I think the virtual reality playing experience still needs time to develop because it will require tools supporting the technology. And I heard that the tools being sold today are still very expensive and even then, it seems that they have not been integrated into the gambling business. To be fair, the concept of Web3 or decentralized casinos is still very new, so I am not sure if it is fair to compare them in such direct way to centralized casinos (which have existed for many years). Maybe, as time goes on and things improve with the altcoins adoption, the volume of decentralized casinos will get bigger, so will the profits. The money would call for more programmers and open source game providers to join, translating to variety and options for gamblers.

There is still much work to do and a long path ahead, in my humble opinion.

I would not try a brand new casino if that is web 3 based or only using the Web 3 name for marketing purposes.

How can you say it is safer than landbased casinos?  In terms of risk, it has more risk because the platform can be a rouge one that can siphon your balance on your connected wallet.  It can be disguised as a gambling platform but in reality can be a hackers way to access your wallet.
