2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT Reserve | Verium launched! on: September 01, 2016, 06:06:19 PM
Is it hard to make a pool for this ? At current network hashrate its pretty impossible to find a block with a single PC. How low will the reward go btw ? it started at 17~ and now its 7~.

It seems somebody already probably managed to create a GPU miner and is not willing to share it but will be looking to sell it to other people once that person has mined a good amount of coins.

Would be able to see which address is mining the largest amount on the block explorer, I'm not seeing that...

Nope, if you're mining to your own wallet it just generates a new address for every found block Smiley

Is there a (publc) external CPU miner yet ? From what I see this is just a modified scrypt-n version..

I'd build a pool if I'd have something to test with and it's easier to build the pool than the miner Smiley

Contact the Devs, they might be able to help you out with any technical stuff

Well.. Who are the Devs and how can they be contacted ?! :-)

2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT Reserve | Verium launched! on: September 01, 2016, 06:00:48 PM
With this kind of block hit distribution, there isn't a huge difference between computational power of miners so it's also largely a game of chance after enough blocks pass.  This was a very decentralized launch!

Actually not really, with in-wallet miners every block goes to a newly generated address automatically, so you can only tell if you look at the ip addresses of the nodes which emit the found block..

It was quite well obfuscated, yes Smiley

Looks like it's over...

I'm closing kuc.suprnova.cc for obvious reasons
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Pros and cons in mining in a low hashrate pool + question about proportionality on: September 01, 2016, 12:03:08 PM
In short : Yes

You'll get the same amount on the low hashrate pool

2511  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: XMC(monero classic) SCAM, don't invest it on: August 30, 2016, 12:53:00 PM
Was there ever a hard fork of xmr where consensus was compromised?

No.

So what's the reason for xmr classic?

great question, isn't it ?

I guess the guy who started the thread wishes to surf on XMR current pump, and on the wave ETC created.

Conclusion : to grab money here and there.

A.K.A SCAM

Lol and if it's no faked buy, it seems some folks are really buying it

It's actually quite funny the first posts are always asking for any kind of bounties..  Bounties for testing, bounties for Zulu translation, bounty for staring at the wall, bounty for flushing the toilet...
2515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: August 29, 2016, 01:48:48 PM
The cointainer i'm running Sia off tries to connect to a lot of local addresses (10.10.1.10:9982, 192.168.x.x:9982) on a regular basis causing a lot of hits on my firewall, is this intended behavior ?
2516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Frost - FSX - Blockchain Applications - 5% of LTC hashrate on: August 29, 2016, 12:54:36 PM
why in supernova writen like this, Can we start mining now?

Suprnova's FrostCoin Pool // Algo: Scrypt // LIVE !

stratum+tcp://frost.suprnova.cc:3723 Nicehash: 3724

The Dev has decided to relaunch the coin with a new blockchain, all old coins are lost !

Because the source leaked yesterday already and was relaunched today.

2518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Frost - FSX - Blockchain Applications on: August 29, 2016, 11:18:24 AM
ah lol it's exactly the same source but the addnode was removed and it's a new genesis block.. and now we have 122 blocks "pre-mined".

Code:
{
    "version" : "v1.0.0.0-g32a928e",
    "protocolversion" : 60013,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "newmint" : 0.00000000,
    "stake" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 122,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "moneysupply" : 122000.00000000,
    "connections" : 1,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : {
        "proof-of-work" : 0.30889714,
        "proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414
    },
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1472469241,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00010000,
    "mininput" : 0.00000000,
    "errors" : ""

Honestly if the 'dev'  isn't even able to get diff adjustment right...  What more do you expect?

There are several other promising coins.
Check the thread now

So what's new? Any innovation?
2520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] FROST - Blockchain Applications - Launching in a few hours on: August 28, 2016, 11:32:24 PM
please more details.
how much total supply and road map
interesting no premine and ico

Did you actually read my post ?

Premine is 90 Blocks = 90000 Coins - so 3.6%, total supply is 2500000

Road map = Probably walletbuilders style.. But for this you'd have to ask the "dev"...
