Hi I have sent my fry coins and it didn't arrived and it shows nothing in the block explorer.. got 1XX+ confirmations in the wallet + lately I have a sync problem... 1 active connection
thnx
Did you update to the latest wallet? Also it's important to delete the old blockchain before updating if you already have the wrong blockchain. 1. Download new wallet 2. Close old wallet. 3. You should go to this folder on your main drive: users\(your_username)\appdata\roaming\frycoin\ 4. In this folder, delete all the files except the wallet.dat and the frycoin.conf. (if you do not have frycoin.conf, you should create one with the nodes from main page) 5. Start the new wallet and let it synch

Any nodes available of the pools that use the new source? That way I can check if a new version of the wallet works.

... Currently the value is ridiculously low, because people don't know about it. ...
Sadly the giveaway dumped the exchange by over 60% :/ Maybe we should've waited a bit longer before doing the giveaway... In the orderbook of c-cex you mostly find multiples of 200 at an extremely low rate... I hope the coin recovers fast from this and investors wont think that FRY is fishy because of all these low-volume & low-rate sell offers... My 2 Cents ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) - f0o //Edit RE: DomainThere are some free (as in beer) tlds, like .tk - we could hook this up to a free-hoster ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have actually bought quite some coins there to get some of my lost CryptoKK funds back and I noticed there were quite a lot of 100k sales. Did not see many low 200 Fry sales, so I think not everybody is getting rid of it immediately. Maybe it would be better in the future to have a giveaway of a lower amount (like 50) to make it last longer?

already done, i think it's the wallet.dat which is now corrupted, and i took it from my backup so i don't have an older version backed now ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Did not know that was possible. Too bad, man. Hope you'll find a fix. Tried installing it on another computer yet?

I think it would be good to also get some promotion going on this site: https://www.altcoincalendar.info/. It costs 0.01 BTC a day and it works quite well for other coins as well. I will try to get an add going for at least a day, so we can see if that improves the visibility of the coin. Anybody else wants to contribute? Fiuu! 0.01 BTC at Day is too much!!! I mined since birth, love this coin! I mined since birth, love this coin! I mined since birth, love this coin! Developer I can provide simple web design. you choose your content, hosted on free server with domain type frycoin.xxxxxx.net. It's nothing less! send private Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I'm willing to give it a try. Currently the value is ridiculously low, because people don't know about it. They should appreciate old coins like Frycoin more! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Probably just a tear in the time-continuum... Strange. Maybe best to go to you users\{username}\appdata\roaming\ebt folder and delete everything except wallet.dat and a .conf. Then restart and see if it can load it correctly again. (it will have to reload the blockchain)

So why did some people not use escrow? What was the reason for it?
Escrow fees. How much it was btw? 1% right? 5$ to keep 500$ safe is not bad at all and I'm not sure why investors were paying escrow fees, they should have demanded escrow service from dev on his own expense. In H2O Coin's IPO Dev paid escrow fees. i think ppl just be lazy and not familiar with escrow.
I will have to agree. Anon and escrow.ms you might be turning some people away with your requiring private keys. Some people are noobs and don't understand how things work. It's also a moot point, because we are not talking about shitloads of money per person here. So the chances of someone hacking their bitcointalk account just for that .1 to 2 BTC is rather low. Requiring a PM with the tx id and a receiving wallet address should be more than enough security. You could also let people opt-in to withdrawal only by private key proof. That way those who are investing more can choose a hightened security (and pay a higher fee). You might consider adjusting your terms. The next potential scam we have is Alter Ego Coin.... who is fond of saying "if you want escrow, then you go ahead" and other such red herrings when asked proper questions. I've been "trolling" their thread for a few days now ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Nice one. I'll warn some people as well ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The amount of scams is this forum is "too damn high". In your case you have a couple of things that make me wary: 1. You are against Escrow for some reason. 2. A withdrawel happened on your IPO address of 0.55 BTC that is dubious: https://blockchain.info/address/1uNnWfU681S24gwNpJuuJoxRSM44sjCsH?filter=0 (seems it was sent to an account of an exchange where over 1200 BTC have gon through that wallet) 3. You have no people in the team that are recognized trusted members on bitcointalk. 4. You have people to create a logo for you, but neglect to post it in the OP, so seems you don't care that much. 5. Most IPO's turn out to be a scam. 6. Investors are not active forum members, but are suddenly prepared to talk on this forum a lot. (could be stolen accounts) Prove me wrong, but the amount of red flags is really high! Just saying, you should put some more effort in assuring people you're trustworthy, because this looks shady...

