Sanctions really mean cutting commercial relations, so the effect is maximised if you  can achieve a strong asymmetrical response. Sanctions against the RF cannot produce such an immediate effect as they would against another more developed country - I will explain: The RF's economy is strongly based on exports of commodities, it is a BRICS country with a bit of extra industrialisation - old and inefficient, but...

There in an interesting video on the matter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9w17Ne1S0M

The average citizen of the RF does not exist. There is an abyss between the elites in Moscow and St Petersburg and the shitty periphery and dominated republics. Empires do fall, but not in a year.

Who wants Russia? Everybody. But they know they are not strong enough to take her away from the Russians. China wants Russia. India wants Russia. Some nations in Africa want Russia. Some nations in the Middle East want Russia. The US and Nato want Russia. Since they are not strong enough to forcefully take her away from the Russians, how will they do it?

The US and Nato are trying to take Russia militarily and through sanctions. But if they did, that would leave nothing for China and the rest of the nations... and these other nations know it. So, what are the rest of the nations doing? They are going around the sanctions.

The world elite need help. Take an elite person, and stick him in the desert without food and water. What happens? He dies, just like anybody else. The elite need their citizens. And to remain elite, they need to constantly con their citizens into believing all kinds of lies, so that their citizens keep on supporting them.

When the citizens wake up to the lies of their elite leaders, there are revolutions, and the elite die at the hands of their citizens. Look at history around the world to see this.

The elite have a tricky game to play. They need to lie to their citizens to get wealth, but they need to be careful with their lies so it won't backfire on them.

The other nations of the world are going around the US/Nato sanctions. The sanctions are backfiring on the US/Nato. If the US/Nato isn't careful, they will make enemies out of the rest of the world. As the Mongols did under the leadership of Genghis Khan, they will rise up out of China and go all the way this time... wiping even the West off the face of the earth.

God pays well, and especially if one does it from his heart.

Matthew 19:27-30:
27Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”

28Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

Luke 18:28-30:
28Peter said to him, “We have left all we had to follow you!”

29“Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life.”

The only way to get rid of racism is to stop talking about it. This includes stopping those who promote it as though it were something.

What we call racism is really somebody or group trying to harm somebody or some other group. Go after anybody who does you real harm, rather than calling it racism of some kind.

Did somebody defame you? Take him to court for defamation of character, not racism. Did somebody beat you? Take him to court for damages for the beating, not for racism.

People are all people. Freedom of speech. Punish the wrongdoers. The racism idea is nothing but a big bunch of talk that is trying to disrupt society.

Yes in deed as a christian, christ like and christ followers and we are surposed to have every things in as a redemmed child of God,as bible said.so my question is that why are christian still poor, when the bible says christ was rich and for our sake he was made poor that we should be rich, then why are there still poor christians,to the exstent of cross carpeting to muslims.i think we the so call christians are the problem,1 the knowledge of the scripture is not there that is why they know not how to enter the city.

Let me answer. The answer won't be complete, because the knowledge of mankind isn't complete. But first, doesn't your browser have a spellchecker?

When Jesus was being tempted in the wilderness after not eating for 40 days and nights, the Tempter (Satan) came to Him and said, "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones be made into bread." Jesus answered, "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God."

What words have come out of the mouth of God? Consider creation... the 6 days that God spoke everything into being. God made the physics of the universe. Nobody - not even scientists - know all the physics that God spoke into the universe. In fact, Jesus is the only man Who knows all the physics of God, because, "In Him are found all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

This is the same Jesus Who said, "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God." So, to start with, we need to recognize that all of our health and miracle-doing have to do with "every word that comes out of the mouth of God." In other words, the universe is a unit, one unit, and whatever happens anywhere affects everything everywhere.

More directly speaking, speaking to your points, when is it that you are contradicting the things that you ask for, and the healthfullness that you want to have, simply by being ignorant of how things work, but also by wanting things that are against God and the physics of the universe? Ephesians 4:10:
He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.
So, maybe you don't have the great faith in Jesus that you think you have.

