2461  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 12, 2017, 07:17:38 PM

There is hope to get our money back? sad thing we won't our coins back

By all accounts, as it's structure now there is no hope of getting over 20% of your money returned.

That said, I do have a plan on how to make Cryptsy's class action filers whole again. In fact, if all  goes according to plan they'll come out like bandits.

No, this is not a joke and am willing to disclose the basics on this thread prior to dedicating a new thread to the ideal.

Anybody interested, say aye!

Bruno

PS: It'd cost you nothing to participate.

Aye!

Aye!

Okay, here's the plan: I create this new coin ...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Seriously, guys, that's the plan, but allow me to present a brief while your dick's still hard.

Firstly, as promised there's no money needing to be paid to participate provided you've successfully filed a class action claim, providing proof of said claim being the most problematic aspect of my plan, but sure there's a solution of which I wouldn't be privy to vitals, with a general idea on how to accomplish said feat.

The token I've alluded to is CoinProLite (CPL) -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1900371.0 (same link as in my sig).

In lieu of, or in conjunction with burning schitcoins, up to 700M CPL (U$7M worth on YuTübopolis' platform, valued at no less than U$0.01 ea.) could easily be doled to those harmed by Cryptsy who've successfully filed a class action claim.

This awardment would be over and beyond what you'll receive once the class action lawsuit is settled months (maybe years) down the road.

e.g.: If you lost $1,000 worth of alts (or actual fiat would apply), whatever the exchange rate for any particular alt at the time that Cryptsy closed is exactly what you would receive in CPL, in this case 100K CPL.

To be clear, you're not burning anything nor giving me anything of value including your vitals.

Any questions at this point?

Bruno

I am a new bitcoin user. I recently bought bitcoin off of www.wallofcoins.com. they are suppose to be escrow for buyers and sellers. After 5 days of my account being in review by someone named john macpherson, i started to do some research, his name comes up on this thread many times. It is very concerning because it appears this thread was created over a fraudulent event.

Can someone tell me how this guy john fits into the crypsty scandal. I feel like he is holding my money at ransom for personal information, so they can steal my identity.

Thank you kindly

I just sent them the below: https://wallofcoins.com/en/

Horus, please fix this ASAP.

Do none of you understand how scaling an infrastructure works? They've had a huge increase in traffic and users which is putting huge stress on their infrastructure. No doubt they're adding huge amounts of servers daily to help cope. Give it a little bit of time and I'm sure it'll be as smooth as it used to!

Assuming I don't understand how scaling an infrastructure works, which I do (okay, maybe just more than somewhat, but I digress), I do understand that a U$117.21M is more than enough to build a massive robust trading platform, and so do the deep-pocket investors who infused said U$117.21M to Coinbase, not counting the countless millions earned by CB over the course of its lifetime.

https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/coinbase#/entity

Which begs the questions, why isn't said robust trading platform built by Coinbase, why aren't the initial investors pressing for such, and is it possible that it's to the best interest of Coinbase and its investors in having the problematic platform perform exactly as it has been over the years because a robust system just wouldn't be as profitable due there being less chances for human interference?

I'm willing to bet that there's trading platforms readily available for less than U$2M that include support with, perhaps, even providing on-demand free blowjobs at that price point.

Addressing the "ayes" in a sec, guys.

You're making FUD about a boat now? LOL. Why don't you reach out to the Zcash, PIVX, or the other projects and ask how many were on the boat. The diagram you have is of the middle floor, the speaking room was in the bottom floor (no tables). You're really grasping for straws at this point. Also, you're not an international super star, so yea, 99.9% of people outside of this forum (Chinese or not) have not heard of you Wink

What a fucin idiot! How many Chinese dicks did you have to suck to become part of Team Qtum, earlz?

I don't give a shit if it was an upper deck, middle deck, lower deck, or some meeting room on the Queen Mary, the fact remains that there were not even close to 100 people in the room to listen to Patrick Dai speak, with Qtum being the main draw. Look at the fuckin pics above and count the people yourself, you fuckin moron.

My post was meant to demonstrate how Team Qtum is lyin' through their fuckin Chinese tight asses.

Re my superstar status, you totally missed, again, what the fuck I was alluding to - people in Chinese, who speak Chinese, and write Chinese are continually posting negative comments about Qtum on a Chinese mag, where 99.9% don't have a fuckin clue as to who I  am, ERGO they DID NOT get their information from an old western man who doesn't have a job, thus they came to their own conclusions about Qtum regardless their age, but rest assures they'll all be labeled old Chinese men without a job, hence having the time to post negative comments.

Here's your fuckin lower deck with a seating capacity of 140 where 250 Team Qtum supporters were claimed to be:

In re the link provided above - http://www.8btc.com/ico-qtum-guojun.

I just read over a hundred comments on 8btc.com attached to various articles about Qtum, all translated from Chinese.

8btc.com is a Chinese language mag.

The articles about Qtum were written in Chinese.

ALL the comments about Qtum articles were written in Chinese on 8btc.com.

99.9% of all those commenting (good or bad) don't known me.

20% of the comments were extremely negative.

Conclusion:

There's a bunch of old Chinese men who don't have jobs.

More on Coinbase customers getting crypto-raped thru their cell phones:

Quote
Dear Coinbase user,

We are notifying you because you currently, or have previously, used the Authy app to protect access to a Coinbase account. Due to a recent increase in sophisticated attacks targeting Coinbase users, we are taking extra precaution to protect your account.

