2501  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A fake trading website on: September 08, 2021, 09:58:58 PM
Why did you deposit such amount in a quick glance? you didn't do any research when he asked and the exchange seemed to be not even popular at all.

But sorry with that misfortune, you've got to learn the lesson. You've guessed it right, it's a scam.
Most of the scammers bank on the victim's level of greed. The more greedy the victim, the easier it is to convince them and get them sending money to the scam exchange in a glance without any prior research. All it takes is to tell them that they will earn Y % of what they have invested daily or weekly and double their money in a matter of weeks.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 08, 2021, 09:40:40 PM
I'm waiting for seeing how much good Barcelona will be playing this season after losing Griezmann and Messi. Depay will have a bigger responsibility to help the team achieve the league title. However, they might have a problem on making it to the championship if they don't have a good teamplay. From now on, they will not be depending on one player who was Messi. They will need to get accustomed to playing like this first.
Griezmann's impact is Barcelona was way lower than was expected when they signed him. I doubt if his services will be missed. Depay seems to be stepping and trying to fill the gap left by Messi's departure, but we all know who Messi was in Barcelona. Depay can only do his best.

Personally, I think Barcelona will cope up with time, especially if the management is good. Right now, their biggest problem is the financial side of things.
2503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: App to monitor ETH gas fees on: September 06, 2021, 09:46:49 PM
Have you ever used this app? I installed it but its not working. If anyone has used it, please share your experience here. Because I don't understand that it's not just working here or the same for everyone.
Yes, I have ever used it. The app is working perfectly and keeps sending notifications too with mo problems. I am not sure why it's not working on your side. Maybe compatibility issues.

2504  Economy / Gambling / Re: [CLOSED] ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 on: September 05, 2021, 10:22:14 PM
Let me know that you are looking for proposals to sale the site and the minimum bet is 10 bitcoin ? That's a big money for a gambiling site, isn't ?
i don't think 10 BTC is too big, especially for a reputable gambling platform all the way from 2014. Of course investing in such is risk but with risk comes reward if all things go well.

Initially, I thought he meant that the proposed minimum withdrawal is 10 BTC now that the deadline has passed. Cheesy
2505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin users should be careless about the price and trade bitcoin instead on: September 05, 2021, 09:56:57 PM
People care about the value because they trade it. Trading is also a way of making more sats in form of profits. You can't tell a day trader not to care about price, yet that's the only way he can get to earn more bitcoins apart from mining.

Bitcoin is meant for trading but since its value has increased a lot, many consider this as a long term investment
Trading and Long term "Investment"...isn't this the same?
I mean, even if you buy the bitcoins and HODL over a long period of time, you will eventually have to sell them off to realize some  profits. Buying and selling = Trading.
2506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for daytrading strategies for beginners/intermediates. on: September 05, 2021, 09:44:52 PM
You are going to have a lot of learning to do, mate. A couple of months is not enough for you to learn how markets work or move, even if you have a good trading strategy. My advice is for a beginning stick to a particular coin and study its price movements, support and resistance levels so that you know when to enter, exit and place stop loss.

You haven't specified which kind of trading you are doing. Is it spot or derivatives?

2-3% daily isn't realistic. You are going to lose some traders along the way, mate. Some days will be bad, others will be good. Just make sure you don't lose too much.
2507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is a side hustle, not a life or death situation on: September 05, 2021, 09:26:54 PM
Of course, it depends on how one earns from cryptocurrencies. Some people just buy crypto like any other asset, hold it long term and then sell it later. This kind of investment is less stressful, and you get enough time to do your other jobs

While for day trading, it is whole new different level. One has to keep up with market movements and news. You can not do another job well while day trading at the same time. It will completely mess you up.

Getting loans or investing what you can not afford to lose is one of the biggest rookie mistake ever. It will leave you restless and not psychologically Ok in the long run.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 05, 2021, 08:58:43 PM
That is insane if his contracts finishes next season then Real Madrid will only pay agent fees and every other bonuses will go into Mpabbe's pocket, this how free agent transfer works, the €80m is a ridiculous amount and I don't your source is genuine.
That's a significantly small amount compared to what Real Madrid was willing to pay PSG in the last hours of the Summer transfer window.
Despite the hard times due to COVID19. I think Real Madrid have been preparing to make some major signings and cover all other expenses for a while by not being very active in the market buying new players while at the same time selling or releasing most of the old players whose salaries have also been very insane.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 05, 2021, 08:43:10 PM
I can doubt that ability of Dani Olmo if only look at his performance in Leipzig and compare the general quality, competitiveness of Bundesliga and La Liga.