This is a simple answer, and really, just a start. There is so much more, that a book could be written. Rather, fill yourself on the book that has been written, the Bible... especially the New Testament. Find out if you really have the faith that you think you have, because, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes by the word of Christ." Really fill yourself, all the time, throughout the day... every day.

Again, the war is about banking, and the people running the USD Ponzi trying to maintain power in the world. It didn't just start yesterday, or with the so-called Russian invasion of Ukraine. It started way back before WW2... and included the bombing of Japan with nukes.

So, what's wrong with the USD Ponzi? After all, it gave peace to the world, right? YES, but... Peace at the expense of the lives and prosperity of millions of Americans and people of other countries who thought they were getting freedom by acknowledging the US banking system. Foreclosures, heartbreak, stress, giant companies creating things like Covid and the killing of as many as 2 billion people worldwide.

So it is the world banking system that is enlsaving the world, not the potential slavery done by BRICS and their comrade countries.

Escobar: The Inside Story Of Russia-Iran-India Connectivity

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/escobar-inside-story-russia-iran-india-connectivity
Make no mistake about what the G7's Hiroshima Communique is all about.

The setting: a city in neo-colony Japan nuclear-bombed 78 years ago by the United States, for which it made no excuses.

The message: the G7, actually G9 (augmented by two unelected Eurocrats) declares war – hybrid and otherwise – against BRICS+, which has 25 nations on its waiting list and counting.

The G7's key strategic objective is the defeat of Russia, followed by the subjugation of China. For the G7/G9, these – real – powers are the main "global threats" to "freedom and democracy."

The corollary is that the Global South must toe the line – or else. Call it a remix of the early 2000s "you're either with us or against us."

Meanwhile, in the real world – that of productive economies – the dogs of war bark while the New Silk Road caravans keep marching on.

The key New Silk Roads of emerging multipolarity are China's ambitious, multi-trillion-dollar Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Russia-Iran-India International North South Transportation Corridor (INSTC). They have evolved in parallel and may sometimes overlap. What is clear is the G7/G9 will go to the ends of the earth to undermine them.

All about Chabahar

The recent $1.6 billion deal between Iran and Russia to build the 162-km long Rasht-Astara railway is an INSTC game-changer. Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazpash and Russia's Minister of Transport Vialy Saveliev signed the deal in Tehran, in front of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and with Russian President Vladimir Putin attending on video conference.

"Redrawing Global Trade Map": Top Russian Miner Now Receives Half Of Its Revenue In Asia

https://www.zerohedge.com/commodities/redrawing-global-trade-map-top-russian-miner-now-receives-half-its-revenue-asia
However, Western sanctions have backfired as Russian companies are redrawing commodity flows from the West to Asia.

The latest example of global supply chains being rejiggered comes from Russia's biggest miner MMC Norilsk Nickel PJSC. Bloomberg said the miner recorded 45% of revenue from Asia for the first quarter of 2023. Traditionally, its revenue from Europe is the largest but plunged to 24%. Asia's revenue share has increased from 27% in 2021 to 31% in 2022 to 45% in 2023.

Nornickel controls about 7% of global nickel output and 40% of palladium. The US and UK have imposed sanctions on Norilsk Nickel's top shareholder and president, Vladimir Potanin. But no sanctions have been placed on the miner. However, the company faces challenges such as shipping, insurance, and logistics in getting products to Western countries, which is one of the main reasons the miner has easily found new customers in Asia.

Nornickel sought to increase sales to China this year, in some cases offering metals for yuan, people familiar with the matter said in March. Those prices are set in Shanghai, a sign of how the conflict is redrawing the global trade map for commodities and handing greater power to China, they said. --Bloomberg

Western sanctions have pushed Russia and China closer:

Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded his Russian visit on Wednesday without much progress on peace in Ukraine. China, however, has pushed for deeper trade and investment links with its northern neighbor using its own currency. That suggests the path of least resistance for yuan internationalization now runs through Moscow instead of London or Singapore. -- Bloomberg Markets Live reporter George Lei wrote in March.

