2521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: June 29, 2022, 10:27:30 PM
Look at Eth/Btc Chart. looks like it has found the bottom. i see a clear uptrend towards 0.08. In this case alts can be pumped too. so keep your eye on At Altcoins. This could bebthe start of a relief rally. but i dont think so that will be oump towards ATH. expecting just a relief rally only.
 Roll Eyes

How sure are you, I think is too early for you to just jump into conclusion, current pump that happened those not mean the bear market is over and it those not mean that any coin have touched the bottom, what I know is that we don't just expect a coin to be dumping without little pump, I believe bitcoin might still dump more with will affect other altcoins but it gives us opptunity to buy more and if you are having bitcoin in your wallet already and you don't have more funds to buy more, just hold the one you are having and wait patiently for bull run.
Yeah, you're right but there is one thing we know about the market and that was unpredictable. Though we can't say it going up after some pumps, we can't also jump to the conclusion that it drops more. But, I'm going to agree that this was not the time to think and expect the uptrend, yet to expect the same level or price trend as in the past days. Until now, we still don't know when this bear season ends that is why we have to extend our patience and remain calm as for sure that the direction of the market will change someday.
2522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 29, 2022, 11:15:33 AM

They have been doing that for many years, so I think that would not change, only the Cojuangco and Pangilinan teams will be in the finals most of the time, and the other teams are just farm teams, though it's not confirm but I strongly believe it's happening.

Sadly to say that it still running around the league both Cojuangco and Pangilinan corp are the dominating teams inside the league and your observation is mostly the same with other people who are still watching and supporting this league, PBA is more for these two giants they've always have the privileges and continue to enjoy that kind of treatment.

Other teams are inside to stay for advertisement, but in terms of winning the title, they are far away from winning a crown.
Yeah, seemed like we already know the possible winners in the PBA, but what is posted by blockman is good, that EASL league might be better than the PBA and we will see if the champion and runner in the PBA are really worthy to face other countries leagues. As to PBA, it's very sad that we cannot change what has been practice in centuries already.
2523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2022, 10:43:43 AM
I also don't think that Clippers should trade John Wall. He hasn't been playing in any game since April 24, 2021. This is a huge interval for a basketball player and it is hard to rely on that player again for some time at least. They can at least monitor his performance at Rockets for some time and then decide what to do. He was of course a very talented player but we don't know how he will return. I also agree with @Yaunfitda that Clippers should already be comfortable with George and Leonard for now.
Wall does not play because he doesn't like his team, he just wants to be traded and I don't think because he didn't play that will lessen his value. IMO, Wall still belongs to the league of superstar in the NBA, and he can be a big help for the Clippers campaign to win a championship.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: June 29, 2022, 09:15:37 AM
Is polka-dot a good price at 7 dollars? This was its price two years ago, do you think that polka-dot can still go down or not? Have we met the bottom for altcoins or all these are just fake outs? What do you think about altcoin market.
Maybe YES or maybe NO - can really figure out what gonna happen next. But I suggest for you OP to move out from this project and look for better and more promising projects. If you have some of these coins, make sell them if you have doubt but if not, just keep them while investing other coins.

For now, it was not deniable that the altcoins are facing a higher risk when investing in them. That gonna be wise to just to focus more on the leading altcoins and Bitcoin.
2525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD is for losers. BE A WINNER. Stay Cool- Be Positive =D on: June 28, 2022, 10:43:59 PM
One thing I've come to discover is that most people that hate bitcoin didn't hate it because they really want to, but because they missed buying it when it was way cheaper, now out of jealously and envy, they wish Bitcoin to fail so they can laugh at those that are holding it and say "I told you so".
They are always disappointed when bitcoin begins to rise that they have no choice but to hide their faces in shame, but when the price starts declining, they come out from their hiding holes to chare their ego.
Bitcoin is here to stay, if you are a hodler no matter how small, Congratulations, you are over 1 million steps ahead of many who are yet to Come on board.
When bitcoin finally hits $100,000 usd and above, I will to see the faces of those that are fudding it right now.
They hate Bitcoin and they hate people who put risk their money and that was because they don't understand crypto and they are not even willing to accept that they are wrong with their assumptions. They of course simply throw negativity just to discourage people and to go along with them but somehow, only a fool will listen to them, many will try and be somewhat happy with the output.

It is not a surprise, it is to imply that only risk-takers will find good deeds in crypto investment, not meant for everybody.
2526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: June 28, 2022, 10:12:45 PM
People are waiting to buy lower, but what if you're wrong and this is the bottom?

