1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 18, 2022, 09:06:24 PM
In last season Barcelona were the on worst start of the season which give them shocks after shocks, so they were unable to give any challenge but in this season they have done good work before start and having spend good amount for the quality players.
Xavi's proposal was approved by the Barcelona management, and as a result 7 new experienced players have landed in the Barcelona squad this season. 4 defenders, 1 midfielder, 1 winger, 1 striker is proof that Barcelona fully supports Xavi this season. In Laliga Barcelona performed very well and they were ahead of Real Madrid, but unfortunately Barcelona failed to qualify for the Champions League after Inter and Bayern Munich secured a place in the last 16.

In my opinion, Barcelona is still in the process of returning to its former glory. Xavi has a role play in the long term, but people always expect it to return instantly even in his second season at the moment.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 17, 2022, 08:16:14 PM
PSG also ended up losing the top spot on their group as well, which is why they are facing Bayern, not like there aren't any other bad seconds in other groups, but if they finished first, they could have faced an easier opponent possibly, and that would have helped them.

Bayern finished first on their group, and when you compare just this information alone, it shows that Bayern is doing better this year than PSG is doing. On the other hand, Bayern started very terribly on their league, and wasn't first and were losing games at first, now they are doing better of course, whereas PSG started and kept going great in the league, so there is that difference too.
Both of these teams have their own advantages and disadvantages and this will be very interesting to look forward to. PSG will be favorites at home for the first leg, and Bayern Munich will also be favorites for the second leg which will be played at home as well. The two of them will both be favorites and this is what is match that will be difficult for people to predict.

The statistics in the group stages will be meaningless because in the last 16 both teams are under different pressure. I never thought Bayern Munich would be happy to meet PSG and underestimate their opponent, the same thing to PSG when the opponent was Bayern Munich.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 17, 2022, 07:47:37 PM
Do you think it's good that I sold the house then I buy bitcoin with all the money?
Of course that's fine, but are you sure you can afford to consider the risk?
At least you should have good knowledge and emotional control before you invest all your money in bitcoin. You should be concerned about the risks involved including the pressure of needing money if you have no other reserves. But if you have considered all the risks and have consulted with some experienced people, then I'm sure you can do it.

Make sure you have a secure way to store your bitcoins for the long term. A hardware wallet is definitely recommended for you, but make sure you also perform regular backups for your better security.
1524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: November 16, 2022, 07:35:56 PM
We can do technical analysis as a reference to predict asset price movements. but in other cases, we also have to pay attention to other factors.
we might meet the bull later than we imagine.
It doesn't matter how slow the bulls come, the most important thing is to accumulate as many assets as possible while the market is still giving you a chance. I'm doing this for the long term, don't care what anyone else says whether the price will drop again or will recover in the next 1 to 2 years.

Basically recovery takes time and support. Traders will move the market and will be even more positive if other support appears, such as increased interest from institutional investors to return to this investment space.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 16, 2022, 07:26:22 PM
which player do you think will win the golden boot and score the most goals in this tournament?
will it be one of the favorites (like Benzema or Mbappe) or maybe someone you don't have on your radar right now?

I hope Messi, he looks so ready to help his country succeed this year for the World Cup. I like to call them the favorites, but I have to admit some of the other favorites like Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe really deserve it too. I have a reason why Messi looks good to be my favourite, it's because Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland are behind them in terms of player quality. This is only limited to the group stage.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 16, 2022, 06:18:24 PM
If they don't sign good player's this time around this January window they will never find the team Liverpool inside that first four position never. They player's, the player's look weak in terms of middle game mean the midfielder's. The player they signed contract has been terminated to a short one so I think Liverpool should sign another midfielder and also for Diego Jota to be a bit fit as he will help push the front line with Salah and Darwin.
It may not be right if Liverpool only need to improve their midfielders during the transfer market, but it is true that Liverpool need to put their main focus on improving their current midfielders. Their striker is still very good, but seems to lose form in many match. I don't know, maybe because they feel they have lost Mane this season or for some other reason.

Darwin Nunez hasn't been as expected this time. He needs to work hard to understand Liverpool's strategy so he understands what his coach expects. The language barrier reportedly made it difficult to understand strategy, but this may not be the main problem. His adaptation wasn't great, so he really had to work hard to live up to everyone's expectations.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 16, 2022, 05:54:41 PM
Yes, the Europa League now has teams no worse off than the Champions League. A lot of people think that Barcelona will definitely play in the final, but I think they can't handle the busy schedule of La Liga at home, where they also have to fight for first place and the Europa League. Barcelona are in good shape, but I don't think they are ready to work hard yet.
Never say that to Barcelona fans because it is very possible for them to take your assumptions about the busy schedule at Laliga as bulshit. I think all the teams will be same busy in the league including the teams playing in the Champions League. If they don't lose focus on any of the competitions then I don't think they will miss their chance. So never underestimate anyone and how they struggle to overcome problems to be the best.