Just got info that trying to have site done with in a week. Trying for sooner but auditing every coins wallet right now. This will be a whole new code for the site and on new servers. I will keep everyone updated. And please keep me updated on the source code issue. I had talked about QB to the head of ops and back then he told me once the code is up or at least he has it to upgrade it the wallet would be back up. So I will do what I can to get it up and running there once the site is up and running.
I'll keep you posted!

Last words of Coino?
It appears that way, yes. Once the new website is finished, this thread will be closed and a new one that is run by the community development team will be created. If you haven't heard all the good news lately, look back a few pages. The new team is doing well. Great to see people standing up to fix a coin and give it to the community! I'm trying to start a foundation that does this for a selected group of coins and makes it easier by having a team of dedicated people to work together on several coins at a time. You can join the conversation here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576714.0The people that are working on COINO now, might be able to get it much further if they contribute to a bigger team. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

REVOLUTION TIME!
I was getting pretty irritated by all these great coins that lost the support of the developer, so I'm trying to start an independent foundation, the Coin Revival Foundation (CFA), that revives these coins and keeps advancing them. My aim is to give altcoins back to the community and away from speculative whales! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Come to the topic to discuss this if you like and explain why DuckDuckcoin would be a good coin to take into consideration. Come and join! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576714.msg6294074#msg6294074On another note: Would people be willing to donate DUCK for the creation of a Windows wallet on the new code? I'm willing to donate 0.01 DUCK.

My vote for Qubitcoin!!!
I will add it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hello my friend, I'm from Brazil, like this? I saw on your currency 66coin like to help with the project, of course, if the interest of you, the first suggestion would be a site for your coin because it does not exist, a page with information and everything else about the coin, and put in Brazil because we have a considerable concentration of miners and entusuastas the following
See you next time
You would be able to help with the Marketing of the coins then? Hi,
I'm the dev of Logicoin, I recently compiled the Frycoin wallet for windows as it appeared they had been unable to do so for quite some time. Obviously the majority of my time will be spent on Logicoin but I am happy to contribute where I can to this project be it compiling Windows QT's or offering advice. I doubt I can be of much assistance with the coding of new features as my day job often gets the best of me. I currently have a dedicated build enviroment set up via way of VM that should allow me to compile most QT's without too much of an issue. The dependencies will be statically compiled and wallets released through a single .exe file.
Regards, Logicoin
Great! i will add you to the team! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Windows QT wallets are a b#tch ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

ANNOUNCEMENT I have updated the donation hall of fame and put all the coins we have left in the pot to a single address: F9FZn7yzkZJDC7nwDWzkxSrkMBnxhMKXks... Yesterday, I used a 100k to have giveaways on C-Cex to get the trading going. It seems to work really well. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We're getting a bit low on funds now, so new donations to F9FZn7yzkZJDC7nwDWzkxSrkMBnxhMKXks are certainly welcome! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Nice!

Looking at the earlier discussions, we basically need somebody to create a windows wallet to update to the latest version? @Mainduck: working on this? @Duckpond: I can see you contributed to https://github.com/duckduckcoin/duckduckcoin, so assume you fixed the code. Would it be possible for you to also create wallets' so people can get their coins?

Now on the other part they made some very big mistakes and trusted someone they should not have because he dug them a bigger hole. I truthfully look at it and think the new team is crazy for trying to save it. They would have been better of creating a new exchange with a clean image. I am talking about all the new people who have come in the last few weeks. I have no ownership in the new site I only wanted to help out to help other users since I spent way too many hours on the IRC when this was going down. As a person who invests this is a poor investment for the new ops team. (they are not even full owners) Because they are now responsible for all of the debt owed to customers. The new team is genuinely trying to save this place to make customers whole.
Sorry for the thread drift but. I do hope QB can get on other exchanges and the CR comes back and makes everyone whole. Last info I had about QB was the wallet was solvent but had a major issue because of the source code being off line so they could not update it.
We salvaged the source from the pool owners, so we're back on track ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Interesting info about Cryptorush. I will probably go there again to see if I can get some of my coins back and a lot of other people will think the same. Hope you guys can fix it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