After I watched the performance of Olmo in Euro 2020, I don't have any doubt about his ability to succeed in La Liga. He had great matches in the Euro and he played very well with Spanish players in the national team. It shows Olmo's playing style is good if he plays in La Liga.
Maybe if you are referring to the Barcelona of 2 decades ago, not this current Barcelona. Yes he has the ability to succeed in La Liga but under which kind of team, coach and conditions is he going to be. Warming up the bench rarely helps a player, especially young talent to progress.

Look at most of the players Barcelona has tried to spend huge amounts of money on in the recent years. I would say it's only Depay who might have a good time as per his first few match performances.
2510  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet on: September 05, 2021, 07:54:48 PM
Xapo big SCAM, they stole about $250 of my money, I received an email to immediately withdraw but access was denied, even though I entered my username and PIN correctly, and when they asked to recover their account they said the account was blocked, hopefully they will realize and return the customer's money.
Web wallets are a very bad idea to store your assets in and Xapo is one of those wallets that are at the very end of being very bad alongside blockchain wallet and freewallet. Next time you think about safe guarding your funds. Try using noncustodial wallets like electrum, Jaxx, Exodus.

What is the reason they said for blocking your account. I know their customer service department is trash as it would take weeks for getting a response but they need to give you a reason for blocking the account. Even i had an issue a few years back and it took a few weeks to get them sorted. Their app was mess and you are not able to access the website and it was time to move on and i am surprised that anyone uses their wallet now a days.
Probably the flagged off due to a new login from a different device
2511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Letting Crpyto Exchanges Find A Camera On A Cell Phone To Verify Documents on: September 04, 2021, 09:57:24 PM
It would be much easier to find a solution if you could specify how you are accessing the crypto exchange. Via app (Android always has an option to enable permissions for the app to access camera or storage) or through the browser? If though the browser, which one in particular?

What's the name of the exchange you are trying to verify the documents?
2512  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: FixedFloat — fully automatic cryptocurrency exchange with Lightning Network⚡️ on: September 04, 2021, 09:50:07 PM
-snip-

Perhaps you might want to open up a scam accusation to gain more attention. But this is one thing you should know about instant exchangers, they may not ask for KYC but most of them use third party exchanges. Should your transaction appear suspicious. The third party exchanges will hold the funds and not actually fixed float. Always take a look at the terms and conditions of a service before making a transaction.

I was looking at this self moderated thread and then noticed something rather peculiar. It's showing that 9 posts were deleted, but there's no indicated number of users whose posts were deleted in the thread.

What could be the cause of this?
Bug?
2514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: September 04, 2021, 08:59:22 PM
What if someone comes in with a gun pointed to your head?
It's why the guide is pinned there in the first place. Read through it again carefully. It emphasizes traders to meet up in public places where there are so many people to avoid scenarios where one can be robbed on gun point or mugged minus any witnesses.

Personally, I have heard some cases where people were robbed off their bitcoins under gun point because they chose to meet trading partners in secluded places.
2515  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM EXCHANGE] CHANGENOW.IO trying to steal my 3 BTC on: September 04, 2021, 08:50:59 PM

By this statement, you do actually confirm that you illegally held someone's Bitcoins. I don't matter if OP is able to prove to be the actual owner of the addresses or not. The mere fact that you did such a despicable act shows why people should never trust changenow.

"A secure and trustworthy service" my ass

2517  Economy / Reputation / Re: [indralit] promoting Betking on: September 03, 2021, 09:48:53 PM
I thought the Betking signature campaign failed miserably and was ended some weeks ago, or am I missing something?
What could be motivating indralit to wake up and start advertising scam on his signature? Hacked/bought account by betking management?

Anyway, the account cannot be trusted, and  they deserve a tag for promoting scam.

Check it out  Wink
2519  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't withdraw money from LocalCryptos on: September 03, 2021, 08:33:02 PM
I don't think this is the cause of the problem because he gets the white screen even before clicking on the Trasfer button.

You could be right.

Probably his browser or internet connective has a problem. I just made another transfer of Litecoin today to Binance with no single Hiccup

2520  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't withdraw money from LocalCryptos on: September 02, 2021, 09:58:22 PM
The problem could be related to the small amount of ETH you are trying to send to Binance, maybe the ETH is not even enough to fund the transaction fees. Right now transaction fee i worth 0.001827 ETH ($6.99558)

Otherwise, I used the exchange today and I didn't face any problem.
