2501  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to sell BTC: $80K, $100K or $150K? on: February 27, 2021, 02:48:15 PM
What is the top price that you may think bitcoin will reach this year?
I think the top price of bitcoin this year will be $80,000 or around $70,000 I have a strong feeling that it will make a new ath in which it will goes $60,000 and eventually will hit on $70,000. There is a huge possibility that it might happen especially on what we are seeing right now that the hype of bitcoin and other coins are still continuous and also the dump of what happened today and yesterday are still part of a correction and doesn't signifies that the bitcoin will eventually continue to dump. When it comes to selling I can say that you can already sell right now in which it is a safe play so that when the bitcoin dumps, you've already get your profit.
2502  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: February 27, 2021, 02:02:14 PM
Obviously the Visa will be having an interest to the cryptocurrency because all over the world knows that the sudden pump up of bitcoin brought a huge mass adoption on different parts of the world. Visa would like to take the advantage of this in order to ride in the hype that is going on the market, and also it is expected that many businesses and companies will be more interested in cryptocurrency it is because of different people who eventually invest in cryptocurrency just like Elon Musk.
2503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very high fees - bitcoin fails on: February 27, 2021, 01:14:35 PM
Of course there are fees whenever you are making a transaction in bitcoin but what I am trying to say is that the very high fees are kind of hard to make because imagine you will just transact a little amount of money and yet the transaction fee is way more bigger than the amount that you will transact. Just imagine that scenario, also the high fees are brought by the sudden increasing of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency so that the fees are way more higher than before.
2504  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc dump today and yesterday on: February 27, 2021, 12:15:10 PM

what  is behind the dump which is in progress last couple days ?
I know its volatility , but comparing to last couple months its quite bigger
Cheers
I think that the dump of the bitcoin price yesterday and today is normal because we all know that the volatility of the bitcoin was really big and yet compared to the past months it is quite bigger but it is also because the price of bitcoin is big then the dump was normal due to it's price compare to the price for the past few months. I've notice that many people are being afraid of what happened today and yesterday due to the dump, I will say that it is normal and it is just part of the price correction so don't be nervous and scared on it.
2505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Behind the Curtain Satoshi Nakamoto | Revealed. on: February 27, 2021, 11:46:57 AM

As for me, the only way we can start to determine if someone is the real Satoshi Nakamoto is if he has the keys that can move those huge amount of Bitcoin that can be under his control. Anybody can claim to be the guy and anybody can point to someone as the guy but all of these can just be baseless speculations not worthy of further discussion and maybe just a pigment of someone's imagination. I am always amazed at how some people are still allocating time to unravel the identity of Bitcoin's founder, who we assumed does not want to be disturbed wherever he can be assuming that he is a real personality.
I don't think so brother, because to be honest if Satoshi Nakamoto has a lot of bitcoin right now then it would be impossible. Why? Simply because there's a lot of price pump for the last 8 years and imagine if the price of bitcoin went just to $5 then eventually Satoshi Nakamoto will sell it immediately because I don't think that he/she foresee that the bitcoin will grow as huge as it is in now. If he is holding a lot of bitcoin way back then I guess he already sell it all and he/doesn't have any holdings right now.
2506  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Cryptocurrency is not legitimate money,' says Nigeria's central bank governor on: February 25, 2021, 05:06:41 PM
Of course the bank will say that cryptocurrency is not a legitimate money because they hate cryptocurrency and there's no doubt that they will say such information. We all know that the cryptocurrency is a legit one in which we are earning fiat money or true money in a form of digital currency that we are enable to convert into a real currency. So no doubt that this is a legit one, am I right? As long as we are making money through cryptocurrency I can say that this is a legit, earning fiat money from a digital currency is still a legitimate money.
2507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end the dollar’s reign? on: February 25, 2021, 04:30:41 PM
The thing that is for sure is that the bitcoin will not end the dollar reign and bitcoin will be just an alternative currency and will never be an main currency. I don't think that the reign of Dollars will end because if this happens then probably bitcoin will be not an efficient as like as before. Remember that bitcoin is also depending on dollar meaning the value of bitcoin is based on dollar so if dollar ends then the price of bitcoin may probably ends also.
2508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone over here accepting Crypto as payment ?... on: February 25, 2021, 03:33:46 PM
Actually there's a lot of stores who are accepting crypto as a mode of payment. I've read some article not so long ago that there's a coffee shop that are accepting bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum and XRP as a payment to their transactions. In online there's a lot of people and restaurants who are accepting bitcoin as a payment especially right now that the hype of bitcoin is clutter all over the world and maybe that is also a reason why people accept bitcoin and other crypto as a mode of payment by their customers. But still there are also some store who isn't accepting cryptocurrency and they want an fiat money to be done on their transactions.
2509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing bitcoin is achievement on: February 25, 2021, 10:38:04 AM
Frankly speaking, now is not the time to work and earn bitcoin. It will be really really hard for a newcomer to earn in bitcoin, the best bet you have is to buy them, as much as you can, in slabs preferably, and hold them. If you cant buy then try to earn some alt coins, join bounties and get them or play games and stuff and collect NFT's and you can sell them for Wax.
Actually now is the perfect time to earn bitcoin although it is very hard to earn right now due to high demand of it and the price was really high and it can't afford for a normal being to buy a bitcoin. What you need to do is to just wait until the price dumps and then buy it and hold it until it goes up again or what  I mean is a long-term investment. Another's thing to earn bitcoin is through mining but you need an good equipments in order for you to start ming bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
2510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 24, 2021, 07:00:39 PM
some traders and investors find it hard to take profit even after making good profit on investment. this can be as a result of aiming to sell at a desired price that is higher or hoping to hold the tokens for more longer time.  its not everyone that can do this patiently and some usually regret their actions. the secret is to make decision and stand by it and also be satisfied by little profits , take out your investments and some little profits and then leave the rest for long term.

