Could you explain what BFL'ing is as far as ethics?  I cannot find anything where BFL has been worse than BA and yet they still have an ethics rating.  Just some clarification here would be helpful.

I agree blackarrow is about as bad as it gets when it comes to ethics.

They have also announced that they are broke (aka bankrupt) and have had a large amount of coins stolen (apparently their security isn't great as they also apparently had their email list stolen). So that should also fit in somewhere.

We're planning to take Apluspower to court as they have developed this PSU on our money and time and instead of replacing our PSUs they replace Bitmain's.

What a weird coincidence, we're planning to take Black Arrow to court as they have developed this ASIC line with our money and time and instead of servicing their customers, they mine themselves and sit on our money.

I always say that I believe in karma, and it seems that what has gone around is coming around.  Hopefully it is true that they got bitcoin stolen as that would simply be the icing on the cake.  But I wonder if they really will take the PSU manufacturer to court or if they will just say they will and then nothing happens just like the email "theft" and pretty much everything else this company has done.

Also, perhaps the  reason Bitmain got support for the PSU supplier is because they are actually purchasing in quantity and can be seen as a future business partner and not just a one time deal?

Uh why aren't all the holes plugged with screws?

Margins?  Tongue

no the chip is about 9.1mm wide so it looks like screw mounts are spaced 19mm apart,
you dont need that many screws to insure the board mounts securely to the heat sink.
it's just a case of the board designer giving the mechanical designer more options.

or did he mean financial margins, saving money by using less screws?

I have some praise and a request...

1) Thank you for fixing the issues with the mobile version of the website.  I appreciate the speed at which this was done once a problem was identified.

2) Could there be an option in mobile to view the regular website?  Every now and then a need arises for me to need to view the actual website and I would like this option to easily say, "Go to full website"

3) Instead of, "Bet not accepted, please try again" in the mobile website, is it possible to provide a reason for this error?  In my case an insufficient funds message should be fairly easy to implement or odds have changed  dialogue box popping up would be helpful.  I understand that sometimes it has to just say not accepted for various reasons, but common ones should be able to be identified and a message displayed.

Thanks!

Debitme, this is excellent feedback and:

1.  You are very welcome.  The team is working night and day on improvements and will continue to do so.

2.  Yes, excellent idea and we will work to implement this now.

3.  Certainly an insufficient funds message should be easy to implement are there others?

Not sure what other messages would be helpful, it just really threw me for a loop when I didn't know my balance was so low and I couldn't place the bet.

Also implementing the search feature into the mobile version would be nice if possible.

This is by far the best bitcoin gambling experience ive ever participated in, just cashed in a tournament and got paid immediately

Everything from their poker room to their sportsbook is top notch, especially their payment system and security of player funds
They even made deals so their players can participate in one of the biggest tournament networks in the world WPN, same poker tournament network as bookmaker.eu, 5dimes.eu, etc....

I wish more organizations would follow in their footstep

A++++

We certainly appreciate these words BTCBlade and we will continue to work very hard to bring an exceptional overall gaming experience.  We have many new innovations in the works and we are working on improving everything all day, everyday.  We always take the security of your account very seriously and your btc will always be safe and payouts prompt at Betcoin.  Thank you again and we are always open to any suggestions and feedback you have anytime.

Speaking of security, do you plan to implement a 2FA at any point?  Either for logging into an account or as an option to withdraw?
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Richardsguide.com sports betting Picks $25 a month +12.12 BTC on: October 08, 2014, 12:14:53 AM
For those interested in viewing Rich's pick history, I have made a google docs spreadsheet to help track his picks and my profit.

I started updating the spreadsheet since the 4th, when I switched off of my excel spreadsheet I was using, and the numbers in their are representative of my actual bets.  I will update the sheet hopefully daily, but I cannot promise that, but will update it as soon as I can.

It can be found here...
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g6LzPc8VJRAiBkCKeGwxesRc5jK067SSUWxM0TnSMCE/edit?usp=sharing
Please feel free to let me know of any additions or changes you would like to see to help this sheet evolve and become easier to read.

Thanks,

DebitMe
2492  Economy / Services / Re: Silver Wallets Signature Campaign on: October 06, 2014, 08:05:42 PM
But the strangest thing about this signature campaign is that it is still vacant even after 8 days after its date of announcement.

