Game 2.  Ginebra vs TNT.

Mikey Williams has to bounce back here, he had a bad game against SMB, and looks like he is not having a good start in this game as well. He only scores 3 points and already in the 2nd quarter, their top scorer is Pogoy with 10 points. TNT might not win if Williams will struggle again, so I'm thinking of betting on Ginebra while they are still down.

He now has 17 points but the shooting percentage (6/16) is not good, but looks like TNT is still in control of the game, end of 3rd quarter already and they are still up by 13 points. Well, let's see if the NSD team will have a big run in the 4th quarter, they are good at this, so let's see.

He finished with 19 points, not bad, but it was really Pogoy who played better and he scored 30 points to lead the TNT in this big win against the Ginebra.

Anyway, SMB still won that game and is still at #1 in the rankings. As for Blackwater, they were trailing most of the game, but did not give up, rallied at fourth, and even forced overtime. This team has heart. But as a championship team, they are still far from it.

Anyway, SMB still won that game and is still at #1 in the rankings. As for Blackwater, they were trailing most of the game, but did not give up, rallied at fourth, and even forced overtime. This team has heart. But as a championship team, they are still far from it.

If they continue playing like this, even for now, they are far to be qualified as one of the championship squad/franchise, but sooner or later they will be. I like the aggressiveness and dedication of each player on the court. They are not giving up and they are trying their best to keep the gap close, and in this game they force SMB for an OT.

Though it's reflects that SMB still have deeper bench and manage to prevent a disappointing outcome,

but kudos to all the players of Blackwater, still in the top 4 and have a good chance to move forward till the next round.

Blackwater can be a good contender here only if they play consistently, since on this game they showcase their talents its just that SMB are more experienced team here and they already know what to do on this kind of situation. SMB did a great recovery here and still won, for Blackwater this could be a great start for a more winning games, they should do better next game.

I don't think that just in one game, even against SMB, Blackwater already proves as a championship team.

I watched that game and it was really thrilling. But I doubt if that's a series game against SMB, BW will have the same performance.

I even appreciate BlackWater since we all know they are being popular for having the longest losing streak that lasted from 2020-2022 and their first win since then is against the Top Seed Magnolia in Governors Cup the last conference.

Blackwater standing now is good because they might have a twice-to-beat advantage.

They should keep winning the remaining games, SMB is really a tough team to beat especially in a series but I'm already happy with what Blackwater has achieve so far. Slowly but surely, that's what this team will have to do and I hope their chemistry will not be destroyed by a possible trade.

If this happen again on blackwater for sure many fans will get dismayed again for this action they made since for sure there are so many fans are not into PBA these days and if they obviously trade there roosters who shows good potentials for sure this will create another anomaly in the league. But hopefully they will not do this and continue to develop what they have this season since its good to see that Blackwater is in good shape now.

Fans are tired of this type of rotation and cycle in the PBA. The PBA should do better and make the finals and semis open to all teams, not just MVP and SMC teams.
Blackwater is just getting good with their games and if this is going to happen to them, then, that's going to lose appetite for most fans that are becoming optimistic about them.

They traded Ray Parks because of the offer that they can't match. Parks during that time have an option to ask for a trade. Blackwater doesn't have the ability to pay their players with a good contract that's why it's easy for top teams to acquire good players on lower teams.

If you are Ray Parks, do you really want to play for this team like Blackwater? Definitely not and will choose a competitive team with a higher salary as there are lots of offers that Parks received at that time, not just TNT. Parks will demand a trade and they can't stop him.

This is just one of the unpredictable outcomes in the PBA. Well, I can say that Meralco is also a great team but Ginebra has been dominant so far. 2 losses in a row, this is not good, but good for us bettors as definitely they will bounce back in the next game.

I also see that way, team coming from behind are trying their best to climb and be competitive to make it to the playoffs, I really don't expect that Ginebra will be beaten by Meralco having that strong lineup and with healthy players, not sure what happened during the game, though I also see how hard Bolts did and a good Kudos to this team after winning the game.

Yeah, it was a close game, no one would expect that DYIP will be able to have a competitive game.

The spread was like -16.5 for the SMB Beerman and yet they only won by 1 point, SMB backers are not happy with the result for sure.

Btw, Fajardo was the best player in this game.

Terrafirma dyip Almost win against SMB but still the number 1 of this season will win a big 3pionts from the bigman junmar pajardo after that 3piont play dyip did not scored even though they have a chance to win if the ball will shoot by their rookie but he  did not make it  that drive to the basket almost break their losing streak but sad to say they don't have the chance to win a single game in this season.

North Port Batang Pier won over Phoenix Fuel Masters in the second game today, 95-92. Only 3 points lead. Phoenix got the chance to tie the game for an overtime but they missed the open 3 in the dying seconds of the game.

Over all it was an exciting game considering they were at the bottom three in the ranking. It is an important win for North Port because this win will keep their hopes alive to at least still make it to the top 8 if they can sweep their last two games. I doubt they will but as they always say, the ball is round. If Dyip almost pulled a win against the #1 SMB, maybe North Port can win against Ginebra on their next match up.
