PM
Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Evgeny Grabchak revealed statement about introducing clear regulations for crypto mining in the country. His statement served as a support for the cryptomarket and the miners within the country, because back in January cryptocurrency mining was banned in Russia.

I suppose people living in Russia will take advantage of this to mine, but I doubt this will attract foreign capital, at least significantly. It is no longer because of the war or Putin, it is because of the perceived insecurity of having gone back and forth on this issue: now I am going to ban it, now I am going to legalize it, tomorrow I will ban it again, and so on.

That said, I hope it will finally be carried out.

Your doubts are very reasonable, before the war they banned bitcoin. Perhaps their acceptance of crypto is partly due to the impact of the war on their country. If the war ends and everything goes back to normal, I don't know if they will continue to ban it or if there will be a regulatory framework for crypto.
This will make foreign investors nervous and it will be difficult to attract foreign investors with Russia's sudden decisions.
