2462  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga balita patungkol sa Bitcoin. on: September 06, 2018, 03:51:16 AM
Bitcoin Seals Further Gains in a Mostly Green Market as Ethereum Fails to Break $300.
Crypto markets are largely green today, with Bitcoin ( BTC) inching upwards yet  further, and several large-market-cap alts seeing solid gains.
Bitcoin is trading at around $7,374 at press time, up over 1 percent on the day as it continues boost its newly won gains.
Having reclaim the. $7,000 price point August 31, Bitcoin has seen a solid upwards trend and is now pushing $7,400.
OMG! What have you done?! Kung di ako nagkakamali, kumuha ka ng headlines ng mga crypto news (I'm not only sure where it came from) and posted it here as your reply. Are you dumb? If you will not say anything meaningful and decent then much better kung di ka na nagreply.

You are liable of spamming and plagiarism (somehow) which is against the rules of course. If I were you, I will now delete my post bago ka pa mareport or get banned here in th forum at worst case scenario. I hope this will not happen again, grow up dude.
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened? Why do prices fly down? on: September 06, 2018, 12:45:42 AM
Rumors? I don't think so. I don't hear any negative news lately so probably this is not the real reason for the dip. Come on guys, don't suddenly presume that there are bad news here in crypto world where there is none in the first place. This things create FUDs which is very bad  Undecided

I guess this is just a usual dip. Like all the times. For now, let's keep an eye in the market and be ready for more coin hoarding (in case that it drops deeper) Grin.
2464  Other / Meta / Re: Should I reply to topics with more or less replies? For the merit? on: September 05, 2018, 11:57:06 PM
In addition to 1-3 and 6-10+, reply the topics which have exactly 0 and  4-5 replies too  Smiley
Posting to threads with 0 and 4-5 replies is the secret? No way! No offense but you are wrong because if that's true then for sure early respondents of every thread here inside the forum already got merit points.

The chance of receiving merit points cannot be determined by the number of replies in a particular thread because the main criteria for judging is the quality of your posts. So whether you are replying to a most replied thread or not, it doesn't matter. You will get merit as soon as someone from the crowd notice your high quality posts. But remember, replying in megathreads could be a factor also, always expect that your post might not get a merit because of the congestion so better for you to quit posting in this kind of threads because it such a waste of effort Smiley.
2465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 05, 2018, 10:40:34 PM
Too high? Are you serious? But btc is on its bearish days right now. Well, I'm not expecting too much because you are beginner. Maybe you will later realized how btc can be really high when it skyrockets soon (hopefully) Smiley.

Since you can't afford to buy btc, why don't you try reputable coins next to it like Eth or Bch. Those alts are cheaper but still competitive in the market. A friendly reminder, do not yet try not well-known alts because there's a big chance that you'll end up with a shitcoin. Just invest first between Top 10 coins in the market and hodl it until the bullish run comes. Good luck Smiley.
2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capella Coin- The Altcoin for Alternative energy Sources on: September 05, 2018, 11:09:38 AM
1.      Capella Coin will be used to buy and sell renewable energy.
Instead of buying energy from a renewable resource, why don't we build one for ourselves. I mean, cleaner resources of energy was already there, and take note, free for all; so let's wait no more and harnessed it. I know that this matters are harder than a simple science project but you don't necessarily need to get stressed out. Just perceive the main concept/mechanism, add a little bit creativity and support your work even with not so technical calculations. With these, you now have your own alternative source of energy which may end your dependence on the local power grids or reduce your electric bills at least.

