Indeed.  Grin

Come on, MiSKLaCH. Do you really hate these FE people? Don't they give you more pleasure than you almost could find anywhere else in the forum? Don't you actually laugh so hard at some of the things they say?

Have a little heart. They don't mean to be funny. It's simply their nature. Like, retards in action look funny. But we should respect them in their weakness. Even pity them. Come on. You don't really have to hate them... or is it your nature?

Science cant be a religion, but it's a part of my life my own religion)

Well here in my place, they say, Science is more on theories, Religion is more on homilies. Science based their belief on theories by using mathematical statements as a proof, Religion based their belief on writings written by the disciples of Jesus Christ.

Homilies can stand forever, because they are conjecture. Theories should be dropped as theories when it is found that they will never be able to be proven - like big bang theory.

The interesting thing about the Bible is, nothing in it has ever been proven false. There are only the things that are proven true, and the things that haven't been proven, yet.

Bible is much stronger than science.

Cool

Next time you are sick, don't take any medication or look to a Doctor to help you.

Stay home and pray to your god for your health to improve.

Good luck with that one.

Science is much stronger than a fairytale.

Science absolutely IS much stronger than fairy tales. The reason is that God created science, but man creates fairy tales.

I got you beat on this. I seldom get sick because God is protecting me. After all, why go through the process of getting sick and then praying to God? Silly thinking. Rather, stay in prayer with God all the time, and don't get sick.

Cool

EDIT: I gotta apologize a little. I'm often slow at being the thankful Christian I should be. As they say, laughter can be the best medicine. So, I need to thank you for your posts. The laughter I get from them is actually helping to keep me well.    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

This one is as a child
He is obviously involved with some kind of bastardized religion.
Is he a child ? or does he just spend alot of time with them?
Hmmm

The child idea isn't always so bad. Sure, St. Paul said we should stop being children and grow up in faith. But Jesus said at Matthew 11:25,26:
Quote
At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure."

Jesus also said at Matthew 18:3:
Quote
And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

So, the little child thing can be good at times. The question is, are we being child-like? Or only childish?

Just a thought.

Cool
And it has studied what the bible has to say about children perhaps in order to find justification for his actions.
Hmmm.

But if you don't have Jesus salvation, any justification you might think you have, isn't strong enough to justify you.

Cool

Almost everything in the Bible has been proven false.

- Earth and universe were not created in 6 days
- Earth is not 6000 years old
- Earth is a sphere, not a flat plane supported on pillars
- Space is not filled with waters above the dome
- human death is not a reversible process
- humans were not created from dirt, we are animals that evolved from apes
- women were not created from a rib bone
- human population is not a result of one big incest, genetically impossible on the 6000 year old Bible timeline

Oh, and the most important one: There is no physical evidence of God.  No sane person ever saw or heard God.

None of the things that you have said has been proven by you. Nor do you understand the proofs that others have suggested that they have for any of the things you have said. Because of this, science is a religion for you, even if it is not a religion for many who have relied on the proofs of science, with understanding that science barely shows anything at all, and that God is way beyond and above science.

The machine, nature, is the proof that God exists... proof that even the least intelligent of people can see around them. Isn't it about time that you increased your intelligence to that of the least intelligent?

Sorry not knowing this kind of stuff, its just i wanted to know who's the strong one of them because some of my friend told me that the government is strong because they can decide to impeach the president and also i thought that president is more stronger than the government for that the president is more likely  has a bigger rank of his country.. so i need your opinion on this one and teach me Cheesy

Your question could possibly be more vague  Smiley

In coutries such as Russia or Turkey, president is effectively head of the government aswell, in other euro countries (s)he is merely a figurehead for ceremonial occasions. United States and France fall somewhere inbetween those two extremes.

To be sure, you would have to actually read constituion of said country, as constitution clearly specifies who holds what powers in executive branch.
I disagree with you. The reading of the Constitution will do nothing. In Russia or Ukraine, for example, Parliament is an independent branch of government, but in fact it is not. Especially in Russia. It is a dictatorial country disguised as a democracy.

I wonder how do you define "dictatorial" country, that label is awfully popular today.
If you mean that either Ukraine or Russia is ruled by one dictator without limits, then that is blatantly false.

Russia has quite peculiar power elites, that struggle against each other in the Moscow and Petrograd. Not unlike power elites do the same in Washington. In both countries, president has to expend quite alot of energy on mediating interests of different cliques.

Ukraine is even more complicated as politicians blend with oligarchs and western agents, who keep pumping free money in the country.

Atleast in the first case however, rule of law is formally followed, when power balance requires it, the law is changed. So, take your time and read it  Wink
LOL. Is Russia ruled by law? What wars elite? What are you talking about? Without the approval of Putin's Russia, nothing is done. All the opposition was killed. What is this if not a dictatorship?

