I ONLY trade on Kraken ...  Roll Eyes

Tj leurs fameux "apologies BUT"

2464  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum trampoline lightning funded but 0 can send and receive on: August 09, 2022, 04:05:30 PM
In this thread you missed out some important information, particularly that you reset your computer and restored your Electrum wallet from some backup. The restauration of active Lightning channels is a difficult and cumbersome story.

There might have been some bugs in Electrum which were fixed with patch 90dbac5 for such an edge "mess".

Good for you, you got your funds back. I don't want to be picky but I find it disappointing when an issue is so poorly described with lots of omission of details that surely are relevant for assistance and the issue itself. I understand that a user might not be aware of important details as the awareness is proportional to knowledge on the topic.

Oh well, what matters: not all Sats were harmed and lost, only a few of them.
So what is the good procedure when we want to back up a wallet in order to transfer it to another computer or to upgrade our OS? Channels have to be closed necessarily? Or there is a way to "transfer" them too?
Because when we use File > Save backup we get this warning message :

2465  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and odd provider's limits !!!!!! on: August 08, 2022, 05:41:36 PM
It looks like you were consistently winning in both of these sites which is why they restricted you in this manner and is completely legal. Casinos do this stuff all the time in order to keep their businesses afloat since none of them like consistent winners.

The only gambling sites that have no problem with such winners are gambling exchanges, Pinnacle etc op.
Why do you say "both of these sites" ? He is only complaining about one single casino and he clearly named it in the title of his thread. In addition, you say it "is completely legal". How do you know that precisely? Even if it's written somewhere in the T&C in small characters, they must have a valid reason to activate this clause against him and they must clearly notify the customer about that. I don't think any regulated or professional sportsbook will wait complaints from the customer they've restricted to reply him we have nothing to do with that, it's our odds provider who is making that...
2466  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and odd provider's limits !!!!!! on: August 08, 2022, 03:10:55 PM
I don't think you should worry,if you have not received an official email from Stake that your account is restricted and not only the sport section of the site the withdrawals should pass through if you haven't violated any of their terms and conditions.

We are talking about Stake here who gives like near 1 million dollars in bonus when is Christmas time like they did last year,I don't think they will care much to restrict an account for 80 mBTC which you claim to have won.I doubt they will put their reputation at risk for such ridiculous amounts for them.
How do you know that? You've seen testimonies about official emails sent to customers whom they've locked their funds? Could you share them with us here? Because CMIIW but rickmart's account has obviously been restricted without any email nor notice.
Moreover, even if Stake is really sending "official emails" for that, like a professional or regulated sportsbook, don't you think it's a little bit late to care about it when you receive one? Because I don't think they will notify the user before locking his funds.

I try to bet as much as possible on promotions proposed by Stake but I never cheated (back multiple sides, etc ...). I usually take some info from tipsters and I bet often  on lower leagues to have value bets or surebet sometimes, but  frankly if betting on exotic league or markets is suspect in this case  they might as well not propose these markets.
I never use large stakes for my betslip, most of the times from  1 mBtc to 3 mBtc and as far as I remember I have not set any betslip with more than 15 mBtc.
You're obviously an honest customer, but it's not enough for being a good customer in their eyes, they want to earn money from you, not to give money to you. You've maybe just been lucky for the moment and you will maybe lose all your winnings in the coming months, but obviously they don't want to take risks and to wait for seeing. They prefer "showing you the door" now as Maasdamer said. You should also monitor your bonuses they will most likely being harshly lowered.

2469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and odd provider's limits !!!!!! on: August 08, 2022, 10:36:06 AM
Hello,

Since I started betting on Stake I have rarely been disappointed, they have very good promotions, good odds, etc...

But recently, I cannot place a single bet, my stake is almost always rejected (too high). The support told me that unfortunately they cannot do much about it as it is the odd provider that fix limits for an event and for each user. Even on big events just like premier league games I cannot bet with a stake more than 0.2 mBtc (when it is possible).

I had a similar situation with sportsbet.io (odds automatically lowered for my account, banned from some promotions) and they haven't gone backwards since  (more than 8 months).

Has anyone been in this situation and was able to recover afterwards normal betting configuration?

If my situation is never going to be reviewed, I might as well get my funds back right away.
Did they ask you to pass a KYC? Are you still able to withdraw your funds? You should check that quickly and withdraw all your funds from Stake before it's too late.
I don't think those restrictions are just decided by their odds provider, it's a very convenient excuse from them. Odds providers don't manage and don't care about casinos finances. Like any supplier won't care about the finances of its customers if it is paid. They are maybe reporting things to casinos but the final decisions belong to the casino since you are a customer of the casino and you have T&C with it and not with its odds provider. How casinos would keep high rollers and manage their streamers and sponsored stars if odds providers were able to limit them as they want?
Moreover as Maasdamer said on one sportsbook he is limited for certain sports while being limited for all sports on another which is likely sharing the same odds provider.
2470  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.3.0 Relased on: August 08, 2022, 10:01:39 AM
New electrum version is released. This release is focused on improvement of Lightning UI and finally the support of the Blockstream Jade hardware wallet[1].

