Congrats chronicsky!

Quote
Second Clue:
If Log x (1 / 8 ) = - 3 / 2, then x is equal to

log z(x) = y
z^y=x

z=???
Y=--1.5
X=0.125

4^(-1.5)=0.125

4 might be the answer to that hint!

What a coin!  Thanks for letting me know and we'll figure something out.   Smiley

owl,
Thanks for the input and I have a #5 Polished Silver which I haven't added to the list yet.  Send me a PM when you get a chance.   Wink

People should just chill out and be nice. I have sold 6 coins at $20 each plus shipping, and it would be beneficial to everyone if people would be honest about the coins they have. I don't really care about winning the prize, I just want to have a cool collectors set that says hey I finally competed a set. Because with the first series someone had both #003s that I needed offered on craigslist. I probably won't ever get them, but it's all good. You can't win them all.

Agreed, I will be selling a #1 coin for $25 not incl. shipping ($5 premium for a #1 coin  Cool) to a lucky user on this forum.  I've never completed a set of these coins in either series and am hoping I can this time around. The coins in this series turned out great and I'm glad to have already had the opportunity to trade with more than 3 users on this forum with these coins!

It's really interesting that you say this - "it would be beneficial to everyone if people would be honest about the coins they have" as I was having second thoughts about putting my final coin list up since others will now know what numbers I value.  It's a double edged sword in that aspect since someone could know they hold your key coin and want extra for it (Shocked) but I think it's best to your point if we trade fair, work together, and prove we have a good community of collectors here.
2484  Other / Archival / Re: . on: July 01, 2016, 03:46:09 PM
Note to traders:

Please do not try to be greedy / extort other users who are trying to complete sets.   Wink

I've gladly traded coins to users who are trying to complete sets but I'm not asking them for more than the $20-25 suggested trade value per coin and feel asking for way over that value (>$100) is not productive to the thread or community.

Others can chime in if they agree / disagree.  Smiley

In my first box I got:

Polished Copper #90
Polished Silver #60, 94
Antique Gold (or Brass) #25
Antique Copper #1

If someone has a chance to post a picture of the antique gold and antique brass side by side, I would appreciate it.

I wish I could order another box now Smiley

SimplyRouge2,
I would love to trade you for the #25 Antique Gold coin as that will complete my set.  It is the only one I am missing as poloherb and ezeminer have traded me their 25's since I collected 4 from packs.  I will send you a PM.   Wink

I'm not sure I'll hear about the missing #2 coin coming up, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for poloherb.   Cool

Very nice, hopefully the coin arrives safely!   Smiley

I have updated the first post clarifying information about the most recent additions to the emporium.
2488  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [NEW] The Bitcoin Block, full block reward from BTCC Mint on: June 30, 2016, 05:32:08 PM
If it were really made of pure gold, then it would be forever stuck in your country, as it won't be feasible for you to move it across any national borders.  Remember that border crossing require the declaration of all money, and that includes all precious metals like gold and silver.  Who would do that?

Whereas now, you're freely able to bring the Titanium Bitcoin Block anywhere you want to go.  Just keep it safe.

thanks,
Bobby

Bobby,
For such a high valued item I would pick it up in person and I'd gladly declare the gold when bringing it back, but that's just me.  Wink

You're not buying the Titanium.  You're buying the Bitcoin.
(Think of the Titanium as just the container for your precious Bitcoin.)

This Bitcoin Block comes in a very nice solid redwood box.  Are you saying that the redwood material has to be desirable enough to justify the multi-bitcoin premium?

thanks,
Bobby

I understand the Titanium is just a container, similar to how copper and brass are common "containers" on other coinage.  It would have been nice to see it in Silver or at the very least Titanium with Gold Highlights.

I don't think the packaging should affect the price since I'm not buying it for the packaging, so I would say no.  I like the design of the bar/coin, just not the price.

What's the big issue with selling an unfunded/buyer funded coin?
2489  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [NEW] The Bitcoin Block, full block reward from BTCC Mint on: June 30, 2016, 05:19:19 PM
I wouldn't be quick to pay for an item with such a value/premium.  Nice bar/coin, but you're marketing to maybe a handful of users on this forum.

With the premium you're charging (>$4K USD) I would expect this thing to be made of gold.   Wink

EDIT: I know it's 200+ grams, just stating that titanium is not a desirable metal for such a large premium.

Appreciate the kind words!  I agree that the stands are a little flimsy as I have broken 2 of them myself when I initially tested them out.   Shocked

I prefer the velvet pouches over the plastic stands any day, but I still ship the stands with the brass coins as they were provided to me by the original manufacturer.

Very nice decoded and chronicsky!  I received a couple numbers that people are looking for and will update my listing later this week.

Currently looking for #2 Antique Silver if anyone knows where it is hiding.   Cheesy

Very nice picture!

Thanks for the update and yes, the stands were in proper shape before being shipped.  I think I even bubble wrapped them but the package took quite a journey.  Smiley

Let me know via PM if you want to get a replacement stand and we should be able to figure something out.

2498  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] OMETEOTL Bitcoins on: June 27, 2016, 08:17:37 PM
My coins arrived today.  Very, very impressed with the quality of these.  These are some of the best coins to come out in 2016.  Just don't ask me to spell or pronounce "Ometeotl"  Tongue

Agreed, I think we need an official video from defcon where he pronounces it.   Grin

If anyone wants one of these,
they are available on ebay:

GOLD : http://www.ebay.com/itm/131860077336

SILVER : http://www.ebay.com/itm/131860070394

I see they're being sold by gravitate at quite a premium on ebay and it makes the 10oz silver coin from OgNasty look like a steal!