How old are you? You know, Russia was around before you were born. It was around before Putin was born also. Heresy, I know, since Putin is Russia and Russia is Putin according to your favourite television news network.

Modern russian politics is not that different from early Roman empire, or before that Macedon - that is if can take post-communist era as a precedent. Ruler appoints successor, which then has to gain popular approval. Laws are made, amended or eliminated to reflect shifting power balance between different groups in Kremlin.

I dont think you are going to understand, since your perception of politics started and ended with work of Tolkien.
To compare the age of the country with the person's age is not correct. Russia is a country with an authoritarian ruler. Putin does not allow democratic elections to take place. The Russians don't want to change anything. Their ability to resist was suppressed in the days of Stalin.

But. Consider that the rulers of Russia are people. They need air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, etc.  This means that they follow many of the natural laws of people in the things that they do. It also means that they have to have a following to get things done... because they are not strong enough alone to do much more than any other people.

The point is the following. Their military is part of their following. Why does each individual soldier remain a soldier to do what Russian leaders say? Simply because of fear that they will be executed by their fellow soldiers at the command of the leader(s).

In other words, most all military people suffer from Stockholm Syndrome, just like the Muslims regarding Islam. If the Russian leaders are shrewd enough, they can gradually drag more and more of their people into this syndrome through the military. It's like that all over.

@notbatman... FE people should start a comic strip based on Batman. They could call it, "Flatman and Ribbon."

Flatman

"Flatman's real name is actually Matt. After dropping out of community college, he worked as a barista when he was approached by a party organizer named Andrew. ..."

Ribbon & Rage

"Ribbon is a young elven girl almost always seen with her floating salamander, Rage . They've appeared in a number of comics and are primarily known for their ability to tap into a bottomless reservoir of rage amongst /tg/'s denizens, and their only redeeming value is that many on /tg/ finds them either hilariously ironic, cute, or some combination of the above. ..."

My point exactly. FE people are simply jokers who are trying to convince a bunch of naive people to join their cult.

I dont believe in god, I believe in God. he is my creator, the reason i'm alive, infact without him I'm nothing.
And now you're with it all? Tell me what makes you better than someone who doesn't believe in God? For example, I. I have as many arms and legs. I do not accept injustice and cruelty. What's the difference?

So offended, as you show by thinking someone is saying better. It ain't better. It is simply supremely blessed. Here is what I mean.

The only God that offers salvation to eternal life based on a reasonable argument is the God of the Bible. All the rest are gods.

I have forgiven and fallen in love with all people, I'm going to preach about God to all people, do good and live according to God's will, and now, after all this, when I pray God helps me, so that's why we must believe in God, and He will certainly help (if Your heart is pure).

Good! However, if you really want to be among the strongest believers in God, love the Muslim right while he is killing you for not becoming a Muslim... even if dying hurts.

24975  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: March 12, 2017, 05:13:53 PM
People hate Islam because they see that the Muslims hate Islam more than anyone. Who but a Muslim would think that he likes Islam when, at any given moment, his Islamic friends, relatives and neighbors, might turn on him, state that he is an apostate, and kill him on the spot... because Islam says they can and should do this at times.

Muslims live in a state of Stockholm Syndrome, captive to their religion. That's why they often don't even recognize that they hate Islam.

24976  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: March 12, 2017, 05:09:54 PM
I believe in religion because i need a guide in life. And i believe everything was created by an actor, and that actor is god, and god create religion to help ppl find them in eternal life

It's very simple but great answer.
People really need moral compass in life, guidance or purpose.
Without it, we are empty inside, and live chaotic life without direction and purpose.
We don't have only physical body but also spiritual body.
Our physical body need food, water, sleeping, shelter etc.
Our spiritual body needs love.
Eternal, absolute love we can receive only from our creator, God.

Yes ^^^!

All people are religious because nobody knows anything about his future for a certainty. All people look for something or someone to guide them into the future.

The people who claim they don't, are only hiding their religious aspirations from their outer mind, or they are lying.

The Earth is Flat and Motionless.

Then why do the bottom of the buildings appear to be lower than the horizon? Because of curvature that's why.

Nope. If that would be the case you should also see the curve on x axis, and you clearly do not.

Refraction and magnification - there is no curvature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-Q-FuXJSTQ

Having pictures of an area where the horizon appears flat doesn't prove that the Earth is flat any more than standing under a shelter proves that it's not raining.  It's just an area of land which appears flat because, believe it or not, the Earth is pretty damn big and you can only see for a few miles at most.

If you want to believe that the Earth is flat, go and send up a camera tens of miles into space to check for specifically you as thousands of people have done before, but don't just claim that the Earth is flat when it's 100 metres up and can't see the whole Earth yet.

All of our best and most relevant scientific knowledge suggests that the Earth is closer to a sphere than any other shape (or an ovoid).