You never know what's going to happen next.
Well, just about to happen that Bitcoin moves back low again after reaching a high of almost $22k. Kinda be seeing it dropping again but for me, I suppose not to wait for the bottom as we never know when. If ever we miss the chance in the last time on its first hit, we've better take this now rather than waiting for the bottom price. We actually don't know what is the incoming nor we ca be negative just because of the dumping trend as who knows if the pump will ever come next? We have to play the market trick - take the risk.
2527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2022, 12:34:23 PM

Westbrick should be cheap but he is actually $10 million more expensive than Kyrie. I don't know how the Lakers will do this. Or are they really serious to include AD in their trade deals?

Not sure if Lakers will be willing to do this, but if they are really aiming for another caliber roster, Kyrie + LeBron might be a good

1-2 go foundation, though it's still depends on how the future will dictate between these two teams, the offer may come back once the

league starts, changes can be done. After some negotiations, we never know how money will work with these possible deals.
I don't think that they are going to include AD, maybe some of their role players, Lebron and AD will likely to stay for at least one more run next season. We've already seen that Vogel's head was gone, so probably it will be Westbrook next then the veterans and then their role players.

The foundation will remain with Lebron and AD and how they are going to rebuild next season with a new coach. That's what they needed, a fresh start after that disaster last season.

I also don't think that AD will be included, he is valuable as well, and although he has some weaknesses, he can be very useful in the playoffs. If the Lakers would want Davis to be useful in the playoffs, they should do the right load management for him so they will not play heavy minutes in the regular season.

I can't see the Lakers winning a championship with Lebron and Irving only, AD is a very important player for the team.
2528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 28, 2022, 12:05:29 PM
They should really specially with JMF around, and yeah I would say they are pretty much stacked up. Maybe they will need to find a way to have the 'death five' again, but this time old faces and then new names for them.

With a new name, agree. Death Five already established a good run in the league. Who will be the new death five?

Let's wait until all players in SMB return with a healthy status. But for me, I'd rather like to see another Death Five same performance talent on another team.

It's time now to have unusual teams in the Finals which will likely we will only see during the import conference.

It's healthier to the league if all the teams are well balance and not just the same familiar faces and teams that continue to be more dominant against their rivals, looking at the current standing seems still good for the market in terms of unpredicted outcome, but for sure things will remain the same once playoff starts to arrive, those quiet but also composed of good stars they will make a rally and regain the slots.

Let see if SMB or MVP will continue. Maybe this all-pilipino cup will surprise us. We can't conclude yet, too early for anyone to predict who's going to be in the finals.

They have been doing that for many years, so I think that would not change, only the Cojuangco and Pangilinan teams will be in the finals most of the time, and the other teams are just farm teams, though it's not confirm but I strongly believe it's happening.
2529  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 27, 2022, 10:34:45 PM
snip~

Agreed. Even the first world countries there are still a lot of people who aren't tech savvy to understand the complexity of a cashless transactions.
How much more on the 3rd world countries. Both would co-exist and as time passes by cashless transactions might become the most preferred one than paying on cash, but cash won't just disappear, both would still co-exist.

We are already practicing the cashless payment in some points of our daily life.
Like paying an online merchant or other online purchases.
However, it is true, not all people are amenable to this kind of payment method even in first world countries.
I think, cash payment will remain, though digital payments may increase a lot in the coming years.
Let us embrace both methods, anyway, we have daily purchases that do really need physical cash, whether you are in 1st world or 3rd world country.
Indeed, some people are doing this for many years already but it is never enough to enlighten others to adapt to the system knowing that they don't have the capacity to do it. In any form of cashless payment, nothing has been largely compared to fiat money which means that the majority are still reliant to paper money for their convenience and are most likely don't have a reason to stop using it. The word convenience makes people to choose what they want and a particular method of payment.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweatcoins will be launching this summer...Is it worth it? on: June 27, 2022, 10:01:14 PM
There's an app called "Sweatcoin" which basically pays you by doing nothing other than walking.
That simple words are enough to say that this project is obviously a scam. Nobody will be able to give you free money in the first place and besides, this project's app is not helping in the community. And the question is, where do they get the money to pay from the users if it was a free app?

