1561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question for Legendary Members on: July 10, 2022, 09:58:28 PM
I first heard about Bitcoin somewhere in 2014 or 2015, but didn't bother to get to know more about it until around late 2016. That's when I created a blockchain wallet, set up a coinbase and also signed up for Freebitco.in

I mostly engaged in telegram groups and there were lots of confusing airdrops and ICOs

I then registered in the forum in the late 2017
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptos are ISO20022 compliant? on: July 10, 2022, 09:30:27 PM
Possibly people are still looking for some ground for security, since scam is rampant in a decentralized environment, they are into seeking a more secure environment to invest their money.  It looks like only a few are ISO20022 compliant.
Unfortunately for them, some so-called compliant projects that they think are secure are actually not, and some have show fraudulent tendencies. Ripple is one of them. The other is IOTA. There's a thread about IOTA's fraud in one of the boards in this forum. I just can't seem to locate it right now.

To invest in one of the coins above, I would rather invest in Doge or even a joke token like SHIB
1563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you advise a focus on indicators or the market itself for a newbie. on: July 10, 2022, 08:42:55 PM
But indicators are a result of historical data or market movements. Maybe one thing I can suggest to newbies is to just invest (Buy an asset like Bitcoin on spot market and hold long term) if they don't like the headache that comes with technical analysis.

But if one is going to do day trading, there is no way one can trade minus looking at the indicators and price action.

1564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why exchangers derivates and futures dont have other then USDT ? on: July 10, 2022, 06:20:24 PM
So BUSD Futures also ?
Sure,

Click on USDs-M or USDs-Margined contracts. You will be able to see BUSD perpetual contracts, but they are much fewer than those of USDT.

1565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many people become binance futures full time traders as job on: July 10, 2022, 06:04:08 PM
Now many people becomes binance full tome time fututrs trader as full time.
Its a good full time job reasons:
All ur earnings on binance debit card instant.
U dont need to go anywhere u cam even do job with smart phone.
I think kids should also learn that in school instead of useless things but good job how to make decent incone without going anywhere or over work.
Who tells you that in futures trading, everyone makes profits?
If am not mistaken, over 90% of the traders lose money. How is that a full time job?

Quote
Also binance is center of crypto without binance i have no idea how to deal with crypto they can close down all other exchangers but if binance stays then crypto stays.
Crypto was thriving before Binance, and it will probably still thrive after Binance

Maby people now choose to become binance futures trader as full time income.
Easier said than done.
1566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why exchangers derivates and futures dont have other then USDT ? on: July 10, 2022, 05:55:49 PM
It's quite self-explanatory. USDT perpetual contracts are much more popular and have more trading volumes than alternatives like USDC. But if you look carefully, you can also see BUSD perpetuals. Inverse perpetual contracts are also available, but it seems like not so many people like them except when there's a bull run.
1567  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Heliosfund.io - Scam fintech and mining venture with 300% APR on: July 09, 2022, 08:22:14 PM
i'm sorry for you but being the thread public everybody can evaluate the legitimacy of our proposition. In fact, every doubt you had has been well explained, no problems at all from our side.
Lamentations do not work here. You either prove that your business is legitimate or you go home!

I had to make several complaints to the Agency which referred me to Chargebacknow(at) Aol . com they took up my case and help retrieve my funds
We are not the kind of people you are going to lie to and scam using your scam recovery "agency"
You are wasting your time here.
1568  Other / Politics & Society / Why do former colonialists continue to keep looted artifacts in their museums? on: July 09, 2022, 07:51:05 PM
Once in a while, I keep coming across articles or documentaries about the historical artifacts that were looted by colonialists from their colonies and are now kept hostage in European museums despite pleas to have them returned to the countries of Origin.

Why is it so hard for the former colonialists to do the right thing and return what was looted to the rightful owners?
What is the point of claiming that the former colonies are now "independent" yet part of their past histories and cultures are locked up in museums in Europe?

1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptos are ISO20022 compliant? on: July 09, 2022, 07:13:56 PM
What do you guys think, is this an important FA to consider with crypto projects?
It's not important, especially to true decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

What's the point of decentralization then if ISO20022 compliance is all people look for in a good cryptocurrency.

Also - which projects are ISO20022 compliant, I only know of a couple.

Thanks. TG

1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merit For Signature Campaign !!! on: July 09, 2022, 06:57:01 PM
The signature campaign is one of the interesting campaigns in a bounty campaign that not only gives additional knowledge about crypto but also gives more rewards to a campaign. but only certain levels can follow it. How can we go to class??
It seems to me that you have misplace priorities. If you are here only for the sake of joining signature campaigns/bounties or gaining merits, then you are in the wrong place.

Focus on knowledge and helping out other members. SIG campaigns just come in as a bonus.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 08, 2022, 09:47:55 PM
Ousmane Dembele is close to sign an agreement with Barcelona, Barça literally going to have Fati, Ferran, Dembele and Raphinha as wing options with Lewandowski, Auba and Depay as strikers, wow that's gonna be a pretty good attacking squad, but I doubt if Rafinha will be joining if eventually Dembele sign a new contract, but Xavi needs to do something about the defence, if the attack is good and the defence is nothing to write home about, it does not worth it
Their attack was never so badly off. The problem is defense. Think about so many of such forwards makes me think a majority of them are going to get wasted on the bench.