kindly share your ideas that might be helpful to solving this issue.
Actually, traders and investors are aiming for big profits that's why sometimes they are having a hard time on it. All of the people are greedy let me honest on this one, because if the people are not greedy then the small profit will be enough already but sometimes as long as the people are having a good profit they are aiming more and more until sometimes they didn't notice that they are losing already. What I am trying to say is that if you've got profit then you can go out already and find again other investments that you will put your money into long-term investments. That's the life you don't need to be greedy in order to earn a big profit, sometimes right decisions are the best way to do.
2511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: February 24, 2021, 06:15:46 PM
What do you think of taking loan(s) to invest in crypto? What's your input? Have any of you done this already? Isn't this crazy?
I honestly encourage people not to take loans just to invest in crypto because crypto is a risky way of earning money and guys don't be hype about what you are seeing on Twitter about famous people who are buying cryptocurrency and they are having a profit. If you want to invest in cryptocurrency, I suggest that the money you should invest is that money you afford to lose because the cryptocurrency has big volatility especially bitcoin so to stop having a big loss then you should just risk the money you afford to lose right away.
2512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Researcher Finds an Old Twitter Profile May Have Been Satoshi Nakamoto's Account on: February 24, 2021, 05:42:20 PM
Although they find an old twitter account, there's a lot of possibility that he/she still not the true one because imagine if he will reveal himself right now, maybe there's a lot of bad things might happen to him/her. And I don't think so that twitter is really the real Satoshi Nakamoto because think about it if he will reveal himself and put his/her life into a bad situation. No one can know the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto and it will be forever unknown.
2513  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: February 24, 2021, 10:26:22 AM
The big question here is, will any of the new coins be able to kick bitcoin from its cryptocurrency throne? Most experts agree that it’s not likely in the nearest future. Bitcoin remains the most freely converted coin of all and its finite pool will probably continue making it more sought. Time will tell which coin will ultimately claim the win, but for now, bitcoin remains firmly ahead.
There's no new coins that will be able to kick the king Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the biggest among the cryptocurrencies. There are some coins just like ethereum who is kind of big also but I believe there's no one will be able to kick the all time king although it takes years.
There are so many people who is criticising bitcoin and it is because of it's heavy volatility that anytime it may dumps and lose your money but still many people are trying to risk their own money just to hit some jackpots, just look right now the bitcoin price is over $50,000 and I am pretty sure that a lot of lucky people has hit this.
2514  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: February 22, 2021, 05:37:23 PM
Even though the loans are very cheap nowadays, I still not encourage people to buy bitcoin by having a loans because at the end of the day debts will be debts and what if bitcoin suddenly dumps? Your loans and investments will be go to nothing. What you need to do is to buy bitcoin with the money that you can afford to lose because at the end of the day when the price of bitcoin dumps still okay to you because you just risk the money your extra money that anytime you can afford to take back again.
2515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Elon Musk looking to buy more Bitcoin ? on: February 22, 2021, 04:24:48 PM
There is a big possibility that Elon Musk will buy again more bitcoin, as we are seeing on his Twitter and social media accounts, there are a lot of tweets that has been related to cryptocurrency especially with bitcoin and doge. Maybe he is manipulating the market in order for him to buy more bitcoin and play again to the current price of it in the market. There's no assurance that he will buy so much but we are thinking that there is a possibility that he buys. Who knows? He will not do it if there's nothing behind of his plans.
2516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best cryptocurrency course on: February 22, 2021, 01:41:49 PM
What is a good cryptocurrency course for me to get a holistic grasp of everything and which will explain all of the technical terms in detail? And what are the sciences needed for one to understand the ins and outs of crypto meticulously? (ex: cryptography, finance).
What are you trying to say about cryptocurrency course? Course as in course in the school? Or are trying to say course that you may study? Actually I know a lot of people who just study in YouTube by just watching what they need to know and there are also some technical problems there that you may find solutions. All of you want to know about cryptocurrency is already in the internet all you just need to do is to have the courage to study it. If you want to learn on how to do trading then probably there are some online seminars that you might get in order for you to gain knowledge on what you need to do. Another thing is that since you are here in the forum, there's a lot of veterans here that may help you.
2517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts $100k before end of the year on: February 22, 2021, 01:10:44 PM
Skybridge capital founder(Anthony Scaramuc) predicts Bitcoin to hit another ATH  of $100k before the end of the year
His words in quote were
"I do think we see $100,000 in this coin before year-end … It’s just a supply and demand situation. You don’t have a lot of supply out there and very heavy demand"
And we know total Bitcoin available is 21 million where 78%(14.5 million) of the Bitcoin supply is not liquid leaving 22%(4.2 million) for buying and selling; Which will lead to the higher demand in Bitcoin and according to the skybridge founder low supply high demand keeps Bitcoin rising

