Can someone please give me the short and real story of what is going on with this coin?
I do not have the time to read thru 250 pages here. All I know is I mined and bought this
coin last week for like .9 btc, and now it is at .1 btc. What is going on? Is it dead and
we should sell/leave, or is it a great buying opportunity?

Not a dev, so I can't speak for them. But I would (and am) holding for now. The bumps are pretty normal for a new coin, the devs are working on it, and the sheep are panicking. Thats about right baaaaaa baaaaaaaa oh and the occasional piggy oinks up here and there but he's breakfast quite quick other than that nothing unusual for the 1st 2 weeks of a coin  |

Can someone, hopefully loljosh or MsCollec, confirm that staking is taking place, even if the up-arrow is not green and the wallet says "you have no mature coins"? I have 0.28 SYNC and my wallet has been open for days. I am running the latest flavored wallet, followed the instructions in the OP, the wallet is fully synced with 16 connections, but the stake arrow has never been green. All my transactions are over 50 confirmations.

yes your coins are staking the green light only warns you when its about to happen and gives you a rough time to expect when it goes green. sometimes the green light says 3 minutes to stake and its only stakes an hour later, but it will stake |

This is the 1st X11 + PoS coin of community having just 1000 coins. You will never find any PoS coin with that low amount anywhere on this forum (maybe yes in future because of Sync clones). This is what makes Sync different from other coins. Regarding to your statement related to flavoured wallet and copy paste codes, so let me tell you that 85% of the code in this coin is mine and nite69's ( he is the developer of Nite Gravity Wave NGW). The biggest innovation about this coin is to make PoS possible on just 1000 total coins. I think you didn't note another thing about this coin. Sync is currently having the record of highest net hashrate which was more than 300 GHS which is almost impossible for any other coin. I've seen you around the forums, involved in a number of coin launches (several were outright flops) in recent months. My problem with you is that you have already made your money on this coin so you have no reason to care how it goes from here out. And to be honest the launch was a mess. Testnet exists for a reason but my guess is, the transition to POS was never tested. It was just assumed it would work, and when it didn't it left everybody scrambling. As for your supposed "innovation" who cares? Its a POW/POS coin. All you did was reduce the number of blocks. The net hashrate is now gone. They mined it and dumped it. So who cares that it broke a record? All of the X-11 miners have gone back to mining other X-11 coins. I CAN CONFIRM THAT WALLET IS IN SYNC THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK LESS THAN 5 MINUTES
I HAVE TRANSFERED 1 SYNC TO THE NEW WALLET AND IT ARRIVED FROM MY FIRST WALLET TO MY NEW ONE IN UNDER 1 MINUTE

sync just been confirmed so in my wallet now begginnig stakeSorry to see you go ras  Well after around a day and ahalf i've managed to get my wallet installed , staked and confirmed with the balance ready for use not bad, how i did it? follow the thread I did have to close the wallet once for it to complete its initial sync after that plain sailing For those following this wallet install diary my original wallet has begun to stake again so its taken 1 day and a half to split syncs that have already been staked once into a brand new wallet install and get a successful completed stake on the new wallet and a second stake on the original wallet. Ofcource it may not happen like this for everybody but this is proof that although the current wallets have a minor hickup to sync, once they are synced they remain so and both fully stake syncs |

ras: i installed it on 7 different PCs and Laptops - there was no Problem - it syncs here - i paid it to 3 different wallet - also no Problem right after the next block appears it Shows up in the different wallet - 2 confirmations only and i can pay it back to the other wallets - still no problem Unfortunantly there is still that initiall hickup with closing the wallet just to get it to sync which it does eventually, and although that no biggie, to most people who know nothing about wallets and how they work seeing that is enough to make them run a mile whihc i'd say all those weak hands have left allready If this coin is to go forward then i have to agree with ras and the wallet must be a priority, it should have been done already but that the nature of crypto and i have no doubt that it will be resolved, the question is will it be in time to make a difference? |

I wouldn't go near it. something very untrustworthy about it. not transparent enough atm and *cough* see the current price - that's been achieved in tiny increments, not by big dumps - that's inside manipulation. What transparency do you need? You don't have to mine with us, but be clear about your points. So why are we very untrustworthy? As for the multipool Please can you publish here for all to see how many syncs you dispersed to all the miners thats the scrypt side and x11 side on the last two rounds of payment. This will go along way to alliviating the lack of transparency on the pool site. Its just simply not good enough to take your word on it. I'm not accusing you of anything but i do want those stats specifically i'm sure others would want to know exactly what you sold and levels you bought sync at and i'm not really bothered about that, but from a bussiness point of view whihc mining is considering the cost to do so The numbers I have asked for here should be made available immediatley for the last two payouts. I would think depending on how quick you answer will go along way to keeping me around on your pool and i am a significant contributer of that i am positive, if the stat share count on your site are to believed thanks |

Well the dev and his buds if that is the case have the most to lose here to an extent as they are probably holding themselves so i don't see how trashing their own project would possibly benefit them?? All conjecture and quite frankly not doing this thread any good at all |

The 1sync staked last night on the new wallet some time and and the payout was .003sync with 25 confirms left to go untill it becomes spendable on the original wallet no stake as yet but don't forget that the sync in there have already staked the previous day so it all seems normal on that front I will update again when i get another stake on either wallet |
