My wallet is working great now, staking, and missing deposit from Bittrex came in a few minutes ago
Bittrex was very fast in contacting me and solved my issues quickly

AFTER READING THE LAST 20 PAGES AGAIN I DECIDED TO CREATE A NEW WALLET ON MY LAPTOP FROM SCRATCH
TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN, I GOT THE WALLET FROM THE ORIGINAL PAGE AND USE THE BOOTSTRAP ON THE ORIGINAL PAGE
I CAN CONFIRM THAT WALLET IS IN SYNC THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK LESS THAN 5 MINUTES
I HAVE TRANSFERED 1 SYNC TO THE NEW WALLET AND IT ARRIVED FROM MY FIRST WALLET TO MY NEW ONE IN UNDER 1 MINUTE
IT IS NOW WAITING TO BE CONFIRMED.
I WILL STAKE THIS SYNC AND SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES AND REPORT
AS FAR AS THE WALLET GOES IT WORKS 100 PERCENT NO PROBLEMS!

So its great that slowly things are getting figured out with this coin and its transitioning to POS now. But nobody has really said anything about what this coin is good for...Is it just another POW/POS clone? The price is only going to keep going down unless sync is used for something...anything. Right now its a bunch of people sitting with their wallets open hoping to somehow get rich. The only thing you can do with this coin is convert it to other coins... Also its worth pointing out that while MsCollec generally gets credited with being the Dev, the user loljosh appears to actually be doing the coding. He's a dev for hire, and he works cheap. Also he's been accused of scamming before. I don't want your post to get hidden before I addressed your concerns. If you are here from the launch you will have noticed that I listed Josh name in the announcement and even his address was listed in the front page after he created a flavoured wallet. I wanted a full support when I'm at work that's why I brought in Josh and I think he's did a great job when I was not feeling good. He even stayed overnight. He could have been so easy if I paid him to code Sync. |

The wallet problems do indeed only appear in some cases and not others
On my primary PC the situation seems to be getting worse as i can't even get it to sync at all anymore, let alone stake correctly. I shut it down
But on a different PC that I tried today (also different DSL connection) I had no problems at all with given conf. In fact it generated a stake which is accepted and getting all new blocks for about an hour now. So I'll leave it here to stake
I'll try different pcs on my home too to see if the problem is specific to the connection or to the machine.
BTW, this just occured to me. If I have multiple wallet clients running on multiple machines with the same wallet address is that a problem? and if not do I increase the chances of staking?

Gents. I would just like to say thanks for everyones help with regarding getting my wallet synced and staking. After hours of playing, and nearly losing my 5 Sync on more than 2 occasions  ive finally got it syncing correctly and also the little green light is there for staking. hapy days and thanks again long live sync club  |
