2461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 15, 2022, 01:53:12 PM
NFT projects are drastically losing their value and I think that the use of free drops will help to attract investors. However, I couldn't find it more beneficial or even attractive to know that NFTS is almost out of the market and the interest of the people is down. Apparently, the trust and the so-called market potentials of these projects are very close to nothing. How much more to expect value with their free drops, not worth it to join anymore.
2462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 15, 2022, 01:04:22 PM

Some people trade in a way that is just like gambling, they buy a coin randomly without any study or analysis and wait for a stroke of luck maybe the coin will rise, this is very similar to gambling.
That was a losing style of trading as we can't just rely upon luck as trading doesn't design like that, it was indeed a need of knowledge and skills while gambling only needs money and the basics.

As for me, trading and gambling are far different and we no longer compared them or even argue about them. Note that in gambling we only have a very slim win but in trading, we can possibly get more and our chance is high especially if you have a deep knowledge about this.
2463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 15, 2022, 11:52:23 AM
I believe Ioka has more world title fight experience than Nietes.
I don't know about this but I like to believe that Nietes would not lose in this fight if he is not old, at his age now, I think Ioka will bounce back and beat him. Losing a split decision means the fight is very competitive, so now Kazuto Ioka has the edge due to his age and he is more active than Nietes I think.

Yes. I also think that prime Nietes will beat a prime Ioka. Both are the same 4 division champions and are future Hall of Famers. They nearly have the same styles too. They're both smart, technical, patient, and armed with excellent jabs. I just believe that prime Nietes is just slightly better.

Back to reality. Ioka has a clear edge in this coming rematch. I don't think Nietes has the power to knockout Ioka and his age makes the mission becoming nearly impossible.
Yes, no doubt! Nietes will indeed beat badly Ioka if they were both seating at the peak of their respective prime, Nietes wouldn't be the longest champion if he's not that strong enough to defend the belt every time had a fight. But that is all in the past because if we look closely at the situation now, lots have already changed and we can already say that Nietes is on the wrong side in this fight because Ioka is much younger and definitely have more edge to win in this rematch.

But his journey now has ended, not officially though but the way he fought tells us that he is already aging. Nietes is not an aggressive fighter, he is more of a technical fighter but we can see that his power is not strong enough to hurt Ioka in this fight.

There's no official statement yet that he will retire from boxing, but most likely, he would retire soon if not this year. He still have a good record but that is only a record to keep because we already saw his limitation and he could not beat the young fighters anymore.
2464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 15, 2022, 11:25:34 AM

This could be good to see if Fortuna will pursue and man his words, surely a toe-to-toe fight is what the people wanted to see and we will see if Ryan have some improvement this time.

I hope so because that is the only way for this to be an entertaining fight. Ryan Garcia is surely the heavy favorite, but who knows, upset could happen in boxing anytime, so it's not a guaranteed win by Garcia if Fortuna will show that he can match the skills of Garcia.

Upset is very slim on this fight because if indeed it would happen then it will be over for Ryan Garcia's career, I mean he would start from scratch as he doesn't have the ace to call out the champions of his division. I do think that he will be careful in the first few rounds and see if Fortuna's power would hurt and if not then he would go all out in the second half but i do hope that Fortuna would survive the onslaught as i'm leaning towards a Garcia win via decision @3.25  Cool.

Or over 7.5 rounds will be a good bet to begin with, hehehe.

So if by chance the fights goes into the full 12 rounds because of Fortuna on his bicycle, then you will hit both of your bets.  Grin

I still haven't put mine yet though, nevertheless, I might tail you on this one.