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/skybridge-capital-predicts-100k-bitcoin-price-this-year-heavy-demand-diminishing-supply/

Actually I am thinking if this hype in bitcoin will continue throughout this year and if this hype will last until the end of the year, if this happens there's a lot of possibility that the bitcoin will make a new ath at the price of $100,000 which is really possible especially right now that the bitcoin is nearly to create again a new ath which is $60,000. As what is happening right now that many famous people are continuing the hype of the bitcoin then there is really a chance that it might hit $100k.
2518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lucky Bitcoiner on: February 21, 2021, 01:19:18 PM
On the random note of watching YouTube videos came across this Lucky Bitcoiner whose house is extravagant. Have anyone came across similar lucky persons who are rich enough through bitcoin. I'm completely excited on watching the video, because to own such a mansion isn't an easy thing.
Lucky Bitcoiner
I don't think that she was lucky, she put her money and invest it in bitcoin that's why she buys that extravagant house. I don't think that she is the only one one who is having a good and big mansion right now, I believe that there are so many of them that has been good and lucky to the pump up of the bitcoin. There are so many people who is become a millionaire due to this price surge of bitcoin. Congratulations to this girl that she really take the risks and now she already have a big and extravagant mansion.
2519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take team's cohesion into account when betting? on: February 21, 2021, 12:38:17 PM
Always remember that the strong players can beat by strong and a hard-working team. Sometimes the hard-working tram are the best team because they are the one who is having a great team work and those team that are persistent, compare to those teams that has a strong players but still have a bad attitude. Who do you think will win? Of course we will bet on the team that has the team work and persistent to win than to those team that all of the players are star player and having a bad attitude.
2520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if the major holders of bitcoin all decided to sell it all? on: February 21, 2021, 11:27:37 AM
If all of the big whales including the big holders of the bitcoin will immediately sell all of their holdings then probably there will be a a great impact on the market in which it will suddenly dumps but also including the scenario right now that the bitcoin is in the trend and has been hype by many people especially the famous ones then probably there will be an immediately buyer when those big whales and big holders sell their bitcoins.