But all they need to do is look at crime and demoralization in US places like Chicago, Los Angeles, some of New York, and especially San Francisco, to see that the tail of the banking system is finally catching up with the body. If they succeed in their doings, they will be bringing catastrophe on themselves, or their descendants. The world banking system is a Ponzi and a lie.

"There's Poop Everywhere": San Francisco's Office District Not Only A Ghost Town, It's Also Covered In Sh*t

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/theres-poop-everywhere-san-franciscos-office-district-not-only-ghost-town-its-also
Everyone knows that San Francisco is the nation's largest public toilet - requiring the city to employ six-figure 'poop patrol' cleanup team, however a new report from the city Controller's Office really puts things in poo-spective.

For starters, feces were found far more often in commercial sectors, covering "approximately 50% of street segments in Key Commercial Areas and 30% in the Citywide survey," second only to broken glass as can be seen in the 'illegal dumping' section.

If you're wondering about the city's fecal methodology, look no further than a footnote on page 43;

Feces also includes bags filled with feces that are not inside trash receptacles. Feces that are spread or smeared on the street, sidewalk, or other objects along the evaluation route are counted. Stains that appear to be related to feces but have been cleaned are not counted. Bird droppings are excluded.

As far as where most of the poo is found, Nob Hill takes the top spot, followed by the Tenderloin and The Mission districts.

"It's terrible; this street is covered," Tenderloin resident Joe Souza told The San Francisco Standard earlier this month. "There's poop everywhere. You always see it along the wall and in front of the garage there."

Meanwhile, nearly 2/3 of key commercial routes reported moderate to severe street litter, vs. 41% of the citywide streets struggling with the same problem.

A child or youth who is under age is responsible to his parents - if they are adults - or to his grandparents if his parents are under age. As a child or underage youth, he legally is not responsible for his promises and statements without parental consent, except that a judge in a court of law has adjudicated that he is responsible as/like an adult.

When an underage person comes of age (becomes and adult) and has not been placed into a position where the question of childhood promises ever comes up, the question remains open, even though assumptions/presumptions are made about how he upholds certain of his underage promises.

Underage youth promises don't mean squat, legally, until they are confirmed after the youth comes of age... except at the adjudication of a judge in a court of law for a underage youth. This holds true for the Common Law countries - USA, Canada, Britain, Australia, Guyana (South America), India (in part), and a few others. In addition, there are probably other countries, which have Civil Law systems, or other systems of law, that uphold this underage idea.

See https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/92/Map_of_the_Legal_systems_of_the_world_%28en%29.png.

While it is a good idea to explain things to everybody, and especially kids, probably a load of adults like some of the ideals of Communism, simply because they don't understand how these ideals take away from their freedom, or the freedom of their descendants. But often life is too difficult for them to find time to begin to think about these things.

What is the truth? There is solid evidence both ways... that Hitler died in Germany, and that Hitler went to Argentina.

Were dental records faked and lied about, the ones that show that the corpse in Germany was really Hitler?

The many documents in Argentina make that story seem real. But, could they have been faked with a Hitler lookalike?

?The king of the café-concert turns 82 with the certainty of having seen the German leader and his lover Eva Braun. He was with his great friend China Zorrilla.

And he recounted the event this way with his great friend: "We were having tea with China Zorrilla in the restaurant of a very nice hotel in Bariloche and the waiter told us that since we were very important artists who came from Buenos Aires, the owner of the place wanted to meet us. He told us that he lived next door and out of pure rabble we went to meet him."

1690  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are these two concepts like happiness and joy for you? on: May 25, 2023, 08:46:58 PM
Happiness is a milder expression of joy, or an expression of hope that something is moving towards joy.