For example Arsenal, they will also be very busy maintaining their position in the Premier League. Manchester United are busy trying to get into the top 4. Juventus are busy trying to stay in the top 4 and all the teams competing in the Europa League have other competitions that are just as busy. So it's not only about Barcelona.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 16, 2022, 05:33:45 PM
The many big teams that fell from the champions league actually made competition in the european league now quite fierce, how could it not be, this season for the second time we will see barcelona return to play in the european league, as well as juventus which is one of the big clubs specialist champions league will compete in the second caste of the European league this season, the existence of these big teams has certainly made the European league this season no less fierce than the champions league because it is possible for us to see bigmatch matches later.
Yes, you are right. But teams like Barcelona, Ajax, Roma, Juventus and Manchester United and several other good teams still have to fight to get past the playoff phase so it is not certain that they will be able to reach the last 16. It's possible Barcelona, Juventus, Roma and Ajax qualify at this stage for the last 16 and if that's the case then the competition in the last 16 of the Europa League this season is really tough.

But now all the teams may not have the focus on this match because the World Cup is very close. I will be looking forward to some big matches in the Europa League this season because I think the competition for the title will definitely be very good compared to last season.
1529  Economy / Speculation / Re: The most stupid dip in Bitcoin's history - and why we can be happy now on: November 15, 2022, 09:20:08 PM
People should really still mind off about the probabilities and now this event or situation did open up again their eyes that its never been safe or there's no such thing about being safe when you do make use of these

centralized platforms which isnt really that something surprising but due to time where there are ones who do really forgotten about the risk and now here we are.Its not really a stupid thing because dips or dumps

like these which are attached about exchange issues whether its hacked or rug pulls or something like that, then its never been something new.It is really just the community just reacted too much on how this issue did really make out such impact or on how the way things happen.
To be said to be the least surprising thing is probably right from your point of view. Hacking cases have the same impact, but not as great as the current collapse of a large company like FTX.

This should be something that can teach a lot of the self conscious about the safety of their funds just by having their own wallet. Now that quite a few FTX users are starting to feel the disappointment, it is possible that the same could happen for other exchange users in the future. So now people have to consider this: Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: November 15, 2022, 08:51:03 PM
I believe that every casino is obligated to protect the important data of its customers especially if it poses a risk to the customer. But I don't think you have to hide your customers' winnings for things like promotion to make their business appear more trustworthy to other gamblers. The casino might consider hiding the real identity of the winner, but maybe not about the amount of money won.

The OP is probably talking about physical casinos whose winners are recognized by that casino company, but if it's about online casinos then I don't think the problem would be the same. But the responsibility of the casino is to protect the data of its customers from risky publications, but not because they don't want their family to know.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 15, 2022, 08:40:29 PM
~Snip
At the moment Napoli is the best team in Serie A with their great performances and winning statistics. No team has been able to beat them up to 15 matches so far, it has made the confidence of the team and their fans to win the scudetto this season and maybe justified.

But I believe, there are many changes in the second half of this season that will make Napoli lose its best performance. The most likely thing is because teams like Milan, Juventus, Roma and Atalanta might step up their form to compete with Napoli in the top flight. It will be very interesting.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 14, 2022, 09:09:41 PM
To be fair Auxerre played like a lower division team and not like a big club. They were horrible, this wasn't just about PSG being good, which they are, but this is a bit about how terrible their opponents played as well.
3 wins, 4 draws, 8 losses is a statistic that is as bad as the other 3 teams in the relegation zone. A team like Auxerre is actually very weak for a team like PSG, but I'm not looking down on this team as a Ligue 1 team. It doesn't seem worth it to stay in Ligue 1 any longer, but the season is still long for Auxerre.

It is not an easy thing to do and I believe that we are looking at something that is a phenom right now, when teams are playing against PSG they know they will lose even if they play their hardest so they start to play even worse than they normally would because they lose hope, and that’s going to be a lot of terrible results for teams. These teams should realize that getting 3 points out of PSG game would be better than any other 3 points and player harder instead.
Until the 15th match, PSG was still an unbeaten team in Ligue 1. PSG only drew in 2 matches, while 13 others won. PSG's success in winning many matches cannot be separated from the good performances of the attackers and also all the players involved in every match. They have scored 43 goals with only 9 conceded, this is an absolutely superior statistic for a PSG team.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 14, 2022, 09:00:52 PM
LaLiga has been controlled by Barcelona thanks to Xavi's hard work so far after failing in the Champions League, although in terms of being mastered it does not mean that Barcelona will be calm in first place but they can remain optimistic to focus on it and also the UEL because the UCL is already in forget it for the season.
It's not a bad thing to get out of the Champions League for me Barcelona can still reach a good game in the ongoing competition, even if Xavi failed there for me it's still far from sacking him, he has goals for the project he is developing with his team.
You have to believe that Barcelona's project this season is not finished despite failing in the Champions League. Barcelona is a team that has strong character as a team that can be the underdog, but I realize they are still not the best in Europe until this season.