In combination with social engineering and password theft, attackers are porting phone numbers (also known as SIM swapping). Once they fraudulently gain control of a user’s phone number, attackers can add new devices to an existing Authy account and take over access to a linked Coinbase account.

To combat these attacks, we will be automatically disabling the Authy multi-device setting and limiting the ability to use SMS to install Authy....

Oh, no.  Here it comes!!!~   "We got haxxored!"

I guess that explains the following I just received via email ...

Yes, that came from Coinbase, and no I never signed up on Coinbase, they gleaned my email address perhaps from this forum close to two years ago, I opting to let them continue to send me shit, with all past correspondence non-problematic stemming from their camp.

A big thanks to Decentral Toronto for letting the #Qtum project present May 17th! The event took place on a large boat, with about 250 attendees. Brett and Jordan were in attendance, and we gave a general overview of the technology and our crowdsale results. We weren't the only Blockchain project in attendance, there were presentations done by #Zcash, #Pivx, #Dash, #Jaxx, and #Rootstock!

Fuckin amazing that the gurus of the greatest invention since sliced bread can't even muster up over 7 likes on their Facebook page in spite of lyin' their motherfuckin asses off of having ~250 attendees listenin' to their snake oil presentation in a room having a max setting capacity of only 76 IF EVERY FUCKIN SEAT WERE OCCUPIED, of which they weren't.

If you can't do the math, then find some other person able to count to potato, then find another person who'll explain to you how you're getting royally fucked in the ass using the data supplied by the dude who can count to potato.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm goin' on break at the job I don't have, of which I'm allow 17 breaks a day given that I'm a old man.

Bruno

EDIT: Here's another pic depicting 250 people in a room designed for 76. To be fair, I did figure it out - each person had two pockets, and in each pocket was an attendee, thus Chinese math dictates that 76 X 3 = 250. Oh, and don't fuckin forget that of those 76 people, some are other speakers and their entourage.

2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: QTUM - calling all S-C-A-M Hunters. Billionaires, whales, chinese exchanges?? on: June 12, 2017, 04:22:38 AM
Is it verified true?? and do these whales and other prestigious btc figures know its (QTUMS) founder is unraveling as previous scammer? How to contact roger ver I hope he has not been duped? is he even involved or perhaps they are just name dropping to garner support and legitimacy. What about the legit Billionaire?

What's up with QTUM - looks great - invested in by billionaires - backed by BTC whales - new chinese exchanges ready to accept and trade - great sig campaign - forbes, crypto publications all love it .... looked like a great new project right??

I thought it looked and sounded very appealing and was going to throw my usual btc weight around 0.1 - 0.25 btc for rare and promising ico gems.

But wait I am told 2 days ago that the founder is steven dai (now calling himself patrick dai) a known scammer extracting over 200BTC from bitbays investors and then refusing to do any work at all on the project ....but rather just take the 200 BTC and start his own new project QTUM

IS THIS CORRECT?? - seems like that shouldn't really work out too well.?

Is it even true there are billionaires, rodger ver and other very well known members of the btc community backing this or is that all just a load of scam propaganda?

I would love to see the real scam investigators look into this before 100% drawing conclusions about it.

I went to the qtum thread to hear more about it and there is nobody there with any real authority or knowledge to comment on it.

I have no investigative skills. So who can help us all out here and find out if this really is the very same steven dai that is a known scammer.

These guys need to be notified asap too... if you know how to directly contact any of them perhaps we should do our bit to at least give them the chance in investigate this themselves.

blah blah.... Chen Weixing, the billionaire founder of Kuaidi being in the fold, there is Anthony Di Iorio, Ethereum founder and CEO of JaxxWallet; Jeremy Gardner, co-founder of Augur and EIR at Blockchain Capital; David Lee Cuo Chuen, founder of Left Coast, Libai, and DLEE Capital Management.

Then there is Bo Shen, General Partner at Fenbushi Capital; Jehan Chu, Managing Partner at Jen Advisors; Qingzhong Gao, director of Huawei Strategic Cooperation; Xu Star, OKCoin CEO; Lihua Yi; and, Partner of ZhongWo Investment. Add to that Xiaolai Li, one of biggest bitcoin holders in the world and a Blockchain Angel backer.

This is like the DD and scrutiny all these ICOs should go through reall especially the big ones.

It starts in march so we have time to analyse all of this thoroughly.

Great project or scammer self enrichment scheme building up steem?

This is not a techincal analysis of the project this is an investigation into the possible scammer who is the founder and probably main beneficiary of this project

scam project or scammer or what?

Yup, me thinks Coinbase is F*cked.

Don't forget this is an Ongoing LawSuit.

They'll pay out the Settlement to Cryptsy Claimants, kinda like a progress payment in Construction.

Coinbase best had declared all ongoing investigations pertaining to their brand in their prospectus available to all their current investors for their current U$100M funding round or else they'll be slapped with a Vleisides-esque fine and probation and told not to never again forget to forget disclosing such pertinent information.

I thought this Qtum thread was long till I saw the Qtum thread in the Chinese section of this forum. It's 6-7 times longer than this thread. Take a look yourself and see. If I'm not mistaken, all the active Chinese users on this forum have commented at least once on Qtum's Chinese thread. Amazing!
