2481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Reasons why there's an Increasing Crypto Scam Rate on: July 11, 2022, 11:00:22 PM

Not being careful enough leads to misinformation by the crypto influencers because they are always finding an illegal means for survival, imposters on social media platforms pretend to be what and whom they are not and make use of games and collectibles, fake crypto investments platforms to launch a Phishing attack on crypto users.

The saddest thing is that many are still unable to read and analyze if the project is a scam especially if they saw huge rewards and easy money - most of the time people got hooked up with such things due to some personal needs and Greediness. That will certainly make people become crazy about money that even miss determining if they are joining scam giveaways or not.

These scam issues will no longer stop as many people aren't changing their mindset and as well as their attitudes.

Kevin Durant can't leave as he is under contract. If the Nets will decide to keep him, no choice for Durant but to play for the team.

There are offered by other teams but the Nets want a big return in exchange for Durant as they gamble for him.

Even Durant requested a trade, it will be hard for the Nets to just released him without a bunch of good players.

I don't know what will be the closest thing that might happen so let's wait instead.

I think Durant is mentally no longer with the team. So even if he stays for one more season, the Nets won't be able to achieve any impressive results. At the same time, I understand the Nets management in this situation and their desire to get a star player instead of Durant. Their goal right now is to keep at least some of the team's potential as they've already invested a lot of money and effort to form this hopeless big trio.

It turns out they are just hype, I just can't imagine that people believe that the Nets will win a championship last season but ended up eliminated in the 1st round. It the fault of the Nets management, they relied too much on the "star players" that already aging and they just dispose their young potential stars.

Game 2.  Ginebra vs TNT.

Mikey Williams has to bounce back here, he had a bad game against SMB, and looks like he is not having a good start in this game as well. He only scores 3 points and already in the 2nd quarter, their top scorer is Pogoy with 10 points. TNT might not win if Williams will struggle again, so I'm thinking of betting on Ginebra while they are still down.

He now has 17 points but the shooting percentage (6/16) is not good, but looks like TNT is still in control of the game, end of 3rd quarter already and they are still up by 13 points. Well, let's see if the NSD team will have a big run in the 4th quarter, they are good at this, so let's see.

He finished with 19 points, not bad, but it was really Pogoy who played better and he scored 30 points to lead the TNT in this big win against the Ginebra.

So now, here's what happened.

Ginebra beat SMB
SMB beat TNT.
TNT beat Ginebra.

These 3 are the best teams so far IMO.

Thanks for the picture of this big 3 teams, it's very unpredictable.

As of now, SMB is taking the solo lead in the standing, SMB is currently the number 1 with 8-1 record.
Fajardo seemed back already, I think they have a big chance to win the championship? it's either Ginebra or SMB, TNT? maybe.
2484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 08, 2022, 02:00:46 PM
Every traders want to buy low but it looks like traders are confused of when to buy more coins.
There's a difference between crypto traders and investors which I believe ought to know.  The last time I checked traders, based on the market momentum while is the investors that usually wait for the bottom price before accumulation because their own strategy is either buy low and sell high or hold for the long term.
Having said that, there's no reason to be confused since we're yet to reach Q4 when the market always reaches the last bottom price during bear season.

But still, we are not sure about that as not all in Q4 are meant to dump, in fact, this is the time we also reach the ATH last year.
And so I said also and encourage people to just buy some now while prices are still cheap as we don't know what is incoming. We'd rather be prepared rather than blame ourselves and regret it. As we still have the chance, we better not lose it, instead grab the opportunity and then wait for the recovery.
2485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the story of my investment in Bitcoin on: July 08, 2022, 01:35:49 PM
Wow! I do admire your courage in taking out a loan just to buy bitcoin. However, according to me, this is not a wise decision.
Exactly, we can buy half of Bitcoin if that is the only amount that we can afford to buy without borrowing money. In fact, we can add more if we already have spare money just for the sake of not compromising our finances.
Quote
If you have another source of income, it would be preferable to use it to pay off the debt rather than rely solely on the profit you anticipate from one bitcoin over the course of the upcoming years. However, if you're going to rely on it, it would be much better if you used a Dollar-cost averaging strategy as opposed to taking out a loan to buy bitcoin. Under DCA, you could have divided the total investment amount and purchased the crypto asset in intervals.

It should be important to consider how to pay these debts and bank loans before we decide. We even don't know when the market recover so we can pay our loans. Maybe, at least having an additional source of income could help and be considered as a backup in case the bear season stays long.

Well, it has been done already, that was the choice of OP. Only we wish him success in his crypto journey.
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 08, 2022, 12:43:47 PM

I guess Bob's careful match making, and that's why he made a lot of champions, and not sure about it, but perhaps it was all in-house championship fights.