Xavi has nurtured many talents at Barcelona since his arrival, as a result of which Barcelona sent 7 of their players this year to Qatar to represent Spain for the World Cup. Barcelona players dominate over other teams in the national team, so it's a great success for Xavi and Barcelona. Now Spain is Barcelona, while Real Madrid, which is the capital team, only sends 2 of its players in the Spanish squad.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: thank god for bringing btc back in 2018. on: November 14, 2022, 08:37:37 PM
If you were waiting for the perfect time to get into BTC, the time is now!
Now is the time, but try to be realistic that prices may still go lower so DCA will be good for you.
I'm not going to wait for $10K, that's way too low for bitcoin to reach $69K in the last year. To be honest, I don't know how many bitcoin I could buy with the $2K at the end of December, but for now $2K is equivalent to 0.12269 btc. Really, I really think this is a good opportunity.
1535  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope this Bitcoin dip won't be deeper? on: November 14, 2022, 08:16:47 PM
The state of cryptocurrency always be changeable via investment, cryptocurrency is the kind of investment i believe that no matter tye conditions or situation in bearish market, it will still stand firm the way I'm seeing everything concerning it. I therefore encouraging you not to lose hope, because this is not the first time Bitcoin have drop in the market and later ressurect, so Bitcoin price is rotational, because their is every tendency that the price can rise today.
The bitcoin price drop may last longer, FTX has had an impact on the market today. I can't come to the conclusion that the price will reach lower levels, but it's much more convincing for now to the end of the year despite the boost and optimism of traders in the market. Price corrections are normal, but the market was exacerbated by the mentality of traders collapsing due to FTX failures as well as a number of other things.

Whether or not the market is in a bearish condition is uncertain, but we are already in 1 bearish year after last year's ATH. No one knows about the future, but speculation about it seems very bearish for the next few months.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 07:06:40 PM
Arsenal just needed to win their match against Wolves and consolidate their first position on the table by widening the gap to four points however, it's too early to tip them for the title until both Arsenal and Man City play each other in their outstanding matches, a win for Arsenal will then open up the opportunity of winning the league.
That's what Arsenal had to do today if they really wanted to create a higher gap than Manchester City. But most likely Arsenal will do well because I don't really see a problem with that if the players really play at their best.

Meanwhile a big upset created by Brentford against Man City in today's match, Brentford striker Toney proved his worth to Gareth Southgate that he ought to be included in the World Cup bound English team by scoring two two goals for his team.
I think Brentford was very lucky in this match because obviously I don't think City should lose. Many Manchester City players at this time are not really total, look lethargic and do not show good form. But I need to appreciate Raya's performance who actually made the Brentford defense even stronger thanks to his brilliant saves from several Manchester City goal opportunities.
1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused the bitcoin price to drop today? on: November 12, 2022, 06:52:52 PM
At least though in the last 3 days, it was really bad for us, bitcoin nose diving to a lowest low at $15,500, but now recovery on it's way, around $18k. So that's how the market works, there will be times that the market will drop very hard, but there will always be bounce back due to some positive news. So I guess the next question is when we are going to see $20k again because this is our support line for the last couple of weeks.
The market is trying to recover after its low of $15.5K, I agree on that. However, it seems that the recent market turmoil will not allow him to recover quickly as there are many things that might affect the demand in the market due to the battle between Binance and FTX. This is the case that has set the market on fire for the last few days in my opinion, so this time we need some time to see the market recover.

But in the end we may not know when this bearish will end and a new trend will start. I believe this is a great time to increase your bitcoin balance for long term investments, and I think it's an opportunity that really is still open to everyone.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 11, 2022, 10:36:11 PM
Short term as well as long term investment on bitcoin is profiting.
I'm curious, what do you mean by short term investment, is it day trading or something like that?
What I understand is, trading and investing are both profitable, it is something very simple.

For me, bitcoin investment will tend to be more profitable in the long run instead of trading it with various strategies. I don't like day trading even if a lot of people take advantage of its price volatility, especially on bitcoin. Bitcoin would very well be the best choice asset for long term investments like 5 to 10 years. But of course we have to be quite concerned with its development and also how to secure it in the wallet.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 11, 2022, 10:29:02 PM
Qatar is not a nation that gives total freedom to people and many footballing fans looking to have a good time are set to face so restriction In Qatar. What do you guys think about this so to start World Cup.
Just respect his decision, it's better than complaining. I'm not really sure what causes people to complain about some of the restrictions, Qatar is an Islamic country with rules that are really respected. It's better to respect it instead of talking about the sentiments of the former FIFA president who actually doesn't support Qatar as the host of the 2022 World Cup.

I'm a neutral who thinks something very positive about Qatar. So I'd be really surprised if some of these restrictions were mooted when it wouldn't change anything.
1540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Reminder: Treat Exchanges as Marketplaces on: November 11, 2022, 08:32:10 PM
Your bitcoins should only be stored in cold storage wallets after purchase, and transferred out when you want to sell them. It takes less than 10 minutes. Remember, if you don't have the keys, it's not your coins.
Deliberately bold the sentence above because it is a truth. Ironically to date nothing will stop people from having their assets in exchanges. They decide whatever they want including save their funds on the exchange.

The last thing is, regret will come too late even if now everything seems safe. There are many exchange hacking incidents, it is the most feared thing but actually it also doesn't prevent people's interest from having funds in exchange. This solution is for those who care about the safety of their funds in the long term so they don't care about the fee incurred to transfer assets to a personal wallet.
