Aside the casinos gambling rules they stated on their platform for gamblers to adhere to, there are other general terms and conditions that we must follow as a gambler to have a nice experience with gambling, we aren't any longer like children we behave like a novice, but we are matured gamblers that should knows the code of conducts to most situations in gambling and when we are at it, we already know ourselves.

Gambling responsibly is a major task we must take into consideration, gambling is not about taking the wrong side of it all, but making the best out of the gambling opportunities in having fun through a modest gambling experience we have set tor ourselves to follow or take in.
2523  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is something big happening behind the scenes that no one is talking about? on: May 15, 2023, 01:11:06 PM
Ive been playing with their casino and I enjoy most of their perks and rewards, seems like even the other casino make an adjustment the same way or find a more effective way of marketing strategies besides this because they know that these rewards have a good way of earning and profit to them to get more players for sure they will not reduce those instead they will add more perks to the players. In that case I guess if the player does not on it too much like being dependent its not really a big deal but well its add some spices for the game.

So they are just having new marketing strategies? like diversifying their bonuses, unlike before, when they were only saturated with new users and first-time deposits to attract new gamblers. This is really something new, which for sure all of the casinos will follow, and that is really good as they are now looking at their current users, unlike before, when we only noticed their banners were mostly about new users.

If you study gambling casinos very well, they were not after their own personal interest alone, rather they considers what the gamblers experienced with them as well in gambling, through this bonus initiative being introduced, it helps maintain and retain their gamblers to them for a very long duration, thereby already dealing with economic challenges that could bring down their business flow of imcome through the numbers of gamblers that made them a patronage each day gambling, bonus is another strategies to retain gamblers, appreciate their efforts and maintain a steady operational plan even as new gamblers were coming onboard to their websites.
2524  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is something big happening behind the scenes that no one is talking about? on: May 15, 2023, 12:47:41 PM
Long story short - is something happening now? Is there something big that's happening behind the scenes and no one wants to talk about it other than behind closed doors?

Alot is actually happening behind the operations of many organizations and companies which are undisclosed to us from our backend here because those involved are the ones that really knows what they are passing through, let's considers the current inflation looming the entire world economy in most aspect of the world ranking business settings, some enterprise were already going bankrupt while those managing to scope were left with no other choice than to drastically cut down their cost in other to meet up the normal running of their businesses.

Yes, Google, Amazon many other giants had to cut down costs, staff and more, but why crypto gambling sites? Aren't these growing now and replacing the failed traditional sites that take 3-4 business days to get the user paid?

Gambling sites had it own mode of operations, you can't compare them with other centralized institutions, gambling sites requires the outflowing of the gamblers to their website on a regular basis and needs to keep their gamblers interested through the constant maintenance and bonus offers to their gamblers, which means bonuses is a major attraction of gambling institutions to get more gamblers and may not cut down the cost through this because they might be loosing customers.

2525  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: May 15, 2023, 12:23:46 PM
One thing I have noticed is that many of these casinos want to be known to the latest trending so that gamblers that are lovers of the trending will subscribe to there network. That is what many thinks and it had been working for them but I don't see any need for that rather than just been the regular casino we used to know. Many of the Cryptocurrency projects are claiming to be web3 the fact is that we are not even sure of they ever know what they are claiming. There projects casinos that claims to be web3 are only interested is gaining the heart of gamblers.

That's why I don't think much about web3 casino because I think it's all the same. Maybe what's different is that we can connect our personal wallet to the casino so we don't need to register using email or have to verify accounts. We shouldn't need to do KYC either because we didn't register directly but only used a personal wallet. But still, one day, the casinos may ask us to do KYC. And gamblers will also know what kind of casino they want to look for, so they will choose it after finding the one that suits them.