But not all boxers loved his style, I believe there are plenty of boxing superstars that left his promotion because they are not getting the fights they like. Just like Manny Pacquiao, when he left Bob, he had the full freedom to choose the boxer that he lights to fight, and Manny had already earn more money in a fight since Bob has no more slice of the revenue.
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 08, 2022, 11:55:49 AM
The last game is over, again DYIP loses by a Huge Margin. Magnolia beat them by 21 points, and bettors won here because Magnolia covered the spread. At some point, I think Magnolia was up more than 30 points, but DYIP was able to trim the lead a bit.

This game was not fun to watch, it should first game instead of Blackwater vs Phoenix IMO.
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2022, 11:22:32 AM

There is still a long time for the 2022-23 season to start. It is going to be underway on October 18, 2022. Lakers have a long time period ahead to think about the new team composition that they should be building for next season. Their lineup was really inadequate last season and Lebron had to do all the work. This caused them to have a poor season and say goodbye to the playoff round before even it started. Lebron must be waiting for proper trades to be motivated to continue playing for them.
A month is actually too short for forming a team that will compete (I mean aim for playoff spot). With that short preparation, you won't get a cohesive team especially if they made a lot of changes.

Lakers will get to the playoffs if they will make the right changes, they are just unlucky last season because Davis was injured most of the time and Westbrook seemed to be playing like he had not won an MVP before. That mistake has to be corrected, and if one of the big 3 will be traded, I'm not sure if they have time to build that chemistry again.

Davis getting injured is not a mistake, no player would thought that they will get injured when they play, injury is just possible to any player, it's just that Davis has been prone to injury even before he got signed by the Lakers, however, Davis help the Lakers won a championship, so I think they will keep him.
2489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 08, 2022, 10:55:15 AM

The APY for staking this crypto is 18.25% - is this worth doing or due to the fee am I just better off holding?

Don't get me wrong but you are trying to risk your money on a nonpotential project with also having an unrealistic return. Am I saying this why? It is because it was a special offer, far different from the others as even known and the potential projects can't even give that compensation how much more this project that is not working already. As I understand this, they give this offer to make visibility in the market but the question is if they could spend that much on their clients and stakeholders? Or just twist the rewards or simply leave the market (exit scam).
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: July 08, 2022, 07:18:21 AM
Problem is not with the coin or its economic structure, the problem is now with the "trust". Investors around the world are having rage against the owners now. This can't be trusted at all. They have lost the money which can't be recovered. The project is now unrealistic.
And this project can't be trusted anymore after their tragic issue. Many people have been hopeful before, putting some money on this thinking it was reliable but unfortunately, with just a twinkle in their eyes, it started to dump and worsen the situation. The team trying to revive with a different market strategy but it is just a failed attempt as people neglected to give trust again with them.
Luna project is dead already in the eyes of the people around, though it still exists.
2491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: July 07, 2022, 10:48:18 PM
We always have thought that bitcoin will never go down again because we have that mindset when it's pumping, there's no way that it will have a pull back.

But it happens.

And as you ignore the corrections, you need to have decision that before any pump happens, you're holding it. Also, do not panic if the price now is under from what you've bought it. Eventually, it is going to be back there but it may take time.
It is to say that we can just ignore the market cycle up and down. We thought that last year Bitcoin will continue to grow as the adoption is also increasing but guess what, sudden drops occur and many people say I was wrong. But the good thing is that we see the market is calm, I couldn't even see massive selling (panic), and I think these newcomers had already learned how to handle their emotions and have a positive mindset knowing that the market will soon recover. Thus, instead of selling, people had find this situation to accumulate more and get ready for the upcoming bull season.
2492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 07, 2022, 10:20:00 PM
Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
- keep yourself ready for more dumps
 - help yourself to keep calm and think this is just temporary
 - learn to ignore the market decline and focus on our goal
 - sometimes we need not check our portfolio every day

Bear season is a big challenge for newcomers but if they are aware of this situation before investing, I don't think this is surprising. But I think they have been prepared and ready to accept reality.

2493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 07, 2022, 11:43:41 AM
Bradley Beal has negotiated in a 251 million 5 year deal and has a no trade clause in the contract. He is the only player in the league who has a true no trade clause in the contract. Beal is very very lucky to have earned a contract like that to be honest. From my point of view. Its definitely not worth it for the organisation. Beal is a good player but I don't consider him a superstar to be earning such contracts.
Wow, these players are still getting good contract even though they don't make any good thing for their teams. This isn't for Bradley Beal only but for other players that doesn't make any impact on their respective team, it's like they're just milking the organization.
Beal has been playing like a superstar, unfortunately, he is the only superstar left on his team that's why the Wizards are struggling now. When Wall and Beal was still playing together, the team reached in the playoffs and they are very competitive although they have not reach in the NBA Finals.

About the salary, I think he deserve that.

Bradley Beal Average point per game during 2021-2022 season was 23.2pts which is  already high and worthy to have a super star salary but what I don’t understand about Washington is why they give so much salary for a 5 year contract which is already sufficient to acquire more players with good skills that will help Beal. Washington management is surely all in investment on Beal since they lock him in for 5 years without any assurance that they can get a better result on the upcoming season. I really think they need to acquire more young talents and develop by themselves if they really want to focus the play around Beal.

