Can someone explain to me how does Veriswap from the "Send" button work in the wallet? is it just for people who got in for the ICO? or can I exchange my Verium directly for Vericoin? if so what's the exchange rate?
It's actually not enabled yet. When enabled (requires exchanges to make a VRC-VRM pair), it will be defined by the rate on exchanges.

Need some help here.
Launched a Virtual server running Windows, downloaded the wallet and started loading the blockchain.
However it only shows 178blocks, and once it has synced up to 178 it keeps going over that, so it now says ~-27 block left and keeps going up.
Any help? why does this happen?
Thanks,

Happened here aswell... currently at block 360, so will finish syncing when 178 + ~-182...

We are working with Poloniex and Bittrex to add a trading pair.....then this will be enabled.

The syncing indicator is notoriously inaccurate when it gets close to sync, it happened with pretty much all coins at low block counts. Until you see the block info (difficulty, network hash rate, etc.) fill in, you are not synced yet.

I had the same problem here too. After my server got synced, my windows wallet synced without problems too. you can try adding my poolservers address (no Veriumpool but wallet will be there as sth like a node, accepting incomeing/outgoing traffic) This is the address of my server: poolinat0r.com

Testnet is not working with the release on github, it keeps searching for a genesis block when I run with -testnet
You might want to fix that...

New question for you tech-savvy people.
Is there a way to combine different computers to put all their hashes in to one wallet thus increasing the chances of finding blocks?
If so, I'd be keen to learn how to. As I now have about 4 machines running but when they are split up I won't find much.
Thanks,

Actually you will find the same amount but it might seem you find blocks smaller. The answer is, on an example based on 4computers with each 100h/m: 4 computers will each need 24h to find a block if the mine alone 4 computer combined with 4*100h/m will give you a block every 6h. So per day 24h/6h=4 blocks So you see, you will always find the same amount. If you want to have them find the coins in the same address/wallet: Copy your wallet.dat from any computer so the other 3, so all your coins will get generated in the same wallet. Please correct me if i am missunderstand Verium mining

But for this instance where I am renting Virtual servers I'd prefer it to put all power from different machines in to one wallet. (If the provider decides to shut me down for some reason). Here is where a standalone miner would be great

I believe they took down the testnet node Yes, our testnet is down, however it's trivial to get it going again-- just mine the genesis block and recompile with the genesis hash. You shouldn't need to test on a testnet for mining's sake, though. The wallet will reply via RPC whether you are submitting valid hashes. Whether you hit a block or not will change, but you will know if you're mining properly.

Okay so I got my miners running. I'm running 5 or 6 of them. Can I use the same passpharase / wallet on all 6 of them ? Or do I need a different one each time ?
Thanks

Are they all connected to the same wallet? Thus increasing the total hashes?

I started solo mining on an i7 2600 on windows 7; I'm getting 720 H/min and it tells me the estimated time to find a block is 23 hours.
Let's wait and see!
