If the new management pays out, they're going to be quite reputable, depending on the amount.

Read the last 2 pages and some old threads, what's your point?

Looking at your past bets it does look like you are doing alright all things considered, I know that if I followed every single one the same way that you bet i would not be disappointed Smiley.

How many bets do you usually post per week and how often before the game starts do you make the prediction?

Smiley
I used to post at least 3 tickets/week, even more sometimes, but lately I'm posting quite less.

I mean, for LastPass at least, once you login, it won't kick you out of the session (so you need to type your password again for 2 days or so in my experience) so even you got keylogged, you'd probably have some time to figure it out.
On another note, if you did get keylogged, it won't matter if you have a password manager, they're still getting all your passwords.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: January 19, 2018, 02:32:06 AM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?

I don't want to continue to playing gambling because I don't know if I could win in the next round or not and it is better for me to leave the place because I run out of money. but maybe in out there, there is people which still playing gambling while they already know that they run out of money too and they still want to try their luck. I don't think this is a good idea because you need to think about how if you lose all of your money, how you can go home and else.

It would be weird staying in the casino with no money lol
Wonder if they would let you if you lost a lot  Undecided
Also, if you already lost a 100k, fuck that 100$ you're left with, put it on the lottery xD
If you're going to play a man, play him 'till the end Tongue
There's a Croatian phrase that better describes what I'm trying to say, can't really translate "kurčit" but it's something like ^
Sounds much better on Croatian...
There is no bloody word to translate kurčit, it doesn't fucking exist.

1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League Betting Pool v2.0 | Current pot: £420 on: January 19, 2018, 01:47:02 AM
For me we can establish a BTC amount regardless of its equivalent value in £.
0.003btc seems  the right amount.
I wanted to propose to insert a small contest with bonus points: each user will predict the final standing of premier league (first 4 positions) and only those who guess exactly (the 4 teams in the correct order) will have a bonus of 50 or 100 points  add to his final score.
Do you like  this idea?

Although, I like the idea of people competing and trying to guess the top 4. It's probably unfair to those who have accumulated points through the rounds. 50/100 points is a lot and could see a user leapfrog over multiple people because of it. I think guessing the scores/results is much more difficult than guessing the top 4.

It's worth the same as 1 correct score, that's not that much.
Maybe 50 extra points for predicting the top 4 in the correct order?
It's not as easy as it seems.

Hi no you are wrong , you say 37S697JPGc7bLNWkW4nT4jbX1ZU3LpohYZ sent .0032 but it didnt. Check the transaction id 4bd8dc54247fde826bc22ae2afd6d97894ba2b43977167de3f2ffbc82cff78db
36d7BVzP1nhToP2W3iUMUvL4g5JZrz56KP sent .0032 to 1Kba5pm3WgFZbVSUC8JDMJoFDrF8apsyFn. I can see it on blockchain. 37S697JPGc7bLNWkW4nT4jbX1ZU3LpohYZ only send .0014
My bet is not here refund me please! Anyone can see that you are  scam me here.

OddEvenBets is right, everything is legit.
You posted the txid yourself, you can just go to blockchain.info and paste it in the search bar, and it will show 0.0032.
I know it's confusing for a newbie since it shows a different address and a different amount, but you know it's your transaction because of the tx id.
The reason why it's showing a different address than the one you expected is because of change
You can read more about it here
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change

But summed up it's basically this.

Quote
When the output of a transaction is used as the input of another transaction, it must be spent in its entirety. Sometimes the coin value of the output is higher than what the user wishes to pay. In this case, the client generates a new Bitcoin address, and sends the difference back to this address. This is known as change

I know the win was 1007BTC but what's a rough estimate of the BBJ total contributions in BTC?

Betcoin will always be a notoriously shady and untrustworthy operation.

New owners, new management, it doesnt matter.  They will be forever tarnished as being a non-trustworthy brand in this space.

Fuck no.
If the new management pays out, they're going to be quite reputable, depending on the amount.
*if it is new management*

Just use a password manager...
I got all my accounts broken into including this account once betcoin.ag was hacked and the password were leaked.
Never use the same password everywhere, never.
Shit happens, it just might happen to you.
Can't stress how important this is.