This. Could have been easier if they will accept this notion but consider them been a centralized gambling casinos they might not want to have individuals wallet connected to their casinos than you having the one they have created and given to you, if you provided them with your personal wallet which maybe is a decentralized wallet to be linked to your casino account, they may not really want to create an avenue that will not give them super priority or access to your casino wallet in doing that, the more reasons you see many has opted in for a decentralized no KYC required casinos for their gambling experience even with the use of web3 gambling technology
2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 15, 2023, 12:01:40 PM
Reading another post, it crossed my mind that AIs and particularly ChatGPT could potentially be trained with a large samples of games played by poker champions and then put it to auto-play with amateur on-line players. If this is successful, it could mean the end of human on-line poker playing except perhaps for the world masters and the like. Has anyone tried? Would it be possible??
why is poker called skill-based gambling?  because what is needed in playing poker is a skill, apart from that experience and being able to adapt quickly to surroundings are also very important in the game of poker.

anyway, you say what if chatGPT is taught to play poker? maybe in the future chatGPT or similar AI can be taught how to play poker but can we teach emotion, experience and adaptation to it?  of course, the answer is no.... then that's the conclusion AI will find it difficult to beat professional (humans) poker players.

When we are conso the use of ChatGPT then there are many functionalities that may be disabled through the performance of our gambling skills, this particular poker games beed our personal experience with performance in other to enjoy the best it could offer, because by then you will have to rethink and reengage your mond with ideas and different opinions that best suit your skills, develop them and apply them i gambling to enable you have more opportunities and potentials for winning each time we gamble tgan loosing or using a artificial intelligence already programmed.

Gambling casinos do not let us gamble to win, but for them to take advantage on our funds and make them profitable. So I don’t believe that they will provide patterns for us, instead everything is already controlled by  the gambling operators before we start gambling in their platforms. That’s how unfair gambling is. But we fail to see it at times we won, instead that creates more motivation for us that we can actually take advantage in gambling by creating some patterns. However, in the end, it’s always certain that casinos have still won back all our profits, because of the constant edge that they have over their players.
I think you are using the wrong words here, it is not like they don't let you win, or there are gambling operators who are controlling everything. Casinos are a business, and like any other business, they need money to run the business, hence the business model is built in such a way that it favors the platform more than the gamblers.

You can call it unfair or whatever, but there is nothing that is hidden from you or anyone who gambles, the house never says that they don't have an edge over you, they even let you know the house edge percentage for each game.

And this is the fact, no any gambling casino can restrict you from winining if yoy didi not do thatbto yourself at first, fine and good they were out for business and to make money but not on our own detriment, which means if you knows how to gamble and win, they can't stop you from getting your winnings and same is applicable vise versa when you pay them to gamble, they must provide you with the service you're paying them for, at the end, no one feels cheated or denied his right in gambling except you fall into the scam casino projects.

Professional help only helps a little because there is a time limit in helping, and indeed the most helpful and influential are the people closest to him. Like family, partners, friends and others, because they will always be with us and can help prevent it if they care.
and indeed when we are addicted to something it is very difficult for us to overcome, it is better not to get used to it and in the end it can become addicted. And to limit it we can create new activities that can be done on the sidelines of our busy life, so that we forget about addiction, and all of that there must still be intention and determination for addicts.
Professional help doesn't work on addiction like the way people perceived it to be, some people go as far as going meet a doctor to get some therapy and also rehabilitation but still, it will end with no positive result and that is what has been the reality, so just as you said, it is better not to get involved in any addictive activities or substance, because withdrawal process is not that easy to achieve on the long run.
But then a change of the environment can help you reduce the hold of addiction on the addicted and this can even go as far as erasing the memory from the victim but the majority of the efforts must come from the individual involved.

Any help to be received best is rhe ones that comes through our sincere determination in gambling, we can hire a professional psychologist or metal physiotherapist to engage us on this gambling responsible, but when our mind isbnot turned away from it completely, we will just hear but not act what they have instructed, it is very easy to control and emotion for addiction from the early stages before it escalated to he advanced stages which are likely uncontrollable, change in environment can also help and any other thing that could facilitate gambling irresponsible to be well tackled with, including having access to money to be use for gambling at all times.
2530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every Block With Fees > Subsidy So Far on: May 13, 2023, 10:40:35 AM
Today these are extraordinary events, but there will come a time in the future when the extraordinary will be the opposite. Or does anyone believe that when the block reward is for example 0.0244140625 BTC, the miners will get more from the reward than from the fees?

