2521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 06, 2017, 11:08:42 PM
Since there isn't a scientific explanation yet for events that co-relates(meaning happened more than once with almost the same setup), people take that as superstition as the best possible answer.
What is the scientific explanation you need while gambling. Tongue Since i do not believe in the supernatural i do think like that, there are several things in the world that you really cannot find an answer but when it comes to gambling provably fair is the answer you have to look for rather than superstition. Cheesy

Everything in the world, and outside of it has an answer.
We just can't reach and comprehend some of them - yet, but we will, either during or after our lifetime.
But I agree with the provably fair over superstition thing you said  Cheesy

kingcarsen has asked me to transfer 5000 DNR to him for bounties etc.
Therefore, I have 4800 DNR at my disposal as an escrow for the signature campaign.
This is still a very big amount, and I believe this campaign will be running for a long long time Cheesy

I believe a bragging rights thread belongs in the off-topic  Cheesy
In this case I'm not going to brag about anything I did, but I don't know, I really had the need to talk to someone about this.
For someone, this might not be a lot of money, but for a 20 year old student who never had more than 1500$ in cash (bitcoin is another thing  Cheesy) is a whole lot.

I'm currently escrowing 10 000 Denarius for their Signature Campaign
After paying out this weeks payments
Here's what the wallet looks like

With the current state on exchanges:

2524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 06, 2017, 10:42:37 PM
I always watching my capital while play gambling if not i will losing all my money. Play gambling like casino game it's very difficult to know it's like chance 70% lose and 30% win to me. Only luck can my make me win. But It's not happening if i play sport gambling choice a great team most likely will win.
IMHO, sportsbetting is the most safe way and less risk compare to other gambling type. Because you can have a huge advantage if have a good info regarding the particular sports you are betting unlike other gambling type which only rely on luck alone.
Yes sports betting is very safe and it has alot of predictor in here you can join free or tip to be a sure of you money but not 100% accurate.

Nothing in gambling can be safe, the odds are set by the risk factor, therefore in the favor of the house.

I believe playing riskier games is better, since the "safer" ones yield very little profit.

Considering the "safety" of sports betting, if you're thinking about the games being framed etc.

Sports betting is a bit safer than a regular casino, but still, online we have so many provably fair casinos, so this arguement isn't very legit.
2525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: July 06, 2017, 10:28:52 PM
some addicted people want to leave gambling at once, but it is very difficult, may be some addicted people have been even succeeded but in most of the cases people do not succeeded in such ambitions, they need to quit gambling slowly and with some great planning and strategy, otherwise there are more chances that he will start gambling again every he is remain untouched to it for few months or even for years..

It actually depends on your persona..

You can quit a lot of things by just making a sudden drop, you don't to decrease, you just need to motivate yourself to completely stop.

I know people who quit smoking with a half of an unfinished pack of cigarettes, and dozens of people who "are going to" quit smoking when they finish this pack, and it's always until that pack etc.

There are ofcourse people who won't be able to do this, so they'll try something else, find a replacement for your addiction.
My girlfriend stopped smoking by using an e-cig, gamblers can try gambling in virtual games with virtual currencies etc.
It depends on your goal and charachter, if it's money you're stopping for or something else.
2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 06, 2017, 10:20:56 PM
I don't really believe in superstition belief. For me it is just base on luck when it comes in gambling, most of the time when you don't have luck you lose. I don't believe in superstitious. Huh
That's true, you shouldn't even think about it and it might cost you bad luck, it's just like how you think about something so much that it didn't end up happening. There is just nothing. I believe that it's based on our actions and how we deal with it is the answer.
That's true, it is not depend on our superstitious. Gambling would always depend on luck even how skills you have it is always needs luck to win, some gambling games not needs skills and professional gamblers does not always winning.

Gambling have no link with superstitious. But i see a lot of people are superstitious usually when they start betting, because they believe on something unique and different, but behind the scene nothing is here except luck. I believe only luck, it is working and we win everything including gambling because of luck.
How it is possible that in your first sentence you say gambling and superstitions have no link and yet on the next sentence you state that when people gamble then they become superstitious, it does not make sense, evidence suggest that people when confronted with something outside of their control will try to use charms or anything that could help them in this.
Yeah I dont think people started to become superstitious when they gamble. Not all really believes on it. There are just people who believes on their strategy and that makes them good as they gamble. I guess its just a normal thing to gamblers that we have something to believe even theres no basis.

Yeahhh

I don't think beliveing in your strategies gives you a better edge in gambling Cheesy
It just can't make you better, though it can make you deposit and gamble more than you should xD
2527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 06, 2017, 10:04:11 PM
I wouldn't mind logging into a gambling site if it were based in USD.

If it were a crypto based gambling site, I probably wouldn't use a social media login. Not with Senate Bill 1241 proposed which could grant the US government the power to seize crypto without just cause or checks/balances.

Indeed, goverments have too much power.
We know for a fact we've been spied on from our TVs, cellphones, that not only Viber and Facebook but even Signal was breached

I always avoid using social media logins, but a lot of times, you're in a hurry, and it's a quick way in, unfortunately..

Payments have been sent!

Everyone is automatically reenrolled into the campaign!