Probably because they don't want to lose Beal, what if other teams will offer Beal a big salary, then they will end up having no superstar anymore. As long as Beal is healthy, he is still very valuable to the team, eventually they would be able to build a team with good chemistry where Beal leading the team to the playoffs.

2495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's price "basically a fire sale"? on: July 07, 2022, 09:36:05 AM
This could be the last chance to see it at its current price. For me this is really the best time to buy bitcoin because next bottom of market cycles would be much higher if we are going to base bitcoin's historical corrections. We are just in early phase of this bear market so we have a lot of time to accumulate until the next cycle.

I'm preparing for the price to go deeper at this point because everyone is thinking this is not the bottom yet considering also the global crisis that we experience now.
Well, I hope so but honestly, I wasn't already convinced with the current pumps it showed as this bear season will stay longer just like in the last bear market, and more often it pumps during weekends and drops again.

I will still be going to grab more Bitcoin if ever it drops below $18k. I already learn my mistakes in the last Bullrun and certainly, I can't afford to lose this opportunity again. But if you are right, well, I have nothing to regret as I was already held some ready for the big run.
2496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the only option left on: July 06, 2022, 10:49:20 PM
Don't forget also that aside from Bitcoin, I do believe that these crypto currencies are worth to hold and look forward to based on their market capitalization, or total value of all of the coins in current circulation, which is still best to invest for me this current bear market.
I agree with you on the principle that these currencies also deserve attention and that they have broad prospects for development. On the other hand, I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but I don't really like the idea of sanctifying Bitcoin and making it our only hope. I know that it will not collapse and that we currently need it to adjust the market, but we must not forget that it is negative to rely on Bitcoin as the only major component because the hypothesis of collapse is not impossible in an emerging market such as cryptocurrencies.
Indeed, the best option in this bear situation but that was not the only option left. I support encouraging people to invest in Bitcoin alone but never do we have to reject and decline the potentiality of some altcoins like ETH and BNB as they are known as profitable and trusted altcoins as well. Yeah, we can't just be blind as sometimes investing in altcoins is more profiting than Bitcoin. And we also have to consider this "don't put all your eggs in one basket", we can be ripped off if that happens.
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 06, 2022, 10:27:29 AM
What a very thrilling game, ROS was +4.5 and they only lose by 4 points, so they covered the spread.
That gives thrill to the bettors, especially if you are betting on the ROS, LOL.
It's expected that they will find a way to shoot the last basket despite the fact that they have no chance on winning again due to the points quotient.

This team is not gonna make it to the playoffs, they keep on losing so I don't trust them anymore.
Congratulations to the Boltz for winning the game, after tough losses, they are now finally back to the winning path.
Good start but the long losing streak make them lose their opportunity, better luck next season or next conference, but they are still better compared to DYIP, Converge and other teams that are not so competitive.
2498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 06, 2022, 09:47:31 AM
^ Yes, I also check and the other betting options is already available.

Magsayo by KO is 5.00 and Vargas 6.20. And then looking further, it seems that sport bookies are looking for this fight to go to distance.

On the other hand, some of us might think that the fight will not go to distance. We are looking for Magsayo to convince with a huge win by knock out.

I will take the KO win by Magsayo, this is a big odds and an opportunity for those who believe that Magsayo will win here by KO. Thank you guys for notifying us about the odds, I'm also waiting for the full odds.

Same here, I would not hesitate to take that odds as we don't usually see that kind of very attractive odds for a champion. Besides, we are supporting Magsayo here so it's a big treat for us especially if he will successfully defend his title via KO. I have to be honest, Vargas on record is really tough, but I believe Magsayo will do the work to KO him.
2499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Owner of the token/coin when it has value always change Smart Contracts on: July 06, 2022, 09:11:03 AM
As a bounty hunter, I will definitely be happy to receive the results of the campaigns that have been followed in this forum, but I myself am confused why the Owner always replaces the smart contract even though the token/coin is already known. what is the meaning of the tokens that have been distributed to participants, is it just for fun?
Running to a business like this wasn't a joke unless the intent is for scamming. But in some cases, some projects change their smart contract to speed up transactions and fees.
It is very important that we are also updated with the team/developers especially if we are holding coins. Some participants had missed the updates and it confuse them which lead them not able to trade or sell. And for sure they will explain their reason why conducting such changes and to help understand every holder and every investor.
2500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 05, 2022, 10:59:46 PM
Sorry OP but have nothing to support those claims and haven't seen why. Of course, that was certainly possible to come but it never works too easily and fast, it takes time as 1 month is too short.

We can just imagine that we've been already in 6 months of bear season, with nothing to hear from whales as I believe their influence could somewhat change the market momentum but unfortunately, they are silent.