We have to go back the the end result that will happen after when all the blocks had been mined completely, which means miners will now have the chance to depend onbthe transaction fee of which i think is already happening with the increase in transaction fee but the difference here now is that this is coming from the introduction of ordinals and not from the one expected after all blocks are mined, but since at every halving, the block reward in reduced by 50% then i think probably that miners would all prefer this experience with ordinals to continue because they milk their income from it higher than expected and will always be even after the entire blocks were mined completely.

I understand what it means when one is so desperate to make an offer but it has to be in the right and appropriate manner, this is totally uncalled for to plagiarize on someone's else work or article for yourself, you could have learn about how to quote and insert the right link then give your own ideas as additional, if you had taken your time to read the forum's rules and regulations maybe this would have not happened, but i consider you being lucky because you're informed of your mistake right before the moderator apprehends you for plagiarism which could have led to permanent ban.

2533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: May 12, 2023, 09:58:31 AM
Exactly, there is no one to blame even the bookies. In gambling, we put our hope for luck, not something that is certain to get. If someone loses and blames other people, maybe he needs to change his mind in gambling. Because gambling is not someone else's will, but his own will. When he made a deposit, it was his decision. Even if there are people who ask him to gamble, the decision is made from his decision and not from the one who invited him. When we lose and lose everything, that needs to be a reason to stop if we can. But if not, make it time to rest and change our gambling style. Maybe we are doing wrong while betting.
Gamblers should think about responsible gambling so that every win and loss is an outcome that cannot be blamed on someone else. Losing and winning are certain things, but it is true that there are some problems that may arise at casinos because the network or system may not fully respond properly when the bettor throws his bet. I don't remember if there was such a case, but maybe you have heard of it in the past.

As a reasonable gambler, why should you even think about giving your loss blame on someone when you're the one gambling and incharge, you make use of your money to gamble and yet some cannot be independent i thinking and reasonings than depending on their friends for supports in making decisions, also in gambling, once a bet is been made, it's not possible to reverse or cancel the slip anymore than embracing the fate, therefore it's not that we should limit our learning scope to our fellow gamblers but the final decision to take must always come from us.
2534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Man Who Saw Tomorrow on: May 12, 2023, 09:42:14 AM
After Nostradamus, I would say that Satoshi is another man who saw the future. For instance, he predicted what is currently happening with bitcoin transactions many years ago. This is a quote I found on the forum.

Quote
"I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume." -- Satoshi

True to it, bitcoin is not yet 20 years old, and we are already seeing very large transaction volumes that are taking almost forever to get to the recipients. We don't know when this will end or how it will end, but we are sure that whenever it ends, bitcoin will still be standing. What are the other predictions that Satoshi has made that are happening now, have happened, or are yet to happen?

Satoshi is being passionate in what he does and this begins when he first have the interest of the world to himself in seing a better financial situation than we've been having, he knew that risk he was taking in making a serious research and findings in other to get bitcoin invented, he also knew about the risk involved upon this research work he embarked to be either successful or failure, but here's the results of what he had done 14 years baxk and still counting as a lifetime achievement and it turned to a success we all have today with bitcoin.
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 12, 2023, 09:28:22 AM
my question is, is it safe to share bank account statement for verification purposes?  the site is reputable, but in bank statement all my information are available. is it safe to share?

If you are to consider your privacy it may not be necessary but yet you won't get your money recovered, but since the casino is a KYC casino enabled, they already have some aspects of your information with them, which i believe they are requesting for bank statement because they wanted to be sure that you make the deposit and only your name, email address and possibly your mobile number and contact address were all made available on the account statement you may want to present to them, which i also believe that those informations can't give them access for an entry into your account to defraud you except they have your password and other secret informations regarding the account, only your privacy that is at stake as i can see the whole scenario here and you may end up been refunded.
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 12, 2023, 09:09:11 AM
After the first one that @alegotardo posted HERE

Now they have discovered yet another big sports betting fraud scheme in Brazil, it's like the part 2
The repercussion in Brazil is such that CBF has already asked the Federal Police to investigate.
So far there are 16 defendants involving players from the A and B series of the Brazilian championship.
Including the most notable so far is the Santos player Eduardo Bauermann, who has already been removed from the team and will probably be fired.