I like Garcia winning by KO. I'm expecting that Garcia will be more aggressive and will try to impress the crowd, so I'm expecting that he will finally get a KO win for this fight to be entertaining. What's the odds for Garcia winning by KO?
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 15, 2022, 10:57:31 AM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
It was you who could decide but to tell you that the majority of these new projects can't be trusted. Though I few of them are legit but can't say they are sustainable and reliable projects for long-term investment as many of them are just about to die after the accumulation and hype. I don't want you to believe and be fooled by those sweet promises as they are likely scams.  Research is vital but I suggest you take a look at old projects rather than these new things.
2466  Economy / Economics / Re: The current crypto bear could end the market. on: July 15, 2022, 10:20:04 AM
Well, it was not a new thing to hear these words "END OF THE MARKET", especially during the bear season. A negative mindset will of course speak and describe the market negatively. However, those who come and have trust with crypto will remain calm and take advantage of those who are weak and those who sell their crypto.

But don't get me wrong OP - what you need is to open up your mind and eliminate negativity in your mind and replace it with positivity. You can never see good things if you are a close-minded person.
2467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 14, 2022, 11:33:44 PM
snip~

Whales can manipulate the market but it has nothing to do with the roller coaster events in the crypto market. These are things that are called inevitable since they serve as the outcomes to the positive and negative events not only in the market alone but the whole globally economical. But as the crypto market is full of uncertainties, if today we are witnessing the dump and bloody market, then next to it is a bullish market that is all green and pumping. And bitcoin and ethereum prices will always be seen dominate the market.
Ever since the market trend has always been on a roller coaster and this is because we have this volatility. We certainly experiencing such market flow as the demand and supply constantly changing despite the whale's participation, and as to know that they are not the ones who control the market, even these small market players could still affect the market trend. As I understand this situation, I'd found no reason why I have to think negatively as I believe that it recover back again.
2468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: July 14, 2022, 10:56:58 PM
Your right but its hard for me to dyor the goods projects i loss luna when it drops i trust the team but they fail my expectation . Ilost money when i trust the team projects of lunA. Thats why its hard to trust now the new token team

There are many investors like you who have lost their money in luna. People had so much trust in the Luna team that they were buying when the Luna crashed. But this project shattered all their hopes. Luna's failure does not mean that solid projects will not come to the market. In order to turn this bad experience into a good one, you need to do research and find the best project. Because if you wait patiently, the market will give you more opportunities, and it is your responsibility to take advantage of it. So it is important to think positively now.
In addition to that,
We have to invest in the projects that we know guarantee something like BTC and ETH. People got surprised by what Luna and the developers did and this could somewhat help us to realize that not all projects that portray such a promising look will remain, we never know that was just a trick. They attract investors with that and just leave by having all their money. I'd see now that even though we do searches and background checks, it wasn't enough. We are still not sure if the project will turn scam despite the positive view it showed.
2469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can all (or most) cryptocurrencies rise and fall at the same time? on: July 14, 2022, 02:07:12 PM
How can the prices of 100s of cryptos all move in the same direction at the same time?
Don't bother yourself to imagine that as it was impossible. Have in mind that nobody has ever taken control of the market which is why you can't and never say they all go in the same direction at the same time. If that will happens, we are going to say that the market lies on one hand, in fact, traders and whales could somehow affect the market trend and change its direction.

I would agree to have the same direction and that is because of the influence of Bitcoin on the market, however, this will never connect to see them it drops at the same - that kinda be a big coincidence.

2470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 14, 2022, 11:54:05 AM
There are too many rumors circulating but they were really vague as both camps and Showtime will try not to offend each other with the ongoing negotiations. So it's like we can only say that news is only reliable when it comes directly from Espinoza head of Showtime, Al Haymon of PBC, Ellerbe the manager of Spence, Spence himself, and Crawford himself. Stephen Espinoza of Showtime said this week that he is confident of a deal this month.
And if I'm not mistaken though, the news can only come out from the mouth of the reliable sources like you mentioned and they could include this in the contract itself. And if anyone break that, for sure the fight might got cancelled or if not, some monetary incentive of the parties that broke the agreement. And maybe this is the reason why it is so quiet that we don't hear anything from either of them because the negotiations are very secret that only a few people only knows what's going on behind. And all we hear are just noises and rumors.