Just to be clear, I'm not showing opposition in this platform because I admitted that they have a great concept. I'm just encouraging others to be more eco-friendly in order to save our planet for further damage Smiley
Capella Coin will also be used to buy and sell raw materials, machine parts, installations and equipments for renewable energy sources.
Capella Coin will invest heavily in the research and development of Renewable energy sources and will be a worldwide proponent in making renewable energy sources more acceptable and making the sources cheaper and affordable for everybody to use and adopt.
I really like this part. Because your platform do not only have the vision of revolutionizing the conventional way of doing transactions regarding this issue but also shows support on the side of Alternative Energy to step up and remove the use of fossil fuels. Anyway, wishing you the best and good luck Smiley.
2467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HAS BITCOIN REALLY STOOD THE TEST OF TIME? on: September 05, 2018, 04:57:44 AM
Absolutely YES! Let's have a short preview regarding btc's development through the years. It started from $.0025 per coin (on 2010 when the Bitcoin and 2 pizza occured), jumped to $1k+ before the end of 2013, shockingly dropped to $3.6k+ on September last year (the bloodbath caused by China's ICO ban) but able to recover and surprised the crypto world when it nearly hit the $20k mark before 2017 ends (its ATH record). reference: https://99bitcoins.com/price-chart-history/

See? Btc remain standing still.  Though speaking as if it is already done is wrong and sounds overconfident as well, I guess this proof was already enough to conclude that nothing can stop btc — even the TIME itself Smiley.
2468  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: September 04, 2018, 03:13:46 PM
Which one would you prefer or best to earn?
Honestly, I want btc mining, but sad to say, I don't have enough funds for that one so I remain joining sig campaigns and rypto investing. Well, I can say that my ways are not totally bad at all because at least I'm still be able to sustain my daily needs through these small things in which I'm very proud of Smiley.

The bottomline, all of the stated options above are beneficial unless you're a bad money handler Grin.
Many have left their main job after experiencing double income from crypto.
Yup! They do exist but I feel pity for these kind of people becuase they thought that having a good time here in crypto world is permanent lol. I hope they'll soon realized how important a stable job based on your profession is.
2469  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty or signature campaign? on: September 04, 2018, 01:36:23 PM
For me, I'll go with signature campaign because it seems more efficient and attractive to the applicants as well. Here are the reasons why (IMO):

1. Since the payment is in terms of btc, the participants are never worried about losing its value (unlike alts/tokens). Hodling it for a long time or spending in an instant were not a problem.
2. Since the payment are done weekly, the participants can be able to save more time and effort assuming that the ICO they're advertising was a scam simply because it's easier to mitigate. In short, they feel more secured.
3. There's a greater quota, usually 25-30 posts per week compare to bounty only having 15 posts. Meaning, much frequent advertising within a week which is favorable for the developers of course.

Furthermore, to ensure a succesful campaign, choosing a campaign manager is also a factor to be considered. You should pick the one who's punctual (from updating the spreadsheet to sending of payments), always approachable for case of queries and strict to implementation of rules but still reasonable. Thus, considering yahoo62278 or Zapo would be a great choice. Good luck Smiley.
2470  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bounty manager ratings based in forum members comments on: September 03, 2018, 11:46:57 PM
We don't really need to rely on the percentage for each bounty hunters above because in the first place, there's a possibility of being inaccurate, and second, meron tayong Trust ratings to verify their credibility by our own. Ang trust rating ng isang campaign manager ang magsa-sum up kung magaling talaga sya or not. Kung sya ay may 0 or positive rating then magandang sign yun dahil ibig sabihin lang na maganda ang flow ng work nya — from the hiring of participants up to the payment. This is also an implication na alam nyang pumili ng campaign na imamanage nya kasi bakit sya magakakapositive rating kung puro shady projects ang natatanggap nya, right? Grin.

Along the list, si yahoo62278 ang nakatrabaho ko ng maraming beses. Sa mga campaigns nya na nasalihan ko,  lahat ay smooth ang transaction at never ako nakaranas ng anumang aberya. He is one of the best manager I've known, no doubt Smiley.
2471  Other / Meta / Re: How can we stimulate Bitcoin Talk? on: September 03, 2018, 02:25:34 PM
The only way to get a decent conversation is to talk about difficult topics
Yup! This is also the way I found to escape the boredom and robot-feeling I experienced everyday inside our forum. I frequently get tired of dealing with the repetitive and nonsense posts from the most visited boards, so as a relief, I'm now becoming more active engaging with discussions like this because I know that it's worthier of my time and effort. Tbough I know that posting here in Meta as well as to the other serious boards were very hard, I never settle for less and always do my very best to be a competitive member or at least not becoming a cancer of this forum.