The fact of the resurrection is like a science fiction story, except that it is real. We will all be raised to life at the last day of the existence of this earth... and maybe this whole universe. The resurrection for me is something that takes away a lot of fear of death. Jesus took the penalty for my mistakes in front of God. This makes my resurrection to be a joyful thing.

Oh sure. I fear the idea of having pain in this life, and in death. But I know that such pain will only last for a short time, even if it seems long, and that God is protecting me even in this life, because of what Jesus did for me (us). Then my time will be forever with God, Who wanted to be my Father, and Who became my Father rather than an enemy, because of what Jesus did for me (us) on the cross.

You can make my joy even greater, by showing me that you accept Jesus as your Savior. We will be in Heaven, together... in righteousness, for ever and ever.

Eternity is a long time. We need all the people we can get to be with us in Heaven, just so we can have joy in each other in eternity. I pity those who will not accept their Jesus-salvation. Eternity without God and without the joy of joyful contact even with other people will be terrible for them... as they are dissolved further and further toward nothingness for ever and ever.

It's kind of amazing that you talk like you know what your own topic is about, but then show that you really don't know... right in the same words. That's quite a skill you have there.

War is not something that major nations simply, on a whim, decide to do today, without any reason for it. The reasons for the war, are actually part of the war. If there were no reasons, there would be no war. So, essentially, the war starts with the reasons for it and behind it.

Cool

You are diverting the topic again. The topic does not talk about the cause of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, but specifically about the old complete fool Putin, who started this war without calculating the resources, thinking that Russia would capture Kiev in 2-3 days. And if we talk about the reason for the war, then it is simple - Putin wants to restore Russia to its former borders.

You and your goofy "stay on topic" stuff. Don't you even realize that when you talk like that, you are talking off topic? Or are you making "off topic" your new topic?

Seems to me that you are blindly looking for somebody who simply agrees with everything you say. And that's what you call "on topic." Anybody who has discussion with you that is opposed to your ideas is "off topic"... in your view.

The amount of Reddit tier cope that's going to justify how losing Bakhmut is actually a good thing.

The reality is, it was a very strategically important city because it now gives them access to a lot of roads a geographically significant areas. Over the coming weeks/months, expect Russia to take a lot of territory pushing up to the next/final cities in the Donbass region.

There is nothing good about loosing Bakhmut, but it does not change much the strategic map nor possibilities.

As of now, the RF fails in all that is not shelling cities and using cannon fodder to take them. It has been months since they cannot make any significant advance outside that type of dirty battle that leaves you with lots of losses and basically a flat land. Now they are trying to make Bakhmut a big thing, like a great victory or the like, but it is not, is in fact a very minimal progress.

You can only help people of non-white races so much. Consider blacks. Sure, they were exploited somewhat when they came to Britain and the US. But they were helped a lot more. How were they helped? Through being brought to lands of opportunity... which many of them have taken advantage of.
You consider America as a land of opportunities and Africa a land of what? You people came with Christianity but Christ told us that we should treat others how we want to be treated and should love our neighbor as ourselves. So these missionaries were hypocrites. You claim you are good Christians but you treated humans less than animals. What did you do to be an American? How much did you pay for you to be born in America? What did you give to God or humanity to be an American? Nothing. What was my offense for my parents to be African? I did nothing. We don't choose our place of origin. It is God that positioned us on different continents. I am sure that if you were from Africa, you will not write this piece. It is hurtful and provocative

Quote
How did blacks (their ancestors) become slaves in the first place? They were sold to whites and other blacks by black slave traders, mostly in Africa. So, while their lot might have been hard, they should actually be paying whites for saving them.
Who showed interest to buy slaves first? Who gave our fathers arms to fight so that the number of slaves will increase? Who instigated wars in Africa? How will those vast plantations in the new world get laborers? The slave trade was the creation of the Europeans and some greedy local chiefs became collaborators. The chiefs that refuse to engage in slave trading were attacked and conquered by European-backed chiefs. Now to think of it, do you think the involvement of African traditional rulers justifies the inhuman activities of Europeans?

