1921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 29, 2018, 06:01:03 AM
sorry for your lost. It is very clear that you are part of the newbie that join crypto investment  during the massive pump last year. the point is that majority of you do not study how crypto works and you do not take note about some expert review during the process. I know you would have thought the price will continue to rise like that. this is not the first time bitcoin will be witnessing such massive dump and my only advise is that you should keep your coin because better days are ahead.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Token wallets with coinminer virus on: August 27, 2018, 05:36:18 PM
A few weeks ago i discovered that my laptop battery that can last for 3 hours when it is not plugged to an external source can not use up to an hour before it shut down. I first I thought my battery is bad but i was so curious to know how my system can start behaving like that after i recently installed a token wallet. I restarted my laptop and I discovered the CPU usage is very high and the laptop was always very hot. I opened start  task manager and i checked on application running underground and I discovered there was one coinminer.exe with very high cpu usage. I was forced to install malwarebyte on my laptop and when I scanned the laptop. I was surprise to see more than 45 threats with extentions related to cryptocurrencies. the point is that many of our activities relating to crypto inflict our laptop with virus. unless you have very strong malware software you may not know this.
1923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thread : HOW TO PROTECT YOURS BITCOIN & ALTCOINS ! on: August 27, 2018, 05:18:49 PM
I still believe non of the medium through which you can store your crypto is 100% safe. in as much as you will need to transfer the crypto via internet, you are at risk of losing your coin. the only difference among all these wallet is the variation in risk level. hardware wallet for me is still the best although it is not 100% safe as well so far you need to connect the wallet to computer at one point if you need to send crypto. from experience I discovered that out of 10 of my friend trading crypto, 9 of them is having a virus call coinminer on their computer. you may never know this until you run malwarebyte on your system.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: August 25, 2018, 07:20:16 PM
when i was very new in trading crypto, I use to join so many prediction pages on telegram and many of them have large number of subscribers. they will always give a date to pump a targeted crypto mostly on bittrex. at first I thought I have found what I am looking for so I do follow them but later I discover these groups are using traders as a bait. they must have invested huge amount of money before calling out a particular token. these groups are so coordinated that ones a group share a coin other too share the same coin in order to get large numbers of traders as bait.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A large part of the bounty Scam on: August 24, 2018, 07:42:27 PM
well that is still ok than investing and losing money. the fact still remain that bounty might continue to witness high scam rate due to current drastic fall in price of altcoin which make it difficult for many ICO to be able to make the hardcap and thereby trying to look for excuses not to pay bounty hunters. I think a time is coming that many hunters will not have options than to follow and participate in some bounty campaign that is being managed by some trusted managers
1926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to use bitcoin to pay some entity that requires bank transfer? on: August 24, 2018, 06:46:09 AM
I can see some talking about paying through third party that accept bitcoin and pay to the bank account you provide both non have suggested any of this pay4me providers. the truth is that paying through third party is very risky and stand the chance of losing your money. when you search the internet you will discover many website offering this services but many of them have bad reputations of stolen money from their customers. sometime too bank may reject your money when there is difference in name.
1927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 24, 2018, 06:37:21 AM
i do not think world can anyway be ready for cryptocurrency because the government is against it. they hate something they do not have control over them and talking about cryptocurrency replacing fiat. It is just a dream which is far from coming to reality. millions of people still yet to even know what crypto is all about. not to talk about others that do know but they do not want anything related to it. the truth is only 0.01% of people is ready for cryptocurrency
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY 99% OF ICO IS SCAM? on: August 23, 2018, 09:19:35 AM
Hi, lads!

There are many ICOs ongoing at present but in 2018 a lot of them is a SCAM. Why does this happen?

I have revealed several issues in the article: https://telegra.ph/WHY-99-of-ICO-is-BULLSHIT-08-21

If there are any other points, It will be interesting to hear your opinions. This is really appreciated.

Thanks, friends!

Your article is more than an advertisement for me because you'll inviting people to join you thus it isn't informative for people. Indeed a click bait from its title. May I know what's the success percentage if we join your telegram group?