Don't know if that is the really case but actually if they remain silent towards that rumored fight then maybe they cannot hype up that huge match knowing that boxing still a business and sold millions of dollars ticket sales, so maybe there's no deal has been discuss yet toward thus fight and those news is just purely a rumor.

I’m sure that they are still finalizing the contract especially the profit split because that is the only why this fight is still not happening until now. Promoter knew the strategy on marketing and they can even wold the ticket with just a small time period because these two boxer is very famous individually. They can hype by there name itself without much publicity

They should make it happen this year, too much wait already, there's no need to hype this fight as definitely it will be a sellout crowd. What we like to know here is who is the better fighter, I'm sure it's a 50/50 fight, don't know who will be the favorite because they are almost equal in terms of skills in boxing.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 14, 2022, 11:34:06 AM
DYIP almost break their losing streak as they fought really hard against SMB.

SMB only won by 1 point, the final score is 108-109.
Easy wi on DYIP handicap, and almost the ML.
2472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Be a Failure Even If It Hits $100,000, Says "Black Swan" Author !! on: July 13, 2022, 11:26:44 PM
So it means that we are in a lose-lose situation even if we hit 6 digits in the next bull run? Doesn't make sense though, but yeah I heard this kind of argument before and it's laughable and it seems that the author didn't graph want bitcoin is, and what is makes it successful even if it is still very young. Anyhow, we all know what he is saying is flawed in the beginning and let's wait for their next argument against bitcoin.
That was their thinking - we find it different from us as we are in the situation and we experience the ups and downs that could help to tell ourselves how reliable is this. No matter how many pump and ATH that we have, this still no sense to them as they are purely negative and the only things they will see are always negative as well.

We can't deny the reality, some people will understand how this work and spread good words about Bitcoin but those who are negative, can't even hear from them saying Bitcoin will succeed, it lives longer, they are simply asking it will die.
2473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: July 13, 2022, 11:01:07 PM
If that is the only amount you can afford, so be it. As a beginner, we don't need a huge amount to start in fact, this amount is just for trial and testing, and most likely it will just lose. What I just hope is that this could be enough for you to learn about Bitcoin and about crypto investment. Honestly, learning crypto is a little bit expensive but it was worth it.

As you are stepping on crypto, you may have to prepare to lose more money before you will reach your goal and fully understand how this works.
$100, $500, or even more....
2474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 13, 2022, 12:08:13 PM
It could be on basketball, boxing or horse racing, or any kind of sport, after being in a particular sport for many years can you see or tell if a fight or event is fixed, there are upsets but in the back of our minds, there's a possibility that the match or game is fixed.

Yes, I can assume that a match is fixed based on the performance of the team especially if it happens to be a well-known team with good players playing against a team that has fewer quality players or a team that is in poor form. Using football as an example, when a big team with an odd of 1.20  is playing against a smaller team that has an odd of 30.25 is playing a football match when the big team is having all the possessions when the team has created so many goals scoring chances but fails to put any goal at the back of the net even when the team is awarded a penalty, it is obvious that the game is fixed to end as a draw since the small club can not score.
It's hard to spot if a game is fix to be honest, there a ways to fix a game, it's not only on intentionally losing the game but point and total shaving is very popular in sports betting, however, it's not proven so if you are a bettor, you have to be clever when putting a bet, stay away from the public favorites.
2475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 11:24:20 AM

Yeah, but there also an issue before that. He was already asking for a max contract right after they given CP3 his own at 21-22 season. I think that's when the problem started with the Ayton relationship with management and coaching staff.
Who would not ask for it? They are the Western Champions and fought for the Finals, he might have thought there should be perks on what they achieved but it was not awarded.
I have no doubts this big guy will play at his best if only offered the contract that he wants. He may just want security for himself.

Yes, considering his contributions way back and how he really does his best to help the team.

But on the business side, I can only say that Suns management is also considering other possibilities before they can give
that offer. The problem already smoke out and the relationship is no longer good, letting go Ayton and let him get the desire
contract will also allow Suns to hire new replacement.