No amount of reparation can replace the loss of lives caused by the slave trade. Africans lost their best breeds because of this selfish and brutal path. And it becomes more painful when people want to justify sin.

Your problem is this simple. You are trying to get reparations from people who didn't have anything to do with harming you, Africans, or your/their ancestors.

Find someone who is a slave, or find someone who has ancestors who were slaves, and then find the people who made them slaves.  Then go after those slave traders for reparations.

If a thief steals something from me, who do I go after to get it back? I go after the thief... not after a nation of people who had nothing to do with what the thief did, and couldn't have stopped the thief if they even knew what was going on.

The life of blacks in America became better just by being in America. How do we know? There aren't many who want to go back. So, stop being so racist against whites who helped Africans out by making their life better, even if they were slaves.

All you want to do with your racism against whites is to steal from other people. You don't care who they are, really. They could be green Martians, and you would go after them if you thought you could get away with stealing something from them.

Slavery is Constitutional in at leas two ways:

1. The mindset of the people who were behind the Constitution that they wrote, was a mindset of allowed slavery. This means that all their Constitutional writings were written with allowed slavery in mind, as well as a whole lot of other things... including correctly done freedom for a slave.

The 14th Amendment takes freed slaves and turns them into a thing called citizens. What are citizens? They are slaves of the government that they are citizens of. Before the 14th Amendment, the US government essentially had no man/woman citizens.

2. Article I, Section 10, Clause 1 in the Constitution, is known as the Contract Clause, the right to contract. If a man/woman, having complete understanding of what they are doing, contract themselves into slavery to another, there is nothing that can prevent this, legally and lawfully. The courts have adjudicated that people are free to enter into contracts, and that government doesn't have any authority over this freedom - https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution-conan/article-1/section-10/clause-1/contract-clause. In fact, all contracts bind their makers into slavery in a fashion, by limiting their freedom in some ways.

In fact, the only reason why people are required to pay IRS taxes is because they have contracted themselves into doing so... although few people understand this, or how to contract out. The IRS Form W-4 is a quasi-contract that binds a person into a form of slavery to the IRS.

You can only help people of non-white races so much. Consider blacks. Sure, they were exploited somewhat when they came to Britain and the US. But they were helped a lot more. How were they helped? Through being brought to lands of opportunity... which many of them have taken advantage of.

How did blacks (their ancestors) become slaves in the first place? They were sold to whites and other blacks by black slave traders, mostly in Africa. So, while their lot might have been hard, they should actually be paying whites for saving them.
I thought you used to be all religious and Christianity based. If that be, you wouldn't justify slavery by any claims like you talking about being thankful for being brought yo a land of opportunity you call it and that blacks did sold blacks for slavery. In essence, all these somehow justifies what was done to the black race from the times past!
Saint Paul says, 1 Corinthians 7:21:
Quote
Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so.
So, slavery done in the right, Christian way is Christian.

You really get to amaze me the way you've coined this.
It not like the blacks were all peaceful before the arrival of there colonial masters but, the arrival of the foreign race stirred up grief, pushed for more wars than necessary in Africa and most of them forks ended up at the end of a whip.  Not to mention the conditions these guys where put through from transportation down to surviving on a farm. Where you have your wife been taken before your eyes...

It's just not worth saying but, don't try to bring it into context for any comparison, it just doesn't feel any appealing.
Certainly crimes are always being done. These kinds of crimes are still being done between some influential employers and their employees. The wrong part is to redo the crimes against and between races... even the race of employers vs. the race of employees. The question is how to deal with each crime on an individual basis, so that criminality is not done to the innocent.

No offense, but I find a kind of racism in your presentation of the subject, especially that you present the subject in the form of constants, while they are relative ideas that are subject to interpretation in different forms.
I may be wrong in my evaluation of the way you put forward the subject, but I would really like to deal with matters on the basis of the relative evaluation and interpretation that may differ from one person to another.