I think, the main reason behind this is everyone is not comfortable at providing their residential address online.

He has been selling cascasious coins for a very long time and has been around for a very long time.  He is just getting into his own brand of coins now.

Plus you can always get a deposit box at the bank and ship it there.

I've tried two times to register under you with the Betcoin ref link. I have to register in two different pages in both cases and still can't login with any of these 2 accounts giving me a "Username and password do not match" error. Could you please explain how do you register on this website?

EDIT: Third try, third account I've register with your link, still can't login in betcoinsports.com: "Username and password do not match". Is this a joke?

I also sent them a PM to see what is going on make sure to ask in there thread to.!
Advice. After the games have began or are over post your plays here. That way people aren't just seeing 6-0 today! They also get an idea of what you bet and if it might be useful to them to subscribe aka a college football fan might like to follow you if he sees you betting college football.

Betting lines close once the game begins so just post them after that point. Just a suggestion.

They could still bet it live, I think what he is doing is fine.  He is winning money, there are many people with high reputations posting how much they have made, its up to people whether they choose to follow him or not as the information is all out there besides his actual picks.

Dang, awesome day!  5-0, with a ton of bitcoin won and still one more bet out.  Hopefully we can make it 6-0 and turn this awesome day into a phenomenal one!
2495  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: October 05, 2014, 04:44:57 AM
Just got an email disguised as a Cex.io Mailer asking me to deposit coins to my "new account" and I would receive an extra 50% bonus on my deposit.  The email came from this address sajeev.kumar@agsindia.com.  Just thought Cex should know so that they can put some kind of disclaimer out that someone is trying to steal bitcoins posing as a cex.io account.

DO NOT SEND BITCOINS IF YOU RECEIVE THIS EMAIL!

I have no idea how they got my email address though and were able to connect it to that I use cex, so be careful about receiving anything like this.
2496  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 4 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX on: October 03, 2014, 08:17:44 PM
Looks like they cut the hosting fee for scryptX as well.  It went from almost 5 btc last week to 3.6 this week, and the exchange rate sure didn't recover.

Looks like they "forgot" to distribute the DOGE mined 2 weeks ago...
unfortunately without stats we have no visibility on what is being mined and anything else.
Also no news on how to invest the >100btc of the fund.

(just out of curiosity: how do you know about the forgotten doge?)

They had announced that they would start merge mining doge and ltc with the Sept 12th update, but on Sept 19th, the calculation only showed ltc converted to btc.  On the 26th it showed the number of doge mined as well, but perhaps was just catching up for the previous 2 weeks, but today, since the number was roughly the same, it showed that it was in fact not lumped in the 26th news and indeed, has not been paid out.

2498  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TradeFocus.net - Up to 3.5% Daily profit in cryptocurrencies mining on: October 02, 2014, 08:48:22 PM

I don't care some negative viewpoint, some people have bad experience with lumina or cryptco but tradefocus is different.  Design, Company, interest rate is rational . let's see what they do.

Interest rate is not rational, what universe do you live in that can possibly come close to a 3.5% return per day!  Not possible, can't be done, obvious scam.

Up to $300 deposited you can get only 0.6% return per day, the 3.5% is only for very big deposits

I am not sure what your point is, as that is still so completely irrational that it isn't even funny.

Again, any money put into this will result in a return of less than 20% of your money paid back, then the OP will disappear, guaranteed!

2500  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: October 02, 2014, 06:48:30 PM

Also, did anyone else feel like the update was a giant FU to everyone?  It sounded really really smug to me and sort of like, yea whatever F you all I will do want i want.  Also ScryptX should have lowered fees now too since we now know that the hosting fee was not the bottom dollar that they could charge people.

No, I can't reasonably see it as an FU. At the end of profitabilty, Cryptx lowered hosting costs in order to prolong the life of the mine. Would you rather he didn't, so that we never received a dividend again, and the share price fell to zero immediately?

I think you misunderstood what I meant, not that what he did was a FU, but the way he did it.  I think we both agree that this just barely extends the life of the asset for a few more weeks, and they have just admitted that they can run the mine at lower hosting costs, so why did they wait until now to lower the hosting cost?  They are just trying to make as much money as they can and don't really care about the investor.