New spreadsheet has been added to the OP!

i just joined thanks!  Wink

I'm sorry, we're currently having problems with Full Memebers.
I will contact you soon!

Really looking forward to the project, I'd love to get higher in the Sig Campaign, but I don't subscribe to useless posts to bump post counts in my more than a decade on forums, so I'll just have to do my best with this project in other ways.

Thanks for all the prompt and hard work we can see is going on in the background to expedite this project and not let it languish and slowly evolve.

Oh, and DQ4xWwMzVH2NG8GFG9p9rMTL4fQEXqLjcn if it tickles your fancy. I promise this is the last time I'll post my address, from here on out it's just direct support for the project!

You have been paid 5 DNR since you were an illegal entry (We don't accept newbies), but you have made 22 posts as a Newbie and 7 as a Jr.Member, so I have decided to pay you half the Jr. Member wage.
Enjoy your DNR! Smiley

First of all, your way of using slurs shows us how immature child you are.
Second of all, you were FUDding all along. Since thetorcoin did not know about the wallet thingy, it was not a scam.
Yes it does not look good right now, but i think you have some growing up to do. Anyway have a nice day!

Doesn't look good? Your dev hasn't logged in for a month or something. Keep holding that bag tightly. And no I wasn't fudding I was making totally valid arguments but you people didn't want to listen because you had paid 5-10 dollars per coin before the big dump. Keep hoping though don't listen to an immature guy like me. I will enjoy seeing this coin dump to 1 sat and make fun of you guys in the process

Which dump dude?

2534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Casinos Are There in Your Country? on: June 29, 2017, 09:44:56 PM
There are only a few as the government has strict policies about it. Also the government has it's own agency regarding the control of gambling and part of the profits should go to the charities it supports. I guess, this is nice since they actually are distributing wealth, if you think about it. Though, I wish it was less strict so they can build something like las vegas.

Wait, goverment requires the casinos to pay something to charity?

It's not nice if you have to force someone to give his money away
It's fun if they do it voluntarily.
That's an example of a socialist government doing what it can to stop businesses from making big money. The more it seems to them like a company has it easy, the more pressure they're putting on it to make its owner's lives harder.
That's one of the reasons some countries have very few casinos, the regulations are killing this business.

This doesn't sound very real to me.
I'v heard of socialist countries, but socialist countries that force people to pay to charity, that's a new one o.o
2535  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitroyale.io || The Bitcoin Duelling Game! on: June 29, 2017, 09:36:14 PM
I'm just trying it out.
The website looks pretty sweet, has a certain PrimeDice look to it.
However, your thread does need some styling  Cheesy
Also, the 2% fee is quite high!
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I made 1 BTC in one night from a gambling website on: June 29, 2017, 09:17:23 PM
I think his purpose is just smart using of affiliate links. that actually can be happen if you know how to promote that link and if you got addicted gamblers  you can get a good referral earnings.. but promoting affiliate link from gambling site is not easy because  no advertising or whitehat seo can promote gambling except for blackhat seo methods..
And i think he is lucky that he gain 1 btc..

He said he didn't market it.
He just made a thread and got lucky (if the story is true).
2537  Economy / Gambling / Re: JUST IN!! Primedice New CEO. on: June 29, 2017, 09:13:45 PM
I will soon make full post and announcement about all this.

There is nothing to worry about guys if anything I will be the first to work very hard on transparency. Everybody knows who I am and my real name etc.
That is a good way to start.
I will talk with shareholders about making pd bankroll and all the stats public as well. I want to make bitcoin gambling transparent alongside provably fair. So players can gamble without any suspicion or anything to worry about. Just relax and gamble to have fun. That is what gambling is for after all.

I would like to know why it happened, and it happened all of a sudden actually. I just hope nothing bad has happened before this change of leadership. So far primedice has been one of the leading dice sites and has never had any issues since its inception. Good luck with this PD!

Yeah, me too.
Stunna is kind of engraved in my memory of my early bitcoin days.
So I'm pretty curious on what's going on with the website and why he left.
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I made 1 BTC in one night from a gambling website on: June 29, 2017, 09:05:15 PM
There is no such a thing as luck this is all bullsh*t,  there is no winning in gambling, get the fu*k out of here, you think we were born yesterday to come here and talk about other people winning via your referral link? if winning in gambling was that easy then we wouldn't have so many casinos popping out every day.

It's actually quite easy to win.

What the problem is, is getting out while you're ahead.

When people win, they think to themselves, oh my god, this way easy!
I'll keep earning more and more this way.
Then they play until they lose and reality hits them, what is the moment when they quit - at a loss.

2540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: June 29, 2017, 08:41:19 PM
If you can still learn from gambling and you could win too. The problem is that, it's too risky. Lose too much trauma You can when the big money involved. It really depends on the person. Thus it is probably not feasible for you, we suggest that you should be able to decide on one that can make you los

Make you what? Huh It just ended, just like that.

Well, the only winner in gambling is the casinos. They win in the long run, not because they are lucky but because that is how the casinos are wired. It is a business and that is why gamblers should wake up from their delusions that they can clean out the casinos.

It's very possible to win short-term, it's just highly unlikely to win long term.
If you want profit, get out while you're ahead Cheesy
