Algo

Didn't you look on the pool ? It's stated in the header..  Scrypt..
i saw...

i hate Scrypt....

i havnt got a Scrypt miner... Gpu miner..

Scrypt is an old algo.. GPU isn't profitable, it's ruled by ASICs

Looks like we only have 2500 Blocks:

However 90 Blocks, so 90000 out of 2500000 are already mined:

The dev is probably waiting until the Wallet has been built for Windows.

I was bored and set up a Pool already:
https://frost.suprnova.cc

However... It's Walletbuilders.. So don't expect too much. Also be aware that the Dev might relaunch now that "his" source is leaked Wink

PS: Next time, make a private repo on github, "Dev" Wink

I'd rather use stratum on suprnova, it gives you less stales, try:

2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: suprnova question on: August 25, 2016, 09:44:51 PM
I am in NY so if I were to use an exchange as my wallet address I may find myself unable to withdraw crypto.

I am stumped trying to figure out how to make an LBRY, Decred, or Siacoin wallet.

I notice on suprnova pools I can use my worker ID to mine with. I am wondering if it is possible to mine without a wallet ID in my suprnova account and if suprnova would hold my balance until I am ready to send it out with Shapeshift?

Exactly that's the idea behind the registration Smiley

Yes.

2536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Krypton KR - Smart Contracts, DAPPs Development for Business Systems & IoT on: August 25, 2016, 06:35:32 PM
I always get into some trouble when I post online. Anyway, I'm mining from China (I'm from Canada though..just work here)...so I need a vpn to use the suprnova dashboard. So, from here, the dashboard is slow, stops, starts...is inaccurate to a level that approaches silly. The quantities are usually way off..the hashing power dips and peaks ridiculously...4 miners may be 'copied', but who cares?? It works flawlessly here with an even, steady hashrate... and payout. The issues with suprnova are across many coins, not exclusive to KR. I found the same with Shift, ETC, KR...and so on...I love the interface and dashboard, but the accumulation of issues I mentioned made me use it as a pool of last resort...if I can't find another pool that has a decent hashrate on the coin I'm mining. This has been my consistent experience with suprnova...I love the look, the dashboard, the selection of coins to mine...one sign-in for all coins...but the unsteady hashrate, stopping and starting dashboard, and the biggest issue for me mining here is the huge number of messages 'job not found'...meaning that the pool has no work for the miners...I've never had any pool drop my miners so often, then not auto-resume mining when new 'work' is found. All other pools I use don't have this issue. Now, maybe suprnova just has an issue in China. I've tried it with and without the vpn...makes no difference. This is my experience. I'm not here to offer cheap criticism...I like suprnova's features very much...just wished it worked better. Ok...enough said...but all this is the truth here at least. Thanks for responding and reading. Something to consider for pool operator's who have users in China maybe...there are a huge number of crazy big mining farms here...maybe it's related to that..and the censorship of the 'Party' always 'blocking' everything borders amusing were it not so intrusive and super paranoid...they block the weather streaming video from Nova Scotia, Canada..like that's a security threat to China..lol....

Thanks for your criticism, let me explain a few things to you:

1. Dashboard - The live Dashboard is designed to show a light-weight estimate of the last 60 seconds of your miners at a glance. It's updated by Ajax and many calculations take place on your local machine in javascript where data is fetched in the background through an JSON API. It's not designed to give you full accurate Info, for this you have the "My Workers" Tab Smiley Sometimes the Dashboards gets hit by folks who are pressing F5 a lot, due to anti-ddos the requests are throttled to 20 requests per second on the API. So if someone gets over this limit, it takes about 2-5 seconds until the throttle is released and the API is "unlocked", just wait a bit and the data will catch up.

2. Job not found. This doesn't mean the Pool has no job in the background, it means the Job you've sent wasn't found on the pool. For example I send you "Job A1" - you reply with "Job A0" then you get a "Job not found" error - you've sent a stale share from the old round. This happens VERY often with ETC/ETH/KR/SHF/ELE because of the fast block times. Other pools sometimes simply don't report the error and say "OK" but also don't count your share. If other pools accept stale shares it'll be unusable data because it's work done for a round (block) that has already passed, but, as you see, it's sometimes better (maybe) to simply be (slightly) dishonest and accept the share but discard it silently in the background Smiley All what "job not found" means is that the pool is telling you you did your work too slow, you did it for the old block which has already been found.

3. China - I wasn't aware you're located in China, but imagine your post earlier said "Pool is unreliable".. Nobody else knew you're located in China, so everyone thought the pool is generally unreliable .. Which is simply not true, I have very reliable, ddos protected and quite expensive servers in the EU and USA which run over multiple failsafe links in clustered mode. It's really, really hard to get them down, even by tough DDoS'es. If you would have told me you're in China I can set up a dedicated node for china too, let me know in which region you are and I'll find a host near you which can be used as a mirror for the pool.

2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Krypton KR - Smart Contracts, DAPPs Development for Business Systems & IoT on: August 25, 2016, 03:38:51 PM
The reason is simple: suprnova is not a reliable pool..I've been mining various coins on it..it has so many 'issues'...so, people go to '4 miners' because it's a great stable pool...we pay a lot for our equipment, who wants to waste it hashing on an unproductive pool??

Interesting, what are the issues ? Actually I'm doing pools and crypto since 2012, I'm available 24x7, I even have a support chan in IRC or via Twitter.. I pay bounties for bugs, I pay bonuses, I even pay coins after rounds have completed if there were any issues.

I've never heard of any "issues" and the KR pool is running for quite a long time now.

Beside of that, I'm developing my stratums, by frontend and backend myself and I don't rely on any other developers who open source pool's backend software so I'm certainly aware what's currently going on in the background. I can see attacks on stratums, because I've developed stratums, I know how a fake share attacks works because I'm writing counter measures against it.. Or double share attacks, fake blocks etc.. Even IF such an attack sucessfully happens, I pay afterwards and reimburse the miners...

EDIT: Oh and btw there already was an "issue" which fast fixed quickly after it was reported and all users got a decent 20% bonus on their balances. I'm not doing this as my dayjob but I certainly serious in what I'm doing.

Thank You for the support SUPERNOVA ROCKS!! i learn to mine and mining on it and support is great