Brazil had been known as one of the countries where sports activities in their varieties takes place and they are known for these because almost every Brazilian engage in doing one sport or the other, but why scam is getting common to this same country becomes a thing of concern as people will begin to loose trust in the gambling aspect if the government through its agencies on sports affairs is not making regulations or taking necessary steps to curb this fraudulent activities in Brazil regarding gambling, many may lost trust in gambling because they will be afraid of getting scammed anytime they are interested in gambling.

2537  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin is not rising soon!. on: May 11, 2023, 04:30:57 PM
The movement of price index has clearly show that the price will not rise this year, is almost half a year now since the price drops, this is far beyond inflation and fiscal policy of the government, I think bitcoin is suffering heavy weight withdrawals and it might end up been this Stuart for the year.

You can't draw a conclusion on that, remember bitcoin has gone down the dip to $15,000 before things begin to surge fine till we arrived $29,000 and finally now on $27,000, who knows what may be the aftermath to this occurrences happening about ordinals and high transaction fee, bitcoin may rise or fall more but we can't be accurate with this prediction as to when it may occur, not even now that we are getting closer the the next halvig which will unleashed another bullrun that we all expects, it's better to always remain being speculative in studying the trends on the moves with bitcoin price than concluding yet because anything ca happen anytime soon.
2538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you think will be the next Big development on Bitcoin after Bitcoin LN? on: May 11, 2023, 04:22:33 PM
Imagine how wonderful it would have been it the so called Bitcoin LN is running on the Bitcoin chain itself, I keep telling people that Bitcoin LN isn't the same with Bitcoin, I would have preferred if Ordinals is running on Bitcoin LN instead, they should have left Bitcoin the way it is, we love it like that, we never wanted Ordinals running on Bitcoin chain, we have Segwit too which is better than Bitcoin LN, it is well.

We believe more work to comes out base on the developers research and conclusion on ordinals if it works to be a secured attempts on bitcoin network and at the same time cause the entire transaction fee to be lowered to less than $1 as it has been before, we believe there can be a lasting solution and probably there's enough contemplation already going on about this matter, wether to eliminate Ordinals or provide a remedy that will not place a hook on the neck of bitcoin community and users,
2539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New wallet uses Amazon hardware security modules to eliminate seed words on: May 11, 2023, 04:08:01 PM
Quote
Speaking to Cointelegraph, the Kresus team said that their new wallet app attempts to fix this problem using a wallet infrastructure and software development kit (SDK) called “Magic,” which stores the user’s private key on an Amazon Web Services computer that is specifically designed to store highly sensitive information.

The AWS computer encrypts the user’s key with a Master Key that cannot leave the hardware module, much in the same way that a hardware wallet does. This eliminates the need for seed words or private keys to be stored on the device or kept as a paper backup, the team said.

This isn't good enough for those that can understand the influence of a third party andbthe use of a central server online storage apps, they can bebas dangerous as unaware to users and not everything they gave to say you believe, why can't you device a means to secure your seeds yourself than relying on their system for the storage, what is the guarantee that they can't be bridged, track you or got attacked themselves by hackers.

Is seed phrase a problem?

It's not a problem but how you store it is what determines it's a problem or not.

You are asking not to be advised and yet you making a big mistake by having another thread outside an already existing topic, you could have at least asked this question on the other topic to avoid anyone of them turning into spam threads.

Because thread duplication is not encouraged and is seen as an offence that can lead to the topic being reported and deleted.

In addition to this, creating threads doesn't make any difference in your pursuit for achievements on the forum, it will rather create another impression about him being a spammer which is expected to have being known by OP to always make use of the search button to check if relevant discussions had been made on his area of interest, but in this case, it's his own topic which he made and yet opened another thread, he should be lucky its not locked, you don't have to create a new thread before you can be able to pass across any information at hand or ask questions about anything.