And why the bounty hunters included on your list? Yeah maybe it's a contributing factor for a token to gets dump after it gets listed but if the project is really solid this won't affect to much in the price and will recover easily.
the op bundled alot of things together and the subject is clearly not narrative. however, bounty hunter play huge role in getting token dump but my major concern is not about this but the ICO itself because it is not new again that ico that engage in bounty camapign will get their token dump when listed by hunters so if they know about this what exactly are they doing to balance this shortcoming. the truth is that many of them do not bring transparency and fairness which they preach into the real sense of their project
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY 99% OF ICO IS SCAM? on: August 23, 2018, 09:08:29 AM
The word 'SCAM' is being misused alot this day. just because an ICO do not reach softcap and couldnt continue with a project do not mean such project is scam until they refuse to pay back the money recieved from early investors. Also many bounty hunters result in calling a project a scam just because their token is being delayed. this might be as a result of missunderstanding between bounty manager and hunters and also previous experience indicate thing like this happen when there are issue of cheat in spreadsheet. some hunters and bounty manager are guity of this.
1930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: August 22, 2018, 06:00:49 AM
I see no reason or a fact where bitcoin can be compared to ethereum. Though is also good. But we have to look at the usage and even dominance of bitcoin in the market. Bitcoin dominance is about 40% or even more and this proves the exact acceptance of bitcoin compared to ethereum.
bitcoin is dominance because it is the oldest coin and it has been relevant. remeber the dogecoin is also one of the earliest coin but it amount to nothing now. bitcoin can only be used to make payment but some dev have seen potentials that crypto can offer and it was as a result of this comparison that bring about altcoin and ethereum offer more functions than bitcoin even though bitcoin is still dominance in term of usage
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: August 22, 2018, 05:54:37 AM
there is no way you will talk about cryptocurrencies without comparing them. even the existance of some new coin is as a result of comparism in term of the functions they perform which led to creation of a new coin. even on trading platform cryptocurrencies are been compared and this comparison is what bring about what is being traded against what. I do not believe in your claim. there is no way people will not compare likes even in traditional stock markets, stock are being compared
1932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Tactic For The Upcoming Btc Crash on: August 22, 2018, 05:48:15 AM
I think it is the right time to start buying some coin with great potential especially for some of investors who already withdraw alot of fiat during the 2017 big pump and to some of us that we are witnessing this for the first time we have learn our lesson. we shall not put all our egg in one basket again. BCC, ETH, ETC, XRP, NEO, are some of strongest coin you can by cheap now and hope for pump in the coming days
1933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you one of those who think that BITCOIN will not rise this year? on: August 21, 2018, 08:35:02 PM
well it will definitely rise but what you should have ask is will it reach it peak ever again because this is what i think you mean by rise. for bitcoin to reach it peak again then there will be massive investment by key players and also general acceptance by individual and large company that drive people more to use bitcoin and above all if china finaly lift the ban on bitcoin then we may see another major pump and if this happen i will correct my mistake Grin
1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: August 21, 2018, 08:11:07 PM
I think this is a rumor which has been flying around for awhile now. https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/07/23/samsung-coppay-cryptocurrency-baltics/. since this is hoax it will be very good if such thing can happen and better than some terrible news that drag down the price of crypto. if things work out wellwe should have something like this in the nearest future but some online store such as newegg is accepting bitcoin and you can buy samsung from.

1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Of The ICO Telegram Group Has Fake Inactive Members on: August 17, 2018, 06:04:10 PM
I cant believe telegram allow this despite the fact that they take banning very personal. I have always watch closely some of the group I found my self in without myself joining the page. if this is allowed then it should be a kind bug that telegram show consider solving because it is really bad. you can Imagine an ICO using fake numbers of people in telegram to deceive investors into investing in their project that is really not ok at all.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: August 17, 2018, 05:55:17 PM
reason is because the amount of people participating in campaign is getting much. when you compare to last year you will realize that alot of people are now trooping in into bounty which means the amount gotten haver the bounty end will reduce. however market is also one of the factors that make people to receive small amount now because almost 99% of token are trading below the ICO price which means no matter how much you earn you end up earning little.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: August 17, 2018, 05:48:23 PM
well people hate bounty hunters that dump token because it has a negative implication on the project that is using the token. you may think the token allocated for bounty is small but the effect is more than that. when token become dump it send a negative signal to all token holders plus investors and those considering investing in the project. it is always difficult for token to recover after massive dump like that most especially now that the volatility is affecting all major market.
1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: August 17, 2018, 01:24:15 PM
if you are planning of holding bitcoin for a very long time then be prepared to get the hardware wallet because for me it is the safest it is very secure and you do not have to fear any form of hacking. another interesting thing about digital wallet is that it also allow some other altcoin and token to be store on it which means incase you have some other coin apart from bitcoin you are planning for holding for long time then you can rely on such wallet. ledgar Nano is one of them
1940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader or Gamblers. on: August 16, 2018, 08:21:23 PM
if you like call it trading if you like call it gambling but what is certain is the risk which is inevitable you lose and sometime you gain. there is nothing like expert trader. I believe in experience because like they say experience is the greatest teacher. sometime I wonder why am fighting so hard the market. at the end of the day the lost overweigh the gain most especially now when the market is highly unpredictable. pump today dump tomorrow.