I am sorry if my evaluation of your subject holds a biased point of view, because blacks are human beings who live like us in societies that are subject to all kinds of pressures and even exploitation as peoples whose history was distorted by colonialism in various forms.
Thank you. The point of the article - though it is hidden somewhat - is that of racism in different directions. Slavery doesn't have anything to do with racism. Slavery is simply between the master and the slave, no matter the race of either. Reparations as they are generally touted, have to do with, and are, racist.

In the big picture, reparations are simply a way for somebody to make money by inciting the races against each other, and then profiting off the insurrection that follows.

Rasmussen told me that although it’s easy to make the case that black citizens are owed reparations—the right to own slaves is embedded in the Constitution, after all—this doesn’t mean that the case being made has any real substance. The idea of reparations, noted Rasmussen, fails for many reasons.
...

Do you mean that the right to own slaves exists in the current US Constitution? Or is he talking about the old constitution when it was legal to own slaves in the United States? please explain.

Putin wants the Russian people to back Russia so much, that he is at least suggesting the right to bear arms to them. Not only that, but he is advising Americans to keep their guns.

I think we all know why. What started as a police action in Ukraine, showed Putin that the whole West banking system is as corrupt as can be, and that he needs us all to fight banking corruption. But it's true that if we don't, we will all become slaves... to the banks.

Putin Tells U.S. Citizens "Do Not Give Up Your Guns"

However, the U.S. government seem determined to take that right away from its citizens, amid Russia doing the exact opposite. President Putin wants to give Russian citizens the freedom to chose whether or not they arm themselves.

Politicalvelcraft.org reports:

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items.

People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the ??!?? (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

Do Whites Also Deserve Reparations?

In the United States, calls for reparations are, once again, heating up. A Duke University professor recently called for $14 trillion in reparations for the descendants of American slavery (roughly $350,000 per recipient).

The professor, William Darity, isn't the only one calling for reparations. The mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, has established a task force that will explore compensation for black citizens. In New York City, Mayor Eric Adams has signaled his support for the idea. Detroit’s Reparations Task Force is currently exploring forms of compensation for the city’s black residents. Similar events are taking place in St. Louis. In early May, California’s reparations task force approved recommendations that could see some black residents receive $1.2 million each as compensation for slavery and racial discrimination.

Reparations are a terrible idea. Calls for race-based compensation appeal to emotion, not logic. First, how do we define slavery? Contrary to popular belief, African Americans weren’t the only victims of slavery. As Stephan Talty, an author who has researched slavery in great detail, has noted, white people were also the victims of slavery.

In a piece for Salon, a hyper-progressive online magazine, Talty discussed the fact that, contrary to popular belief, white slavery did occur prior to the occurrence of the Civil War. Talty referenced the work of Joel Augustus Rogers, a historian who meticulously documented the many ways in which whites were kidnapped and sold into slavery. These kidnappings occurred from the early 1700s right up until 1861, the year the Civil War started. Some of the victims were orphans or unwanted babies, while others were impoverished immigrants. White slavery occurred in America. This is an inconvenient truth that receives little or no attention, probably because it contradicts the "white privilege" narrative that continues to do the rounds.

Even if we were to agree on a definition of slavery, how are we supposed to verify those that claim to be victims? Then, of course, there's the matter of financing reparations. Where will the money come from?

For comment on the matter, I reached out to David W. Rasmussen, the director of the Policy Sciences Center at Florida State University. Rasmussen recently published a paper discussing reparations for black citizens, and why such a system of redress for past injustices deserves criticism.

Rasmussen told me that although it’s easy to make the case that black citizens are owed reparations—the right to own slaves is embedded in the Constitution, after all—this doesn’t mean that the case being made has any real substance. The idea of reparations, noted Rasmussen, fails for many reasons.