Password managers are not a good idea when dealing with Crypto.

Basically you are protected if some site gets hacked and your password was completely unique.

However if you get malware, someone will have access to every single password you have.
Whats worse is if your harddrive crashed and you lose the entire database of passwords. You will have a very hard time filing support tickets to get your password reset.

Password manager +2FA, safest option I can see.

If your harddrive crashes why would you lose your your passwords?
They're stored somewhere online.
Check LastPass  Smiley

Quote
Though sometimes I just hate using 2FA since when I don't have my phone with me then that means I can't log anything in. However, I don't want to use an authenticator that is on my pc because if my pc is compromised so is my passwords and the supposed third layer of protection which is my 2FA. Maybe someday someone will think of a better alternative to 2FA that won't need another device or a software which is on the PC itself.

I read about yubikey, seems promising since you can use your thumb print to use it on some sort of 2FA.

Dude, 2FA is supposed to be on your phone, not on your PC.
It loses its purpose if you're using it on on the PC.

Just use a password manager...

I agree with this, if your password manager gets hacked (especially the online ones) then you are fucked. They get access to ALL your accounts! Though I use something that is pretty much safer even if it is a password manager.

I use masterpassword. It is a nice program, if you guys want to check it out, I recommend you do so. It combines username + password + your website's name (or whatever nickname) + password type = password. What is nice about it is that if you remember all those even if you accidentally delete the program or you're on another computer, you can use that password manager. It's kinda hard to explain, it is better if you check it yourselves.

The thing is, LastPass is definitely harder to hack then for example my laptop xD

1560  Economy / Gambling / Re: Follow all of my professional sports bets fully-automated! on: January 18, 2018, 11:24:28 PM
~Snip~

You have to have some type of proof of concept before accessing someone's personal funds with personal details. One of the better way is just post your initial 25-30 bets here in the forum without any fees(you can always expect a good tip) so that we can know about your sports betting prediction capabilities. This will also help you to boost your long term subscriber base.

He's not asking personal fund/details though... He's just asking you to use a site, which will automatically place the bets.
However, I do agree on the other part. He should prove himself before offering his services, not after.

Hello,

I am a professional sports bettor and up until this day I have never sold any of my sports bets because I use a high volume approach and the old sending picks via email method was just never suitable for that, also I do a lot of live bets, so this was another major reason that I never sold picks.

Now there is a platform which enables me to run a kind of sports betting fund and you as a follower will get every one of my published picks just 1-2 seconds after I published mine. Fully automated the bot will place the same bet as mine immediately in your account. I will take 1% of your stake as my payment, it will be deducted automatically from your smartbet website account.

Here is how it works.

- You register an account at https://smartbet.io/

- You download the bot (instructions here if you need it: https://smartbet.io/questions/view/6/how-do-i-install-or-upgrade-the-bot)

- Enter your BOT-ID that was sent to you via email

-  Make yourself familiar with the bot settings (it is not that many and there are tutorials on the website) and also add your Pinnacle account to the bot (upper left corner). Also, I would encourage you clicking through some
topics on the webpage to see how it all works (it is really not that many and most things are straightforward). Message me if you encounter problems.

-  Add my service 'Edgebettor' to your bot's tipster list (lower left, there is a search function available).

- Once added you will automatically receive all bets and the bot will place the bets for you (don't forget to start the bot).

- My bets are 1-5 units. So if you set your bot at 10 EUR per unit, a 5 unit bet will be placed with 50 EUR in your account.

- I am a high-volume bettor. Expect 500+ bets per month.

Happy earnings!

For the first 10 days I will not charge the 1% fee per stake, so you can follow my bets free of charge until 22nd of January.

According to   https://smartbet.io/pages/my-picks?tipster=Edgebettor&sorts[pickdate]=0 , your ROI is -10.26%. I doubt anyone will use this, unless you start upping that a bit...

Maybe can just set up the bot to bet the opposite of what he does and then you will be making money...

Lol hahah
Might not be true though, depends on the odds.
