The reality is this is finally jl777's "Jump the Shark" moment, after an endless string of serial asset and coin creations, Icarus has finally flown to close to the sun.
30k btc to clone zcash? LOL
It was nice knowing you jl777, now we know why you kept yourself anon for years, eventually the game ends, good night sweet Prince.
Scammers tend to go by the same name. Remember Josh of Butterfly Labs anyone? Empty promises. Then came Josh of PayCoin --- same name same fate. Jordan Lee of Nubits went by the name JL and now we have James Lee who goes by the name jl777. Jordan Lee scammed his own coin and disappeared. This Komodo scheme is more like an exit ICO (comparable to exit pumps). What happened to Josh of butterfly lab anyway... Didn't see him for quite some time.

Anyone able to withdraw from coin-miners.info?
Edit: never mind, I guess it takes more confirmations than the pool shows.
Try it now. Just received It seems that the payouts got stuck again , for the moment i can't fix it now because im not at home right , but when i get home i will fix it and you will receive your payouts What is this due to? The wallet reject the payment wih the error "that the coins are already spent" so i need to make the payment manualy and do a repairwallet sounds like an input/coin control issue. I've found same bug at some wallets , will not mention the coin names etc, it's pretty common if you try to spend coins that are staking . I will check it. It will be fixed in next wallet release. (only minor issue) btw...Blockchain works great. POS is running smoothly. (I hit few blocks) Fixed the payouts , i dont know why i get that error and i dont stake coins on the pool That's a common issue with walletbuilders coins. Put staking=0 in the coin config and or set reservebalance to something funny high

I've got an unoptimized version up here: https://github.com/ocminer/cpuminer-veriumHowever, there is no working testnet, so it's hard to tell if its working now as diff is already sky high and someone most likely has an optimized version or even a GPU miner. I've had it running for about 10 hours on a 16 CPU VM but couldn't found a block - however also no rejects, so I cannot say that it's working or not. If I have some extra time I'll try to get testnet running again and debug more. The miner will take ages before it prints first results as the huge memory page has to be filled at first, don't worry, just let it sit. This codebase is the same as the wallet so I wouldn't expect any issues. There isn't a way to make a faster GPU miner with the current ram as they have now. Since each thread requires at least 128 MB of ram, and the best GPUs have 8GB, you could only run at most ~80ish threads instead of the 2500+ you can for standard scrypt and it ends up being slower than a CPU thanks to poor GPU branch prediction, clocks, etc. It might be possible to optimize the CPU miner, but we already optimized the low hanging fruit with compiler and CPU extension optimization. Good work, though. Thanks for doing this. Also, to clarify, does 16 CPU VM mean 16 cores or 16 logical hyper threaded cores? What hash rate are you getting? 16 virtual cores, it's a DO container. Even after now almost 20h not a single block... I hope someone will release an optimized miner to the public soon...

The cointainer i'm running Sia off tries to connect to a lot of local addresses (10.10.1.10:9982, 192.168.x.x:9982) on a regular basis causing a lot of hits on my firewall, is this intended behavior ?
Still having this issue...

As long as the block retarget will stay as slow as it is, those attacks will be unavoidable.
This happened a few years ago with other coins as well.. on X11 for example.. Thats why KGW / DGW etc. was invented.

Testnet is not working with the release on github, it keeps searching for a genesis block when I run with -testnet
You might want to fix that...
I believe they took down the testnet node Uh okay... thats... unfortunate.. I have no supercomputer to test miners :/

Is it hard to make a pool for this ? At current network hashrate its pretty impossible to find a block with a single PC. How low will the reward go btw ? it started at 17~ and now its 7~.
It seems somebody already probably managed to create a GPU miner and is not willing to share it but will be looking to sell it to other people once that person has mined a good amount of coins. Would be able to see which address is mining the largest amount on the block explorer, I'm not seeing that... Nope, if you're mining to your own wallet it just generates a new address for every found block Is there a (publc) external CPU miner yet ? From what I see this is just a modified scrypt-n version.. I'd build a pool if I'd have something to test with and it's easier to build the pool than the miner Contact the Devs, they might be able to help you out with any technical stuff Well.. Who are the Devs and how can they be contacted ?! :-) Send us an email: vericoin@vericoin.infoCan't "you" just post a cpu miner on github or so ? The Devs just went through a huge release here....give them a little a little bit of a break! If you want it that bad why not do it yourself? Huge release ?! OH sorry, I've forgotten they just reprogrammed the internet and need some rest A huge release would it have been with CPU Miner, GPU Miner, maybe an official pool etc.. Your being ridiculous...I love how everyone here expects the moon, the stars and everything between. These guys are volunteering their own free time to develop something that could be game changing. Well.. A lot of people here volunteer their free time, so I don't see anything special. However, I don't expect the moon and the stars, especially not here but I just asked if there is a cpu miner available or not.. Obviously there is no public version - yet -, so I'll just build my own and share it with you ... In my free time...