There's a team that will go after Ayton, he is one of the top 10 big men in the NBA, and with his good shooting range, I think he will be a very valuable asset. IMO, he is deserving for a max contract, if Suns could not give that, then there's no reason for him to stay.
2476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 12, 2022, 10:51:13 PM

I understand none of us know exactly when the next bull market will be here but I am just wondering if anyone could give me their experience with what it was like during previous bull markets and how fast we can expect our investments to grow again?

You already have to know that we can't predict the market and ask how fast to expect for the bull market, still, nobody knows. Just leave it that way, you can still invest more as long as your intention is to hold long-term, that can't be a problem as for sure the Bull season will come someday. Don't bother to think it how long as this will make you think about selling earlier. A lot of people come into that situation as they lost their minds while waiting, I'm afraid it will happen to you as well.
2477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many people become binance futures full time traders as job on: July 12, 2022, 10:18:33 PM

Maby people now choose to become binance futures trader as full time income.
JUST MAYBE that was the right word to say as to know that not all are willing to gamble their money in trading nor do we urge people to do trading when their knowledge is not capable of doing it - they don't want to lose their money for sure. Though we called it a job opportunity, however, we can't just simply grab it and start working, without enough capital, knowledge, and skill this is nothing, neither expect for a profitable end but just losses.

I won't disclose having a chance that MANY people will do trading business but never it say they will become a full-time trader IMO.
2478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 12, 2022, 12:07:06 PM

A series game is the best measure of whether a team can handle the pressure. Of course, I like BlackWater to reach even at Semis for new looks in the competition whereas always it's usual to see top teams in SMC and MVP.

Blackwater standing now is good because they might have a twice-to-beat advantage.

They should keep winning the remaining games, SMB is really a tough team to beat especially in a series but I'm already happy with what Blackwater has achieve so far. Slowly but surely, that's what this team will have to do and I hope their chemistry will not be destroyed by a possible trade.
2479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 12, 2022, 11:49:26 AM
Reports today that Ayton is close to finalizing a deal to go to the Indians Pacers. If they let Ayton go in a trade that doesn’t also involve Kevin Durant going to the Suns it is going to end up being one of the worst moves Phoenix has made in a long time. It’s crazy to see an NBA franchise acting so emotionally. I imagine that whatever happened between Ayton and management was enough that they were unwilling to even offer him a contract extension.
This ain't a good move from them Suns. So much was produced by Ayton that made them reach the Finals and then the West semis last year.
I don't know what they are planning but I have an idea they are going for small ball copying strategies from the likes of the Warriors and Celtics.
CP3 is getting older, chemistry will be a better ally for them than looking for the star players and force a championship roster. What the Nets did was enough proof that it fails.

Ayton has a lot of potential and he's so young with huge potential, if Suns just maximize and develop him very well for sure we can see more dominant Ayton in hard wood. But guess they are in rush of things and want to see fast result and this will totally put them in questionable state this season. For sure they can't copy the small ball line up of Warriors because GSW roosters are built and not been traded from other teams so for sure they cannot copy the team chemistry and might struggle on this area.

Suns are destroying their defensive side if they will let Ayton, actually, he is not the problem for the Suns, it's the 2 scorers, Paul and Booker who are not clutch enough during the playoffs. Maybe it's a desperate move but this move is bad IMO.
2480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 11, 2022, 11:25:03 PM
you're quite literally just gambling your investment away if you invests in meme coin, you could see that the trend has been fading, meme coin in general has been having difficult time since the flows of investment is lacking,
and add the market manipulation aside from that, I'd say that it's better to stick with the likes of BNB and ETH for investing, otherwise you would more likely causes loses to your investment.
also, most of the meme coins has lost its drive of having a bullrun that is elon musk's shill
Investing in meme coins is indeed a losing investment if take this for the long term as this is believed to be only good during the bull market, not this current condition.

I have had a bad experience with Dogecoin in the past which helps me understand that these meme coins can't be a good investment. Though nothing guarantees profit but much more if we invest meme coins, our chances are very slim that certainly can't rely upon and have fortune.