# Release 4.3.0 - (August 5, 2022)

 * This version introduces a set of UI modifications that simplify the
use of Lightning. The idea is to abstract payments from the payment
layer, and to suggest solutions when a lightning payment is hindered
   by liquidity issues.
[...]
    - A single balance is shown in the GUI. A pie chart reflects how
that balance is distributed (on-chain, lightning, unconfirmed,
      frozen, etc).
This new GUI feature is a really good idea IMO, because before it wasn't very clear how much funds of your balance was available for on-chain payments, and how much funds was preempted by LN channels, and if you didn't pay attention you could get bad surprises when you wanted to make some payments.

2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: August 07, 2022, 09:56:05 PM
Hesitancy means you are not sure if you have a chance to beat the house edge but you can proceed and check if martingale can help you win, even if its proven thousands of times that doubling your bet or martingale is still a 50/50 chance to win or get busted, people are very persistent in using a martingale, all I know is martingale can excite you but do not use it to challenge the house edge my own experienced in martingale is very worse 15 straight losses wiping all my tokens I've earned from bounty campaign for 4 months in just 5 minutes using this strategy.
At which game did you encounter 15 straight losses precisely? It would be surprising you got that at BJ especially if you are not a bad player. I think the martingale strategy could be applied to a hot shoe if you have counting enough cards before, but it's certainly better to just raise your stake in this case. Using it at freebet blackjack could also gives better results since you get free splits and then more chances to break losing streak.

This result is easy to achieve in any game if you have chosen the appropriate odds (if you bet not on x2 but on x1.1, then of course a series of 15 defeats in a row will wait a very long time). For example, when playing dice choosing <49.5% you will get similar results. In Black Jack, the house edge varies depending on the variations of the rules and is close to 0.5% at best. Whether you are a good player or a bad one, if you play long enough, you will easily see a series of 15 defeats in a row, and if you used Martingale, it will bankrupt your deposit.
That's why I said if you are a good player and you have counted enough cards to be able to know that the remaining shoe is more in favor of the player than of the dealer. You can maybe still encounter 15 defeats in a row as you say but it's highly unlikely. In addition to that if you are playing at a Freebet Blackjack version, you are very likely to get a free split during this 15 rounds, and to get an additional chance to beat the dealer for free. As BitcoinAccepted said this strategy has certainly a very bad risk-reward ratio but if you have a wide bank roll and you have fixed a clear limit before starting the game, it could be ok if the shoe is hot.

Great round and I'm already looking forward to the next round.
Good luck everyone!  Smiley
Oh I didn't expect to reach the second rank of this pool even if it's shared with 5 other contestants Smiley, but a little bit of chance is better for starting a game than the opposite I would say. Anyway almost all participants have scored more than 10 points for this very first match day, it shows how high is the level of this pool despite counting 21 participants only.

What i have to contribute here is that we have to understand that this is new platforms or a new website as you can see, they will be arranging their website with the gradually and especially with the other websites strategies to make good record except it's a situation whereby they don't pick up correction from other people website. Which i know that any website that wants to grow will like to study other people or competitors website or kind of design to make their own more better. I believe that they know exactly what you are saying.
Yes but it's sad to hear there will be some delays during the ongoing month, because this casino seems to really want to innovate and to offer a specific experience to his customers. Thanks to them I've discovered a new livecasino provider : Creed Roomz, they don't seem to be listed on many casinos, but they are on Betnomi. They seem to be mainly armenian but the quality of their games is almost the same as Pragmatic Play IMO, moreover they are offering a tip feature for their dealers who seem to be very nice.

Try roulette.

Cover with a lot number, some casinos have high limited number on roulete. If "Livecasino" limited the number roulete you can put with maximum only 20 number, then try to find other game.

In stake, I can put 30+ number and it's really help for waggering. But, on "CHIPS" casino they limited the number maximum 20 number.
Which roulette are you talking about precisely? Which table of which live casino provider I mean. I wasn't aware casino had hidden settings of this kind for live roulette games. I thought it only depended on the provider or on the table. Do you know a review website listing this parameter for each casino by chance?
2475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: August 07, 2022, 11:52:20 AM
Oh it seems you are taking the word farm like it was negative. What kind of abuse do you exactly thinking on the word farm? How come playing safe to meet the requirements is different on just having fun playing? I don’t understand exactly what’s your point on this statement. The word farm might not sounds good to you but it’s just simply acquiring wager on a safe way but that doesn’t mean it’s total risk free because there’s always risk involved when you placed bet on any games in a casino no matter what it is.

