The only reason these kind of things don't happen to you is I have better things to spend my time on than following you around looking through your toilet bowl for peanuts that "break the rules".
LOL. No you don't. If a mod doesn't delete the post you reported, you open a thread about it. When mods delete posts of yours, you open a thread about it. When the starter of a self-moderated thread deletes your post, you open a thread about it. You quite obviously have nothing better to do, and you never stop obsessing over the most trivial of matters. Yes, because that is the result of selective enforcement, and the whole point of exploiting it. It is indistinguishable from the usual arbitrary and selective enforcement of the rules and facilitating the abuse of the reporting systems as a tool for censorship. So then I'll ask you again - why have you wasted a decade of your life here? It's because you are a troll.

I haven't heard much discussion about this technology on this forum. I don't understand why.
Ethereum is old technology even though they are working on V2.
Is it because large companies like IBM and LINUX are against crypto philosophies?

+ There is no negative side to it: it would not really cost the forum anything to do it but the impact no matter how little can just help enlighten few.
I wouldn't like to forum to start displaying a few dozen warning about various happenings. This is a bitcoin forum with a broken trust/promotion system. Get your news from a more reliable source.

Like I have said several times before, the moderators really need some kind of feedback mechanism to highlight excessive reports coming from or targeting a single user.
You are a troll, which means you are asking for a VIP card anytime you post garbage and people report. Much easier to hide the author name when a post is reported. That would eliminate your imaginary conspiracy.

Techy obviously regards his rights as more important than everyone else.
Why isn't this troll given a temp ban for repeatedly posting NSFW images after they are deleted?
The above image is nothing in front of the NSFW things the accounts in the image do here most of the time. It is very much realistic too. Have whatever imagination you want. We don't need lo visualize it...

You don't know what you are talking about in spite of it being right here, but you are perfectly willing to have an opinion.
They copy you, and you attack them? Give it up Techy.

I would guess the moderators are reaching for violations years back, because real time violations are decreasing.
Per mprep above, someone reported the 5 year old posts (recently) We don't even know what information is presented to a moderator before they act on a request. Maybe they don't know the post date.

since the beginning of "PANDEMIC" this happened, we could not worship (I am a devout Protestant Christian) I want to propose to our church officials about making online worship on YouTube..
I'm tired of looking for references on YouTube and Google about which is the best between DSLR and MIRRORLESS, please give me advice based on your experience (if you've ever done live streaming on YouTube) what camera is suitable for live streaming above 1 hour, heat resistance and the price at under $ 400!!
Watch it, you don't want to go to hell! Our reference means nothing, other than you will suffer eternally if you follow it. Ignore what everyone posts. Trust only what you dream of when you are at your weakest moment.

Today I found over 60 posts in my inbox that were all messages saying I had posts deleted. It appears that the moderator was incorrectly applying the rule “double posting” isn’t allowed. The majority (if not all) the posts in question were from 2015, which is before the rule was implemented and I believe the forum generally has a policy against ex-post-facto laws/rules/regulations. Theymos has also said that occasionally posting successive posts when the posts are substantial and the person is not participating in a paid sig campaign is allowed. I am not currently participating in a paid sig deal and don’t believe I was when most of the posts in question were posted. Some of the posts were made in threads such as this one, in which the person who I was responding to had deleted their posts and as such the posts the posts did not violate the rule in question, even if applied retroactively as the rule is posting multiple posts in a row are not allowed, and multiple posts were not posted in a row. This is clear because the posts were quoting other posts that were removed. It appears that someone was implementing a script that uses flawed logic. Even without access to all deleted posts, you could easily see the posts were not posted in violation of the rule. Also, most of the threads in question are very old and are not active (they are 5 years old). I really don’t see a good reason to be going back this far to remove posts you believe violate this rule (using flawed logic). I would guess the moderators are reaching for violations years back, because real time violations are decreasing.

That is a cutesy way of avoiding admitting your goal was only censorship from the beginning.
Ever thought some people read the forum at work? You are such a selfish asshole, Techy.
|
|
|
This is not the point at all.
There should be no " please do the right thing" or please dont create fake red tags for your own personal reasons. There should be no option to do the wrong thing.
It is a valid point. Techy has been complaining about trust abuse for a decade while being a founder of it. He believes his feedback is correct and ours is wrong. Changing rules will do nothing against those who think they are above them.
|
|
|
This is exactly what is happening with the trust system. It has gone from useful, to not very useful, to counterproductive via over use of negative ratings, dilution of their effectiveness in achieving their goal, to becoming a liability to the user base by allowing them to be used to hide and perpetrate fraud.
If you're not willing to look at your sent trust as abusive, why would you expect anyone else to do the same? Everyone believes they are correct in their abusive ratings - including you. Instead of complaining, try doing something.
|
|
|
And if proven scammers are actually threatening to red tag people, their threats aren't worth anything because they aren't even on DefaultTrust.
Maybe three years ago, but not today. I'm hoping Theymos introduced the flag system to eventually replace the tag system.

Defi flash loan is a hot topic right now , but its hard to execute specially for those who doesn't know much about smart contracts .so the idea is making a platform that allows users to execute a customized flash loan . if there is already a platform please reply with link. otherwise leave your reviews. if you are interested to join me making the project leave contact informations.
Would you give your card to some drunk in a bar? I'm not saying you are a drunk as much as I'm saying you spent 30 seconds talking about a random topic before you passed out. More information, including at least a simple plan and budget, will make people interested.

Yes, in the end maybe you receive something valuable.
I doubt it. Who would list a token of any value there? All you'll be doing is processing zero value token changes, using up resources better used elsewhere. Edited: I joined your Telegram group.

You are an old man Vod, not a teenager.
40s are the new 20s. I'm sure you did things you regret the first time you drank, Techy.

Bigger, more, latest is always better.
If that wasn't true, then who is buying all these new cars, phones, bigger houses and boats? If we were all spending for the stuff only that we needed (like you) then the capitalism wouldn't exist. (Is this what you want vod?)
Greed is good. Long live capitalism.
I see your point of view on capitalism, and I understand most people here feel that way. I think mine has changed from that over the last few years after I received massive support from the health care system I paid about $20/month into since I was out of university. A good portion of these purchases you mention are people moving from poverty. If we take all the toilet paper, they will have none and we have no right to stop them from having what we have. Just like the fresh water problem I see no solution other than population adjustment. I would not want to be forced to share my property with fifty immigrants. Those who work should be rewarded. But those who steal from those who work should be identified and cast out. Greedy people are more likely to steal - but that, and the morality of theft in today's world, are a topic for another thread.