The difficulty here challenges me a lot. It makes me feel alive Grin.
Indeed, roaming around in Developmental and Technical Discussion really gives me a headache
You are still considered lucky dude, because in my case, I'm a MORON when it comes to those matters lol Grin. But I'm looking forward that someday I will be able to participate on those kind of discussions too right after I become more knowledgeable.
2472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: September 03, 2018, 04:00:27 AM
It's not.
So you mean that 1% - 2% of recovery are worthless? Just to be clear, even how small the recoveries are, it was still an improvement after all and you cannot discount it. I think you're just become exaggerated to that one Grin.

Nonetheless, I do agree with your title. Small ups cannot be considered a major sign of a "skyrocket". Crypto is naturally volatile, remember? Meaning, it's normal to experience ups and downs in this field everyday. All of us should get used to it and treat this kind of situations as "nothing special".

But then again, there's also nothing wrong if you will get a little bit hype and be hopeful every time it happens because that's a natural response of an investor. Just always keep in mind, remain calm and expect less because the more you expect the more it hurts.
2473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: September 02, 2018, 11:33:26 PM
Do you regret it ?
No regets at all because I didn't miss the opportunity to sell a month before that when btc is at its peak Grin. And besides, I sold almost all of my coins that month so there's only few left during January that's why I refuse to sell.

I just feel a little bit upset because I didn't expect that btc will drop too far. I thought that btc's price is bad during the couple of months this 2018, but I'm all wrong, now is worse based on the current situation of the market. Crypto is full of surprises but I'm now starting get used to it Grin.
do you believe BTC will create a new ATH ?
Honestly, I doubt that btc will make a new ATH this year. But based on the current performance of, it will not be impossible to attain as long as the price hike continues. Let's just hope that this is now the start of the bullish run we all waiting for Smiley.
2474  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator please stop this spammer ( Added new ) on: September 02, 2018, 01:21:34 AM
Oops! All of his posts went gone, check his profile. There are two possible reason for this. 1. The mods didn't ban him and just only deleted all of his spam posts (which is bad because he could repeat his bad habit again, who knows?) and 2. He outsmart us, he was suddenly alarmed by this thread so he intentionally deleted all of his posts to escape the charge.

Well, the latter possibility seems impossible to happen because he is a spammer. Why would a spammer will go to a serious board like Meta? Right? — That was a risky move.
2475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eminem's New Song [Album] mentions Bitcoin :D on: September 01, 2018, 06:31:52 AM
I'm not sure how many of you follow him but that dude just dropped an album unexpectedly. While listening to it, I came across this song https://open.spotify.com/track/28FGV3ORH14MYORd7s5dlU?si=tqIkvUmtSLKMPLaNuvddDw
I saw a lyric video of this song in Youtube and it's so cool Cheesy. Though I wasn't able to hear Eminem's vocals (due to copyright issues I guess), I'm still amazed because the beat was so awesome (I can't wait to download his new album). RapGod rocks.

Anyway, I don't think this news will create enough hype to cause pump in the market, but nevertheless, it feels good that crypto (bitcoin in this case) is now getting more popular than before Smiley.
2476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ongoing ICO's ? on: September 01, 2018, 05:06:50 AM
Dude the search bar, whether inside this forum or in Google, was always open. You could also try to look on the board of Alternative Cryptocurrencies (try on the Announcement or Marketplace section) as well as in the Services section. Good luck Smiley.

But since you are finding for an ICO. I'll recommend IOU: True P2P E-Commerce Loyalty Platform on Blockchain. You can put this into your list Smiley, here's the link: https://iou.io/.
2477  Other / Meta / Re: Expiry date for topics? on: September 01, 2018, 02:36:44 AM
Scrolling through there are so many posts with repeated replies
Seems that you're complaining, if so then stop because you are not different from the others. You do the same thing as well Grin.
And mostly more recent posts with litle replies go to the bottom of our feed.