Well, we can expect a lot of people to join the party and enjoy walking. Maybe we can still use the app but never expect for such an offer to come as that is impossible.
2531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 27, 2022, 11:52:04 AM
That's right, because sometimes being overconfident will actually make him self-destructive because if you are too confident, it will make your opponent able to find a gap there.
Now he's quite the underdog but on the other hand that's not a guarantee either because when the fight is done. It's just about whose punch is the best and what strategy he takes is what wins.
Magsayo will surely mentally prepared for this since as a boxer, you also need to train yourself with regards to this one or else you’ll suffer mental block during the match. Boxer always have their own confidence especially if you are the defending champion, so with this Magsayo is defending the belt and I’m sure he is more confident for this match and he is really working hard for this.
In terms of strength, I really believe in Magsayo and indeed everyone must be confident so that there can be no burden in fighting, but on the other hand, as before, you can be confident but not too confident.
I am also in Magsayo's side for now but that doesn't mean we have to underestimate Vargas in this case because we all know that Vargas' power is also quite difficult to beat.
Nah, he cannot do that, instead, he needs to see Vargas as a tough opponent so he will train harder. The chance that this fight will end in a KO by Magsayo is huge, but he has to improve his movement so he will not gassed out, his head movement and quickness has to be present as he cannot frustrate himself if he cannot hit Vargas with a clean shots, that's why patience is a must.
I'm sure he is training very hard, Filipino fighters are very much motivated as they know it will change their life if they will continue to be a champion. It's only the early success of Magsayo, he is still young so he can still aim higher for another division, but he has to win this fight first and should be impressively done.
2532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 27, 2022, 11:19:41 AM
Actually, SMB's outside shooting was also clicking that game, especially Marcio who had some great contributions from the 3 point area.

I saw the old Lassiter in that game, there was no hesitation from him and the shot was really accurate.

He had 12 points and he was 3 of 7 from outside.
However if you look at the stats, it was really the rebounding that made a big difference in this game, and it was dominated by the SMB.

SMB total rebounds was 62 and 21 of that are offensive rebounds, while Converge only has 32 rebounds, see the big difference.

But 12 points in a game is not like an old Lassiter.

Anyway, what's important is they bounced back after a loss and had a dominant win against the new team. Their rebounding prove that they are ready to dominate their opponent, so if JMF will play like during his MVP seasons, most likely SMB will get the championship this season.
2533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 26, 2022, 11:38:29 AM
The market now in soo dip. You can invest your 50% fund now and it wait if you see  market goes down more. Then use Rest 50% of fund. And hold for long term. You have to hold your coin around a couple year for get a better return. But if you can't hold it for a couple hours you shouldn’t invest on cryptocurrency. You can do day trading then. It is not any financial advice. I just Shared my opinion
Well, I feel not(soo dip)? The market just follows the cycle, up, down, bull season, and bear season - it is eventually found to be natural and expects a huge dump as the market touches the bottom. But guess what? The market doesn't look too bad, I can't compare it like it was the same with the 2018 market crash. And this is because No panic selling, FUDs aren't too influential, and lastly, people had seen the buying opportunity during the dip which it helps the price never fall badly, unlike before.
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: June 26, 2022, 11:07:14 AM
It's too early for the bear market to be over, I am saying this because many think we have hit the bottom when ethereum made it to 900$, its not over and you shouldn't be buying coins with all you have, this is a fake out recovery.

Alts are the last choice for you to buy right now, especially those who are just newly emerged and have been introduced to you early this month. Because scammers that are taking advantage of the current situation are also luring every single investor that is prone to this kind of ignorance. when newbie investors think that they are winning on the scenario where they will invest in the new altcoins because they will gonna earn a huge amount of money once the bear market is over, they are absolutely wrong because most of the time the altcoins that are new won't pump up and always stay at its current price.
Most of them become dead. However, this was not the last option as we can still make use to choose ETH and some of the leading altcoins in the CMC as they surely will pump once Bitcoin will rallying back again. Well, of course, investing in new projects is not a smart idea and it was not recommended during the bear season for sure they are likely to end scams.

60% - Bitcoin
40% -shared altcoins
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Something Like This Happen To You on: June 24, 2022, 09:48:17 PM
Gamblers have an instinct of "feeling lucky" although, in reality, there's no such thing as that.

It's not wrong though to test your luck on that particular session. Give it a test.

Give it a few rolls and risk a fixed budget on that session to see if those feeling lucky do really make sense to believe. If everything went smoothly, then extending your session for a few more rolls should not harm your bankroll on that day. The result on that day depends on how long will you stick to the idea that you really feel lucky as we know, in the long run, the house will eventually turn everything around and that lucky feeling will be turned into the worst day.
That really gives us the urge or somewhat temptation when you are on the winning streak. We literally think it was our lucky day, we feel that we would win all day. But unfortunately, here in gambling is different, yes luck may come to us and let us enjoy the moment, however, the situation will never stay long, that's 5 consecutive winnings in a day is very lucky as the next to this is losing giving a favor back to the house. And many people got empty their pockets due to the desire of having luck again.
2536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: June 24, 2022, 09:30:35 PM
I think right now, it was too soon to say Bitcoin has bottomed out. Many said 'price right now is good' but that's only because we are now just recovered from a low price last weak. Need to be a few more weeks or months in green to actually be out of the bearish trend.

