In a few parts of the world - mostly jungle tribes - they don't even know how babies come about. They just do it, and haven't put together the fact that their doing it 9 months ago was what caused the baby. Of course, the fact that they do it a lot is part of what messes with their timing. So, they wonder what the real cause is.

China's population is falling off because of past limitations on family size. And now that the restrictions have been lifted, people seem to like smaller families. So, they aren't changing.

And it is similar for many countries. To replace the population in a country, parents need to have on average 2 children per family... one to replace the father, and the other to replace the mother. But many Western countries don't have this, now. It's less.

In the past, the idea of conspiracy theory might have been something like, "Russia good, the West bad." Now that it is turning out that the West is looking bad, the conspiracy ideas are changing. You US propagandists are the real conspiracy theorists.

You are the one who knows this guy, so you know better than other people about this case. But...

People live life and do things for various reasons. There are married people here and there who live in different houses, even.

If this guy has been 'bought' by this woman, and if they are compatible, and if they are married, they are benefiting each other. His benefit might be a good place to live, and a few toys. But if he is servicing her needs properly - even if he doesn't really like her disability - he is more or less like a loving live-in nurse. And what better way to be a nurse than than by giving her sexual fulfillment, and receiving the same?... plus a whole lot more between the both of them.

People have all kinds of reasons for doing what they do. This might be a good setup for both of them. Of course, you being closer to the situation might know better.

But there are tons of people living together, who are married, but not entirely fulfilled by the life of the partner. In some cases there are formal disabilities. In other cases there are simple emotional disabilities that have never been diagnosed. Maybe we all are a little like this.

As far as demilitarization of countries goes, to disarm them means that you have to be stronger than they are. That's often why there are wars... one country trying to disarm another country.

The US isn't any more peaceful than Iran or Russia. They simply do their killing very sneakily. Consider all the people they put in jail for not paying taxes, and all the families they break up this way. First they conquer the people. Then they make them play ball through taxation.

Disarmament and demilitarization of nations is a tricky thing to do if you want to keep true peace.

I wonder how many of the soldiers who are killed in the war, just before they die, if they don't have some regrets about joining as a soldier in something as stupid as a war. I've been seeing some people try to downplay the numbers on social media, but footage from the Rage Against the War Machine rally makes it clear that attendance was in the thousands; people who were there place the number at around three thousand.

This is significantly better attendance than any other American anti-war demonstration in recent years that I'm aware of. It's nowhere remotely close to the historic numbers people demonstrated in to protest the war in Iraq, and it's nowhere remotely close to what it should be for an issue of such existential importance.

But it's a start. Maybe the start of something good. The ANSWER Coalition has a March on Washington scheduled for March 18th for the 20th anniversary of the Iraq invasion demanding "Negotiations not escalation" in Ukraine and an end to US militarism abroad. We shall see if this thing continues to pick up steam.

The main point about a currency is that it is controlled by banks or governments. Before we get a one-world currency, we need to find a method to do it that is totally decentralized, so that nobody controls how it works. Why? Because controllers get paid for their work, like anybody else on a job. But currency controllers can mess with our lives to actually steal from us by adjusting the way that the currency works.

Other than that, all it takes is bargaining between people... face to face over computer screens. And, of course, language barrier removal.

Note that Bitcoin combined with Nostr just might be the start of something like this. Nostr is about as decentralized as you can get. The trick is trust in Bitcoin, when you don't literally meet the other person in your transaction, and when you have to trust that he is going to send the product you paid him for.