Yeah! The struggle is real. Many new topics only having few replies are easily transcended by the megathreads and/or old spammy threads. Well, there's no concrete rule regarding this meaning you're not liable to any violation if you do this. But as a quality poster, much better if you will not get used to these stuffs simply because that was an unhealthy habit.

@For the guilty ones ~ I just  hope that they will understand what I'm talking about soon. Maybe they will as soon as they relized that doing these stuffs makes feel them not a human anymore. That you're like a robot — bored and lifeless.

Quote
Scrolling through there are so many posts with repeated replies, and some other posts which are giving wrong information
The best thing you can do to get rid of posts like these is to hit the "Report to Moderator" button in those posts which are useless that you were talking about.
I agree somehow but if it happened only because of human error and really don't have any bad intentions of spreading a hoax from the very beginning then that was considerable. Maybe advising him to do a revision or locking the thread are enough disciplinary actions already. (IMO)
2478  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to recruit other person to join Blockchain technology? on: August 31, 2018, 02:08:51 PM
I think majority of people here are very selfish ,. Believe it or not.
If that's what you believed in then I'm proud to say to you that I belong on the minority Smiley.
They don't want to spread the mechanism of it. And that is very wrong for me.
If the only reason why they refuse to promote blockchain techmology was only because of selfishness then that's very wrong. No doubt about it. But keep in mind that is not the single reason existing, you should also consider other possible reasons. Like in my case, I once become active in educating and encouraging my classmates about cryptocurrency (btc to be specific) but since they do not show any interest at all (they only want a not risky and fast money) and I got rejected always, I stopped. Well, you can't blame me because it's like that I only wasted my time foe nothing.
2479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy ETH ! on: August 31, 2018, 08:05:40 AM
Honestly, I haven't noticed that Eth currently has a very low price. I just now realized that I'm missing a big opportunity to have a coin hoarding due to the fact that I am more focused to btc lately, I forgot about the alts and I'm not aware of that either. Sorry, my bad Grin. But anyway, I believe that it's not too late so I think I should now have some more investment not only to Eth but also to Xrp and Bch. No doubt on its profitability, that would be a good choice for sure since they are the preceding coins after btc. I just hope that I can be able to have more savings before the bullish run comes.
2480  Other / Meta / Re: Can we stop polls being made in certain parts of the forum? on: August 31, 2018, 04:52:51 AM
I don't want to pull up examples of this but every week or so I spot a newbie who is trying to get an answer to their question in the Bitcoin Technical Support section and they add a useless poll in the hope of adding something extra to their thread so people will spot it.
Oh! Those newbies again Roll Eyes. I really wonder why they can't understand that they should not open a thread or post in a board that they're not familiar with. Are they a total dumbass or just hard headed? Probably both.
Say the topics subject is "Have I lost my bitcoin?"

The poll would then read:
Question: "Have I lost my bitcoin?"(same as the subject)
The answers are then either:
• Yes they're gone
• No they're not
or
• Have I
• Lost my Bitcoin.

What a nonsense poll, so disappointing. That should be reported to the mods (I'm sure you did already).

Honestly, I'm not a harsh person when it comes in dealing with newbies. Every time I see lapses on their post, I just criticize them in a nice manner, gently tell them what's wrong and give them some tips also. I do this because for me being a newbie is an understandable case and besides, there's always a room for improvemnet. But since the newbie infestation (pertaining to the guilty ones only) becomes worse which is really getting into my nerve, I guess should stop being nice now.
I think if you start to get really annoyed by these sorts of little things then this forum is just going to drive you insane  Cheesy.
Indeed, I am a living proof since I really can't help to feel annoyed. From now on, if I see posts like on OP's example (especially in our local board), I will not hesitate now to click the "Report to moderator" button. No more talks at all.
