What you mean by dust ? Can explain to me ? I don't understand. This site not have withdraw fee right ? Having lots of small amounts in your wallet can mean you pay more transaction fees in the future as transaction size in bytes will be larger when sending payments. I use https://inputs.io/wallet to collect the dust and then send to my bitcoin-qt wallet when it's accumulated to a sensible amount. Unfortunately, I don't have the old wallet.dat, I only have the account address and an idea of the password...
I just realized that an account can have multiple address, so I guess knowing one address is pretty useless for me?
I don't intend to hack accounts... You can see my profile history on bitcointalk. My balance was around 0,06BTC as far as I can remember... sad but not so bad if lost.
One address is pretty useless, yeah. The password only encrypts your private keys, anyway - you'd need the actual wallet.dat (the encrypted private keys) so that you could decrypt the private keys to the addresses. |