I also wonder why Barcelona keeps stacking such many forwards with probably higher wages than average ones but continue to complain about financial difficulties on the other side.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 08, 2022, 09:39:45 PM
Barcelona has agreed to sell this player but de Jong wants to stay in Barcelona. And Barcelona told him that if he wants to stay he will have to take a pay cut but he also does not want to take a pay cut.

So, this is a weird situation, to be honest.

The player is going to be  Better Off playing in a new team. But Barcelona is not going to be as strong as they are right now without de Jong.

Manchester United also does not absolutely need this player right now because they can play other players in that position, like Christian Eriksen. I really believe that if the player really does not want to take a pay cut he should not be forced, but then other players will also not want to take any kind of pay cut as well.

Regards

Duke
It seems to me that De Jong decided to choose money over playtime. To be honest, he isn't going to get that match playing time at Barcelona. Going to a new club would give him some hope.

Maybe he is looking forward to staying to Barcelona until his contract expires whilst getting full pay as per his current contract.
1573  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fraud company localbitcoins.com (Scammer Vladislav Alimpiev) on: July 08, 2022, 11:00:33 AM
But we must have to use custodial service for example if we want to use gambling site then we have to use custodial service. If we want to trade then we have to use custodial service. If we want to buy/sell except p2p then we have to use custodial service. That means we have almost no way to avoid custodial service. But we have to use reliable custodial service.
Of course custodial services are all over, but when there are noncustodial alternatives, then why not use them?

For example, since Localbitcoins decided to introduce mandatory KYC verification, I have never used it. I instead use localcryptos which is much better.
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shorting lunc (former original luna) and losing 99% assets on: July 07, 2022, 07:37:30 PM
A good article, cause I was one of those who thought it's that easy.
it's never easy. I shorted Luna and made some insane profits in it, but there was one more time I shorted and would have had my position get liquidated if my stop loss was not on. Imagine, it was 3x leverage  Grin.

From the article:

Uprise’s trading desk Heybit uses an artificial intelligence (AI) trading system that was designed to reduce the risks associated with leveraged trading.
It's funny that a bot that was designed to reduce the risks instead got the customers REKT
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRONLINK_WALLET Account is freezed on: July 07, 2022, 10:57:36 AM
But it's as if I see your USDT tokens are staked. Once you stake, it means the tokens stay frozen if you want to earn stake mining rewards. So you first have to unstake them in order to be able to withdraw. Please confirm if the tokens are staked or not
1576  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bibox exchange acount has been locked on: July 07, 2022, 10:49:09 AM
You posted in the wrong section... Move the thread to Exchanges or you can move it to scam accusation board after creating a proper scam accusation with all the proofs.

Never used the exchange before, but it looks like their support is a big mess.
1577  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty manager JerZei : starts a new bounty campaign about the scam Partyland on: July 05, 2022, 08:48:52 PM
Scam promoter should be flagged too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2999

That should be enough to warn any sensible newbies in the bounty section about the user.
Great job and Keep track of the scammer, I know he won't give up anytime soon.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 03, 2022, 09:58:18 PM
I think that the Serie A would be like a last resort for Ronaldo now. Because I think like he wouldn't even leave Juventus in the first place if he was so eager to continue playing there. Maybe his problems were only related to the team not the league but I still don't expect him to sign for Napoli or any other Italian team for now. But his decision could be much different if gets an offer from a team in the La Liga or the Premier League on the condition that the team are going to the CL.
Who can afford him and his wages is also a very big factor if he is to move away from Manchester United, and there are a very few teams that will be willing to go that far for a 36-year-old.
But I believe Bayern Munich could be a good destination for him as replacement for Lewandowski should the latter decide to leave FC Bayern.
1579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address re-usage can lead to theft of private keys on: July 03, 2022, 09:39:09 PM
1. It is quite harmful to one's privacy
This is the only reason I know why address Reuse is not a good idea

2. It can leave one open to niche attacks and one becomes vulnerable to these cyber thieves who will extract private keys from signatures after a transaction has been made.
Can you tell us how this is done?

3. Quantum computers could extract private keys if these addresses are re used.
Citing an instance of the Ronin network incidence in March, where $540m worth of cryptocurrency was carted away by thieves hopefully by finding a collision of randomly picked message digest of 2¹³⁰+1 input of hashes causing possible collides by examining the square root of the number of possible output. Making re-use of Bitcoin addresses risky considering the chances of possible collisions even though the entire process might be time consuming hackers might choose to patiently wait till a collision is found just like the case of Ronin network..
Or maybe Ronin network just messed up and gave away their private keys to the hackers otherwise if this was possible, Don't you think so many addresses holding large amounts of Bitcoin would have been hacked by now?
1580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Firm Voyager Temporarily Suspends Withdrawals, Deposits, and Trading !!! on: July 03, 2022, 08:41:45 PM
People are adviced to always avoid keeping their cryptocurrency in 3rd party centralized platforms but very many play deaf thinking that they will get some earnings through lending, staking, yield farming etc.

The true reality is one will be risking a lot of money to just get those peanuts in APYs.
