Atletico won the game however Manchester United truly gave extreme battle.
The energy and want to win was superb. Some of the time you don't have karma however I watched the players truly battling until end. Karma has it's cutoff, they have rode on karma on a few events yet not this time. However, changing managers not the answer to this team building rather a winning team is the big thing and it requires time. I wish Man United will bring in a good defender next season. Extreme fighting? I don't think it's appropriate to represent Manchester United's performance last night. Manchester United just tried to play well but they didn't manage to create many good chances during the game so they didn't score. Atletico Madrid didn't win by chance either, but they did everything well with their defense and attack much more organized than Manchester United. Atletico Madrid deserved to win even though they were not the favorites in that match. Atletico Madrid's qualification to the quarter-finals was something that surprised me because they didn't impress in many games. Solid defense and good finishing earned them a win against Manchester United. |

Liverpool are desperate to win the game against arsenal at the emirates stadium, and the both teams are currently in their best form. Jurgen Klopp will use his experience strategy in football to beat Mikel Arteta, The both teams needs the winning points. Reds needs the points to close the gap between city while the gunners needs the points to qualify for the champions league next season. Though, it's been a long period of time since arsenal qualify for the champions league after been knock out by Bayern Munich with a goal agregate of 10-2. The same thing Arteta wants for his team. I agree with what you said about why both teams need points in that match but mentally I think Liverpool are more likely to win that game than Arsenal. Arsenal at this time may not be the same as Arsenal at the start of the season who were easier to beat, but now their consistency must be considered by Liverpool if they want to win the match. In my opinion, there is a possibility of a draw for this match later and the two teams will share the points. |

You are right to have called it a boring run. I know the players especially the big stars among them like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe won't be happy playing the local league which they are well dominated. Their target was cut shut unexpectedly by Real Madrid. The joy is no longer there. They will continue to dominate the French ligue-1 until someone is ready to buy quality players to match the likes that PSG has. I am not sure that will be happening any soon The Ligue 1 competition is not good enough for top players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe but money has brought them to play there instead of competition and stiff competition between teams. The Ligue 1 ranking is much lower than the Bundesliga and other top leagues in Europe or maybe the same as the Portuguese Premier League ranking where there are only 2 representative teams that qualify directly for the Champions League each season and one other team has to qualify for it. So it makes me think that Mbappe, Messi and Neymar really weren't having fun playing there much longer than we expected. Next season, maybe Mbappe will no longer play for PSG and he will move to another team that is better than the current PSG. |

Yep. It is very unfortunate that Man United players cannot make a single goal although they dominated the match. They actually made better stats, 11 shots and 5 shots on target. while Atletico Madrid only made 8 shots and only 3 on target. From the stats, we know that Atletico players have a better finishing accuracy, it was something the Man United players don't have in this match. Well, I don't know what's happening with Man United squad, actually they have some players who have good experience in UCL tournaments. The players like Ronaldo, Pogba, and Cavani must have good accuracy to execute every goal attempt. Sadly, most of them were put on the bench, only Ronaldo became the starter. Manchester United's journey in the Champions League this season has stopped and they have to admit defeat to Atletico Madrid, which incidentally is not the favorite to qualify. I don't know what to say, Ronaldo and the other Manchester United players looked very disappointed after the match. Thosr members are trying to help you, because mods will merge or delete your consecutive posts the first time they get reported but if you keep doing it you risk to get your account temp-banned. If a user reports a post for deletion or merges two posts, the mod may still delete one of the two posts in my opinion. Obviously he has broken forum rules about consecutive postings in 24 hours, but if the above user wants to fix it and doesn't break it again then he won't get a temporary ban. I've seen him constantly breaking that rule a number of times and it looks like he's completely ignoring the warnings, if it continues then a temporary ban will most likely get him soon. But it might be good to report it to the mod if this user doesn't notice it even after getting some suggestions. |

I think in the second half of the second leg PSG started to take Real Madrid as an easy opponent and they paid the price. But I have to say it was unfortunate what happened with Leonel Messi because the last goal, the hat-trick goal of Karim Benzema was scored from a ball that Lionel Messi lost. But, I have to say that Real Madrid played really well. It takes a lot of willpower to even come back to a match which is 2-0 for the opponent's advantage. Real Madrid has a better winning mentality than PSG. The second half of the match belonged to Real Madrid where almost all PSG players lost control. Nothing really surprising actually, but Madrid deserved to go through after taking all the chances they had. Super Benzema with his 3 goals. Liverpool, Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid, Manchester City have confirmed themselves to qualify for the quarter-finals. And now the rest are Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Ajax and Juventus who will qualify for the quarter-finals in my opinion. Anything is still possible for Atletico Madrid and Manchester United, but the other three teams will most likely qualify for the quarter-finals. |

Yes, it's all habit but it's not a obligation we or you should make especially just because you've earned the responsibility of being a source of merit. Merit sources have to work according to their own interpretation of judging a post and so do us non-sources, their habit of distributing merit reflects that they too have certain quality standards that they like. As a non-source user, I have a habit of submitting 1-2 merit per post but it will only decrease if I don't have enough talent. It seems fair to me to post merit to posts of interest when I find them, as I rarely check posts specifically to submit merit.