It will still take a long time before Bitcoin recovers again not unless a huge event will occur that will affect its value positively. I guess it will take long months before Bitcoin hit a better price again and we're still not at that bottom price. There's no accurate prediction though but we could base things on its history.
That was the story and it will recover as it is supposed to be. Therefore, we have to keep our trust, we can't predict when but certainly it will come someday. So far, the market is moving a little bit high turning it green and this leaves the confidence that there is really a chance for recovery. Patience is somewhat we need, maybe we are not yet finished with the bear season but actually, seeing the market development it somewhat gives a good feeling to the holders and to those who bought Bitcoin at $30k (and higher).
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana survived the crash on: June 24, 2022, 12:47:34 PM
Solend a decentralized loan project build on solana network almost create what could have been another sad story in the development of crypto currencies  but wisdom from solana government and voters safe the day. We could have had the same story of Luna in our hand if not decisions to stop whales from dumping. Good one from solana team.
Last year Solana had a price at a high level of $250, and now it is only at $38,
is this what Solana means to survive the bear market? only SOL has experienced this,
we can't avoid this Bear market just by holding SOL, but for the long term,
of course Solana is one of the very good altcoin projects
maybe you have to look at the other projects as even Bitcoin had suffered a huge dump of more than 50%. It is likely to see that the entire market is affected, nothing has been exempted. However, even seeing such a huge price deduction is not the basis to say and think that Solana will die. Investors will help to change the direction of its trend, they keep holding as a way to support the team and project development. As to the moment that Bitcoin will pump, I know Solana is on to follow like these other potential altcoins.
2538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Opportunities - Forget "When Lambo" on: June 24, 2022, 12:19:37 PM

Getting rich is not about golden opportunities, but about how to seize them.
Some people will think that simply grabbing some piece of Bitcoin will make them rich instantly. But why do these people never become rich? It was because they left the market during thee bear season and just come back again at hyped. They sell their assets at lower price while buying them at high. Knowing the fact that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi Scheme that promises huge resturns in a very short period of time, therefore, we never have to expect such results unless we bought a lot of Bitcoin then hold and wait for the next ATH, then sell them.
2539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 24, 2022, 11:26:26 AM

I admit I'm also getting the same aura with Irving. I mean he's one good player but his ego is much bigger, the man had a signed contract with the Brooklyn Nets which clearly states that he's responsible to play with the team even if there's Covid-19 or not but he choose to neglect that responsibility and left the team in the middle where the team badly needs it because Durant was also injured and Harden was the one playing for the team, luckily he evaded with the team and got shelter with the Sixers.
Harden is just as selfish as Kyrie IMO. Not to mention he's too slow these days. 5 years ago James Harden was a person you wanted, now he's barely a starter.
I can see that, Harden is not as strong and fast before due to the injury he suffered, and also his style does not work effectively anymore as before he can easily fish for a foul but with the new rules added in the NBA, his style that he would initiate to get fouled is not being called anymore.

I would like to see Durant consider leaving and join the Lakers. How huge would that be for Lebron?
This is a big one, but the question is, is Durant willing to join Lebron?
2540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 24, 2022, 11:00:50 AM
I like the over 180.5 of this game as well.
This could happen if their outside shooting will both hit, this should be an entertaining match up since both teams are a championship contender.

The way it's going now, it looks like it's still under.

The current total is only 157.5... That's too low compared to the pregame line which is 180.5, this is a very defensive game, just like the first game.
It's still a close game, SMB had already taken the lead but it's still a manageable lead anyway.

Looks like my pre-game bet on under 181.5 is a winner with this very low-scoring ball game  Smiley.

San Miguel Beermen clearly misses the production output of Terrence Romeo and Vic Manuel in this game and for me it very good to bet for Ginebra while the score is tied because Japeth or Tenorio might explode in the second half of the ball game when Fajardo will be really tired by that time.

Sure it is a winner already, both teams only made a combined of 66 points in the first half, there's no way they would score more than 100+ in the 2nd half. This game is going to be a close one, and I believe with this kind of tempo, Ginebra has the advantage because this  is their game.
