Make it cost 2 smerit to remove 1, and don't allow merit sources to participate.  Smiley
2522  Economy / Lending / Re: Need Loan of $50k | Collateral Available on: May 08, 2020, 11:21:21 PM
You’re not being rude or being a dick. The OP is shady AF & nobody is going to do any kind of business with him based on what he’s stipulated. He’s got more chance of having sex with Mila Kunis than getting a $50,000 loan here.

What about me?   Not interested in the loan part...
2523  Other / Meta / Re: Greed or Need? What's changed with bitcointalk ? on: May 08, 2020, 11:00:44 PM
This is a bitcoin forum what did you expect? We are all greedy here.

Hold on there mindrust.

I've never been greedy.  I bought what I need, and now I work when I want.  Last month I was volunteering in the hospitals here.

I've never scammed anyone for as much as a satoshi.   Some people get more joy out of helping others.
2524  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Taking over our AWS instance if we go out of business? on: May 08, 2020, 08:02:52 PM
Thanks. Now how can our customers know *for sure* that we always pay Amazon 2 years up-front?

Send the coin to a trusted escrow who can pre-pay the account and take over billing access on your AWS account.
2525  Other / Meta / Re: Greed or Need? What's changed with bitcointalk ? on: May 08, 2020, 07:59:04 PM
It's not "greed" when you take what you need to survive.

It's greed when you are set for life, and you still actively work to get as much profit as possible from everyone.  (I don't think sig campaigns are greedy)

I've never needed extra income as I have very few expenses other than food, utilities and property taxes.  But being Legendary does not automatically mean "rich".
2526  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Great Investment Opportunity and partnership!!! on: May 08, 2020, 07:55:31 PM
I need to get this ASAP.

Why aren't you answering questions then?
2527  Economy / Reputation / Re: Marlboroza - scammer supporter and trust abuser working for chipmixer why? on: May 08, 2020, 07:52:49 PM
Dark star and moronbozo need to explain why this type of behavior seems to surround chipmixer.

Need to?  Try getting some respect on this forum before you go demanding accountability from established members.

You keep bad company as well.

Earth is ~6000 years old
All humans came from Adam and Eve
Eve was created from Adam's bone.
If You do not accept these truths, You go to hell!
You go to Hell also by wearing clothes made from two different fibers.

Every person will pick and choose the rules they want to follow.  The rest of them they break, then clasp their hands together and forgive themselves.

That's why you can never fully trust a cult member, as they will kill their family if the voice in their head says so.  :/
2529  Other / Meta / Re: #meritislife: how to be notified on a smartband of merits and mentions on: May 08, 2020, 05:44:59 AM
I don’t know where you live, but where I live Amazon delivers it on Monday.  Might be a stupid thing to check there? (I didn’t include amazon link as it sounded like a promotion of the shop and being region-dependent).

I'm in no rush, as I currently use a FB Charge 2 and am just doing Tai Chi.  I got it for $33.90 USD.
2530  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Advice regarding cryptocurrency scholarships on: May 08, 2020, 02:40:59 AM
Thank you for your reply, how should we go about proving it's authentic?

Right now you've posted words, like everyone else.

Start by signing a message showing you have $2,000 in crypto.  If not, no one will take you seriously.
2531  Economy / Reputation / Re: To all DT1 members, please reply on: May 08, 2020, 02:24:21 AM
I think this thread should just be locked at this point. peloso's far excluded from DT1 at -6 with little hope of getting strength 0 and it's clear to everyone by now that he abused his DT powers.

All this work and attention on one person abusing DT, and tenish others have slipped in unnoticed.   This will go one month after month.

I think BPIP needs to create a new report ranking profiles with the most DT changes in the last so many days.   Or even a report like this:
https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=Vod
If you click on the funnel (filter?) icon to the right under the header, you could filter the time period and other attributes.

My choice was on the Xiaomi MI band 4

Here the specs:
https://www.mi.com/global/mi-smart-band-4/specs

Very nice suggestion!  I was thinking of getting the new Galaxy Smartwatch, but these bands make so much more sense - lighter, less power drain and less expensive than a watch.  With the new BlueTooth, people should look into separating duplicate features on their phone/smartwatches.

I ordered one - delivery in August lol.
2533  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Random Token Exchange. An idea. on: May 06, 2020, 08:07:44 PM
Random Token Exchange. An idea.
...people exchange random tokens with each other.

Hey BM,

1) Can you clarify the sentence containing random?   Do people not control the tokens they send?

2) How will you choose which tokens to include in this random selection?  It would have to be automated, or else you would face constant accusations.

I have more questions, but I need those answered first.  Smiley
2534  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Request - Projects to create Bitcoin job opportunities. on: May 06, 2020, 06:26:46 PM
I am calling on the creativity of our Bitcoin and Alt coin community to use their creativity to create online business for people who are currently unemployed. <Notice that I am not asking for charity, but rather a method for people to learn how to fish for themselves or to work for their money>

I'll donate iamhere.page to someone that wants to create a simple notification tool for people arriving at appointments.  Right now you arrive, find phone number, call them, they call you back when you can come in.  I don't have any time like everyone else.

It's not a bitcoin job op, but it is a relevant needed tool.  Smiley
2535  Other / Meta / Re: change into election algorithm on: May 06, 2020, 03:33:00 AM
It would be almost impossible to automate looking for the signature markup on some user's profile because there's no database of them all.

Wouldn't be hard at all for BPIP or LoyceV to scrape signatures when they scrape the profile.  Duplicate signatures can be detected instantly.

Or, Theymos could create a database of paid signatures, and you'd have to select one if you wanted a sig.   How many people notice signatures anyway?
2536  Economy / Reputation / Re: To all DT1 members, please reply on: May 06, 2020, 12:22:50 AM
peloso's judgement is Trusted by:
cryptohunter
H8bussesNbicycles
The-One-Above-All

Solution is simple.   ~ the three profiles listed above, and they should drop peloso.
2537  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Great Investment Opportunity and partnership!!! on: May 05, 2020, 10:57:32 PM
Vikram, you are a newbie here and you are trying to push a pump and dump.  It's going to lead to negative trust, although you probably don't care as this is a throw away account.  :/
2538  Other / Meta / Re: Large number of face mask selling threads in marketplace board on: May 05, 2020, 03:47:19 AM

A mask will not stop you from getting the virus... but it will stop you from spreading it to others, since there is a period you do not know you are infected.   Canada's health minister recommends everyone wear a mask in public.   Doesn't mean we are confused thinking it's protecting us.  Smiley
2539  Economy / Services / Re: Let Me Gamble For You on: May 05, 2020, 02:42:40 AM
Is the disrespect warranted? I'm not here to scam anyone. At least wait until you've seen proof of my loan repayment history, my vouches, and proof of income.

People do not have a magical pool of "respect" that they use up.   With no history, and no proof, why should anyone give you more respect that you give strangers?
2540  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it worth selling a site during COVID-19? on: May 04, 2020, 10:56:42 PM
How do you think gambling traffic will change when people will go back to normal life? It just has to go down, right?  Huh

I offer my opinion only on the quoted questions.

The internet has seen a jump in usage worldwide with social distancing/stay at home policies.

Once people are allowed to go back to normal, your traffic will drop.  We just don't know when "normal" will be; there will probably be a few more waves of infection yet.
