be careful in participating in any airdrop that ask you to install an executable file on your computer or any airdrop that ask you to import you private key if you do all your coin might be stolen. always do a little bit research on airdrop before joining any of them. keep off from airdrop with no working website, no roadmap and management team (faceless airdrop) above all be careful joining airdrop posted by users with negative trust and those user with low activities (Newbie).

I think you should be worried just like many of us who think something tragic might happen to bitcoin soon with the way the coin is pumping up. however i will like to consider dividing your coin and do some research on some coin you can buy. if i were you i will consider buying ETH and LTC. these are two stronger coin after btc and with the way ETH has gone this year, it has good prospect to grow further next year so if at all anything happen to bitcoin you have less to worry about

I think i like your approach. you already set target for your self. i hope you go by this target. Waves and Eth are really good and with the way eth have gone so far this year i think the coin should reach $2000 by next year and waves probably close to $100 however i have a little beat reservation for BNTand CVC i am not too familiar with these two altcoin. i will advise you to consider buying LTC and NEO the two coin have good prospect than BNT and CVC

there is actually one answer to your question, it means altcoin are being dump by users and probably buying bitcoin. this happened few weeks ago. in fact it was worse because almost all altcoin price was down. these will be for short period as you can see that bitcoin is falling again. this might probably be in the way of altcoin. when bitcoin fall people step back and start buying altcoin again. i think thisis the right time to start buying some altcoin before the price goes up again

Bitcoin are not allowed in some country because they considered it as a threat to their economy. they fear that continous rise in the use of economy have negative implication on their banks and other financial institution. since the coin is completely decentralized. government can not tax any users. also there is fear that banks might lose investors as many of them might result in investing and trading the coin which will not favour the country however i believe these country have not evaluate the benefit rather than focusing on the disadvantages.

Ethereum is really struggling in the year 2017 but despite the fact of crypto market volatility, ETH manage to cross $400 mark and even go as far as $470 until recent fall in price. going by this i think ETH will reach at least $1000 by 2018. this is just a speculation based on the previous success of the coin however the price might be higher than this or even below $1000 because there has been serious competition between altcoin and bitcoin.

it is traders work to make alot of research about a particular exchange website before entrusted them with his/her coin. exchange platform are on increase as market for crypto continue to grow. however despite the fact that there are still some good exchange platform. some new exchange site are really scamy. i have read so many news on telegram on how buy order of some customer are inflated with consent of the customer. imagine i place a buy order to buy 500 token and after making transaction you discover that you bought 1000 tokens.

Few days ago most altcoin and bitcoin experience a shock fall for few days but recently BCH have increase about 12.76% increase in its initial value. if this this continue bit up to 3-4 time fall in values less than 12.76% of current price then BCH might reach $3000 in 3 weeks time. however this is mere speculation which means the value might be higher or lower than this but above all BCH price will be above $3000 before the third quarter of next year.

your choice of investment term depend on many factors. some of this factors include reliability of the coin you are investing on. government policy, personal budget for upkeep, income and so on. all this factors need to be consider before planning to invest in any coin. especially now when media influence have wake up some countries which have make them consider regulating the coin. above all long term investment might provide great profit but it involve taking high risk.

there are many factors that affect the rise and fall of bitcoin. most of these factors are influence by human being. The news media contribute alot to the rise and fall of bitcoin. most of us read news about bitcoin on the internet daily and we act on what we read. when bitcoin news is reported negatively it might cause fall on price of bitcoin while positive new might cause the price to increase. influence from highly connected investors and ICO developers can also cause rise or fall in price of bitcoin through positive.

this is a very good discussion and i will like to see different person opinion on this subject of matter. however, i think it is better for everyone to know that bitcoin is an asset. just like cars, houses and money. so how do you intend to plan how you want your asset to be when you die?. just the way you write will then your money in your btc wallet should be included in your will as well. your will may consist your private key which must be known by only you and your lawyer. just my own view.
