give the man +trust on his page
The problem with that, is that I'm on the default trust list, Dank is indeed a confirmed scammer (Although he is in the process of paying Squall back, and would have the tag removed once he is done so) and by adding trust to him, he would then be two layers deep on the Default trust list and therefore trusted by anyone that uses the Default trust list. Once Dank settles his debts, I'd be happy to leave him "official" feedback, but for now, I will just verify that I did indeed transact with him. And give him an informal +1 I would have done this deal with him, however $4000 is a bit too much cash to send comfortably in the mail, and I'm really not a fan of banks.

I will confirm that Dank did purchase $1420 in BTC from me recently. He did send first, but everything checked out.

pm works, or you can hit the report button in the bottle right of their post

Hehe, Satoshi Nakamoto is able to design a complex cryptographically secure p2p cryptocurrency, but is unable to create a website like how DPR got caught looking for developers.

I agree somewhat but not at all. I'm hugely not a fan of diamonds. They are the best example of market manipulation, and convincing people that they want sparkly glass that is no less common than any other shiny rock in the ground. However, I do believe you are incorrect about, "its just a matter of time until we have enough power etc". Its not only power intensive, but its unimaginably slow. Using a large hadron collider it takes something like 50 years to create 1/4th of an oz of gold? Its like setting up a huge CPU miner setup for Bitcoins. Even if you have free power, its still damn stupid.

forgot to mention that I can also do BTC-E USD for people that don't want to gamble on the BTC Rate and delivery time.

I'd cast Goat, because then I'd know his real name, so I could find that picture of him and a bunch of other bitcoiniers sitting around a table, with goat flipping off the camera. That was my desktop for a while, but someone got onto my computer and changed it to George Costanza, and I don't know what happened to the Goat picture.
That or Spiderman. There was an interview with Stan Lee about Spiderman a long time ago, and he said the greatest atribute of spiderman (the original comics) was no one knew his ethnicity, or age, so any kid could pretend they were spiderman. Same thing applies here.

aluminum is useful too
Aluminum was considered a precious metal in the 1700 and 1800s. It was very desireable, and very hard to obtain with old mining methods. Anyway, I don't see Bitcoin replacing precious metals, as they are completely different. First, Bitcoins are still very new technology. They are an incredibly risky investment, because the chances of failure are still there. Precious metals have been used for 5,000 years. People worry about the price, but they don't worry about their power going out and being completely unconnected to their stores of wealth and finances. There will always be that draw to tangible assets, which also explains the Casascius Coin craze. If someone was to ask me right now what is a better investment for 20 years from now, Bitcoins or Gold/Silver, I'd probably say Gold/Silver.

Unless no one spends their coins, in which case in a year or two your BTC will be worth 0

So BCB wishes you to post the blackmail, rather than making some excuse, and you have no record of it? riiiiiiiiight...

Now Selling Casascius coins! just kidding, that was a joke at how suddenly the marketplace is 95% Cas coin threads. Although I may in the future if I buy more than I have now.

It also prevents learning. On my FinShaggy account I had tons of newbs thank me because I was the only one that would answer right away, while all the old schoolers bitched at me for being present too often.
So it is give and take.
You also know that ban evasion results in more bans right?

Yep, also against Ebay TOS, so even if the guy does have good intentions, the listing will probably be taken down, and any sort of buyers protection would be nullified.

aprox 8 BTC to sell today.

You guys may want to use someone like TomatoCage as escrow, I believe he deals with LTC and BTC.

Can you elaborate on that please? Making false accusations is quite an offense.
Seconded, please provide some sort of proof to your claim. Statements in large red letters don't really mean much unless you support them.

They are something like 1/3rd of an Oz each, probably a bit less than that, because I was weighing them with plastic protectors on. I'm not really interested in selling them for scrap value though.

Intimidated by the cliff that is the Bitcoin price? Not sure if it will climb higher, or drop in the coming weeks? Silver and Gold don't tend to drop 25% of their value in 15 minutes swings like we have become accustomed to.

A few slightly interested parties, but no one has jumped on it yet. I'm still accepting offers until I get bored of trying to sell it, and to the music shop she goes.
