2521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin Worth? on: February 25, 2019, 10:20:58 AM
just to be clear, since you repeated "sources" a lot, i have to say it is not "most sources" it is only one guy or basically one topic on bitcointalk that did some estimation a couple of years ago based on mining behavior and some Satoshi comments, etc and the conclusion was that it is somewhere close to 1 million (i don't remember how much it was like 700k or something like that) then all these news sites kept copying the same thing add some nonsense and publish it as their own.
Thank you for pointing that out. I had created a thread regarding this and came to learn that it's an assumption but no one shared what you did. Much appreciated.

you will end up having a nightmare because of the volatility specially with altcoins if you update every week Cheesy
try once per month at least.
It's not much of work. I think I can do it very often. In fact, I am trying to display it through a website.
2522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How much Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin Worth? on: February 25, 2019, 10:03:50 AM
It's always a mystery how much Satoshi's Bitcoin is worth? Many believe Satoshi owns 1 million bitcoin and many he/she lost access to his/her the address where he/she has BTC. It's a guess and might or might not be true that he/she owns 1 million bitcoin. As on the internet, most sources say he/she owns 1 million bitcoin, I have calculated assuming 1 million. This calculation includes some of the forks. I will appreciate if you direct me some more forks worth calculating.

List of the forked coin with price as of now-

  • BCH=$132.43
  • BTG=$12.48
  • BCD=$0.735167*10.0
  • SBTC=$1.42
  • BCA=$0.142317
  • BTX=$0.269/2.0
  • GOD=$2.42
  • BTCP=$1.16
  • BSV=$61.46
  • BZX=0.013264
  • MBC=$0.00013*10000.0
  • BTCL=$0.00333
  • BCI=$0.17
  • BIFI=$0.002*1000

As of Now, Net Asset of Satoshi Nakamoto- $4059024640
He/she is now 550th richest people in the world.
At ATH, Satoshi's bitcoin was worth- $19534999552, no fork included.

I will try updating the amount daily or at least once a week.

Can MultiSig be a solution to this?
Lost coins are good for people who have access to their coins, it doesn't necessarily mean that people want more coin get lost.

“Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.” said by Satoshi.
2524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin will be circulated within 2030? on: February 23, 2019, 06:15:35 AM
nothing about what you two said are correct.
the circulation of bitcoin does NOT decrease. it is constantly increasing. what is decreasing and the first person is confusing it, is the new coins that are being created. meaning in early days (the first ~4 year) 7200 new BTC was being created per day approximately, and after that it halved to 3600 and now it is 1800.
i don't know where he even brought 225 from!

as for the second comment, miners won't leave because price is also rising with this change. for example when the reward/day was 7200, price was less than a dollar on average. so it was $7200 per day.
now that it is smaller at 1800 reward/day they are earning more than $7 million on average per day.
and that will only increase with time as bitcoin grows.
Thank you for the clarification although I have had gotten this info earlier. Both of the persons didn't check the earlier discussion in this thread.
I'm afraid about the next few years. What if bitcoin got a crash within next few years? The block reward will be decreased to 900/day. Will it affect the miners? Provided that back in days when it was $7200 per day, the difficulty was lower than now.

or does that mean cash on delivery?  Grin Grin  Huh Huh
OP mentioned game competition. So, it certainly refers to a game. Why he should mention here cash on delivery even? Is it anyhow related?

Are you looking for a game competition for COD (Call of Duty). I am a little bit confused with your query. If so what I guessed, there is nothing like that I have seen.

Bitcoin faucet doesn't require huge knowledgeable person to create. Why don't you create one by yourself? Google or search on youtube, you will find the best method.
2530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know a good crypto. on: February 22, 2019, 11:53:53 PM
First thing to take note of is if the dev/team are active.

Next thing to observe is if the team are passionate about the project.

And finally the level of professionalism. i.e - do they have a quality website? Has everything they posted been thoroughly proof read? i.e no typos whatsoever?

Thats what i generally look out for - for starters.

If i spot a typo anywhere in their ANN or on their website then i know they can't be serious.
If all of the above are okay, you will invest in that? You gonna lose to most of the smart scammers.
2531  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to the real Bitcoincasino.com on: February 22, 2019, 11:25:33 PM
You said you just opened doors. But your domain name was registered in 2010.
Because most of the possible usable domains are registered a very long time ago. I had registered one domain back at 2016 for $3 and sold it later at $300, that is the fact for which you see the domain was registered back in 2010.

Is it legal to sell a script which you have been purchased from others? I doubt. You don't have the right to sell it.

2534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to replace fiat on: February 22, 2019, 11:01:50 PM
People need to stop spreading this dumb narrative. Bitcoin it's not going to replace fiat money, ever, the banks won't allow it, and the governments around won't allow it. What's going to replace paper money is electronic money, digital transactions, the increase in use of debit cards and other forms for spending electronic funds. If anything Bitcoin will be an alternative for payments so that merchants around the world can also accept btc.
Bitcoin always is referred as a currency. As per your comment, bitcoin is nothing but a payment system like paypal, payoneer, skrill. Don't you think bitcoin is a currency?

Could you throw more light on this?
It works as just an alert so that newbies with lack of knowledge can't fall into the scam and give their private key.
2536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: February 22, 2019, 10:50:26 PM
Nope, I was never able to purchase anything through bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. I had once bought one domain and paid for the hosting through bitcoin and the site from where I purchase the hosting is from my country.
2537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin will be circulated within 2030? on: February 22, 2019, 10:40:52 PM
Nobody is asking this question.  Huh  Why do you want to know this?
It's because I'm trying to know more about bitcoin and learn how the total bitcoin eco works. I'm also creating a short analysis on bitcoin and its future. Probably I will come up with a survey soon.
2538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin will be circulated within 2030? on: February 22, 2019, 04:35:06 AM
I think after 2030 the circulation of bitcoin will be around 225.
The total supply of BTC- 21 million. What did you mean through 225?

Is it true? then whether bitcoin can return to the way it used to when the circulation continues to fall.
There will be many miners who choose to stop mining bitcoin if this is the case, and the bitcoin forecast will develop 10 years later will be lost
Bitcoin halving occurs every 210000 blocks. Current reward per block is 12.5 bitcoin. The next halving will occur in May 2020 and reward per block will be 6.25

2540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin will be circulated within 2030? on: February 21, 2019, 02:16:36 PM
Some speculation say that 3 to 5 million coins are losted so far, but it is almost impossible to determine that number with any certainty.
Yes, I had created a thread to have some valid discussion here about the lost Bitcoins. Approx. 4 million is lost and a minimum of 5 million will be lost after all the 21 million BTC get mined. My thread- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5108242.0
But it's good for the bitcoin community who owns bitcoin, it was told by satoshi.
“Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.” said by Satoshi.
