Hello all. More good news is in the works. I have been appointed treasurer for my son's Boy Scout pack. With this responsibility also comes the power of suggesting new ideas. Maybe a new CRISP for Scouts is in our future? This would hold true for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. I will have several meetings with the other pack members to discuss this opportunity to them. If not a new CRISP then at least I can open the door for many to join the CRISP for Kids. Either way it will be good news for cryptocurrency and DNotes.
Hey Marc, that's excellent news and a great idea! I think for specific organizations and such, it would be best for a privately run CRISP. RJF suggested a while back that we have a 'CRISP generator' that could be used for various pools and organizations. For instance, if you wanted to start a vacation fund between a group, or in this case an organization such as the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. In the meantime, CRISP for Kids would be the best fit. That's a good opening to ask what everyone thinks are the best options for a CRISP generator? Think about the various uses a CRISP generator would have, and the structures we may need in place. In this scenario, for the scouts, would you have a single person run the CRISP with one page for the Boy Scouts and another for Girl Scouts? Would you have a separate CRISP page for each troop? What would the person who runs the CRISP need to be able to do? |

I have been following quantum computing for a while. It will lead to many new possibilities, we never thought possible before, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence for machine, and human as well, which almost sounded scary. Those who can afford to be so equipped can drastically expand way beyond their current human limitations. Technically, if I can interface with my quantum computer, 24/7, it will quickly learn everything I know, research what I need to know and write the book, I am currently writing, far better than anyone could. This may sound exciting but if you are concerned about social economic inequalities, this could take it to a devastating level where a very small population preform better than the rest by a quantum leap. My advice, keep up with revolutionary technologies, including digital currency. Don't let your bankers talk you out of it. The world is changing at an ever increasing rate. One issue of immediate concern is the current state of encrypted password and security. Technically, the new quantum computing will render everything we considered "protected and safe" void. I am sure we will adjust. Technology always evolves. Here is another reason investing heavily in technology development before one is ready to commercialize it is not a very smart business strategy. Getting ready to react quickly is much more prudent. On the simplest possible level, if we are to have quantum computers then, ergo, we will need quantum security, quantum software, etc. All manor of new fields of computer science and opportunities will open to the next generation. This will be a "sea change" in the information world. Agreed, I know they are already thinking about quantum security. I'm sure the transitional and upgrade period will be a nightmare with new issues, but it will probably be worth it. |

I can speak to your post briefly, by saying your post doesn't offend me. We should question what government is doing, and the US government is not necessarily a representation of the American people. If what you say is true, I can guarantee you we didn't get a vote on it. We can all do our part to make this a better world, and we chose to do it through DNotes and digital currency.

You are absolutely correct TeeGee, it will be a long fight, but we believe a global accepted supplemental digital currency will put more power into the hands of the many and ultimately benefit humanity. We are here for the long run, and it won't be an easy road with many challenges along the way.
We have many great contributors who spend a good deal of time and effort on these projects, as well as creating their own projects around DNotes. From contributing to the forums, CryptoMoms, and helping with and writing for DCEBrief, to creating Videos, and Apps, and even supporting infrastructure. For that we are incredibly grateful to have found so many individuals willing to get involved. However, as Alan mentioned, we are looking for more like minded individuals and resources to really propel DNotes forward.

"if money is primarily used in economic transactions between two people, then it makes a lot of sense to me." That is DNotes’ ultimate goal. I have mentioned that in a number of my previous posts, that when the vast majority of DNotes transactions are between two parties, there will be little doubt that DNotes is superior to fiat currency. Getting to that point will take years and a lot of strategic positioning and great executions.
It will be great if we can write an article about this subject for DCEBrief. DNotes is a long term large scale global project that will take years or even decades to reach its ultimate goal - to facilitate the vast majority of the transactions between two parties. If you understand our ultimate goal you will understand and appreciate all the extra work and commitments we have subjected ourselves to. It is a lot of very hard work and not always a lot of fun. We believe that for DNotes to be the trusted global digital currency for everyone world to participate, thereby gaining mass acceptance - that is what it takes.
What has DNotes been doing differently?
1. Culture
Recognizing the fragmented and chaotic nature of our industry, we started by creating a culture of mutual respect, cooperation, and team work resulting in a productive and rewarding community atmosphere many characterized as “refreshing”. DNotes is now a respected currency with a purpose. This has made it possible for DNotes to have its own ecosystem system without outside funding. It is quite an amazing accomplishment for anyone who knows what it takes.