Maybe you are just playing for fun but I’m not you and I want calculated gambling. Tell me exactly how doing my method is unfair and abused? I will retract my statement if you prove your  statement.
I was not talking about your method or what you are doing, you are obviously an honest customer but someone was asking for "strategies" above to meet the wager requirement and I just think it's not a good one to try to "artificially" reach the wager requirement with calculations because it's risky even if it's not explicitly forbidden. Many casinos don't hesitate to exclude users from their promotions without explanations when they don't like how the user is playing. People should be cautious about that if they care about those promotions. The best so-called strategy IMO, is to play to whatever games you like without being mainly focused on the wagering volume. In very few hours the wagering requirement for this promotion should be naturally reached for most players.

You can read some additional information about this brand (Yas.bet) here: https://sportstatist.com/yas-bet-review/

strange that you didn't mention that they offer cryptocurrencies as a payment method and why did you say they have quite limited payment options when they have a lot of payment options? I'm not part of the site and I'm not here endorsing the site, I'm just trying to understand if you just wrote this or you actually went to the site and tested the payment methods.

and in the recommendations part why did you say you recommend it for recreational players?
Thanks, it's fixed. Sorry, but this is hardly worth recommending to professionals, in any case, let everyone decide for himself.
It's not completely fixed because you've only mentioned "Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum" as cryptocurrencies available while according to the screenshot from Slow death above other cryptocurrencies and stablecoins like Tether on Tron and Ether blockchains, Doge, Bitcoin Cash and Tron are available there.
It's an important thing if you are addressing your reviews to crypto users. So I also think Yas.bet should exhaustively mention them in its OP along with fiat currencies accepted already listed there.

Moreover you didn't mention the high number of Live casino providers, and didn't name them, while I think it's one of the largest offer I've ever seen on a casino. Specific and uncommon languages are also missing from your review IMO along with the omnipresence of farsi on the website which can be a clue of the origins of the platform.
2477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: August 07, 2022, 08:26:49 AM

I guess you maybe didn't want to say that precisely, but I don't think it's a good advice to try to "farm" wager volume or anything in order to profit from the bonuses or promotions offered by a casino, because if the casino considers the user is playing "unfairly", he could see him as a kind of abuser and excludes him from the forthcoming promotions. So it seems to be pretty risky to do that and to not pay off in the long run IMO. The better way to benefit from those generous promotions IMO is to play whatever games you like and to be happy to get some free chips at the end and to have spent a good time at the casino.
Moreover nobody needs to wager $1000 to be eligible to this promotion, 10mbtc is only $230 currently. Most of average casino customers can meet this volume in few hours whatever games they are playing IMO.

Hello forum member,
I actually new in Cryptocurrency gambling. I made a few bet on sport's by fiat on 1xbet I'm also seeing scam accusation against 1xbit there is a similarity on there name I wanna know are they connect ?
You're lucky to see those accusations they are all true and documented 1XBIT and 1XBET are already established as under one company if you're still playing stop you could be the next victim if you continue to play here, they are notorious scammers here and don't show mercy on people they scam.

Quote
I also wanna know the which Cryptocurrency based casino is best for me ? Because I saw lots of casino here .
Stake.com Betfury Betcoin.ag are three of the casinos that have established their reputation here in Bitcointalk over the years, you can be sure you can have peace of mind, that's what we all want when playing in casinos.
You shouldn't use those words, nobody should "have peace of mind" when he plays at a custodial casino and especially if he manages to make some profits, most of custodial casinos are likely to lock your funds with unfair reasons when you start to withdraw big amounts of winnings. That's why it's better to always stay cautious and avoid to let winnings accumulating on your account without withdrawing them.
2480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 06, 2022, 09:12:56 PM
I see that this feature is not always present. I am thinking that we should not waste the opportunity of using it once we saw it appears because it's always better to reduce the risk and win a little lesser than continue with an increased risk which you can end up as a loser at the end of the game. I think that it's more regretful if you go home empty.

Also, what you mean to say there is to follow every match that we bet on and not the results because results are only shown at the end of the game. The importance of it is that we will know if we should continue and won't use the cash out option or we should stop now or else lose because the game seems to be against with us.
I really doubt that many people have been able to make profits by cashing out their bets each time they have been about to win. Sportsbooks usually offer amounts for cash outs way lower than that the player should get at a fair game.
For example if I play heads or tails with you, but after throwing the coin I offer you 0.5$ while you have bet 1$, do you think you can make any profits on the long run by taking them and losing $0.5 each time instead of winning $2 half-time? Even if was offering you to take back your whole $1 stake you won't be able to make profits because it would just be the same as a blank round. Now if I only offer this option when I see you've won and I refrain from offering it when I see you've lost, do you think you will make profits on the long run by taking it?
